On the latest Blackhawks Live, WGN Radio’s Charlie Roumeliotis and Jack Heinrich return in podcast form to react to the 2026 NHL Draft lottery results, with the Blackhawks landing the No. 4 overall pick. They discuss who could be in play at No. 4 and whether trading the pick should be on the table.
Charlie and Jack also break down the Toronto Maple Leafs winning the No. 1 overall pick and why Auston Matthews’ future could become a major storyline this summer. They examine the San Jose Sharks’ pivotal decision at No. 2 overall — whether to take the best available forward or defenseman — and how that choice could impact Chicago’s options.
They also touch on early mock drafts from experts, the Blackhawks’ first-round pick from the Florida Panthers being deferred to 2027 after falling within the top-10 protection, and more.
