Dance Classics: Summer Throwback Dance Party 2025 Vol. 1

Summer Throwback Dance Party (Dance Classics, 2025) Volume 1 is a 2½-hour throwback dance mix built for backyard BBQs, pool parties, or a solo kitchen shuffle. This set pulls Pop, Rock, Hip Hop and Dance hits from the ’60s through the 2000s and reimagines them for today’s dance floor with modern remixes and clever mashups. Highlights include nods to Bob Sinclar alongside a heavy helping of new retro edits from Block & Crown, GhostMasters, Disco Gurls, FlashDancers, and Steve Tosi. Expect mashups that blend two iconic hits, faithful updates given a club boost, and plenty of nu-disco and ’90s house energy; the post also notes many of these producers work under multiple aliases, so some material may be familiar in new skins. This is Volume 1 of three planned drops—Volume 2 arrives Friday and Volume 3 follows next week—so mix this release with past sets for hours of nonstop throwback party energy. Whether you’re reliving old dance-floor memories or introducing classics to a younger crowd, this compilation aims to keep the vibes carefree and the groove steady.
