Skinwalker Ranch: Part 1 – A Family Under Siege

Uintah Basin High Strangeness is best enjoyed with headphones.

The story of Skinwalker Ranch begins with a family caught in the middle of something they couldn’t explain. In 1996, Terry and Gwen Sherman moved onto a remote cattle ranch in the Uintah Basin and quickly found themselves surrounded by lights in the sky, mutilated livestock, and encounters with entities that defied logic. Their story reached journalist Zack Van Eyck, then veteran reporter George Knapp, and finally billionaire Robert Bigelow, who launched one of the most ambitious scientific investigations of the paranormal ever attempted. This episode traces how the legend of Skinwalker Ranch began, why the Shermans went public, and how it grew into one of the most famous mysteries in the world.
