Mairos is a Berlin-based DJ and producer whose current sound moves through minimal house, stripped-back house, acid-tinged grooves and the deeper, hypnotic side of club music.
Behind the decks since 2005, his musical identity was shaped by the early KaZantip years and a deep-rooted connection to vinyl culture. What began with collecting and playing records developed into a long international career spanning clubs, festivals and open-air events across Eastern Europe, Germany, Asia and Ibiza.
Over the years, Mairos has appeared on lineups alongside artists including Solomun, Damian Lazarus, M.A.N.D.Y., Audiofly, Claptone, dOP, John Digweed and Nick Warren. More recently, his path has crossed with artists closer to his current musical direction, including Nima Gorji and Andrey Pushkarev.
After relocating to Germany in 2022, Mairos placed a stronger focus on production and studio work. His releases include “Acid Tokyo” on Solaris Records and the “Bookhorst” EP on Acker Records, followed by a remix of Giorgio Moroder’s iconic “E = MC²” in 2024.
Now based in Berlin, he is entering a more focused chapter of his career — moving deeper into house and minimal, with rolling basslines, stripped percussion, acid touches and long-form, groove-driven DJ sets at the centre of his sound. Recent appearances in Ibiza, new activity in Berlin and a forthcoming run of house- and minimal-oriented productions are shaping the next phase of MAIROS.
Alongside his artist work, he is completing his Audio Engineering studies in Berlin in October 2026, further developing the technical side of his production and sound.
