À PROPOS DE CET ÉPISODE
This week on the Everything Actioncast, Zach and Chris put on their ghost goggles and close out the spooky season with 2001's Thir13en Ghosts, which turned 25.
A remake of the 1960 William Castle movie 13 Ghosts, Thir13en Ghosts follows Tony Shalhoub's Arthur Kriticos as he inherits the bizarre mansion of his uncle Cyrus (F. Murray Abraham), an infamous adventurer and ghost hunter who is killed trying to capture a particularly nasty spirit. Shortly after arriving at the mansion, Arthur learns from Cyrus's ghost-hunting partner, Dennis Rafkin (Matthew Lillard), that the mansion contains a collection of dangerous spirits in the basement, and they get loose while everyone living is trapped inside. Zach and Chris discuss how Cyrus should have just sold the ghost goggles to the public, the overly complicated plot involving the Dark Zodiac and ancient machinery, how Arthur can afford a seemingly live-in nanny (played by Rah Digga), the awesome bisection kill, and more.
You can watch Thir13en Ghosts on AMC or rent/buy it from Amazon, Fandango, Apple TV, and more. Next week, with Godzilla Minus Zero hitting theaters, we're heading into the monster melee of Godzilla, Mothra, and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack.
