Thrive After 45® is a weekly podcast for midlife women who are ready to come back to themselves. Every week I sit down with women and men who have stood exactly where you are standing: at the edge of an empty nest, at the end of a career, in the middle of a life that no longer fits. You will hear how they found their voice again, rebuilt their self-trust, and stepped into a next chapter that is fully theirs.
I am Denise Drinkwalter. I spent 31 years in education and finished my career as a school principal. From the outside, it looked complete. Inside, when I retired, I felt invisible too. I know what it costs to stay quiet, and I know what happens when a woman decides it is her turn. So I started the conversations I needed to hear. My guests are thought leaders, authors, and everyday women and men starting over in midlife, and every one of them will tell you the same thing: it is not too late, and you are not alone.
If you are a woman over 40, or on your way there, and you are done waiting for permission to live your own life, press play on the episode that sounds like your life right now. Hit subscribe so a new conversation lands for you every Thursday. And when an episode puts words to something you have been carrying alone, leave a review. It helps the next woman find her way here.
