ABOUT THIS EPISODE
This Yom Hazikaron, join us for a conversation with Josh Cohen. Josh made aliyah to Israel after graduating from the University of Georgia. He drafted to the IDF in November 2019 and joined the Givati Brigade. Afterwards he made the decision to learn more about Judaism at Machon Yaakov where Rabbi Beryl Gershenfeld is the Founder & Rosh Yeshiva. On October 7, during his second year in yeshiva, Josh was called up to reserve duty to go fight in the war. He has been spending this past year attempting to balance yeshiva life with being back in the military.
