If you've ever come home wanting to rest but somehow still feel visually overwhelmed, distracted, or unable to fully relax, this episode is for you.
We're talking about why a beautiful home isn't automatically a calming home — and what designing two beach houses taught me about the difference between a space that looks good and one that actually feels good to live in.
Because sometimes the issue isn't that your home is ugly or badly designed.
There might simply be more happening in your environment than you realize.
We talk about:
visual clutter and environmental overstimulation
why some spaces feel calmer than others
what two beach houses taught me about designing for calm
why aesthetic doesn't automatically mean comfortable
harsh lighting, visual noise, softness, and breathing room
why you might feel more relaxed in a café than at home
the things we keep from older chapters of our lives
what I noticed when I finally cleared years of my own school documents
why I think Interior Design should consider how a space feels to live in — not only how it looks
If your home technically looks fine but you've been thinking “bakit parang hindi ako relaxed dito?” this episode might change what you start noticing about your environment.
