À PROPOS DE CET ÉPISODE
Where does evil actually come from?
Is it simply part of human psychology and behaviour, or is there an independent spiritual intelligence behind it?
In this fascinating conversation, Andy Porter sits down with author, pastor and speaker Michael J. Muccio to explore two different spiritual perspectives on evil, negative influence, personal responsibility, spiritual protection and the unseen forces they believe can affect human life.
Michael shares his remarkable journey from a successful career in corporate America and the hospitality industry to working alongside legendary motivational speaker Zig Ziglar, before ultimately feeling called into Christian ministry.
The conversation then turns to Michael’s book, Evil’s First Breath, and the unusual experience that inspired it.
Michael explains how a vision he experienced more than 30 years ago eventually became the foundation for the book, which explores the origin of evil through a Christian and biblical perspective.
Andy and Michael then go much deeper.
They discuss whether negative thoughts always originate within us, their respective beliefs about demonic and spiritual influence, spiritual warfare, energetic sovereignty, frequency, prayer, meditation and the importance of taking responsibility for our own thoughts and actions.
Although Andy and Michael use different language and come from different spiritual backgrounds, this conversation reveals some fascinating areas where their perspectives intersect.
