Potentially sensitive comment.
00:00:16.800 --> 00:00:17.519
Hello, everyone.
00:00:17.679 --> 00:00:20.480
Welcome to behind the scenes with Sheriff Jason Amart.
00:00:20.719 --> 00:00:21.679
I'm Jason Amart.
00:00:22.079 --> 00:00:27.280
We started this podcast to educate everyone on the role of the Lucy Fair Sheriff's Officer.
00:00:27.440 --> 00:00:30.079
We're about serving and protecting our community.
00:00:30.320 --> 00:00:34.000
On this podcast, we will tackle lots of topics.
00:00:35.920 --> 00:00:37.280
Well, good morning, everyone.
00:00:37.439 --> 00:00:38.719
Thank you for tuning in.
00:00:39.039 --> 00:00:42.960
We have a special guest with us today, Miss Angela Shockley.
00:00:43.679 --> 00:00:52.640
She is here to talk to us about a nonprofit organization she has called Mo's Movement.
00:00:52.880 --> 00:00:56.399
And she's had, boy, does she have a story to tell?
00:00:57.600 --> 00:01:04.400
Unfortunate, but she has taken a very negative situation and turned it into something that's very positive and very impactful.
00:01:04.799 --> 00:01:07.920
So, Miss Angela, I'm so thankful that you're here today.
00:01:08.159 --> 00:01:08.719
Thank you for that.
00:01:09.120 --> 00:01:13.599
And I know it it's one of those things that uh I haven't ever been in your shoes.
00:01:13.680 --> 00:01:21.120
I've been on uh across the aisle a lot and uh been there for support on different you know situations, you know, like yours.
00:01:21.280 --> 00:01:28.719
But uh you've been through a lot, and um your inspiration behind your Mo's movement is your daughter.
00:01:29.040 --> 00:01:29.680
That's correct.
00:01:29.840 --> 00:01:32.159
Um so um and her name was Morgan.
00:01:32.400 --> 00:01:32.719
Correct.
00:01:32.879 --> 00:01:36.480
And uh she had died of fentanyl overdose.
00:01:37.599 --> 00:01:42.000
Um so can you uh tell us about about that and your your motivation?
00:01:42.959 --> 00:01:43.920
Sure, sure.
00:01:44.159 --> 00:01:46.400
Um Morgan was my youngest daughter.
00:01:46.640 --> 00:01:50.159
She just um she had a good life.
00:01:50.400 --> 00:01:52.799
She was raised in a Christian home.
00:01:52.959 --> 00:01:57.040
We gave our children, supported them, and gave them everything we could.
00:01:57.359 --> 00:02:03.280
Our family was not a dysfunctional family, and we had a good life.
00:02:03.519 --> 00:02:04.319
We had a good life.
00:02:04.480 --> 00:02:06.159
Morgan had a good life.
00:02:06.480 --> 00:02:11.840
And at the age of probably 19, she started smoking pot.
00:02:11.919 --> 00:02:21.439
She was a college cheerleader at the time, and she started smoking pot, and that was her gateway drug and two harder drugs.
00:02:21.919 --> 00:02:35.919
So at the age of 22, she took her first dose of heroin, which led to a nine-year battle of addiction, 17 inpatient treatment centers across three states.
00:02:36.400 --> 00:02:42.560
Morgan wanted to get well, but she and she had a lot of sobriety.
00:02:42.800 --> 00:02:48.240
She was in and out recovery, but in the end it took her life, and she was 31 years old.
00:02:48.479 --> 00:03:00.560
She had a little shop in Summit, Mississippi, and she had relapsed about five days prior to her death, and her dad and I found her, and she had been gone 30-something hours at the time.
00:03:00.879 --> 00:03:03.759
So that was a a really bad scene.
00:03:03.840 --> 00:03:05.919
And that was the last time that we saw her.
00:03:06.240 --> 00:03:17.599
She was unable to, they were unable to open her casket, and then we were not, it was suggested that we not see her after the funeral home got her.
00:03:17.840 --> 00:03:22.560
So that was the last time that um I saw my daughter was in that condition.
00:03:22.719 --> 00:03:23.120
Yeah.
00:03:23.439 --> 00:03:27.599
And um, so anyway, Morgan helped a lot of people.
00:03:27.759 --> 00:03:31.439
I didn't really realize it until she passed.
00:03:31.599 --> 00:03:34.159
It took me months to go through the messages.
00:03:34.319 --> 00:03:44.800
And with her being in 17 inpatient facilities in several states, she knew a lot of people in recovery that I didn't know.
00:03:44.960 --> 00:03:47.680
I may have heard of them, some I did, some I didn't.
00:03:47.919 --> 00:03:57.439
So when she passed her at her funeral, I mean, there were people that we had we had no idea who all these people were.
00:03:57.520 --> 00:04:07.520
And her funeral started an hour later, and they just had to cut the line off because these people just kept coming, and a lot of people we knew, but a lot we didn't.
00:04:07.759 --> 00:04:12.080
And then all these messages I got from people, and they would say, Morgan help me.
00:04:12.240 --> 00:04:14.319
Morgan is the reason I'm alive.
00:04:14.639 --> 00:04:20.800
And so after my head cleared, we buried her in my head cleared a few months later.
00:04:20.879 --> 00:04:30.560
I thought, you know, what can I do to help people not go through the same thing that Morgan did or we did.
00:04:30.959 --> 00:04:36.399
So after I retired teaching in 24, I founded Mo's Movement.
00:04:36.480 --> 00:04:38.639
We called her Mo, her friends called her Mo.
00:04:39.199 --> 00:04:41.680
So I named it Mo's Movement.
00:04:42.000 --> 00:04:53.040
And I said at that time, it was gonna take a village, a village of people, law enforcement, our community, our schools.
00:04:53.279 --> 00:04:58.319
It was gonna take an entire village, healthcare workers, for us to come together.
00:04:58.480 --> 00:05:05.360
And this was at a time that the it, you know, fentanyl epidemic was at the height in 23.
00:05:05.680 --> 00:05:10.800
And so I said it's just gonna take, it's gonna take all of us working together.
00:05:11.040 --> 00:05:16.000
And I've said this before, you know, Morgan would have expected this of me.
00:05:16.079 --> 00:05:17.120
She really would have.
00:05:17.360 --> 00:05:20.959
You know, she you know, she would, she would have expected me to do this.
00:05:21.519 --> 00:05:41.120
So in doing so, you know, do in doing this and bringing this awareness and prevention, then, you know, not just Mo's movement, but nationwide in our community, in our state, in our community, we are seeing a decrease in the fentanyl deaths.
00:05:41.279 --> 00:05:42.720
And that's what it's gonna take.
00:05:42.879 --> 00:05:44.959
It's gonna take all of us working together.
00:05:45.199 --> 00:05:48.959
And so that's why I brought, you know, founded Mo's movement.
00:05:49.199 --> 00:05:49.600
Mm-hmm.
00:05:49.839 --> 00:06:03.199
And you know, it's it's uh you you said something a little earlier about your your daughter and she would expect that of you, and and then you told a story right before that about how everybody credited her for saving them.
00:06:03.439 --> 00:06:05.040
So obviously it runs in the family.
00:06:05.199 --> 00:06:08.079
Yeah, to make sure, you know, they they help when they can help.
00:06:08.240 --> 00:06:29.920
And uh that that's very um uh um moving to to to know that you're able to take something and that's so dramatic and so something that's so devastating um and turn it into something that can help and and I'm sure it helps you get by each and every day, uh knowing that you're helping people and trying to prevent.
00:06:30.160 --> 00:06:36.240
And and bringing the law enforcement side of of this conversation, kind of bringing law enforcement into it a little bit.
00:06:36.480 --> 00:06:41.199
I I remember the the heroin when it came back.
00:06:41.439 --> 00:06:48.399
Um and people that brought it back is gonna be lawmakers and they should be ashamed for even touching that.
00:06:48.720 --> 00:06:52.720
But um that was when in our era heroin was a thing.
00:06:52.879 --> 00:06:54.399
If you remember it disappeared.
00:06:54.639 --> 00:06:54.879
Right.
00:06:55.120 --> 00:06:55.279
Right?
00:06:55.519 --> 00:07:03.439
Mandatory 99 years if you were caught in possession of it, and they were very strict, zero tolerance, and it disappeared.
00:07:03.680 --> 00:07:06.560
Um at least around this area it did.
00:07:07.680 --> 00:07:19.839
And now it starts resurfacing, and you have these younger kids getting on heroin and then it's mixed with fentanyl, which caused the chemical imbalance, and boom, and they don't know what they're dealing with.
00:07:20.560 --> 00:07:29.920
Uh and and people there's I don't think there's anybody listening that hasn't been touched by what you have gone through.
00:07:30.319 --> 00:07:43.600
And they may not have been in your shoes, and there can be several that has, but you know, I've I've had a cousin uh that was couldn't get off of uh the drugs and he he just wound up killing him.
00:07:44.639 --> 00:07:49.519
It was you know, it's every family deals with that, don't care who you are.
00:07:49.759 --> 00:07:54.000
And so you find this little situation you're in, like, how do we help?
00:07:54.079 --> 00:07:54.879
How do we move forward?
00:07:54.959 --> 00:07:55.680
How do we do that?
00:07:55.839 --> 00:08:01.360
Well, you create something to get other people involved, and it's very difficult to do what you did.
00:08:01.600 --> 00:08:08.319
Uh I've had several phone calls from people who say, Look, I want to do something, I want to do this, I want to do that, and I said, Fine, just let me know.
00:08:08.480 --> 00:08:09.839
Well, they never call back.
00:08:11.199 --> 00:08:14.560
You not only came up with it, but you followed through with it.
00:08:14.800 --> 00:08:27.279
So my hat's off to you for doing that because a lot of times people and and in and no rhyme or reason, no it could be just because they just physically or mentally just couldn't do it, you know, couldn't deal with it.
00:08:27.920 --> 00:08:31.199
Um so I'm glad you that you moved forward.
00:08:31.360 --> 00:08:33.600
You made some some great progress too.
00:08:33.759 --> 00:08:37.519
Um I mean you were able to do a video, you kind of got me involved in it.
00:08:37.759 --> 00:08:38.240
Correct.
00:08:38.399 --> 00:08:42.159
Um and another sheriff, uh sheriff uh Gerald Sticker was involved in it.
00:08:42.480 --> 00:08:44.080
And um Washington Parrish.
00:08:44.480 --> 00:08:45.759
Washington Parrish and Jason Smith.
00:08:45.840 --> 00:08:47.440
So you got you brought three sheriffs in.
00:08:47.840 --> 00:08:49.360
Chief of police and ponds, too.
00:08:49.600 --> 00:08:50.480
Uh Bree Larrison.
00:08:50.720 --> 00:08:52.159
Right, and then Lieutenant Colin Lee.
00:08:52.799 --> 00:08:54.480
And Colin Lee uh came in.
00:08:54.639 --> 00:09:00.159
So you were able to pull in some some good law enforcement officers, and I'll say that because it's the truth.
00:09:00.399 --> 00:09:15.360
And these guys have have all been there and done that um as far as investigating these these uh horrific scenes, and and uh so it it's it's great that you're doing what you're doing, and uh I'm glad to to be a part of it.
00:09:15.440 --> 00:09:28.399
And I just wanted to uh kind of let people know what is Mo's movement, what is the motivation behind we we know what the motivation is, but what is what is your your mission, what's your goal with Mo's mission?
00:09:28.639 --> 00:09:28.879
Right.
00:09:29.039 --> 00:09:30.720
Well um Mo's movement, I'm sorry.
00:09:31.840 --> 00:09:37.120
Well, I think all of our I think we're all looking at the same goal, which is to save a life.
00:09:37.360 --> 00:09:37.519
Right.
00:09:37.679 --> 00:09:46.000
And so on the law enforcement side, the community side, the my personal side, that's our that's our main goal is to save a life.
00:09:46.080 --> 00:09:47.279
So how do we do that?
00:09:47.440 --> 00:09:47.679
Right.
00:09:47.919 --> 00:09:52.879
How do we how do we collaborate together to reach this goal?
00:09:53.360 --> 00:09:57.840
And I think we've seen that since let's go back to 23.
00:09:57.919 --> 00:09:59.679
Let's just use the year 23.
00:09:59.919 --> 00:10:06.960
So I think we've seen the collaboration between, you know, our nation, our state, and our community.
00:10:07.279 --> 00:10:23.600
And I think all of those things together have helped the decrease, you know, these fac there's a number of factors that have decreased the number of fentanyl poisoning deaths, you know, across the nation, across the state, across your parish, right.
00:10:23.840 --> 00:10:35.039
And in our communities, because we know that the that the drugs have, you know, come into the border and then they've come across the border, they've come to the state and they've trickled on down into your parish.
00:10:35.200 --> 00:10:35.600
Right.
00:10:35.840 --> 00:10:52.159
And so with those things, you know, with the border being tightened, with the education, the prevention um that our pa your parish and other surrounding parishes, 21st district puts out, and then things like Moe's movement, you know, puts the awareness, the education.
00:10:52.320 --> 00:11:12.639
I and I brought, I wanted to break bring the law enforcement side in with the Texas Picture Productions, and I wanted to bring in people who lost someone, give their story, people in recovery give that their story, and then open it up to the community and schools, and that's what we did.
00:11:12.799 --> 00:11:15.360
And that it was a collaboration there.
00:11:15.600 --> 00:11:15.919
Right.
00:11:16.080 --> 00:11:21.039
And then DEA used some of the interviews from there for their training.
00:11:21.279 --> 00:11:21.440
Right.
00:11:21.600 --> 00:11:42.080
So, and then out of that, I got a call from a federal agent, and he said, Look, we have all these people that we are we make the arrest and then they go to trial, they go to, they go to, you know, they're incarcerated, and then we're done with the family.
00:11:42.240 --> 00:11:43.039
What did we do?
00:11:43.200 --> 00:11:46.159
Do you have anything that you can help us with?
00:11:46.399 --> 00:11:47.919
So to help the family.
00:11:48.000 --> 00:11:56.399
So what I'm you know getting at is that through this collaboration, then we're able to help more and more and more.
00:11:56.559 --> 00:12:02.559
So it so it's through just a wide array of events, and it kind of changes due to the need.
00:12:02.879 --> 00:12:03.200
Yeah.
00:12:03.440 --> 00:12:08.960
You know, and what happens in law enforcement is we we're focused on the case, we're focused on getting the bad guy.
00:12:09.039 --> 00:12:09.360
Right.
00:12:09.600 --> 00:12:16.879
And sometimes that your victim is if there's just not a lot of things for us to give to the victim, right?
00:12:17.039 --> 00:12:19.919
Like that support they need, programs.
00:12:20.080 --> 00:12:26.080
Uh, you know, it's it's it's easier to sometimes point them off, but you can't point them off to something you don't have.
00:12:26.320 --> 00:12:26.480
Right.
00:12:26.799 --> 00:12:33.120
And your your your Mo's movement has has kind of provided that of something that they can go to.
00:12:33.200 --> 00:12:35.679
And you know, we we we helped a lot.
00:12:35.840 --> 00:12:56.960
You had mentioned that um in 2023 there was a lot of things were changing, and we seen the the cartel shipping more drugs and things over here, and and the overdose the uh dose deaths in in Livingston Parish was over 183, I think was the number, but it was over 180 deaths that were directly related to fentanyl.
00:12:57.360 --> 00:12:58.559
And that's a huge number.
00:12:58.960 --> 00:12:59.440
Huge number.
00:12:59.679 --> 00:13:00.000
Huge.
00:13:00.080 --> 00:13:04.399
And uh we seen a little small uh decrease during that time frame.
00:13:04.720 --> 00:13:11.279
And if you go back to like 2022 and 2021, it was, you know, it was climbing.
00:13:11.600 --> 00:13:12.000
Right.
00:13:12.240 --> 00:13:32.159
And so we were actually uh investigating a guy out of the Springfield uh area at the time, I think it might have been Skinner, uh, but as we're investigating him and we're able to get him arrested, and he was getting big shipments of fentanyl out of Houston, we kind of beefed up narcotics.
00:13:32.240 --> 00:13:34.879
Like we knew that looks we have to do something.
00:13:35.120 --> 00:13:38.799
Uh no matter if you have the money in a budget, you gotta make it happen.
00:13:38.879 --> 00:13:39.039
Right.
00:13:39.279 --> 00:13:56.000
And so we did, we pushed the issue, we we added a couple narcotic agents, we started doing uh more uh work with these uh surrounding agencies, sharing information, uh working with uh different federal agencies, and in that we we made a really good case on this guy.
00:13:56.159 --> 00:14:10.240
He got 99 years in prison, but during that time frame while he's in jail, like any profitable business, when that business starts closing or something happens, another business is gonna, you know, step right in.
00:14:10.399 --> 00:14:15.840
So if you got a gas station down the road, it closes and one down, you know, down the street's gonna open up, right?
00:14:16.159 --> 00:14:20.480
And so we were able to identify this guy and started watching him.
00:14:20.559 --> 00:14:22.879
We did a um a great case on him.
00:14:23.039 --> 00:14:32.559
Uh we had the DA task force, uh several other agencies involved, and we were able to arrest this individual.
00:14:32.720 --> 00:14:40.159
I think he had run a little over a hundred and fifty thousand or something like that, individual doses of fentanyl in his possession when we made the arrest.
00:14:40.320 --> 00:14:43.279
Uh don't quote me on the numbers, but it was well over a hundred thousand.
00:14:43.360 --> 00:14:46.399
I think it was close to 120, 150, something like that.
00:14:46.639 --> 00:14:50.159
But this guy gets taken off the street.
00:14:51.679 --> 00:14:58.240
The next year our numbers is like 14 overdose directly affected by fentanyl.
00:14:58.480 --> 00:14:59.440
That's like a huge drop.
00:15:00.480 --> 00:15:08.159
So it just is a good feeling to know that, hey, we directly hit those individuals that were causing the problems in our parish.
00:15:08.720 --> 00:15:17.679
And it wasn't just Livingston, I guarantee you they seen a difference in Tanjibaho and Baton Rouge, uh, all those areas because they wasn't providing just to Livingston.
00:15:17.759 --> 00:15:20.720
It was absolutely throughout that area.
00:15:20.879 --> 00:15:20.960
St.
00:15:21.120 --> 00:15:28.559
Alina Parish, everything it touched here, I guarantee you they were they were um they were buying that and or providing uh for that.
00:15:28.799 --> 00:15:41.360
So during this time frame we're doing all these investigations, something else that's going on is cell phones is becoming I mean, every crime now has a cell phone involved.
00:15:41.600 --> 00:15:45.600
We have technologies where we can dump these phones and gather information.
00:15:46.080 --> 00:15:50.320
And because prosecution uh sometimes can be difficult, right?
00:15:50.639 --> 00:16:10.960
But now with the with with all the the information we have, uh our the tools we have, we've been able to make some really good um cases where we can now prove who sold the drugs to the individual and actually caused that, you know, them to you know the death.
00:16:11.759 --> 00:16:16.720
Well, when you have that, that's a that's a huge deal for a family.
00:16:16.879 --> 00:16:17.120
Right.
00:16:17.279 --> 00:16:17.759
It really is.
00:16:17.840 --> 00:16:20.480
And you don't get you don't replace your your loved one.
00:16:20.559 --> 00:16:28.720
I mean, you can't do that, but it is civil justice there and it is a little a little bit of closure knowing that the person that calls this is is paying for it.
00:16:29.039 --> 00:16:38.639
That's definitely and uh so uh actually, and and I've never really spoken about it, but you know, my cousin was one, Robbie Sibley was his name.
00:16:38.879 --> 00:16:45.519
Robert Sibley, he died of overdose, and there was a couple other individuals, but he was one of our he was one of our first cases here.
00:16:45.840 --> 00:16:47.360
Just happened to be him, right?
00:16:47.600 --> 00:17:05.039
But he had information on his phone, and we were able to recover that information, and it was able to, you know, having other people cooperate, and we haven't that more often now, um, where you have individuals and they may have an abuse problem, and they're stepping up and talking saying, Hey, this guy's selling bad stuff.
00:17:05.279 --> 00:17:05.599
Right.
00:17:05.839 --> 00:17:11.599
And uh and it gives us that information we need, the evidence we need to to make a case.
00:17:11.759 --> 00:17:20.160
So we was there was three individuals that had died, and we arrested three individuals for selling them the drugs to kill them.
00:17:20.240 --> 00:17:20.559
Right.
00:17:20.720 --> 00:17:25.359
And those were and every one of them had pled out, like every one of them was convicted.
00:17:25.599 --> 00:17:25.839
Right.
00:17:26.079 --> 00:17:38.079
Uh and we've had probably close to um a little over half a dozen, maybe a little more since then that we've made cases on, and I've watched throughout the state where those cases are becoming a a new thing.
00:17:38.480 --> 00:17:44.640
And that is a huge difference um to be able to do that, uh, to have the motivation to move forward.
00:17:44.799 --> 00:17:46.000
That's not easy to prove either.
00:17:46.240 --> 00:17:46.720
They're not easy to do that.
00:17:46.960 --> 00:17:49.200
That's a lot of that's a lot of time.
00:17:49.440 --> 00:17:52.000
Uh sometimes the person don't even have the cell phone anymore.
00:17:52.079 --> 00:17:54.400
It was a it was what they call the you know the Go phone.
00:17:54.720 --> 00:18:00.000
Uh so it's a lot of investigation and then and I call it the old school investigation.
00:18:00.240 --> 00:18:05.279
You have to sit there and you have to go through the pages and pages and try to put something together.
00:18:05.519 --> 00:18:11.119
So um my hat's uh I I commend those in law enforcement that has made those cases because I know they're not easy.
00:18:11.440 --> 00:18:12.960
No, they're not easy to make.
00:18:13.119 --> 00:18:15.759
And uh as you said, it takes a lot of work.
00:18:16.079 --> 00:18:25.599
Takes a lot of work, and then it takes the department as yours that's going to say, we're going to, you know, we're getting away from old protocol.
00:18:25.759 --> 00:18:26.079
Right.
00:18:26.319 --> 00:18:32.799
And we're going to step up and we're going to investigate these cases as a criminal as a criminal case.
00:18:33.039 --> 00:18:41.519
Because in the end, if you get the person, then they're, you know, they're charged with if you have the evidence, you can charge them with second degree homicide.
00:18:41.759 --> 00:18:46.960
And so and and get that person off the street so they cannot do this to another family.
00:18:47.279 --> 00:18:47.440
Right.
00:18:47.519 --> 00:18:55.680
And you know, and and one of the things I know that uh in your kind of mission statement that I read is you know, you awareness and education.
00:18:56.000 --> 00:19:10.319
And uh so recently we talked, you know, we talked about the video uh that you you uh was able to get me and some other sheriffs there, and uh so uh and I did even put two and two together that I did it because I knew your brother and your family.
00:19:10.960 --> 00:19:11.039
Right.
00:19:11.440 --> 00:19:13.279
Just showed up because I knew it was important.
00:19:13.359 --> 00:19:16.960
This was this is something that you're trying to educate and bring awareness to our community.
00:19:17.279 --> 00:19:17.680
Exactly.
00:19:17.920 --> 00:19:27.119
Well, in doing that, we met a uh a man, um Glenn, uh I think Glenn Muses uh and we actually have him on the phone, so I'd like to kind of bring him in.
00:19:27.359 --> 00:19:27.440
Okay.
00:19:27.599 --> 00:19:31.200
And this is this he was the actual video uh guy.
00:19:31.519 --> 00:19:34.319
He did the uh the the video filmmaker.
00:19:34.400 --> 00:19:36.799
Uh so Glenn, you are are you there?
00:19:37.920 --> 00:19:38.640
I am here.
00:19:38.799 --> 00:19:39.359
I am here.
00:19:39.599 --> 00:19:41.759
Well, thank you so much for being with us today.
00:19:41.920 --> 00:19:50.400
And uh I met you a while back whenever we uh did the uh production of the uh I think the YouTube series uh on uh fentanyl.
00:19:51.200 --> 00:19:51.519
Right.
00:19:51.759 --> 00:19:55.839
And uh so so if you would uh tell us a little bit about yourself.
00:19:57.599 --> 00:19:59.839
Well, I'm uh I'm a filmmaker.
00:19:59.920 --> 00:20:02.799
I'm I'm grateful that you didn't use the word videographer.
00:20:02.880 --> 00:20:04.000
That makes me cringe.
00:20:06.559 --> 00:20:07.920
We don't do weddings.
00:20:08.640 --> 00:20:11.599
Videographers work way harder than we do.
00:20:13.119 --> 00:20:34.480
Uh we are my company, Texas pictures, we've been in business for over 18 years, and during that time most of it was industrial production work and and some work for law enforcement and other uh and like the Houston Police Department for the whole time we existed.
00:20:35.279 --> 00:21:22.960
And when we started doing losing angels, we just keep doing it.
00:21:23.759 --> 00:21:26.799
So that's that's that's how that's how it began.
00:21:27.119 --> 00:21:36.480
And I'm in I'm in Wilcox, Arizona right now on the way to Los Angeles to do more stories.
00:21:37.119 --> 00:21:48.000
You know, Glenn, I I I think that one of the things that we're we're we're talking about and is and you just kind of said it and gave me this uh this thought in my head.
00:21:49.279 --> 00:21:59.599
You you've seen as you're starting to to do a educational awareness video on YouTube about this sentinel that is that is in your YouTube kind of takes off this.
00:22:00.160 --> 00:22:05.680
Because people have lost so many loved ones and they don't understand it and they want to educate themselves.
00:22:05.839 --> 00:22:06.640
What is this stuff?
00:22:06.799 --> 00:22:07.599
What why is that?
00:22:07.680 --> 00:22:10.640
Why is it why are is my child addicted to this?
00:22:10.720 --> 00:22:12.960
Or why is my spouse addicted to this?
00:22:13.119 --> 00:22:20.559
Why is, you know, it's I think it's important that we get out there and educate the community because they want to be educated.
00:22:20.799 --> 00:22:33.279
And I think that sometimes um, and and this is completely not getting off in the wheez, but um everybody it knows someone who's been touched by cancer, and you really truly don't understand like what St.
00:22:33.440 --> 00:22:33.839
Jude is.
00:22:34.000 --> 00:22:34.079
St.
00:22:34.240 --> 00:22:44.960
Jude's a huge organization, they do so many miracles, but you really don't truly have an appreciation for it until you have a child that has to go to St.
00:22:45.200 --> 00:22:45.759
Jude.
00:22:45.920 --> 00:22:48.000
And I had my best friend's son go to St.
00:22:48.160 --> 00:22:52.000
Jude, and that's the only reason I went there.
00:22:52.319 --> 00:22:54.880
But then I realized this is a huge deal.
00:22:54.960 --> 00:23:01.119
I want to know more about it, and uh, we need to do fundraisers, we need to be a part of the healing process.
00:23:01.680 --> 00:23:06.960
And and so this is the same thing that we're you know, Angela's doing.
00:23:07.039 --> 00:23:09.440
Like you're being a part of the healing process.
00:23:09.680 --> 00:23:17.440
And uh, Glenn, you're being a part of the heal, you know, healing process by bringing the awareness and education to uh the community.
00:23:17.680 --> 00:23:24.160
And understand these everybody out there that doesn't know about it, that wants to know about it, they're going to do their research.
00:23:24.319 --> 00:23:32.799
And uh so it doesn't surprise me at all that you've seen an uptick in your YouTube because people look at that as, hey, I need to educate myself.
00:23:32.960 --> 00:23:38.960
I need to know why my niece or my nephew or or my son or daughter or whoever just died.
00:23:39.039 --> 00:23:40.480
I I don't understand it.
00:23:40.720 --> 00:23:43.599
Um, so we we get a lot of that out there.
00:23:43.759 --> 00:23:49.519
So all of us working together, like Angela has brought up, is it it really does make a difference.
00:23:51.519 --> 00:23:52.160
Absolutely.
00:23:52.319 --> 00:23:57.680
It's it's been uh to call it an uptick would be an understatement.
00:23:59.039 --> 00:24:35.200
It's really been gigantic for us to pretty much change our business model completely toward this where now in the last three years we've been across the country from from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Anchorage, Alaska, and all because of these mental stories, the people the the viewers, the commenters that we hear from, the most common response that we get in the comments is some version of me too.
00:24:35.759 --> 00:24:55.119
Some version of I lost my son, my daughter, my best friend, my my mother or father, something that there's just there's a huge vacancy of exposure for this terrible crisis that's going on.
00:24:56.240 --> 00:24:57.920
And Glenn, you mentioned your commenters.
00:24:58.160 --> 00:25:07.279
I know in some of the comments that I've read uh on mine, they're from they're either, I mean, they're not just from the United States or out of the country as well.
00:25:07.440 --> 00:25:13.279
So that's how far your videos are I'm calling them videos, uh, your YouTube channel.
00:25:13.359 --> 00:25:15.200
That's how many people are watching them.
00:25:15.440 --> 00:25:20.000
It's not just in you know in this country, but also in other countries as well.
00:25:20.160 --> 00:25:24.960
Because some of them, some of my comments are e I have to translate, they're in a different language.
00:25:25.279 --> 00:25:25.759
Right.
00:25:26.000 --> 00:25:27.119
Wow, right.
00:25:27.680 --> 00:25:35.359
And we we average over 1.2 million views a month.
00:25:36.880 --> 00:25:40.319
Which is still it's bizarre to me to even say that out loud.
00:25:42.640 --> 00:25:54.000
I am so grateful to be in this spot where we're able to put some sort of education, some sort of awareness to this important thing.
00:25:54.559 --> 00:27:29.680
And with the with with the event that we did in Ponchatu, one thing that really struck me, as you mentioned, we interviewed three sheriffs, Jimmy, and and Washington and another parish and a police chief, and there was this wonderful, shining, impressive kind of consistency in the perceptions of these of these people in leadership roles in terms of recognizing it as not just a law enforcement issue being an important law enforcement control, but then it's an entire community issue, it's not a a rescue way out of it, or it it needs it needs awareness, it needs prevention, it needs to get them in their young efforts need to come together and and much of the way brought a lot of different kinds of perspectives together and it it just really struggles with the police thing, and it doesn't always go that way, and a lot of the storytellers that we interviewed aren't particularly happy with how law enforcement handled their case.
00:27:44.079 --> 00:28:05.599
I was really struck by that, very impressed, very happy to hear about it, and having the the the story about Skinner and the other guy that that that made such an important point about the importance of effective law enforcement.
00:28:06.079 --> 00:28:06.480
Yes.
00:28:06.799 --> 00:28:08.640
And look, and I just thought that was cool.
00:28:08.880 --> 00:28:12.799
Yeah, and we don't always we don't always get the the the the bad guy.
00:28:12.880 --> 00:28:22.400
We we just don't always get them and and and I do know there there's situations out there where uh maybe law enforcement isn't doing everything that they should be doing.
00:28:22.480 --> 00:28:29.279
Um and you have those law enforcement agencies and don't forget that are doing everything they possibly can uh in doing so.
00:28:29.359 --> 00:28:39.920
And I think that we uh we and I'm speaking for the sheriff's office at in Livingston, uh every day we we you know I I make a a comment of we can do better.
00:28:40.079 --> 00:28:49.519
Uh and and whether it's just communicating with families, because a lot of times um you want answers, like you just want to know what's going on as a victim's family.
00:28:49.839 --> 00:29:10.640
And you know, sometimes your your investigators get caught up in the moment or and are they, you know, doesn't they don't take it as serious as they that they should be, and you know, and and there's a lot of time again I'm only speaking for the sheriff's office out here, is you know, reach out to your your leadership, reach out to your sheriff, because may they may not know what's going on.
00:29:10.720 --> 00:29:14.160
Your police chief may not know what's going on, and they say, well, they should.
00:29:14.319 --> 00:29:27.039
Well, maybe they should, but at the end of the day, when you have uh here 420-something deputies and uh you have uh 150,000 citizens, I mean it it it gets to be a very busy day.
00:29:27.119 --> 00:29:32.880
So some things you may not be very aware of, maybe you're aware that it happened, but being aware of the details.
00:29:33.119 --> 00:29:41.680
So communication is really important from both sides, from your victim's family side to your law enforcement side.
00:29:41.759 --> 00:29:45.359
So you you have to communicate, and that means you're working together.
00:29:45.759 --> 00:29:56.640
Uh so when a mom calls me and I've had those phone calls, I got this cell phone, I want you to go through the cell phone, and uh you're picking up information, you're seeing information.
00:29:56.960 --> 00:30:13.039
Um I've looked through those cell phones and look, sometimes even though we know who did it, doesn't mean we can arrest them because maybe it's not it's probably not enough for you know to prosecute or not just to make that you got that probable cause and they would you know cut a warrant, make an arrest.
00:30:13.359 --> 00:30:18.079
So uh again, education awareness is is huge.
00:30:18.400 --> 00:30:24.640
Communication is a big part of that, uh, and working together with law enforcement and us making those cases.
00:30:24.799 --> 00:30:36.000
But um my message, I guess, to law enforcement out there that are listening, we can do a better job and communicate with these families and understanding that we need to make sure you understand what compassion is.
00:30:36.319 --> 00:30:38.480
And um, look, they lost a loved one.
00:30:38.640 --> 00:30:40.960
You good you have to you need to communicate with them.
00:30:41.039 --> 00:30:42.079
That's our that's our duty.
00:30:42.160 --> 00:30:46.160
We we took an oath of office to serve and protect our communities.
00:30:46.400 --> 00:30:54.000
And part of serving your community is communicating because it's a big role when it comes to protection, because you're gonna need them one day for information, right?
00:30:54.160 --> 00:30:56.640
We're only as good as the information we receive.
00:30:56.880 --> 00:31:01.440
And so it's a big thing for me to make sure we stay in touch with these families.
00:31:01.759 --> 00:31:11.680
And in most cases, as we stay in touch with these families, is is making sure your investigators communicate properly with these victims' families.
00:31:11.839 --> 00:31:39.759
So um, you know, and then one thing too, I want to uh go back to Angela, and you y'all are doing um great things as well, not only you uh with Glenn and and and doing these videos for educational awareness, you y'all are on the way to doing some billboards as well, just to to bring more awareness because one of the things we get to is you got people listening that's probably dying for your number already, or how do I get in touch with these people?
00:31:39.920 --> 00:31:43.200
I mean, how do I um what what can I do to help?
00:31:43.519 --> 00:31:46.319
Um so you have a couple billboards coming up.
00:31:46.640 --> 00:31:47.680
Yes, yes.
00:31:47.839 --> 00:32:00.079
Um actually this particular one is from um a person that has a nonprofit up north in a northern state, and so um it is gonna be in Livingston Parish.
00:32:00.160 --> 00:32:10.160
This one's gonna be in Livingston Parish, and it's located on Highway 16 close to Arnold Road, which I think is across from the baseball or softball D Bat Academy.
00:32:10.480 --> 00:32:18.960
So it's in a very good location in your parish, and uh it will go up the first either the end of this month or the first of next month.
00:32:19.119 --> 00:32:20.880
Maybe the end of this month, they said.
00:32:21.119 --> 00:32:25.119
And it is not an electronic board, so it's a it's a it will stay.
00:32:25.440 --> 00:32:29.279
And it'll actually have stuff on there like contact information as well, right?
00:32:29.599 --> 00:32:30.559
Right, exactly.
00:32:30.720 --> 00:32:40.240
And so it will it has a number of uh local people on there, as well as from other states to this particular one.
00:32:40.480 --> 00:32:56.880
Some are just geared toward the area or the parish, or it may just have like I had one or most movement had one put up at Southeastern last year on the electronic board as you come into Southeastern on Ward Line or University Avenue, one there.
00:32:57.039 --> 00:33:08.960
So that was just one person actually was my daughter, but I wanted it to go up close to the university, and so we're seeing about having one go up somewhere near LSU as well.
00:33:09.119 --> 00:33:09.200
Right.
00:33:09.359 --> 00:33:16.720
And all because you know, you see those signs, and I mean, especially if you see a picture of someone, it kind of draws your attention to it.
00:33:16.960 --> 00:33:22.160
So it's just it's just another form of awareness, but that particular one will go up in your parish.
00:33:22.559 --> 00:33:26.640
Okay, yeah, we have a couple of well, one pill can kill uh from the opioid stuff.
00:33:26.720 --> 00:33:27.920
Uh we have a couple of billboards.
00:33:28.000 --> 00:33:32.559
One went up in 190 in Walker denim area, and we have another one coming up on 16.
00:33:32.799 --> 00:33:36.240
Um, just again, kind of awareness of of what's going on.
00:33:36.559 --> 00:33:38.720
Can't do a uh enough of that.
00:33:38.960 --> 00:33:48.079
Uh, you know, Glenn, uh, before we let you go, is there anything you want to make sure that people um know, understand, or uh could reach out to you guys as well?
00:33:50.079 --> 00:33:54.720
Well, we are always open to to doing more stories.
00:33:54.799 --> 00:33:56.720
That's that's what I'm doing right now.
00:33:56.799 --> 00:33:57.440
I'm on the road.
00:33:57.519 --> 00:34:05.839
We have three stops, two in California, and then somehow, somehow we got Oklahoma City on the trip back.
00:34:06.000 --> 00:34:08.960
So that's gonna be weird, but maybe Arizona as well.
00:34:09.199 --> 00:34:23.039
So so we are always open to recording more stories, sharing more stories with our our viewers and and stories about poisoning, addiction, recovery.
00:34:23.280 --> 00:34:30.960
We also address topics like human trafficking, domestic violence, cannabis-induced psychosis.
00:34:31.920 --> 00:34:40.880
Uh in fact, we even have a few stories about cannabis being used as a treatment, which is when I learned about St.
00:34:41.119 --> 00:34:48.159
Jude's Hospital and heard nothing but fantastic things as well, which is a bizarre kind of connection.
00:34:48.320 --> 00:35:01.599
But anyway, it is uh very very grateful to be doing this and to to be a part of uh all of these efforts and be a part of your your podcast here.
00:35:01.679 --> 00:35:02.719
This is this is way cool.
00:35:02.960 --> 00:35:04.159
Yeah, well, thank you for coming on.
00:35:04.239 --> 00:35:18.079
Is there uh a way that they can get in touch with you that we can uh make sure that we uh post with our podcast if somebody wants to get in touch with you about telling their story or another agency wants to reach out to try to uh do some more awareness and educational videos?
00:35:19.280 --> 00:35:19.840
Certainly.
00:35:19.920 --> 00:35:24.880
I I suppose our website is probably the best, Texas-pictures.com.
00:35:25.920 --> 00:35:31.760
And on our website, there's even a page that's devoted to law enforcement.
00:35:33.360 --> 00:35:35.840
And so uh that that's the easy way.
00:35:35.920 --> 00:35:39.199
There's a way to email us from the website.
00:35:39.440 --> 00:35:46.000
And you you can also reach us through our YouTube channel, which would be youtube.com at Texas Pictures.
00:35:46.400 --> 00:35:46.719
Okay.
00:35:46.960 --> 00:35:53.519
Well, we greatly appreciate your time and and uh coming on board and and uh being safe and pulling over on the side of the road.
00:35:53.760 --> 00:35:55.760
And uh, but we appreciate what you do.
00:35:55.840 --> 00:36:03.679
The the the the video, I'm uh I've seen some of your uh uh videos that you've done and uh watch those episodes.
00:36:03.760 --> 00:36:04.639
You do a great job.
00:36:04.800 --> 00:36:12.400
So we appreciate the partnership, and uh hopefully in the future, if you back over this way, we can uh continue to partner with you.
00:36:12.719 --> 00:36:16.239
Actually, Chief, well I got you here and we have an audience.
00:36:16.559 --> 00:36:20.320
I want to also tell you about Chief.
00:36:20.400 --> 00:36:21.760
I'm sorry, Sheriff.
00:36:22.079 --> 00:36:24.800
Hey, I was a chief before I was a sheriff, it's all good.
00:36:25.599 --> 00:36:26.639
Yeah, yeah.
00:36:27.119 --> 00:36:33.599
We have a series on our channel that it doesn't really get a lot of attention, but it's important to me.
00:36:33.679 --> 00:36:36.320
It's called American Peace Officer.
00:36:37.440 --> 00:36:45.360
And there's honor eight stories in the series, and the goal of the series is to humanize law enforcement.
00:36:45.760 --> 00:36:51.599
Typically cops tend to have experiences that stick with them.
00:36:52.320 --> 00:37:13.360
And most of the episodes in the series are one experience that stuck with a law enforcement officer in the future, either it was particularly tragic or particularly victorious, particularly joyful.
00:37:14.559 --> 00:37:16.880
And and I'd love you to have a look at that.
00:37:17.360 --> 00:37:22.559
There's one on there called The Man on the Bridge, which is such an awesome story.
00:37:22.960 --> 00:37:25.599
I I can't talk about it without getting choked up.
00:37:25.840 --> 00:37:26.159
Okay.
00:37:26.559 --> 00:37:33.440
But anyway, rise up for more of those stories as well.
00:37:33.599 --> 00:37:42.480
They're a little more challenging because go figure when a cop has a story, command staff has to get involved before it gets published.
00:37:43.039 --> 00:37:43.519
Right.
00:37:43.760 --> 00:37:46.000
No, no, no shot there, Sheriff.
00:37:46.159 --> 00:37:47.039
No, there's no problem.
00:37:47.119 --> 00:37:48.400
I don't have to ask permission.
00:37:48.480 --> 00:37:50.880
I can just give you some stories, so we're good.
00:37:51.119 --> 00:37:55.119
Well, look, again, thank you for for tuning in with us and uh being a part of this show.
00:37:55.280 --> 00:37:59.360
And and uh we can't wait to uh maybe hook up in the future and do some more of this.
00:37:59.440 --> 00:38:02.159
So uh be careful on your travels and thanks again.
00:38:02.400 --> 00:38:04.000
All right, thank you, and thanks for having me.
00:38:04.239 --> 00:38:10.639
So, Angela, as we kind of wrap up, um I know there's probably thoughts going through your head that you want to make sure you get some messages out.
00:38:10.880 --> 00:38:19.280
I I never want anybody to leave here without making sure that they um get their message out or something you've done great.
00:38:19.760 --> 00:38:20.960
That's a lot of information.
00:38:21.119 --> 00:38:27.599
So uh is there anything that you would like to make sure that we put out there to the people that are listening?
00:38:27.920 --> 00:38:28.000
Yeah.
00:38:28.239 --> 00:38:45.119
The all the one thing that I always like to to bring forth is when when we first started this, or when Morgan, you know, when this pr this when she she was became addicted, we didn't know anything about addiction.
00:38:45.360 --> 00:38:46.239
We were ignorant.
00:38:46.320 --> 00:38:48.639
We thought it was all about willpower.
00:38:48.960 --> 00:38:54.159
Just stop this after we got over the initial shock of that she would do something like this.
00:38:54.400 --> 00:38:56.239
It was kind of like just stop.
00:38:56.480 --> 00:39:03.920
I mean, right, you know, you know, we thought we would put her in the first rehab, it was one and done, and that was it.
00:39:04.079 --> 00:39:04.400
Right.
00:39:04.559 --> 00:39:07.039
And that is so far from the truth.
00:39:07.280 --> 00:39:31.679
And so education, you know, for people who have someone that is has the disease of alcoholism, the disease of addiction, get educated because nine times out of ten, there's no right or wrong, but nine times out of ten, what you're doing is you're helping that person in addiction.
00:39:31.840 --> 00:39:36.639
You're helping that person in with with their alcohol issue.
00:39:36.800 --> 00:39:40.239
And you don't know it because we don't know what to do.
00:39:40.480 --> 00:39:49.840
And so, you know, they sling all the big words like enabling and you know, codependency, and and you're just like, okay, I kind of know what that is, but I really don't.
00:39:50.079 --> 00:39:51.920
And so get educated.
00:39:52.000 --> 00:40:02.960
My my point being is learn all you can learn about addiction because in order to help them, you if they live or die is not your choice.
00:40:03.119 --> 00:40:03.360
Right.
00:40:03.519 --> 00:40:04.639
They became addicted.
00:40:04.800 --> 00:40:07.119
That's not that's not on you, that's not your choice.
00:40:07.199 --> 00:40:08.159
It's not your fault.
00:40:08.320 --> 00:40:08.480
Right.
00:40:08.639 --> 00:40:11.519
You know, because we kind of pondered over what did we do wrong?
00:40:11.679 --> 00:40:18.639
I mean, we raised the same kids in the same household, and we got one this away, and we don't understand it.
00:40:18.800 --> 00:40:22.719
You know, well, no, you don't understand it because the average person is not gonna understand it.
00:40:22.960 --> 00:40:25.440
We do not understand the brain and how it works.
00:40:25.599 --> 00:40:27.519
So you have to get educated.
00:40:27.760 --> 00:40:30.480
Don't help your family member die.
00:40:30.719 --> 00:40:30.960
Right.
00:40:31.199 --> 00:40:35.119
And the only way you can do that is to get educated.
00:40:35.280 --> 00:40:47.280
And as I said before, you don't have, it's not your, it's not your option if they die, what you do if they die or not, but you can say, I didn't help that person die.
00:40:47.920 --> 00:40:55.679
Morgan, I can say after we learned, you know, all the things about addiction, we didn't help her die.
00:40:56.320 --> 00:41:02.159
I don't have a guilty conscience about, you know, I uh gave her money for drugs.
00:41:02.320 --> 00:41:04.239
I took her to a drug dealer.
00:41:04.559 --> 00:41:16.559
I, you know, gave her uh a a car when she was not sober, you know, those type of things I couldn't put my pillow, my head down on a pillow at night and go to sleep.
00:41:17.039 --> 00:41:19.440
I helped her every way I could in recovery.
00:41:19.679 --> 00:41:21.280
If she was in recovery, we did.
00:41:21.519 --> 00:41:25.360
We turned over, I mean, we did everything we could to help her.
00:41:25.519 --> 00:41:25.760
Right.
00:41:25.920 --> 00:41:29.360
You know, so if they're in recovery, support them.
00:41:30.000 --> 00:41:36.000
But if they're in active addiction, learn what enabling is and set boundaries.
00:41:36.159 --> 00:41:46.079
And you don't you can still love them, yes, but just set the boundaries and stick to them so your life is not in such shambles and chaos.
00:41:46.239 --> 00:41:46.639
Right.
00:41:46.960 --> 00:41:51.760
And sometimes, sometimes they get better because of that.
00:41:52.480 --> 00:42:04.079
You know, so my point being is the family get educated, learn about it so you can not only help that addicted person, but also you can help yourself stay sane.
00:42:04.400 --> 00:42:04.800
Right.
00:42:04.960 --> 00:42:08.559
You know, we it the simple term I use is uh tough love's not easy.
00:42:08.880 --> 00:42:10.320
Tough love is not easy.
00:42:10.719 --> 00:42:17.920
It's not easy at any age, even a two-year-old, you'll just give in to them because you know, so tough love is hard.
00:42:18.079 --> 00:42:18.400
Yes.
00:42:18.559 --> 00:42:20.159
It's really, really hard.
00:42:20.559 --> 00:42:21.119
It is.
00:42:21.760 --> 00:42:22.239
It's very hard.
00:42:22.719 --> 00:42:26.320
Sandra, thank you so much for coming on and sharing everything with us.
00:42:26.480 --> 00:42:30.880
I mean, it it takes a to me, I'm I'm not I've never been in your shoes, I hope I'm never in your shoes.
00:42:31.039 --> 00:42:49.039
Yeah, I just uh but it's uh a lot of courage and and uh that you've been through a lot and uh to to take what you've been through and turn it around and doing what you're doing, and and you're affecting lives, like you're helping people, you're giving them a way out, you're giving them education, awareness.
00:42:49.280 --> 00:42:55.679
And again, I commend you for staying focused on the mission that you had.
00:42:55.840 --> 00:43:05.119
Like something was put in your brain and your heart and you stuck with it, you stuck with it, you're like, I'm gonna, I'm gonna complete this, and you continue to do that.
00:43:05.280 --> 00:43:14.239
Uh, and that's why Mo's movement is going to continue to be successful, and when it's successful, you are helping so many individuals uh that need help.
00:43:14.400 --> 00:43:22.880
So one more thing, is there a website or a number or anything that you want to share where people can reach out if they need some help?
00:43:23.199 --> 00:43:23.360
Sure.
00:43:23.519 --> 00:43:24.480
And I'll I'll just say this.
00:43:24.639 --> 00:43:40.880
I had a federal agent um call me a couple of, I don't know, maybe a week or two ago, and he said, Hey, look, we're fixing to make an arrest, and I just want to be able, I want to let you know that I'm giving your number to the mother so that she can contact you.
00:43:41.280 --> 00:43:46.639
And uh, if she wants to, she can contact you and maybe you can help her.
00:43:46.800 --> 00:43:48.639
And so that's what we're here for.
00:43:48.800 --> 00:43:51.280
There's just not one certain thing that we do.
00:43:51.840 --> 00:43:52.800
Whatever's asked.
00:43:52.880 --> 00:43:58.159
If you call me and ask me something, you know, it doesn't just have to be awareness or prevention.
00:43:58.320 --> 00:44:01.360
You know, we're here to support one another as well.
00:44:01.519 --> 00:44:05.199
And there's no one, just like you, you know, you talked about the St.
00:44:05.519 --> 00:44:11.760
Jude, if you have a child that has cancer, another parent that doesn't, doesn't know how you feel.
00:44:11.920 --> 00:44:12.079
Right.
00:44:12.239 --> 00:44:13.039
So it's the same thing.
00:44:13.199 --> 00:44:19.280
If you lose a child, no one really knows the depth of the loss except another parent.
00:44:19.360 --> 00:44:19.440
Right.
00:44:19.840 --> 00:44:21.920
And that's just in anything.
00:44:22.239 --> 00:44:30.800
So uh my phone number, I'll give my phone number out, cell phone number is 985-351-4696.
00:44:31.280 --> 00:44:39.199
You can also go to Mose Movement, capital M, capital O, apostrophe S Movement on Facebook.
00:44:40.559 --> 00:44:43.920
And that is the Mose Movement Facebook page.
00:44:44.400 --> 00:44:44.719
All right.
00:44:44.960 --> 00:44:47.440
And then I have one, a personal one as well.
00:44:47.760 --> 00:44:49.440
Well, I greatly appreciate you.
00:44:49.599 --> 00:44:50.559
Thank you for coming out.
00:44:50.639 --> 00:45:00.559
And uh and if you're listening and you need help or you know somebody that maybe needs some uh some help, uh, reach reach out to Miss Angels, she'll be more than willing to give you that direction.
00:45:00.719 --> 00:45:05.519
Um, but this will wrap up our show for today, and uh we appreciate all of you listening.
00:45:05.679 --> 00:45:10.079
And as always, if you uh like what you're hearing, uh please let us know that.
00:45:10.239 --> 00:45:13.039
If uh you have information, get in touch with us.
00:45:13.119 --> 00:45:19.679
And here in Livingston Parish, uh, we love our churches, we love our schools, and we absolutely believe in the Second Amendment.
00:45:19.920 --> 00:45:21.039
Be blessed.
