MENGENAI EPISOD INI
I was a guest on The Thoughtful Entrepreneur, episode 2427, hosted by Josh Elledge. Re-uploading here with credit to Josh and his team so our audience can catch it.
About the host: Josh Elledge is the founder of UpMyInfluence and the host of The Thoughtful Entrepreneur, a daily show that has now run past 2,400 episodes. He interviews founders and operators in a short, focused format about how they actually built the thing they built.
What we covered: Josh and I talk through my role managing a fund focused on the global equity space, and the three things that actually fill my week: scaling operational outreach, refining our investment thesis to match where the market is, and facilitating capital introductions.
The through-line is a risk-first philosophy. I make the case that capital stewardship is the job, and that investors in this space expect their capital to be preserved through rigorous decision-making frameworks even while targeting growth.
We close on who actually looks at alternative investment vehicles. In my experience these get considered once the traditional avenues like 401(k)s and HSAs are already fully utilized, and for anyone trying to accelerate a financial goal or build something lasting, the starting point is always the same: define your investment objective, your risk tolerance, and your time horizon before anything else.
