An immersive journey, exploring the values and hopes of a cohort of humans from across a region: young and old, famous and unsung, from artists to scientists, activists to entrepreneurs and beyond.
Season 3 of this award-winning podcast series invites you to witness the brilliance of humanity through the vision of 100 remarkable individuals from across the Bay - narrated by Xavier Amin Dphrepaulezz aka Fantastic Negrito, sound design by Sarah Myles, with original music by Brian Eno.
The Human Atlas is a social impact art platform that uses anthropological research to create multi-layered narratives of our time through portraits, ancestral DNA and sound. The works are context rich, multi-discipline initiatives created by Marcus Lyon to inspire a new generation of change in our societies.

Each Atlas is built on an extensive nomination process, where a diverse group nominate individuals from their communities who are driving sustainable change in all its forms: from activists to entrepreneurs, from non-profit leaders and public servants to artists and scientists. Human Atlas unlocks deep narratives to conserve human geography for future generations. In each Atlas 100 selected nominees' extraordinary life stories are brought together to engage the broadest of audiences and inspire an understanding of our humanity — past, present, and future.

The work gives voice to remarkable people and holds a mirror up to our worlds, while questioning the audience's responsibilities to their own communities and fellow human beings. To date Lyon and his team have produced exhibitions, immersive architectural projections, podcasts and books on Los Angeles, Brazil, Germany, the City of Detroit and Silicon Valley. Over 500 nominated change agents from across the planet have become part of the platform.
