Discussion Questions:
Why do you think there was such harsh punishment for Ananias and Sapphira's sin of lying? Was this a just consequence?
Peter said, “We must obey God rather than men.” What does this mean? What are some areas of your life that you might be trying to win the approval of others instead of trying to honor God?
Prayer Prompt:
Today, spend some time praying that we would honor God even when it’s difficult. Pray that we would overflow with the truth of the gospel on all who would listen! And pray that EVEN if suffering comes, we will obey God rather than man.
Unreached of the Day:
Our unreached people group of the day is Kalabaz people of India. The name of this people groups translates to the word “acrobat” and that’s exactly what many of these people are! However, most of the Kalabaz people are very poor and unable to read. This makes it challenging for this group of people group to read the Bible in their language. Pray that God would send missionaries to these people to tell them about the good news of Jesus dying for them and raising back to life!
