A lot of us can name our triggers, quote the self-help ideas, and still end up reacting the same way. That’s the tension we sit in today: the space between recognizing a pattern and actually changing it.
We’re joined by Pratiqk Jaani, a London-based business advisor, qualified hypnotherapist, and creator of the Dhrasti method. Pratiqk shares the personal disruption that forced him to re-evaluate everything, including a tuberculosis diagnosis that left him bedridden and face-to-face with a brutal question: do I really need to “die” to finally live the life I want? From there, we talk practical risk and transition, including how he built a bridge into entrepreneurship by growing a client base before taking the leap.
Then we go deeper into perception and conditioning. We explore why quiet and reflection can help you hear what’s happening underneath the noise, how identity and ego get built from learned emotional loops, and what it looks like to “de-label” experience so old reactions lose their grip. Pratiqk breaks down Dhrasti as a shift in viewpoint from the conditioned self to the real self, using clear examples like the red car focus and the nervous system’s tendency to default to lack. We also challenge common law of attraction advice and argue for a different starting point: wholeness first, goals second.
If you’ve been doing the work but still feel stuck, this conversation offers a grounded framework and a starting practice you can do in minutes. Subscribe for more, share this with someone navigating change, and leave a review with the pattern you’re choosing to build differently next.

00:00:01.040 --> 00:00:10.720
Welcome back to another episode of the Next Baseline with me, Danny DeJesus, where we explore one central question: what do we build now to reach our next baseline?
00:00:10.880 --> 00:00:18.079
And with that said, for this episode, sometimes moving toward that baseline is not about immediately building something new.
00:00:18.239 --> 00:00:26.640
It begins with recognizing what behaviors we may be carrying forward, the beliefs, conditioning, and automatic reactions that continue to shape our choices.
00:00:26.879 --> 00:00:31.600
We often assume that once we recognize our patterns, we should be able to change them.
00:00:31.760 --> 00:00:41.200
Yet, even with that awareness, we can often find ourselves returning to past behaviors that do not serve us, especially during times of stress, uncertainty, or transition.
00:00:41.439 --> 00:00:47.119
That space between recognizing a pattern and actually changing it is at the center of my guests' work.
00:00:47.439 --> 00:00:55.439
Pratique Janey is a London-based business advisor, qualified hypnotherapist, author of Drasti, the perception, and creator of the Drasti method.
00:00:55.840 --> 00:01:02.799
His work explores how perception and conditioning shape our choices, relationships, and definitions of success.
00:01:02.960 --> 00:01:11.519
He describes Drasti as the awareness behind our thoughts and emotions, the part of us capable of observing our conditioning without remaining controlled by it.
00:01:11.760 --> 00:01:15.120
His work grew from a personal disruption that he had himself.
00:01:15.280 --> 00:01:26.560
After being diagnosed with tuberculosis in 2017, Pratarik stepped away from his career path and began questioning how external achievement could coexist with an internal sense of emptiness.
00:01:26.719 --> 00:01:38.719
Today we'll explore where our patterns come from, why recognizing them may not be enough to change them, and how we can begin moving toward moving forward with a greater sense of clarity.
00:01:38.879 --> 00:01:41.439
So with that, Patrick, welcome so much.
00:01:41.920 --> 00:01:43.439
Welcome to the next baseline.
00:01:43.519 --> 00:01:47.040
I'm so happy to have you here, and I've been excited about this conversation.
00:01:47.439 --> 00:01:49.040
Thank you so much, Jenny, for having me.
00:01:49.120 --> 00:01:51.359
I'm really looking forward to these conversations.
00:01:51.840 --> 00:01:53.439
Yeah, so let's get started.
00:01:53.519 --> 00:01:58.000
Uh, because you you are very accomplished yourself, especially with your booking coming out.
00:01:58.079 --> 00:02:02.640
So I really wanted to turn this over to you just to get the conversation going.
00:02:03.040 --> 00:02:04.799
Where, you know, tell us tell us more.
00:02:04.879 --> 00:02:12.240
I know, I know I I try to pack as much in there in the intro, but I don't think my intro did you any justice whatsoever.
00:02:12.400 --> 00:02:21.599
So with that, let me turn it over to you just to uh go a little deeper and tell us a little bit about yourself, your origin story, your background, uh things that I may have not covered.
00:02:22.000 --> 00:02:28.159
Certainly, I think your intro was bang on and it it really did a good justice, but I'm just gonna expand to it.
00:02:28.240 --> 00:02:35.520
So I was born in India, a family full of teachers, uh including my parents, grandparents, and other relatives.
00:02:35.759 --> 00:02:45.439
Um, age of 18, I came to London to study, and I finished my accounting degree while working in an accountancy course.
00:02:45.599 --> 00:02:47.919
I worked in an Indian restaurant.
00:02:48.159 --> 00:02:53.919
Uh, after finishing my education, I got an accountancy job the next day.
00:02:54.159 --> 00:02:56.639
For I changed three jobs in between.
00:02:56.879 --> 00:03:03.439
When I was in my second job in the year two, I was kind of ready to start my business.
00:03:03.599 --> 00:03:08.159
Um, but for some reasons, which we will explore later, I couldn't start.
00:03:08.400 --> 00:03:12.000
So I continued working for the same company.
00:03:12.159 --> 00:03:14.639
Then I moved on to the third company.
00:03:14.879 --> 00:03:19.520
I worked there for three years, and back off my head, I want to start my business soon.
00:03:19.599 --> 00:03:21.520
That was the thought going on.
00:03:22.560 --> 00:03:33.599
And then seven years, eight years later, uh, in 2017, I was diagnosed with tuberculosis, and I was in bed for three months.
00:03:33.680 --> 00:03:36.960
It was the infection was in my spine, so I couldn't stand.
00:03:37.599 --> 00:03:43.199
And I I literally spent three months in bed and something happened.
00:03:43.520 --> 00:03:47.599
I had this thought what if I passed away?
00:03:49.039 --> 00:03:49.599
Wow.
00:03:49.840 --> 00:03:51.919
So that's powerful.
00:03:52.080 --> 00:04:03.840
And already, as you were describing your situation, I already couldn't help but start thinking because one of the things that I often personally talk about on the next baseline is collapsible life moments.
00:04:04.000 --> 00:04:06.000
Life is built in moments of collapse.
00:04:06.159 --> 00:04:11.120
Really, collapse is nothing but information, but oftentimes are defining moments as well.
00:04:11.439 --> 00:04:27.040
So when I heard you talk about, you know, what if I died and I have this business and I haven't started it, it's almost like your your story would have just it would have been like another book that sat in the grave.
00:04:27.279 --> 00:04:27.680
Yeah.
00:04:28.160 --> 00:04:43.519
One of the quotes I I think I heard from somebody a long time ago is that um there's so much potential that has been left in the grave because they didn't, you know, they did not take those individuals, may have not taken the time to actually do the do the thing that they wanted to do.
00:04:43.680 --> 00:04:45.360
So with that, I hear a lot of that.
00:04:45.519 --> 00:04:55.600
So can you so with that, can you expand like what was that like for you to to say, I haven't started my business.
00:04:55.759 --> 00:04:56.639
What if I died?
00:04:56.720 --> 00:04:58.399
I had these unfinished things.
00:04:58.639 --> 00:05:04.480
What how did that moment, that defining moment, how did that change your life?
00:05:04.959 --> 00:05:11.600
So what I really realized is there were certain aspects of why I couldn't start my business.
00:05:11.920 --> 00:05:15.759
Number one, I was the only bread owner in that in that at that time.
00:05:16.240 --> 00:05:26.879
So if I stopped working in my job and if I start looking for my own clients, I didn't have a regular income to pay my bills.
00:05:27.120 --> 00:05:28.480
So that was number one.
00:05:28.720 --> 00:05:32.720
Number two, my jobs were the salary was decent.
00:05:32.959 --> 00:05:49.199
So if you know, most ordinary guys, or when I say ordinary, is someone who is happy and settled in the job or whatever they are doing, but they are not passionate about doing something big or passionate about doing something huge.
00:05:49.519 --> 00:05:58.079
So if you know the average salary earner guy, you know, if they were getting that level of salary, they wouldn't think of doing the business.
00:05:58.319 --> 00:06:06.319
So everyone around me was kind of against me doing my business because they want it good for me.
00:06:06.560 --> 00:06:06.879
Okay.
00:06:07.279 --> 00:06:22.720
Um, because they their question is if you're earning enough money to pay your bills and have a you know luxury life, which you want, why go to the root of uncertainty whether you have clients or not, whether you'll make it or not?
00:06:23.600 --> 00:06:39.439
And every time I thought of it, including my parents and my partner and everyone, and they all had a logic, but my inner self really wanted to do the business because I could see a lot bigger picture, which I couldn't prove it to them.
00:06:39.600 --> 00:06:44.160
And I didn't understand why they don't understand what I'm trying to say.
00:06:44.399 --> 00:06:49.439
So I was keeping that inside and like, you know, one day that'll happen, one day that'll happen.
00:06:49.680 --> 00:06:57.120
And I was like, if I save six months' worth of expenses aside, I will be able to then take that leap.
00:06:57.360 --> 00:06:59.199
But you know, the life doesn't work like that.
00:06:59.279 --> 00:07:00.319
I could never save that money.
00:07:00.399 --> 00:07:04.720
Because as I said, I was the only bread earner and I I have been a bit of a spender.
00:07:04.879 --> 00:07:10.720
So if I have extra cash, I'll just spend somewhere and experience something with that cash.
00:07:10.959 --> 00:07:12.160
So that didn't happen.
00:07:12.319 --> 00:07:22.399
But when I asked myself this question, the answer was I literally lived through those moments if I died.
00:07:22.560 --> 00:07:26.720
So I actually saw the world, imagine the world without me.
00:07:27.519 --> 00:07:30.879
So if I were to die today, who's gonna pay the bills?
00:07:32.240 --> 00:07:34.560
Who's gonna look after my family?
00:07:35.120 --> 00:07:41.360
Who's gonna you know do everything that I'm supposed to do or I'm I'm actually doing right now?
00:07:42.399 --> 00:07:46.160
And the answer was things get taken care of.
00:07:46.560 --> 00:07:53.199
Yes, that is a struggle, yes, there are hurdles, yes, that is a grief and pain which they will all go through.
00:07:53.439 --> 00:07:57.839
But six months, year, two years, they'll be out of it.
00:07:58.720 --> 00:08:02.639
The life goes on, and after five years, Patik will be forgotten.
00:08:04.399 --> 00:08:08.160
Do I really need to die to live the life the way I want?
00:08:09.519 --> 00:08:10.720
That was the moment.
00:08:11.360 --> 00:08:29.519
You know, that's gosh, that I think that took took me in several directions because in one hand, you know, I I hear you talk about the overall vision, the big, the big picture, what life would have been, would be like essentially without you.
00:08:29.839 --> 00:08:33.200
But then life here with you, you also talk about risk.
00:08:33.360 --> 00:08:39.360
And I think I you know, I often hear that people don't do the things that they want to do because of risk.
00:08:39.440 --> 00:08:44.080
And I'm all about taking chances, but I'm also all about taking calculated risks and chances.
00:08:44.159 --> 00:08:48.960
And you mentioned having about six months of expenses, so I hear there's some calculated risk there.
00:08:49.200 --> 00:08:51.759
So I'm curious, curious to know from you.
00:08:51.919 --> 00:08:55.039
Um, can you build build upon that?
00:08:55.200 --> 00:09:09.919
And and because I think there's there's something in there to peel the onion back a little bit further, because there's folks out there that are paralyzed and absolutely deathly afraid of the unknown and deathly afraid of transition.
00:09:10.159 --> 00:09:15.840
So, can you peel the onion back on that process of risk and how you go about calculating it?
00:09:16.159 --> 00:09:17.279
Certainly, certainly.
00:09:17.360 --> 00:09:19.440
So I think this is what happened.
00:09:19.679 --> 00:09:24.960
So the fears which were holding me back vanished in that moment.
00:09:25.279 --> 00:09:31.200
Because what I realized is that the risks and fears only exist as long as I'm alive.
00:09:31.440 --> 00:09:35.039
And if they go with me, like they don't really come with me.
00:09:35.120 --> 00:09:39.360
I didn't take them with me when I was dead, but they just vanished.
00:09:39.600 --> 00:09:43.440
So they could potentially be vanished, even if I was alive.
00:09:43.519 --> 00:09:46.080
It's just whether I consider them or not.
00:09:46.720 --> 00:09:56.639
And then what happens uh out of nowhere on my Facebook, because I was in bed doing nothing, you know, checking my phones and Facebook that were back in those days, it was relatively new.
00:09:56.799 --> 00:10:02.399
Um, and one of these motivational videos came, uh, one Indian motivational person.
00:10:03.200 --> 00:10:30.559
It was about business, and it literally blew my head because the principles he mentioned, I don't remember exactly what it was, but he was he was really making it so simple that you could really take those steps slowly, slowly, and you can see that things are becoming positive, and you will you without realizing you would go in from negative, you know, negative belief system to positive belief system.
00:10:30.639 --> 00:10:32.720
It was it was conscious effort though.
00:10:32.879 --> 00:10:35.200
And then I watched all his videos in these three months.
00:10:35.360 --> 00:10:38.960
Obviously, I couldn't do anything, I was just building my mindset.
00:10:39.279 --> 00:10:53.919
So I think one of the good things which happened, which I'm realizing now, is that the fact that I was in bed couldn't do nothing, it allowed me to absorb as much positive thinking or positive discussion while I was in bed.
00:10:54.159 --> 00:11:05.360
If it was a normal day, I would be so busy with work and everything, and I wouldn't really be able to focus into the subject, but I was allowed to because the universe had put me in that situation.
00:11:05.919 --> 00:11:08.720
So what happened is I handed in my notice.
00:11:09.440 --> 00:11:17.840
And the next day, when I had this realization and all the, you know, the brainstorming with myself, I had it in my notice.
00:11:18.000 --> 00:11:23.519
I had three months' notice period, and I couldn't go and you know, find another job.
00:11:23.759 --> 00:11:31.679
But in this new job, what I thought is I'm gonna be upfront about I want to start my own business, uh, but I'm not gonna be rival to you.
00:11:31.759 --> 00:11:34.559
I want to take your clients or whatever that may be.
00:11:34.799 --> 00:11:37.919
And I I found another job as a consultant.
00:11:38.000 --> 00:11:40.879
So legally, I'm entitled to take other clients.
00:11:41.120 --> 00:11:44.480
And I worked there for about a year, year and a half.
00:11:44.720 --> 00:11:47.200
By then I started building my client base.
00:11:47.600 --> 00:11:59.039
And when I hit 50% of my monthly income with my business, I quit my job and I took that leap of faith.
00:11:59.279 --> 00:12:05.279
And yes, I had three months of struggle financially, but I had help from people.
00:12:05.440 --> 00:12:13.919
Yes, I downgraded my house from four-day, you know, four-bedroom to two-bed flat to drop my expenses.
00:12:14.320 --> 00:12:22.399
But after that, in three to four months, my monthly income was almost three and a half times the salary.
00:12:23.039 --> 00:12:32.240
So within six months, I was actually able to pay everything that I didn't pay or whatever were the hurdles, and I was out of it.
00:12:32.559 --> 00:12:36.879
And I was only working one day a week instead of five days a week.
00:12:37.600 --> 00:12:38.080
Wow.
00:12:38.240 --> 00:12:39.759
So, you know, it's crazy.
00:12:40.000 --> 00:12:49.120
Um I almost feel like you you you provided like a blueprint for those that are looking to do some, you know, something significant.
00:12:49.759 --> 00:13:01.600
Like I think a lot of us, especially those entrepreneurs, those maybe whether there's folks out there that are wanting to do a podcast, wanting to write a book, wanting to work on maybe some new invention, new project, and the list can go on.
00:13:01.759 --> 00:13:04.399
Um, there's some real struggle that that ends up happening.
00:13:04.480 --> 00:13:06.960
And I think there's a lot of uncomfort.
00:13:07.120 --> 00:13:14.960
And you talk a lot about not being comfortable, or really you were being becoming comfortable with the uncomfortable.
00:13:15.039 --> 00:13:17.600
And I think as human beings, we often avoid pain.
00:13:17.840 --> 00:13:24.799
But sometimes to pursue our dreams, there's going to be some pain involved, and it's not going to be some easy process to get through.
00:13:24.960 --> 00:13:38.799
But the other thing I wanted to hone in on, especially as we're talking about awareness, you know, you mentioned, you mentioned when you're in the hospital bed and you didn't have a choice but essentially to just be there.
00:13:38.960 --> 00:13:41.200
But it it quelled down the noise.
00:13:41.360 --> 00:13:43.120
The noise started dying down.
00:13:43.200 --> 00:13:46.879
And one of the things I often talk about, and not just myself, there's other people that talk about this.
00:13:47.120 --> 00:13:51.440
The best ideas don't happen in the noise, it happens in the quiet.
00:13:51.679 --> 00:13:56.000
So for you, what what is that process where why quiet?
00:13:56.159 --> 00:13:59.120
Why why that time to be with yourself?
00:13:59.279 --> 00:14:11.360
And we can talk about meditation, we don't have to get into spiritual things or anything like that, but there's a power, whether it's in the quiet or meditation, just pick your pick, just to sit there with yourself.
00:14:13.200 --> 00:14:21.360
I feel what we what we receive externally, it's it's actually happening in our conscious mind.
00:14:21.600 --> 00:14:26.720
So when we are in quiet, we are actually in a relaxed state.
00:14:27.519 --> 00:14:34.960
And when we are in a relaxed state, our brain frequency uh drops to theta state, which everyone talks about.
00:14:36.159 --> 00:15:00.320
So when we are in a theta state, I think what happens is our mind and our intellect can have a one-on-one conversations because the mind is is is the uh what do you call it, the it it has million things in it, but the intellect is the karma, it has all the risk analysis and all of it.
00:15:00.480 --> 00:15:07.200
So you might want to you know jump off the aeroplane, the mind would do it, but the intellect will stop you.
00:15:07.360 --> 00:15:10.240
And that the intellect is actually our inner voice.
00:15:10.480 --> 00:15:32.559
So when you are quiet, the the mind and intellect starts resonating more, so they they they can evolve, I think they can communicate better because when we are in public, our mind is externally you know focused, so it's looking at what the other one is saying, and the intellect is just there, observing everything.
00:15:32.799 --> 00:15:38.559
But you don't really have time to feel your own self, so to speak.
00:15:38.799 --> 00:15:54.080
So I think those three months which I spent with myself, A, I had no one to tell me anything which wouldn't support my the transformation of my from negative thinking to positive thinking, which was really good.
00:15:54.320 --> 00:15:59.360
I wasn't meeting anybody, or I was not that deliberately, but it was just the time.
00:15:59.600 --> 00:16:03.519
And you know, normally we used to meet friends every week and others.
00:16:03.600 --> 00:16:09.039
Um, and I used to just be keep quiet, and they would think that yes, I'm not well, so I'm quiet.
00:16:09.120 --> 00:16:14.879
But in in inside my head, I was just echoing everything that I've been listening to.
00:16:15.120 --> 00:16:20.240
I didn't know about the law of attraction back in those days, I didn't know how quantum mechanics worked.
00:16:20.320 --> 00:16:24.960
I I knew nothing, uh, but just the motivational speaking.
00:16:25.200 --> 00:16:29.679
And I figured out later that what I was listening to was a motivational talk.
00:16:29.840 --> 00:16:33.039
I just thought somebody sharing their experience, which was the truth.
00:16:33.200 --> 00:16:45.679
But how I think I had one mindset that if I see something or learn something, something will tell me from within what is that I can experience, what is that I can apply?
00:16:45.919 --> 00:16:59.519
And that's probably one of the reasons I was a really good consultant, because when I learn a rule or learn a principle, my next process is how many clients I can apply this to and how they can benefit.
00:16:59.679 --> 00:17:04.400
And my brain will pull out a list of clients that these are the ones I need to approach.
00:17:04.559 --> 00:17:07.279
And I think that really helped me with my personal growth.
00:17:07.359 --> 00:17:12.480
So if I learn a strategy or a trick, the very first thing I will do is experiment it.
00:17:12.640 --> 00:17:24.559
So I was doing it, and you know, it was it became very easy to overcome fear and the challenges and the uncertainty because I literally lived my death in my head.
00:17:24.960 --> 00:17:27.200
So, what worse can happen?
00:17:27.279 --> 00:17:41.519
And if you think it through all the way in your head, so you know that you're not really going through that, but imagining that will actually clarify a lot of things, and you will feel, oh, there is nothing to feel fearful about.
00:17:41.759 --> 00:17:43.680
What worse can happen?
00:17:43.920 --> 00:17:49.599
You know, even today, if I feel if everything that I'm doing it collapses, what worse can happen?
00:17:50.000 --> 00:17:50.559
Nothing.
00:17:50.720 --> 00:17:54.480
I might not be able to pay my rent, my landlord would kick me out.
00:17:54.640 --> 00:18:01.279
Um, I can get a shelter somewhere, I can at least do something, some physical work to do my you know, living.
00:18:01.839 --> 00:18:08.880
Because I don't have fear of people judging me, I don't have fear of people criticizing me, I have no fear left now.
00:18:09.279 --> 00:18:20.240
So the the only way to overcome fear is actually just think it through what worse can happen and go to the extreme level, and you'll be like, that's doable.
00:18:21.599 --> 00:18:35.200
You know, I am trying so hard to build this crescendo for this podcast, and I feel like the you know, the topics that you're covering is making it so difficult to just diving into your work.
00:18:35.680 --> 00:18:58.400
Because, you know, one of the things I hear you talk about almost is, and you could, you know, tell me if I'm right or wrong here, but is like the sense that the ego is is dead or the ego has taken a back back seat because oftentimes what stops us more often than not, I think sometimes, is that sense of self, otherwise known as ego.
00:18:58.480 --> 00:19:01.920
And I don't think ego is bad, and ego is here to protect us.
00:19:02.160 --> 00:19:08.720
And you know, we we we need the ego, but the ego can't always be in the driver's seat.
00:19:09.039 --> 00:19:25.200
So, with that, you know, I I feel like we should get deep, you know, deeper dive into your mindset, where um, you know, where you know, talk more about Drasty, your business, how to get to so really like dive in that part of it.
00:19:25.519 --> 00:19:29.680
Yeah, I think this was the main the struggle element, okay.
00:19:29.839 --> 00:19:43.279
Um, and if I then literally just summarize in like a fast forward thing, uh from motivation, I went to some spiritual, so I was initiated by Sadhguru, I listened to all his videos.
00:19:43.519 --> 00:19:57.119
Although, in reality, once I got initiated, the practices I was told to do every single day, I could only do it for one day, and then I couldn't sustain that because I had already a busy routine and I couldn't do it.
00:19:57.359 --> 00:20:00.480
Then I a few years later I went to Kriya Yoga.
00:20:00.640 --> 00:20:10.640
I, you know, I became a student, I finished everything a student is expected to, and then I got initiated by I did it for four months and then I withdrew from it.
00:20:10.799 --> 00:20:27.920
But in between, I came across the secret movie and the secret book, the law of attraction, and on YouTube there are millions of different people teaching law of attraction and the tiny bits of the main parts of law of attraction, and I practiced every single thing.
00:20:28.160 --> 00:20:46.240
I then went to Peru and did some psychedelic experiences and um which was really Was it ayahuasca that uh I was supposed to do ayahuasca and San Pedro, and but the shaman said they have to do a reading.
00:20:46.319 --> 00:20:48.640
If ayahuasca accepts me, I can do it.
00:20:48.720 --> 00:20:50.319
If it doesn't, I can't.
00:20:50.559 --> 00:20:54.640
So obviously ayahuasca rejected me, but San Pedro accepted me.
00:20:54.799 --> 00:21:02.640
So I had two doses of that over two weeks, um, which was an incredible experience, um, but I didn't know what that meant.
00:21:02.799 --> 00:21:07.119
And it took me a while to integrate with that, and now I know what it meant.
00:21:07.440 --> 00:21:13.839
And then I came across um rapid transformational therapy, the hypnotherapy by Marissa Pier.
00:21:14.799 --> 00:21:20.160
And that was one of the biggest transformations for me.
00:21:20.880 --> 00:21:41.759
And I think a lot of things I was experiencing and I was living and I was doing and I was shifting um the books I read, like Think and Grow Rich and every positive mindset book, every personal development book I read, I knew that this can change logically, but it wasn't really changing.
00:21:42.240 --> 00:21:51.759
But when I did hypnotherapy, I actually learned the actual process of how our brain or mind gets conditioned.
00:21:52.160 --> 00:21:58.240
And due to that conditioned, we experience certain emotions and how we can change it.
00:21:58.400 --> 00:21:59.759
And I was hypnotizing people.
00:22:00.240 --> 00:22:11.119
On self-doubt or anger and fear, not having a partner or not receiving love or not feeling enough, weight loss, etc.
00:22:11.599 --> 00:22:30.960
And what I discovered, there was something very common in everything that everyone who was experiencing negative emotions or not happy with their life, the reason was they were conditioned to experience it that way.
00:22:31.519 --> 00:22:34.319
And what I was doing is I was interrupting those patterns.
00:22:34.960 --> 00:22:35.839
They are techniques.
00:22:36.000 --> 00:22:52.960
So you follow those steps and you interrupt those patterns, and the client, you guide them with the instructions, and they're able to remove those beliefs and plant positive beliefs with you know, meaning positive affirmations about themselves or how they really want to experience life.
00:22:53.119 --> 00:23:07.359
And then we give them a recording which they listen for 30 days, and everyone gave me feedback saying this is life-changing, just one session, like normal hypnotherapy, you have to take once a week or once a month for six months, twelve months.
00:23:07.519 --> 00:23:11.039
This one, just one session, and it's the problem's over.
00:23:11.279 --> 00:23:13.440
So it was really, really powerful.
00:23:13.759 --> 00:23:24.000
And I wanted to kind of write a book about perception, like how we perceive life, because from our negative beliefs and negative conditioning, and we can change it.
00:23:24.240 --> 00:23:34.720
In the process of writing the book, I was meditating and I was thinking about the chapters and flows and everything, like a self-critic in the middle of the book.
00:23:34.799 --> 00:23:46.720
And I had this idea or a question, so to speak, that we are experiencing life negatively because we are conditioned that way.
00:23:47.359 --> 00:23:56.319
And what we are really doing as a therapy is changing that negative conditioning to positive conditioning to experience life positively.
00:23:57.359 --> 00:24:00.880
But what are we if we had no conditioning?
00:24:02.640 --> 00:24:18.480
Because if something yeah, and that moment I felt something which was identical to what I experienced in my San Pedro session, but I couldn't name it at that time, it happened later on.
00:24:19.200 --> 00:24:20.960
It was complete blank.
00:24:21.200 --> 00:24:30.400
Because what I realized is through the conditioning, I created my identity, it was my conditioned identity.
00:24:30.480 --> 00:24:31.680
This is pratique.
00:24:31.759 --> 00:24:48.400
He's an accountant, he's a kind person, he gives a lot of care and concern and love to people because he wants to receive all this programming, took an identity which was me, and I existed through that identity.
00:24:48.640 --> 00:24:53.440
And when I went to this state of blankness, it was breathtaking.
00:24:54.160 --> 00:24:55.359
I was scared.
00:25:03.119 --> 00:25:04.480
Where do I belong?
00:25:04.640 --> 00:25:08.640
What about these family members and everything which I feel I'm so much connected?
00:25:08.880 --> 00:25:10.799
But they are all learned relations.
00:25:11.200 --> 00:25:18.880
So everything which I believe to be real collapsed in that moment, which was really, really difficult moment for me.
00:25:26.480 --> 00:25:29.440
And it wasn't, it was not through a psychedelic.
00:25:29.519 --> 00:25:30.400
It was several weeks ago.
00:25:30.480 --> 00:25:32.240
I had a very lucid dream.
00:25:32.400 --> 00:25:37.920
In fact, in a previous, in another podcast inter uh interview that I had, we talked a little bit about this.
00:25:38.079 --> 00:25:45.440
But I ended up, and I thought I was going crazy, and so I go, you know, Googled it like a couple days later, but I ended up in this place that I call the void.
00:25:45.519 --> 00:25:48.319
And it was this place just stripped of nothing.
00:25:48.480 --> 00:25:50.720
You were everything and nothing all at the same time.
00:25:50.799 --> 00:25:57.519
You but you weren't, I forgot my name, I forgot that you know this existence of Earth existed, and all that.
00:25:57.759 --> 00:26:05.119
And what I clearly remember is there was this freedom when I wasn't just tied to who Danny was.
00:26:05.279 --> 00:26:10.000
And then after I came out of that dream, you know, there's this process of integration trying to.
00:26:10.079 --> 00:26:14.240
I I think I drove myself crazy for about a good week trying to research all this.
00:26:14.319 --> 00:26:36.160
So so I'm I'm very intrigued in terms of what this psychedelic experience was for you because to me, there seems to be very close ties to to how I experienced whether it's God, the universe, higher consciousness, and for me it was through very much so lucid dream, but the the elements here are very, very similar.
00:26:36.480 --> 00:26:39.039
Yeah, I feel it's quite identical.
00:26:39.359 --> 00:26:51.599
So in my very first dose, uh on the day one, uh we were four people, and other three were returned to normal consciousness in four hours.
00:26:52.799 --> 00:26:55.920
I came back after 19 hours.
00:26:56.880 --> 00:27:03.039
The shaman was scared that I'm I'm not gonna make it back, that he was so sure, he was literally scared.
00:27:03.440 --> 00:28:07.519
And basically, what I saw was complete darkness, it was nothing there, and what I felt that his entire nothing is me, and I was trying to make sense of what it is, but it feels like this is me, but I can't really be sure about it, but it feels me, and then far away there was one tiny light, very little, and when I started staring at it, it came close to me, and I was trying to figure out what it is, but then you intuitively get the answers what it is, or maybe there are whispers, and what it saw me is the complete observable physical universe for that tiny dog compared to this complete darkness, which was the nothingness, and it also said that it was created.
00:28:08.319 --> 00:28:15.279
I mean, this is a metaphoric, and I think I'm gonna talk about why I felt it that way later on.
00:28:15.680 --> 00:28:32.640
Is you know, Krishna, Lord Krishna, which is you know very popular in eastern scriptures, he played his flute, and the waves from that flute was the initiation of creating the physical world.
00:28:32.720 --> 00:28:37.119
This is what I saw, and I it made sense.
00:28:37.440 --> 00:28:51.680
And then four or five days later, I had another dose of San Pedro, and what I saw this time I was in the physical world, but all I could see is vibration.
00:28:51.759 --> 00:28:57.359
You know, the olden time TV when there is no channel or nothing coming, they're like black and white dots go.
00:28:57.440 --> 00:28:58.880
I don't know what they are called.
00:28:59.200 --> 00:29:02.559
Um, no, I don't know what they're called here, but I'm familiar with what you're talking about.
00:29:02.880 --> 00:29:04.240
You know what you mean, what I mean.
00:29:04.400 --> 00:29:10.640
So I could feel that, but then say the white is positive and red is negative.
00:29:10.799 --> 00:29:14.240
Oh, sorry, black is negative and white is positive.
00:29:14.480 --> 00:29:18.000
And what I could see is I could make a shape.
00:29:18.160 --> 00:29:24.319
So what it was really showing that what I see in real, they're literally those waves, the vibrations.
00:29:24.880 --> 00:29:32.559
So I'm a person, I can see as a vibration, the other person is a vibration, the space between is also a vibration.
00:29:32.880 --> 00:29:46.000
When I'm saying something to the other person, whatever is the message, it's the vibrations were coming out of my mouth, the other person was listening, so it's entering in into that person's system.
00:29:46.400 --> 00:29:50.880
And depending on what I said, the person's vibration shifted.
00:29:51.200 --> 00:30:00.880
What that meant is if I correct a joke and that person received that humor and he was laughing, so he wasn't laughing before, it was a different frequency, and now he's laughing.
00:30:00.960 --> 00:30:12.559
So I from my vibration, I released certain, so the the vibrations interacted with another person's vibrations, and that created impact, and everything was vibration.
00:30:12.960 --> 00:30:15.039
And it's white noise, you just reminded me.
00:30:15.119 --> 00:30:17.359
So it's the white, so so got it.
00:30:17.440 --> 00:30:20.640
So you're seeing everyone in terms of like white noise.
00:30:20.880 --> 00:30:22.240
Yeah, yeah.
00:30:22.480 --> 00:30:27.359
So then I realized that what I saw as a darkness was me.
00:30:28.720 --> 00:30:38.799
But I don't teach that into the method because I haven't learned to attain that state without any substance or anything like that.
00:30:39.039 --> 00:30:47.680
But what I did feel that that state when I was doing the meditation was similar to that.
00:30:48.480 --> 00:30:55.519
Is a state, it's not physical, it doesn't have any emotions, it doesn't have any words, it doesn't have any thought in it.
00:30:55.839 --> 00:30:57.359
It cannot be explained.
00:30:57.759 --> 00:30:58.960
It was that state.
00:30:59.519 --> 00:31:07.440
And what I saw is that I can feel, I can consciously see what my mind is thinking.
00:31:08.480 --> 00:31:18.799
That mind, the thought then creates that created the vibration which was learnt as part of conditioning.
00:31:19.039 --> 00:31:31.119
So, like if the thought is anger, it creates the vibration of anger, it then gives me the emotional experience of anger, and then I'm shouting out that's my physical reaction.
00:31:31.359 --> 00:31:32.799
So that was a loop.
00:31:34.079 --> 00:31:40.720
But what I saw is I with this state, I went into my childhood when I was one month old.
00:31:40.960 --> 00:31:50.960
I saw that the state was there, and I didn't understand a word, I couldn't speak anything, but I knew I was there, the state was there.
00:31:51.519 --> 00:31:59.359
Then I went to some happy moments of my life, and I saw this part was there, the state was there.
00:31:59.599 --> 00:32:05.359
It wasn't happy, it was experiencing or watching me experience the happiness.
00:32:05.599 --> 00:32:12.640
Then I went to some of my difficult times, some of my sad moments, and this part was there unaffected.
00:32:13.279 --> 00:32:18.000
He was watching me, experiencing the worries, experiencing the sadness.
00:32:18.640 --> 00:32:31.359
And what I realized is the conditioning was purely for us to experience life, but somehow we took that conditioning as identity, what we call ego.
00:32:31.920 --> 00:32:36.240
And we do everything to survive, you know, to keep the ego safe.
00:32:36.480 --> 00:32:47.039
So everything we expect, everything we feel disappointed for, and our coping mechanism to overcome those disappointments are all product of conditioning.
00:32:47.680 --> 00:32:52.880
But the real self has got nothing to do with any of that, it only calls it experience.
00:32:53.039 --> 00:32:58.079
There is no good and bad, there is no failure or success, there is no happiness, there is no sadness.
00:32:58.160 --> 00:33:00.000
They're all different experiences.
00:33:00.319 --> 00:33:06.319
So I started delabeling the experiences, which literally changed everything.
00:33:06.480 --> 00:33:12.559
So the ending of the book became something very different to what I initially thought.
00:33:12.799 --> 00:33:18.799
So now the book takes you to the real me and see the life from the real me.
00:33:19.359 --> 00:33:40.720
So yeah, so no, I just had a I just had a question just based off of that, because uh, you know, and and I don't disagree with anything that you're saying because I've had lots of experiences that that'll definitely much so line, especially during my listed dream at the time when when I, you know, the moment I was in the void, uh, you know, I could see and understand 100% everything you're saying.
00:33:40.960 --> 00:33:56.559
But I don't think the world, you know, if someone, you know, if a new individual that's coming across us like fully understands that because we live in a very polarized world, it's either it's either black or white, it's either a good or a bad, um, you know, you're hurting people's a real feeling.
00:33:56.640 --> 00:34:24.239
So, Bratrick, from your perspective, how how can we see the world from a different lens just with this knowledge to say, yeah, negative things happen, but how can we use that to progress forward or or to live at a higher state than what we may have, whether through anger um or any other type of emotions that are are uncomfortable.
00:34:24.880 --> 00:34:33.840
So I think the very simple thing which I learned, and if everyone asks me, what is that one thing we can do today, I recommend this.
00:34:34.559 --> 00:34:40.000
First of all, be honest with yourself and accept what you're feeling.
00:34:40.480 --> 00:34:42.559
That's the simplest formula.
00:34:43.199 --> 00:34:55.679
So if I'm if I'm used to getting angry, which I don't like, so what happens is every time I'm angry, I feel more sad or I feel guilt.
00:34:56.400 --> 00:35:03.039
So if I be the only reason I felt guilt is because I didn't accept that I'm getting angry.
00:35:03.199 --> 00:35:06.719
So once you accept, you only have one emotion to deal with.
00:35:06.880 --> 00:35:09.599
If you don't accept, you have two emotions to deal with.
00:35:09.760 --> 00:35:11.599
So the very first thing is accept.
00:35:11.760 --> 00:35:18.639
The second thing is ask yourself, why did you really have to get angry?
00:35:20.159 --> 00:35:23.599
And see, we learn, I've I've I've heard this many times.
00:35:23.760 --> 00:35:25.760
Take a pause, right?
00:35:26.320 --> 00:35:33.840
But in reality, you don't remember to take a pause because you just act it out, and then you remember that oh, I had to take a pause.
00:35:34.159 --> 00:35:38.400
I know why that happens, uh, which we will talk about it later.
00:35:38.639 --> 00:35:50.159
But even if you couldn't take pause, when you're reflecting, just revisit that event and find out, ask yourself a question, what exactly triggered the anger?
00:35:50.320 --> 00:36:01.280
Because then you have enough time to analyze that event, and you will learn something that actually you could have avoided the anger.
00:36:02.239 --> 00:36:13.920
So when you are doing it next time, maybe there is a little pause you won't notice, but if you keep analyzing those experiences, you will actually start getting more clarity.
00:36:14.960 --> 00:36:25.679
And when you know what the conditioning is and how conditioning works, the result of that analysis is a lot deeper, it's more profound.
00:36:25.920 --> 00:36:36.320
So instead of you doing 10 analyses, now with just once or twice, you'll be able to identify, oh my god, this is something I learned.
00:36:36.639 --> 00:36:42.480
And when you realize from deeper self that this is something you learned, it's easy to let go of it.
00:36:42.639 --> 00:36:50.880
It's like you see a magic trick and you're fascinated by it, you love it because you cannot figure out how it's been done.
00:36:51.360 --> 00:36:56.079
But then an hour later, the magician shows how he does it, and now you know the trick.
00:36:56.320 --> 00:37:03.599
And because you know this is the trick, and hence you thought it was magic, is no longer magic, it doesn't give you the same excitement.
00:37:03.920 --> 00:37:14.880
So you get angry, and when you learn how you got angry, the anger loses its power because now you can choose not to get angry, you can easily reprogram it.
00:37:15.840 --> 00:37:22.480
So, so so, real quick, so with respect to barriers, because I mean there's there's a lot of great things.
00:37:22.639 --> 00:37:35.360
There's even things like when I've gone through even my own personal rounds of like therapy type sessions, you know, they all a lot of them recommend doing, I would say, bits and pieces of that, probably not all of it at once.
00:37:35.519 --> 00:37:37.679
And but anyways, I digress.
00:37:37.840 --> 00:37:48.480
So, but I think there's you know, sometimes I I think people are not used to that process, so there's barriers to get to get to everything that we're talking about here.
00:37:48.800 --> 00:38:03.599
So, what what would you tell folks out there in terms of to get to that point where they can even just have a conversation with themselves and you know, just confronting the truth for what it is and confronting reality.
00:38:03.840 --> 00:38:15.280
What what would you have to say to those individuals that just to get started onto that, um, how can they navigate their own personal barriers, if that makes sense?
00:38:15.599 --> 00:38:16.320
It does.
00:38:16.559 --> 00:38:20.400
I think there are two things which we need to look at.
00:38:20.639 --> 00:38:23.679
Number one, I mean, I'll give an example.
00:38:23.760 --> 00:38:36.480
I have so many friends, and when they get to know about this hypnotherapy and things like that, they say, Oh, you must hypnotize my partner, or you must hypnotize so and so person, which are keen to them.
00:38:36.800 --> 00:38:45.039
And I tell them one thing that unless the person wants to change something within, no therapy would work.
00:38:45.280 --> 00:38:52.960
It's quite similar to, you know, the lion is a king of the jungle, but he would only go out if he's hungry.
00:38:53.119 --> 00:38:55.039
If he's not hungry, he wouldn't go.
00:38:55.199 --> 00:39:09.440
And what I mean by that is if an individual is accepting to himself that I do get this anger and I don't like it, and I want to work on it, the first important barrier is already gone.
00:39:10.000 --> 00:39:18.320
And then the steps, a process starts for them to discover and learn about how they first learn to get angry.
00:39:18.639 --> 00:39:23.840
Because in my experience, I never got angry, but I used to be upset.
00:39:24.159 --> 00:39:28.400
I would be feeling very sad because of the situation.
00:39:29.039 --> 00:39:42.400
And there is a process why some people learn to react out the unpleasant situation with anger, and some people choose to react with just keep it inside and don't let it out.
00:39:42.639 --> 00:39:50.159
Again, it goes back to the you know foundation of safety, you know, flight or fight kind of scenario.
00:39:50.559 --> 00:40:04.480
Um, but if they are willing to change themselves, I think you know, five minutes to analyze a moment when you are angry, you could be doing it, you know, you could do that while you're driving.
00:40:04.639 --> 00:40:06.480
You could do that when you are the traffic signal.
00:40:06.639 --> 00:40:09.599
You can even, when you're in a toilet, you can think about it, right?
00:40:09.760 --> 00:40:14.159
You don't need to be in a meditative state, wake up at 4 a.m., you know, and do it.
00:40:14.320 --> 00:40:15.920
No, you can do it anytime.
00:40:16.079 --> 00:40:18.000
Even two minutes, three minutes.
00:40:18.159 --> 00:40:20.079
Just think what just happened.
00:40:20.239 --> 00:40:25.360
You know, like when we watch sports and there is a moment when nobody, the empire cannot like cricket.
00:40:25.760 --> 00:40:33.280
They do third empire and they go an action replay and they they see the cameras and see whether the ball hit the stump or not.
00:40:33.599 --> 00:40:35.440
That's exactly what we are doing.
00:40:35.760 --> 00:40:39.519
What exactly trigger me to get my anger out?
00:40:39.760 --> 00:40:42.880
Or if it's fear, what exactly I'm fearful about?
00:40:43.280 --> 00:40:52.000
So when you ask yourself that question, whatever comes out, be honest and own it because it's yours.
00:40:52.400 --> 00:40:56.800
Because when you own it, the next layer opens up automatic.
00:40:57.280 --> 00:41:01.760
And then you go the next question: where did that come from?
00:41:02.079 --> 00:41:06.159
What else could I have done if I didn't want to get angry?
00:41:06.480 --> 00:41:08.880
And it will just give you answers.
00:41:09.360 --> 00:41:15.519
We might find ways how to get answers externally, but the answers are always within us.
00:41:17.199 --> 00:41:27.519
No, and that's uh that's an interesting perspective because you know you hear a lot in the coaching community, uh, for example, that you're not necessarily giving giving a client or an individual the answer.
00:41:27.679 --> 00:41:32.559
And coaching is about essentially how to get those answers out of the out of the person.
00:41:32.960 --> 00:41:42.480
Um, and so I you know, I I see uh I see some some resemblance to to that, um, but you definitely go much deeper into that.
00:41:42.639 --> 00:41:45.440
And I think this is a good segue to get into Drasti.
00:41:45.760 --> 00:41:50.480
And I'm curious, how did you come up with that, with that name Drasti?
00:41:50.559 --> 00:41:51.599
Where did it come from?
00:41:51.760 --> 00:41:54.639
And then tell us more about the Drasti uh method.
00:41:54.800 --> 00:42:03.920
I assume that we've gotten to bits and pieces and we definitely talked about it, but now I just want to be a little bit more deliberate in and having that conversation.
00:42:04.320 --> 00:42:05.119
Sure, sure.
00:42:05.280 --> 00:42:10.239
So Drasti is a Sanskrit word, and what it means is perception.
00:42:10.800 --> 00:42:13.519
It's actually deeper than perception.
00:42:13.840 --> 00:42:20.559
So if I give an example, we can see the world or a city where we are in from the ground level.
00:42:20.800 --> 00:42:24.880
And if there is a mountain or something, you can go on top of it and see the same town.
00:42:24.960 --> 00:42:26.960
It would look different, right?
00:42:27.519 --> 00:42:33.679
So when we see life from conditioned self, our life experiences is different.
00:42:33.920 --> 00:42:42.000
And when we shift the drasti from the conditioned self to the real self, the life experience is different.
00:42:42.239 --> 00:42:48.480
So drasti literally represents the shift from the conditioned self to the real self.
00:42:48.639 --> 00:42:50.239
It's as simple as that.
00:42:50.639 --> 00:43:08.960
The Drasti method is actually an immersive experience, which is a combination of every technique that I learned and that worked, which can allow people to not waste so much time into trying different things.
00:43:09.360 --> 00:43:16.719
And I'll ex I'll explain why not everything, because I tried it, I spent 14 years trying different things, and that's what works.
00:43:17.039 --> 00:43:20.320
Yeah, tell us about that because here's the thing, right?
00:43:20.400 --> 00:43:25.599
Uh, you you you're essentially an expert here, and I think it's there's something very, very powerful.
00:43:25.840 --> 00:43:31.599
In fact, you you found the multiple different ways, and you came back to to live the tell the tale.
00:43:31.679 --> 00:43:34.000
And so absolutely I want to make sure, yeah.
00:43:34.159 --> 00:43:41.119
I want to make sure that people understand, like super understand that you know kitty know what you're talking about, and you're sharing some deep deep knowledge here.
00:43:41.280 --> 00:43:41.760
Sorry about that.
00:43:41.920 --> 00:43:42.400
Just wanted to see.
00:43:42.719 --> 00:43:44.079
Yeah, that's that's perfectly fine.
00:43:44.320 --> 00:43:55.440
So I created a drusting method where people not only identify or learn something, and I say, do not believe me, only experience it for yourself.
00:43:55.599 --> 00:43:56.880
I'm gonna guide you.
00:43:57.039 --> 00:43:59.760
Because once it becomes your experience, you don't need me.
00:44:00.239 --> 00:44:03.679
Validate, or you don't need anybody to validate because that's your own experience.
00:44:03.920 --> 00:44:06.880
It's like I give you a chili to try and you take a bite.
00:44:06.960 --> 00:44:09.840
You don't need me to tell you how spicy it is because you know it.
00:44:10.079 --> 00:44:12.159
And that's exactly what happens.
00:44:12.480 --> 00:44:20.480
So if I give a little small perspective on what really happens, so we live life from conditioned self.
00:44:20.559 --> 00:44:29.039
And when you go and see all the key emotions in your childhood, how you learnt it, that's your experience of trying that chili.
00:44:29.119 --> 00:44:31.039
Like, okay, this is how I learned it.
00:44:31.360 --> 00:44:34.480
The second thing is I would I would give a small example.
00:44:34.639 --> 00:44:48.559
If you were asked to stand on a busy street for 10 minutes and count how many red cars passes by in each direction, you would do that exercise and come back and say, pratique, there were 14 cars, 14 red cars.
00:44:48.880 --> 00:44:56.079
And then I would ask how many white cars, how many gray cars, how many black cars, and you know you don't know because you're only focusing on red cars.
00:44:56.480 --> 00:45:04.800
So the red car was your experience, and the instruction that were given to you to look at the red car is actually our nervous system.
00:45:05.039 --> 00:45:12.320
The state, our inner state, gives instruction to our five senses what to perceive.
00:45:13.519 --> 00:45:19.840
Now, conditioning creates lackiness because once you study, you get a good job.
00:45:20.000 --> 00:45:22.239
Once you get a good job, you get more money.
00:45:22.400 --> 00:45:25.199
When you earn more money, you want even more money.
00:45:25.360 --> 00:45:29.679
You need to be successful, you want love and relationship, your partner completes you.
00:45:29.840 --> 00:45:37.599
All these things, until that happens, gives you a sense of lack, the feeling of lack, and your nervous system is trained with lack.
00:45:37.840 --> 00:45:42.960
So no matter how much you receive, you're always gonna feel lack because that's your red car.
00:45:43.440 --> 00:45:55.760
So when you look at the gratitude practice, what it's doing is asking you to write down the white cars, the black cars, and silver car, which means you write down everything that you have and you're grateful for.
00:45:55.920 --> 00:46:03.440
So that's a shift, that's a very small, very like 0.01% shift from the lack to what you have.
00:46:03.840 --> 00:46:06.960
And trust me, if you do that every day, it feels amazing.
00:46:07.119 --> 00:46:15.599
If you skip it for a week, you're back to square one because it's a conscious effort, the actions come from subconscious, right?
00:46:15.840 --> 00:46:18.079
Now, how do we change the nervous system?
00:46:18.239 --> 00:46:21.519
Now, without understanding the mechanism, we can't really change it.
00:46:21.679 --> 00:46:28.079
You know, if you if you buy an electric gadget and there are lots of buttons and you don't know how that works, what you do is look at the user manual.
00:46:28.320 --> 00:46:31.679
Unfortunately, we don't have one, so we need to identify.
00:46:31.840 --> 00:46:39.440
And thanks to the time we are born, a lot of things are already there for us to see something, read something, but that's not enough.
00:46:39.519 --> 00:46:40.800
We need to experience it.
00:46:41.039 --> 00:46:44.239
Because if the manual says press the red button, it will turn it on.
00:46:44.400 --> 00:46:47.440
We press it, and if it works, then only we accept it.
00:46:47.599 --> 00:46:49.840
If it doesn't, then we say the manual is wrong.
00:46:49.920 --> 00:46:52.159
So this is the proven technique.
00:46:52.960 --> 00:47:02.719
So we need we understand that we learned to experience everything that we experienced from our childhood, and it got divided into four layers.
00:47:02.880 --> 00:47:08.320
One is a thought, one is a vibration, one is the emotion, and the physical action.
00:47:08.559 --> 00:47:12.239
These four things are creating a state of nervous system.
00:47:12.400 --> 00:47:20.960
Now, the thought we can observe and the physical action we can observe, everything else is intangible, they're not in our conscious experience.
00:47:21.199 --> 00:47:32.239
So, what is not in our conscious experience represents the majority of the value that's our unconscious, where we are aware our awareness isn't there.
00:47:33.920 --> 00:47:41.599
And if you want to change something permanently, you got to leave new imprint in all four.
00:47:42.159 --> 00:47:55.360
And most programs outside, which are personal development or personal growth or whatever we name it, they work either one or two of these, and most of them are focused on conscious, which works.
00:47:55.440 --> 00:47:58.000
I'm not saying they wouldn't work, but they would take a lot of time.
00:47:58.079 --> 00:48:03.599
It's like instead of watering the plant to the root, you sprinkle water on the leaves.
00:48:04.239 --> 00:48:10.559
That's how long it takes for the water to go in and then you know, so feed the plant.
00:48:10.880 --> 00:48:11.760
So, one more time.
00:48:11.920 --> 00:48:18.880
So these there, you you meant so you mentioned the four four buckets just for uh so folks don't have to rewind to that.
00:48:19.039 --> 00:48:24.239
Um, because I think even for me, this is something you know I didn't even really think about my myself.
00:48:24.480 --> 00:48:35.199
You know, to your point, I do you know, I do understand like the thought, the feeling, and then the action and everything else in between, but you put it in such a way that I think it's even making it easier to understand and connect the dots.
00:48:35.280 --> 00:48:40.000
So so what are those four, what are those four buckets again?
00:48:40.639 --> 00:48:43.840
So one is a mind, where we have a thought.
00:48:44.079 --> 00:48:59.679
So let's say as a child, we see we witness an event, we don't know what that means, but father walks into the house, throws his office back one corner of the living room, and sits on a sofa and says, What a horrible day! I'm so much stressed.
00:49:00.079 --> 00:49:02.159
So there are a number of things happening.
00:49:02.400 --> 00:49:05.519
He we are seeing he's tired, exhausted.
00:49:05.920 --> 00:49:12.239
He's given a word stress, so we learned a word stress, and he's failing.
00:49:12.480 --> 00:49:18.079
So we are also learning the feeling attached with that stress word, right?
00:49:18.639 --> 00:49:21.840
So now it completes a loop over the four things.
00:49:21.920 --> 00:49:32.320
So the the energy, the tone, you know, the sound waves are representing the vibration of that emotion, which is now programmed in this child.
00:49:32.480 --> 00:49:35.360
And the father doesn't come home just once in his childhood, isn't it?
00:49:35.440 --> 00:49:37.840
It's like hundred times or five hundred times.
00:49:38.079 --> 00:49:47.679
So, you know, when we were kids, we learned to write these alphabets and we do like number one, and then we write over it, then we over it, and 50 times we know how to write number one.
00:49:48.559 --> 00:49:52.000
So again, there was a first neurological pattern about stress.
00:49:52.159 --> 00:49:54.960
Then the father came in again like that, another layer.
00:49:55.119 --> 00:50:03.679
Then you were watching a movie, and there is another actor or one of the characters who's stressed, and you observe it and it matches, it just gets stronger.
00:50:03.840 --> 00:50:09.599
When you go to work and you had a busy day, you're gonna come back and it act out exactly like that.
00:50:10.639 --> 00:50:14.480
And because we see everyone else like that, and we call it normal.
00:50:14.719 --> 00:50:16.960
So we've learned what is stress.
00:50:17.039 --> 00:50:30.639
Now, if you think of a word stress, automatically it will create those vibrations, it will create those emotions, and it will also give you that physical action of that stress in the you know, your your breath goes short.
00:50:30.960 --> 00:50:47.440
And when you are in that state, your brain frequency is at the is at the state of stress, and you will think of every moment in your past where you felt stressful because that's your that's your transmission, you know, that's what you are setting at.
00:50:48.800 --> 00:51:01.599
So what you see outside is more stressful situation, and then that plays into the rest of our lives and how we show up, and then we get into our patterns, we get into our loops, and then it just repeats.
00:51:01.679 --> 00:51:08.960
And drastis essentially, I hear is you're becoming aware of these things and you have an opportunity to short circuit it.
00:51:09.199 --> 00:51:10.159
Am I explaining that?
00:51:10.559 --> 00:51:11.440
So absolutely.
00:51:11.519 --> 00:51:17.519
So if I finish that example of father walking now, so now it's no longer father because you've grown.
00:51:17.679 --> 00:51:20.800
So conscious is what is out there, it's present.
00:51:21.039 --> 00:51:23.519
Subconscious is emotional brain.
00:51:23.920 --> 00:51:36.639
So when you see yourself from real self, you observe these four layers, and all you really do is you realize that you learned from here, like your father or the TV or your neighbor.
00:51:37.119 --> 00:51:40.559
Now, yeah, I had a busy day, but I did what I had to, and it's done.
00:51:40.639 --> 00:51:41.360
Now I'm home.
00:51:41.440 --> 00:51:43.760
I need to be chilling, I need to be relaxing.
00:51:44.000 --> 00:51:49.519
That will rewrite the pattern because you're doing from within, it's easy to just change it.
00:51:49.679 --> 00:51:54.960
Now, if you went on any personal development, say do some deep breeds and trying to forget.
00:51:55.039 --> 00:51:59.039
So, what you're really doing is not addressing, instead, you're distracting yourself.
00:51:59.360 --> 00:52:01.519
So that will give you temporary relief.
00:52:01.760 --> 00:52:03.760
But when you're not doing it, you come back.
00:52:03.920 --> 00:52:06.880
You know, people tend to have alcohol to release the stress.
00:52:06.960 --> 00:52:10.800
It's not really getting rid of the stress, it's distracting.
00:52:12.320 --> 00:52:20.239
So the rusty method really allows you to see things from the root, understand the whole mechanism, and change the life experience.
00:52:22.639 --> 00:52:23.119
Gotcha.
00:52:23.199 --> 00:52:27.679
So it's going is it's going to the origin down to yes.
00:52:30.719 --> 00:52:40.800
No, but already I I know you had you had uh you had more there, so you know, I'm just I'm just in a pause just because there's there's just so so much to that.
00:52:41.119 --> 00:52:52.400
And you know, I I know you spent a lot of time, but for a lot of folks out there, like this, this is this is a very, very new process, maybe potentially for a lot of people, even myself.
00:52:52.559 --> 00:52:58.960
Um, because you know, I spent time a lot in in the quiet in my life.
00:52:59.039 --> 00:53:00.800
I spent a lot of time in reflection.
00:53:00.960 --> 00:53:10.239
In fact, um a lot of what you talk about, I even talk in in my own framework uh through C2R2E, collapse, confrontation, realignment, reclamation, elevation.
00:53:10.480 --> 00:53:19.280
But even that five-phase process um for those that have never done work with themselves can even be a difficult process.
00:53:19.440 --> 00:53:29.840
And even something like C2R2E, you know, I tell folks that this is not a one-week journey, it is not a two-week journey.
00:53:30.079 --> 00:53:34.000
It's a it's a long journey just to understand yourself.
00:53:34.239 --> 00:53:41.119
But then even when you get to a point of elevation, which just simply means that you're living from a higher state, that's a lifelong process.
00:53:41.199 --> 00:53:43.679
And the intent is you help someone else along the way.
00:53:43.840 --> 00:53:56.400
And so through throughout this whole conversation, you know, I would say everything that you have said and mentioned and talked about, I think even expanded my own work and even my own understanding as a collective.
00:53:56.559 --> 00:54:08.800
And so um, you know, I really appreciate, you know, everything that you're saying because um it deeply connects where where I'm going as well in my own journey of life as well.
00:54:09.280 --> 00:54:10.159
No, that's great.
00:54:10.239 --> 00:54:35.199
And I think I used to believe that uh because you know, grow up growing up in Indian family, you know, very close to the scriptures and daily rituals of prayers and whatnot, I always questioned, and unfortunately, no one had the answer that I was looking for, because they were all following the beliefs without experiencing or understanding or without asking questions.
00:54:35.360 --> 00:54:39.280
They just did it because they were told and they never even had the question.
00:54:39.599 --> 00:55:01.679
But I had those questions, so I I was searching for the real answers, and what I realized is all those methods and scriptures, most of them said you need it's a lifelong work, and sometimes I say I heard it's doesn't you can't acquire this in one lifetime, it needs multiple lifetimes.
00:55:01.840 --> 00:55:05.039
Now that's another subject we can talk another time.
00:55:05.519 --> 00:55:24.159
But what I there was one book which was the audio book, which I listened, and I only did the one chapter, that was about six years ago, and it said there's one line which literally stayed with me until my realization, and then I leave that line.
00:55:24.480 --> 00:55:43.360
It says, Whatever you're really looking for, it is right there right now within you, where you're not looking at it, and I felt something in that moment, but I couldn't name it because I didn't have the vocabulary to explain what it is.
00:55:43.840 --> 00:56:00.400
But after that, when I really realized the state, and you know, when I mentioned earlier, like I went to my childhood and see what this part was doing, then I went to my happy moment and sad moment, it was always there, but I need I didn't see the thing is even if we felt we didn't know what we are looking for.
00:56:00.639 --> 00:56:07.920
So you you you you got on a car and you're out of it, you you're driving around, but you don't know where you want what where you need to go.
00:56:08.079 --> 00:56:14.719
So you could be going in a circle around your destination, but you don't know what it feels like or what it looks like.
00:56:14.960 --> 00:56:25.840
And how I discovered is I think what really helped me is when I had my actual 14 years' journey, there were different interpretations of the state.
00:56:26.320 --> 00:56:35.360
So when I experienced this state, I was scared to start with, but over two to three weeks, I was going for five minutes and come back and trying to make sense.
00:56:35.440 --> 00:56:42.480
And slowly, slowly, I was able to connect all those interpretations of this state.
00:56:42.719 --> 00:56:49.920
And then I realized this is something I heard six years ago, that what you're looking for is right there.
00:56:50.079 --> 00:56:59.599
And when I see the life and every possible complex question and try and answer from this real state, it all made sense.
00:56:59.760 --> 00:57:09.840
And not only it answered my questions, but any person, any podcast, any difficult question I'm asked, the answer comes from that state and is there and it's bang on.
00:57:10.639 --> 00:57:13.679
So I have to believe it because it's my experience.
00:57:13.840 --> 00:57:15.280
Now I can't deny that.
00:57:15.599 --> 00:57:33.280
And because it was so easy, and because I made few people experience that state in 10 minutes, I was so confident that the whole transformation can be done in three days, and hence the three-day method.
00:57:33.679 --> 00:57:42.960
And the the real purpose of me doing this, because I've seen in my journey, I know so many people are going through the same struggle and same hurdle, same pain.
00:57:43.199 --> 00:57:53.840
Unfortunately, we are not able to communicate with people because we have a fear of being judged, we have fear of sharing out our weak moments or our weaknesses.
00:57:54.079 --> 00:57:59.199
We are only used to sharing the good things, not the difficult parts.
00:57:59.519 --> 00:58:10.800
And hence, this is a way to reach out to them and tell them whatever you've been doing and you're not getting what you want, it's available right here, right now, and it's possible.
00:58:12.079 --> 00:58:25.920
You know, it's it's interesting because you mentioned something like putting words to something that you can put words to, and then the conventional wisdom and practices, it sounded like it wasn't quite quite enough.
00:58:26.079 --> 00:58:30.079
And you know, the those same words I you know I say was even true for myself.
00:58:30.239 --> 00:58:50.480
You know, when I created C2R2E, it was because literally I was walking through experiences that, for example, Praterik, I I was told you need to pray more, you need to go to church more, you need to read your word or your scriptures more, you need to do all these things as if there were some sort of checklist.
00:58:50.800 --> 00:58:55.920
And you know, it none of that made me happier, none of that made me more connected.
00:58:56.000 --> 00:58:58.639
If anything, I felt more disconnected with myself.
00:58:58.880 --> 00:59:04.719
And then ironically, there was like this inner voice within myself saying, This is not right.
00:59:05.440 --> 00:59:32.079
And and I would, I remember stepping back even as I was going through a a church sermon one time, and you know, I see I would see everyone else around me, and I'm just like, and I just couldn't buy in fully, and not because I think church or Christianity or any or any of that is wrong or or what have you, but there was just something about you know Christianity for me, at least here in America, that was just not resonating with with me.
00:59:32.239 --> 00:59:36.639
And so um, you know, as part of my story, I eventually left.
00:59:36.719 --> 00:59:39.119
And uh honestly, I don't have any regrets.
00:59:39.199 --> 00:59:54.639
And throughout my life, especially as I started exploring my own work, I meet get to meet folks like yourself, I get to meet other folks that we may talk about, you know, we talk about the same concepts, we may describe them all differently.
00:59:54.800 --> 00:59:58.559
And it's interesting when you talk about 14 years, different things that you have done.
00:59:58.639 --> 01:00:09.840
But I'm discovering more and more, even for myself, that there's a lot of us out there, there's a community of people that we're all talking about the same exact thing, maybe through different lenses and different experiences when it comes down to life transformation.
01:00:10.159 --> 01:00:11.119
Yeah, yeah.
01:00:11.360 --> 01:00:33.039
I think in my experience, um, there are a lot of communities or practices aim at these real me or real self, but most of them talk about things or showing ways of transforming, remaining within conditioning.
01:00:33.599 --> 01:00:36.480
And that is a really, really hard path.
01:00:36.719 --> 01:00:42.719
But to be honest, I wouldn't say this one of the techniques I tried and it didn't work.
01:00:42.880 --> 01:00:47.280
I think they were all the steps for me to get here where I am.
01:00:47.440 --> 01:00:53.920
Because if I didn't try, if I didn't learn any of it, I wouldn't have experienced this.
01:00:54.239 --> 01:00:59.360
So they sold me for the time I had to learn something from it.
01:00:59.599 --> 01:01:02.320
But as soon as I learned, I moved on.
01:01:02.480 --> 01:01:10.719
So, you know, you might come across a technique where you resonate and you do everything that you were asked, and then you suddenly withdraw from it.
01:01:11.119 --> 01:01:17.920
Because we don't realize, but our awareness was expanding to some degree, practicing that.
01:01:18.880 --> 01:01:28.159
But that practice was not strong or powerful enough to make you experience what you really wanted to experience or what you really needed to experience.
01:01:28.400 --> 01:01:31.039
So you go on to the next one, then next one.
01:01:31.199 --> 01:01:49.440
But I think when I studied quantum mechanics in deep for about four to five months, spent three, four hours a day, and then trying to apply those things with my experiences and certain practices I did by myself and this process of the book.
01:01:49.679 --> 01:01:56.320
And I think this one habit of connecting dots, I think that's an automatic process from through most people.
01:01:56.800 --> 01:02:00.639
Um that's what really created this experience.
01:02:00.719 --> 01:02:10.000
And then when you go back, now if I practice those techniques, it will work because I know what they were aimed at and I know why they couldn't work at that time.
01:02:10.079 --> 01:02:11.599
Like law of attraction.
01:02:12.000 --> 01:02:18.719
The very first thing, that important step they mention is let go.
01:02:19.840 --> 01:02:24.079
Now, uh, there are a lot of contradictions in the law of attraction process.
01:02:24.239 --> 01:02:32.239
So the one I learned was number one, visualize or think positive, think what you want as if you already have it.
01:02:32.480 --> 01:02:34.320
So I'm thinking I have 10 million pounds.
01:02:34.559 --> 01:02:36.239
Money is the simplest example, right?
01:02:36.400 --> 01:02:40.159
I have 10 million pounds, and then there is the inner voice saying, No, you don't.
01:02:40.559 --> 01:02:43.440
And I still try and override that noise.
01:02:43.599 --> 01:02:45.119
Now I do have it, you don't know.
01:02:45.199 --> 01:02:46.079
It's secret.
01:02:46.559 --> 01:02:48.400
And then I visualize.
01:02:48.719 --> 01:02:59.199
Though I visualize a big mansion and expensive cars and luxury, you know, branded clothes, and that that's all we can think of when you think of yourself being rich.
01:02:59.440 --> 01:03:01.440
The third step is feel.
01:03:01.599 --> 01:03:07.280
Now that's where I would struggle because I never had 10 million pounds to feel what it feels like to have 10 million pounds.
01:03:07.440 --> 01:03:09.280
So again, that is a contradiction.
01:03:09.519 --> 01:03:14.960
And the third step was letting go, which means you forget about it.
01:03:16.000 --> 01:03:22.880
Now, the very reason I was doing this exercise is for me to have 10 million and now I have to forget, right?
01:03:23.039 --> 01:03:25.519
So, how this is going to work.
01:03:25.760 --> 01:03:27.760
So, I literally forget that I practice.
01:03:28.079 --> 01:03:30.559
I wasn't because that's the best I could understand.
01:03:31.440 --> 01:03:42.960
If I do the law of attraction now from real self, I'm operating from wholeness, so I can think that I'm manifesting$10 million.
01:03:43.840 --> 01:03:49.440
There is no inner voice because I'm talking from something deeper than inner voice now.
01:03:50.079 --> 01:03:57.039
Then I'm visualizing what I want or what I'm having, what I'm doing with that money.
01:03:57.360 --> 01:04:03.199
Number three, I'm feeling it because yes, having money is an experience, it's not there to fulfill me.
01:04:03.360 --> 01:04:11.599
The reason it didn't work before because I wanted money to feel the fulfillment, and I was operating from lack, so there is no way you can feel fulfilled.
01:04:11.760 --> 01:04:14.480
But now I'm operating from fulfillment.
01:04:14.719 --> 01:04:18.239
So even if I didn't make 10 million, I'm still whole, I'm still complete.
01:04:18.320 --> 01:04:19.920
So it was easy to let go.
01:04:20.559 --> 01:04:21.840
Simple process.
01:04:23.679 --> 01:04:24.480
It's interesting.
01:04:24.559 --> 01:04:32.400
I think that's going to be a hot take for this for the secret and law of attraction community, because that's truly a very different perspective.
01:04:32.559 --> 01:04:44.480
But it's almost like what I hear you talking about is you're remembering what it feels like to experience something versus you're trying to conjure up how it's supposed to feel.
01:04:44.639 --> 01:04:46.159
So does that sound about right?
01:04:46.480 --> 01:04:47.199
Absolutely.
01:04:47.440 --> 01:04:52.000
So when you operate from wholeness, take an example of you're the ocean.
01:04:52.400 --> 01:04:58.800
So if some if you suddenly receive one million liter water, you're still the ocean, you're not affected.
01:04:58.960 --> 01:05:02.320
You're not gonna feel wow, I've got extra million liter water.
01:05:02.559 --> 01:05:02.800
No.
01:05:03.119 --> 01:05:07.679
And if you lose two million liter water, you are still the same ocean.
01:05:08.159 --> 01:05:10.800
So if you make money, you are the ocean.
01:05:10.960 --> 01:05:13.519
If you lose money, you are still the ocean.
01:05:13.760 --> 01:05:17.679
The wholeness, the completeness, the fulfillment is a state.
01:05:17.920 --> 01:05:24.320
It cannot be determined by some numerical values or material wealth or material objects.
01:05:24.480 --> 01:05:30.159
So whether you have that material things or not, you're still whole, you're still complete.
01:05:30.480 --> 01:05:33.440
So that that's where you're not chasing anything.
01:05:33.920 --> 01:05:39.920
And when you don't chase anything, you become a magnet and you attract experiences.
01:05:41.199 --> 01:05:45.599
That's what we are really looking to is experience the life.
01:05:45.840 --> 01:05:48.880
Manifest experiences, not material objects.
01:05:49.119 --> 01:05:53.840
And what you really wanted to feel when you had 10 million pounds is fulfillment.
01:05:54.000 --> 01:05:59.599
Now, if you're already feeling fulfillment, then whether you have million, 10 million, or 10,000, you are.
01:06:00.320 --> 01:06:01.519
fulfilled.
01:06:01.920 --> 01:06:02.719
And you know what?
01:06:02.800 --> 01:06:08.159
And I think this is a great segue to really talk about like where can we find you?
01:06:08.320 --> 01:06:12.320
Because I think this is some power, this is a a very powerful message.
01:06:13.440 --> 01:06:18.000
There were moments here that I did not expect to talk about that we dove into.
01:06:18.159 --> 01:06:29.039
And I think what you just said, striving for experiences, because everything else is, you know, should be feeding or helping for us to achieve those experiences.
01:06:29.119 --> 01:06:36.320
So I think this is a really good great segue to talk about where can folks find your work and where can they connect with you?
01:06:36.719 --> 01:06:37.519
Certainly.
01:06:37.760 --> 01:06:45.280
So I'm actually re repositioning the whole Drusty method because you know we spoke about understanding is important.
01:06:45.440 --> 01:06:47.599
The user manual needs to be there.
01:06:47.760 --> 01:06:49.599
So from that you can experience something.
01:06:49.760 --> 01:06:58.320
So I'm actually in a process of finalizing a foundation course for Drusty and that teaches every tiny bit of human experience.
01:06:58.400 --> 01:07:01.760
That's like a user manual of our life experience.
01:07:02.000 --> 01:07:08.239
And once people do that it's online will be readily available after 25th of August.
01:07:08.880 --> 01:07:22.159
They can do that course and then they enter a Drusty circle community where they can we can have a personalized question answers and wherever they are stuck or they don't feel clarity I can answer that.
01:07:22.559 --> 01:07:30.960
And we would be organizing three-day immersive experiences worldwide as the time goes by and they can join that.
01:07:31.119 --> 01:07:33.920
So the website is called thrustymethod.com.
01:07:34.079 --> 01:07:44.960
It has a lot of information right now um don't know exactly when this episode is going to be out but if it's after 25th of August they are going to see the the latest version of the offering.
01:07:45.519 --> 01:08:39.920
Yeah my goal is to put this out as quickly as possible just because uh I don't ever like for great messages to to stay you know to stay in the queue for a long time I appreciate that for a long time so I I will do my best to get this out uh as quick as I can but with that with that Patrick uh Patrick is there anything else you wanted to leave or how you know any closing message here because I again um you know I even took a lot to to think about even in myself I think one message I would tell people is anytime you feel you are not enough because that's one fun fundamental the key feeling everyone carries in a different extent is I'm not enough and when you think of successful people we are hugely successful and you think you can never get there.
01:08:40.560 --> 01:08:43.680
Just think when we were born we were all the same.
01:08:44.479 --> 01:08:49.520
So if one can do something you can too you just need to learn how.
01:08:50.000 --> 01:08:54.640
So be open to ask questions why did you learn to not do something?
01:08:55.359 --> 01:09:01.840
If you have self-talk every day five to ten minutes I think that's a really great beginning.
01:09:02.000 --> 01:09:07.359
And the only condition is be honest and go deeper in asking questions.
01:09:07.439 --> 01:09:16.640
These two things if you do that without any effort you will see the shift in your own experiences and that's the beginning.
01:09:17.199 --> 01:09:55.199
No amazing and and it's amazing what you're doing what you're doing and thank you so much for for really taking the time and you know joining me here on the next baseline and then also sharing your story your work and then your perspective so so with that over to the audience you know I think that this conversation reminds us that awareness is important but awareness is only the beginning and recognizing the pattern shaping our inner inner lives gives us really an opportunity to pause, question what has been guiding us and also to decide whether we want to continue living from the same from this from that same place.
01:09:55.600 --> 01:10:12.399
Having a greater sense of clarity does not necessarily mean the absence of difficult emotions or uncertainty but rather it may mean becoming more capable of recognizing what is happening within us without automatically allowing an old pattern to determine what we do next.
01:10:12.640 --> 01:10:26.399
So for everyone listening today perhaps the question to carry with you forward is not only what patterns are shaping the inner life, but then also now that I can see them, what will I choose to build differently?
01:10:26.640 --> 01:10:36.079
So you can find you know as Patrick mentioned you can find everything you need to know about him and his work you'll find them in the description that I have in the episode below.
01:10:36.159 --> 01:10:44.560
And with that said this has been another episode of the next baseline where we continue to ask the question what do we build now to reach our next baseline?
01:10:44.640 --> 01:10:49.760
And until next time take care of yourself and keep moving toward your next baseline.
