이 팟캐스트 소개 🔗
Welcome to Underneath the Underneath with Yocheved Sidof, Founder and Spiritual Leader of Ohmek (www.ohmekliving.com), a community of individuals pursuing deeper ways of being.
Are you drawn to the mystical depths of life?
Do you feel a call to explore what moves and shapes us?
Do you long to live more fully, attuned to your light—and your shadows?
Do you crave the paradox, the space where all is possible?
Here, we explore these yearnings together and touch these profound depths.
We dive into those layered, textured parts of self, those unseen parts that come into focus in the mystical realms– where the mystical becomes our medicine.
These are living anthologies of embodied mysticism classes, text-based learnings, open-channel flows, vulnerable conversations, and sacred sessions. Together, we explore our own depths—as individuals and as a collective—in mystical realms and lived spiritual practice, navigating the messy middle of life that’s ripe with learnings.

More on Yocheved Sidof:
Yocheved is the founder and spiritual leader Ohmek, where she weaves the sacred and contemplative space. She is also a mystic, teacher, writer, activist, and transformation catalyst. Yocheved harnesses decades of social entrepreneurship, certifications, and lived experience — including her own wounds and healing — into her work and passions, intersecting spiritual leadership, community building and collective restoration.
Immersed in advanced trainings in healing intergenerational and collective trauma, Yocheved employs a unique modality that integrates therapeutic and somatic practices with mystical teachings. Her leadership evokes what's simply known within: how we are all interconnected, and that wholeness emerges when we are held in compassionate space.
She shares generously of her unique abilities to cultivate connection and bring harmony to paradox– innovation and tradition, teacher and student, the broken and the whole.

In this episode of Underneath the Underneath, Yocheved enters Parshat Chayei Sarah through a single anomaly in the text: a small כ. The letter is there, in the word for weeping — but smaller than all the others. Why? Three commentaries open three doors into the nature of grief itself: proportionate…

In this episode of Underneath the Underneath, Yocheved traces three stations of sacrifice woven through Parshat Vayera — the table, the encounter, and the altar — as a map for how we meet ourselves, our lives, and the divine.
At the table, Avraham is fully himself. Chesed unadulterated, milk and no…
In this episode of Underneath the Underneath, Yocheved opens Parshat Lech Lecha through an unexpected door: the soul's dignity instinct. Before the command to go, before the covenant, before the stars — there is a soul basking in divine light it didn't earn. And the shame of that unearned receiving…
In this episode of Underneath the Underneath, Yocheved enters Parshat Noach through an unexpected door: the Tower of Babel.
A generation survives the flood and rebuilds. They are unified, sophisticated, capable — one language, one speech. And yet something is hollow at the center. The Torah says sa…
In this episode of Underneath the Underneath, Yocheved opens a new Torah cycle with a question that has been echoing since the beginning: Ayeka. Where are you?
Drawing on Eicha Rabbah, the Tzror HaMor, and Rebbe Nachman — and weaving in a personal thread from a recent silent retreat — this episode …
In this episode of Underneath the Underneath, Yocheved steps into Sukkot still carrying the warmth of Yom Kippur — and finds in the humble, temporary structure of the sukkah a map for one of the deepest questions of human life: how do we walk through uncertainty?
Drawing on the Zohar's teaching tha…
In this episode of Underneath the Underneath, Yocheved enters Shabbat Shuva — the Shabbat suspended between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur — and finds inside the opening verses of Ha'azinu a teaching that reframes the entire season.
Drawing on the Meor Einayim of Reb Menachem Nachum of Chernobyl, this…
In this episode of Underneath the Underneath, Yocheved enters Parshat Ki Tavo and orients to a single word that carries layers of spiritual technology.
Hasket. Usually translated as “hearken” or “take heed” — a doubling of the command to listen. But the Midrash reads it differently. Has: become sil…
In this episode of Underneath the Underneath, Yocheved arrives at Parshat Ki Tetzei with a chidush that stops everything: the Hebrew root of sadeh — field — is the same as Shadai. Eil Shadai. The God of the breast.
The king in the field, the classic Elul teaching, turns out to be more than a metaph…
In this episode of Underneath the Underneath, Yocheved enters Parshat Shoftim at the threshold of Elul — and finds inside it a map for the inner work of this season.
The Torah opens with a deceptively simple command: place judges and officers in all your gates. But Moshe isn’t only talking about ci…
