À PROPOS DE CET ÉPISODE
Moore's Law is an empirical observation — not a physical law — first articulated by Gordon Moore in 1965 while he was director of R&D at Fairchild Semiconductor. Moore observed that the number of components on an integrated circuit had been roughly doubling annually and projected continued growth. In 1975, after co-founding Intel, he revised the doubling cadence to approximately every two years.

Observational studies and randomized controlled trials (RCTs) represent two foundational approaches to scientific research that differ critically in their capacity to establish correlation versus causation. In observational studies, researchers measure exposures and outcomes as they naturally occur…

Moore's Law is the empirical observation made by Intel co-founder Gordon Moore in 1965 that the number of transistors on an integrated circuit doubles at regular intervals while cost per transistor remains roughly stable. Moore initially projected annual doubling; in 1975 he revised the interval to…
Peer review is a quality-control mechanism in which editors and specialist referees assess manuscripts before publication.
Open science encompasses the practice of publishing raw data, analysis code, and experimental protocols alongside traditional scholarly papers. The core mechanism is that transparency converts scientific claims from conclusions requiring trust into inspectable workflows that other researchers can s…
