We are starting to hear a lot of talk about program management in the AEC industry and among project owners. But what is it and why should you care?
The simple explaination is that program management is the management, coordination, and integration of multiple, concurrent projects, which is a regular need and challenge for many AECO organizations. Being able to quickly view and access projects, platforms, content and data in a program is essential to ensure individual projects work in synergy, avoiding conflicts and optimizing resources for maximum efficiency. But, as with most concepts, the definition goes much deeper and applies to many other facets of project information management.
ProjectReady CEO Joe Giegerich, Head of Development, Shaili Modi-Oza, and industry thoughtleaders Salla Eckhardt and Jeff Walter discuss program management as it relates to collaboration on information and data and discuss how to bring order to the complex nature managing large, complex projects.
Listeners will learn more about:
- Data unification and management
- Enhanced collaboration
- Risk management
