One of our greatest spiritual dangers is becoming so convinced we possess the truth that we stop allowing the truth to correct us. We turn remnant identity into a defensive shield, mastering the art of identifying external errors while remaining blind to our own self-righteousness and prejudice. The true test of prophecy is never whether we can fiercely defend its authority as a badge of pride. True prophetic speech acts solely as a lesser light pointing back to Scripture and the cross, exposing our comfortable assumptions and dismantling our spiritual arrogance.
