In this episode of TangibleTalks, Jana and Reata discuss "The Comparison Trap," the habit of measuring our lives, families, and worth against others. They explain that comparison steals joy, energy, time, and purpose, often fueled by social media and envy. Drawing from John 21:21–22, they emphasize that comparing ourselves to others distracts us from the unique purpose God has for our lives and our responsibility to follow Him. They also reference Matthew 7:3–5, which teaches the importance of focusing on our own growth and shortcomings before judging others. Ultimately, the episode encourages listeners to reject comparison, embrace their God-given path, and find contentment in who God created them to be.
Tangible Talks podcast conducts conversations about applying the teachings of God in everyday situations that reveal Jesus.
