As we are now coming to chapter 22 and onwards, David is now preparing for his son, Solomon to build the temple. We can learn a lot from this on how it relates to our walk with the Lord. Did you know that you are the Temple of God?

We now learn about the seventy disciples that get sent out as Jesus is preparing to go to Jerusalem. Their ministry is not much different than ours. Are you ready to be a laborer of the harvest?
Our study begins in chapter 20 where David returns from his fall from grace to victory over more of his enemies. He then makes another mistake that God will use for HIs glory and purposes. I am glad we are not like David at all! lol.
How sure can we be that we are eternally secure in Jesus Christ? How sufficient was the death of Christ? Can we lose our salvation? As we get ready to partake in Communion I want to show you from the scriptures that you are safe and secure!
David had just received the great promise of the Messiah that would come through him. What happens to us when we are given great revelations about ourselves in Christ? Warfare! David will now be able to fight the Lord's battles with foreknowledge of the future. The same can be done by you and I.
Last week we heard the call to follow Jesus but what does that look like? We will see several stories today where that is put to the test. Join us today as we learn from them and ask ourselves, will we follow the Son of Man?
In chapter 17 we read that God makes a covenant with David and his family line. Is this just a spiritual one? Just a physical one? or Both? Join us as we study this and find that God says what He means and means what He says.
