One question we have to ask ourselves is, "Can people tell I have been with Jesus or am I just blending in with everyone else?" Peter shows us what happens when we blend in but we know that we can change that.
PREVIOUS EPISODES 🔗
Jesus told us there will be people that look like they are doing all the right things but come judgment day he will say "I Never Knew You." That is a scary verse but there is hope because there is a way to know and be sure he won't say that to us.
We talk a lot about sin that we know effects our lives but don't often spend time talking about the "little sins." Disobedience is knowing/hearing what God wants us to do and choosing not to do it. When we choose to disobey we are missing out on what God wants from us and what he could do…
We talk a lot about sin that we know effects our lives but don't often spend time talking about the "little sins." Judging Others doesn't seem like a big deal but can end up counting people out without knowing who they truly are.
We talk a lot about sin that we know effects our lives but don't often spend time talking about the "little sins." Bitterness can create a root system in our hearts that contaminates all parts of our lives and produces fruit of the flesh rather than of the spirit.
We often talk about sin that we know effects our lives but we often don't spend time talking about the "little sins." Gossip seems innocent and we like it but the reality is it can have devastating effects.
We talk a lot about sin that we know effects are lives but don't often spend time talking about the "little sins." Lying whether big or small harms us and God hates what harms us. Little things can have a Big Effect.
We hold onto what people say about us when they didn't create us. The best step we can take is go to the wood shop and spend time with the Woodcarver who knows you, created you and wants to speak who we are in his eyes, Special.
What if it was possible to walk around and not be affected by the gray dots and gold stars. If we learn to spend time everyday with our creator, truly understanding how he sees us and believe him we will walk around confident in who God says we are not people.
