À PROPOS DE CET ÉPISODE
Welcome to Doomsday - the podcast that seeks to myth bust your favourite Armageddon scenario. Gidday, I’m your host
Wendy John…And in the late 90’s my friend Michelle and I sat in a darkened Brisbane cinema, crunching popcorn, totally enthralled by a disaster film called Dante’s Peak. Apart from the glory of Pierce Brosnan and girl crush Linda Hamilton we revelled in the sheer destructive power of volcanos and the rapid escalation of the eruption. The thought, that mother nature could annihilate life on Earth by eruption of a SUPER volcano – well that’s what I’m seeking to myth-bust today.

Dr. Karl Kruszelnicki is Lord and Master of Time and Space but nobody gives him that kin…
We try to mythbust Armageddon by cyberhacking and to do it we talk to the same guy the US Congress interviewed about cyber security.
Today I’m testing the waters – the ocean really - between North Korea and the USA and asking an expert, ‘Whadda the chances of nuclear war?’
Last month the movie GEOSTORM hit the cinemas – now I love a good disaster film as much as the next girl - but Doomsday by Mother Nature? Let’s try to mythbust THAT!
