ABOUT THIS PODCAST 🔗
Hello and welcome to The Alan Factor. I'm your host, Alan Pincus. Join me in discovering new perspectives on old ideas, dissecting preconceived notions and coming up with new questions, hopefully leading to a new way of thinking. We cannot learn or change until we admit that we rarely do not know. Like the big questions.
Is there a God? Are there aliens? Are we here because of creation or evolution? Where did our current knowledge come from? Did it just materialize organically? Or was it always there for us to find? Did the geniuses throughout time accidentally find these answers? Or was there some divine manipulation? The point is none of us really know for sure. The problem is, too many of us think we do.
My basic philosophy is from Socrates who said, "There are two things I know for sure. One is, I know I do not have the answers to these questions. Two is, I know you don't either." Each episode will dive into tough topics, passion, curiosity, and I guarantee you a whole lot of humor. Join me and my guests in challenging the past, exploring the present and hopefully creating a better future. The Alan Factor, follow us on Apple, Spotify or wherever you enjoy your podcasts.
