Chaplain Mark Merical and his wife Dawn run RaceLine Ministry, which ministers at motorcycle road racing around the country. It's the end and the beginning! Peter is finishing his challenge on suffering and persecution in 1 Peter 5. He speaks to Elders. He speaks to younger people. He speaks to them all. Then he shares God's responsibility for enduring in this final chapter and the closing of his letter on suffering.
There is not question that we as Christians are going to suffer. It might be a lot or it might be a little. Suffering when we handle it right is good for three things. It honors God. It strengthens us. It ministers to others.
