À PROPOS DE CET ÉPISODE
Most business owners believe that if they just work harder, everything will eventually click. For many, that belief is exactly what keeps them stuck.
In this episode of Self-Made Is a Myth, Tim Campsall, The Messy Middle Guy, sits down with Josh Millard, founder of Millard Financial Group, to unpack what really breaks when a business grows beyond what the owner can personally handle.
Josh shares his journey from machine repair to financial services, the leap into commission-based entrepreneurship, and the moment he realized his biggest constraint was not effort, but capacity. They explore the hard decisions around hiring, letting go, building systems, and why knowledge trapped in the owner’s head quietly caps growth. If you are working long hours, feel maxed out, or constantly thinking it is just easier to do it myself, this conversation will challenge how you think about leadership, delegation, and scaling without losing control.
