This is Progressive Politics Daily, the 5-minute news bulletin for left-leaning politics geeks wanting the latest policy and campaign announcements from Westminster.
I’m your host, Paul Robinson, and every single weekday I’ll be releasing a brand new episode, bringing you all the developments from Labour, the Lib Dems, the SNP and Greens as they prepare to increase their representation in Parliament in 2024.
Next year’s general election is likely to be a game-changer, as progressives attempt to throw out what will have been a 14 year old Conservative government. Don’t expect this show to be impartial, balanced or to ‘both sides’ all the arguments. We’ll be coming down squarely with whoever is in the best position to get rid of the Tories from each constituency.
This is the podcast focusing on the progressive causes and candidates that will occupy us for the next half-decade of British politics, and I hope you’ll join me along the way.
You’ll be able to listen to all the episodes of Progressive Politics Daily wherever you find your favourite podcasts.
