This week brings another installment of “Degrees Of Separation…,” where we dig into the side projects, supergroups, and solo releases connected to a particular artist. This time, we pay tribute to a rock n’ roll workhorse and journeyman from the Great White North: a jack-of-all-trades musician who seems to be single-handedly keeping many of the legacy artists we love in fighting shape. He’s not only a multi-instrumentalist and consummate rock star, but he also has some of the best pipes in the business. Of course, we’re talking about TODD “DAMMIT” KERNS!!!
New to InObscuria? It’s all about excavating obscure Rock n' Punk n' Metal from one of 3 categories: the Lost, the Forgotten, or the Should Have Beens. While you may know Todd primarily as Slash’s bass player and backing vocalist, you may not realize just how deep his catalog of side projects runs—or how many artists he has supported throughout his career. As always, our hope is that we turn you on to something new!

- Smash L.A. - “Breakin’ All The Rules” from Law ‘N’ Authority (1989)
