ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Claude Code is the closest thing I have to Netflix right now. I watch far less television and spend my evenings building software with an AI tool, despite having no formal coding knowledge. In this episode I explain how I run three projects at once to avoid dead time, why a Max plan is needed to keep going, and what I have built so far. That includes an inbound communications tracker and compliance trackers for our properties, both linked to Gmail with an Airtable database underneath.I am honest about the limits. A half-day build for my own use is not a finished product, and nothing is for sale today. I also ask whether this is an addiction. My checks are simple. The daily run stays safe. Sleep and family time stay protected. Each project must move a real priority forward. I admit part of my motivation is fear of falling behind, and I say why I still think staying close to the pace is the sensible choice. The lesson is consistency, the same one the running teaches. This is day 2139 of my streak. I have covered 16,433.78km, with 23,641.22km left to complete 40,075km, a lap of the world. I am doing this to raise £1M for children's causes, including Great Ormond Street and BBC Children in Need.
