על אודות פודקאסט זה 🔗
xxwhy is a conversation piece centered around grandson’s favorite creatives doing divergent work in spaces of music and activism. We hope that through these conversations his audience can gain perspective of what it is like to be in the shoes of his guests, learn about their ups and downs, what goes on behind the scenes, and how they found their why. We want to end each segment giving the community the tools to pursue whatever it is that they are truly passionate about. xxwhy has proudly partnered with Idobi Radio, HeadCount and Gibson.

Up next on XXWHY is Emo Nite cofounder, Ride or Cry creative director, and all around good guy, Morgan Freed (@partywizard) // We talked about addiction, recovery, late blooming in the arts, moving at your own pace, and unconventional paths to finding your why! Good times, good peoples. Enjoy!
This special social distance edition of XXWhy I sat down with up and coming alternative artist Zero 9:36. We talked about writing music to deal with trauma, switching from making rap to making rock, staying loyal to the friends you came up with, and not getting discouraged along the way. Enjoy!!

On Episode 5 of XXWHY, I got to sit down with rockstar, mentor, new dad and all around great guy Deryck Whibley of Sum 41. We talked about humble beginnings, the competitive nature of rock, reinvention as an artist, addiction, recovery, and the art of DOING MORE & THINKING LESS. It was a reall…
I got to sit down with my friend and collaborator Phem just before quarantine locked us down. We had a wide ranging talk on purpose, finding your people, finding motivation, being a woman in music, being open with your story, your sexuality, regret. One of my favorite episodes yet. Dive in!!!
On the third episode of XXWHY I sit down with Nick Wold
from DREAMERS to talk politics, having no plan B, evolving your sound
as an artist, and going out into the water where your toes barely
touch the ground. This was recorded BEFORE quarantine and is being
released from the archives to celebrate…
On the first episode of xxwhy, grandson sits down with K.Flay to discuss artist collaboration and how their new single, "Peaches," was born.
