BOJACK HORSEMAN (FINAL SEASON – PART 2) REVIEW
The long, dark, twisted, insightful, and humorous journey of Bojack Horseman finally comes to an end. In these final eight episodes, we follow Bojack (Will Arnet) as he begins his job as an acting teacher to find stability in his life. Unfortunately, the demons of his past refuse to let him ago as journalists and old connections attempt to break him one more time. Meanwhile, Diane (Allison Brie) is attempting to combat depression to write her book, Todd (Aaron Paul) is beginning a long-term asexual relationship, Princess Caroline (Amy Sedaris) is discovering how to love herself, and many more characters reach their appropriate conclusions. Sitting in once again, Justin leads an acting round table involving Lexie, Nathan, Brad, and Daniel ‘Dogget’ to see if they felt Bojack Horseman met its full potential or if it relapsed to its worst tendencies.

CARRIE SEASON 1 REVIEW Legend tells that Tabitha, an editor of a spooky scary author, fished a manuscript out of the troubled scribe’s trash can. Reading what had escaped the author’s mind onto crumpled pages, she demanded the story be completed. Thus the novel Carrie was born. Fifty years later an…
CLAYFACE MOVIE REVIEW The comic books to movie train keeps chuggin’ along and the results have been of late, hugely varied. But if you fall on the ‘not into those’ camp, you might reconsider your stance for Clayface. Telling the origin story of the DC comics supervillain, writer Mike Flanagan (The …
SACRIFICE MOVIE REVIEW A year after its premiere at TIFF, and a brief theatrical release in Italy, co-writer/director Romain Gavras’ film Sacrifice has found a home on Netflix. Back in the 80’s, the Penney family was relocating their home from harbour to harbour, when the sea took their hous…
WUTHERING HEIGHTS: THE HOUSE OF THE DAMNED MOVIE REVIEW Upon the windswept Yorkshire moors, where passion turns to obsession and the dead refuse to stay buried, Wuthering Heights: The House of the Damned offers a decidedly bloodier interpretation of Emily Brontë’s Gothic classic.
