00:02:40
Speaker 1: I do feel better today than I did earlier in the week.
00:02:46
Speaker 2: Interesting night, interesting night, It really was. It really was.
00:02:50
Speaker 1: So I uh we we we did our our deal yesterday. And uh you know when I when I was out and you know Alabama, I think they called Alabama like three minutes and to the broadcast.
00:03:00
Speaker 5: Well yeah, and so I.
00:03:03
Speaker 1: Knew that I honestly knew that my vote in Alabama would have no impact whatsoever. And usually when I go to vote, I am in and out in five to ten minutes. Okay, on every election that I've had since I've lived there, Okay, never once have I stood in line. Yesterday I walked up in the weight to vote at like one thirty one forty five. So I thought I'd missed the lunch deal. I thought I'd missed everybody on the way to work, and the weight at my place and no other places it was two hours. But even at mine it was forty five fifty minutes. And I was like, wow, I've never seen this never, And and of course it was a little warmer, and I wanted to be and and you know, had stopped raining, and it had that little post humid and I was in the line and it wasn't moving all that fast. And then of course they were doing they should let people seventy and above are injured get in front of me. Hey, guy with skin cancer, you played that card. You just had a little skin cancer thing taken off, had a patch on your neck, and you like, you're in your thirties and you'd let him take you to the front of the line. I'm not sure that's what he meant. Oh wow, I mean, I know you had a patch on your neck, but you were fine. But hey, he played the card, he said, what about this thing on that? Of course the no. Yeah, the sheriff was nice. He said, here, come on, I'll take you up there. A goy broke line. By the way, he was in his thirty it's just simply because he'd had something taken off his neck on skin can. But anyway, so there was there was something.
00:04:31
Speaker 2: I wanted.
00:04:31
Speaker 1: Everything in me wanted to go get in my truck and leave because I thought, well it really didn't matter, and I just don't want to stand in this line. And I just couldn't do it. I couldn't leave. I was like, you know what, I just can't not vote. And uh, and I thought, you know, put apart the state the country is in. Well, just you know, because of every everybody that's given me that right to vote, and you know, we talked about it, and I do think you'd have the right to protest if you don't like candas and not voted all that that's still in the proper way, that's still freedom. And I and but there was just something about it. Everything about me wanted to get out of that line because I thought, Rick, it doesn't even matter. I mean, Alabama's going for Trump, and you want Trump to win. Do you don't even have this, You're not even to have.
00:05:11
Speaker 2: We were real close to seventy percent.
00:05:14
Speaker 1: But I don't know if I didn't want to face. I didn't want to face y'all. And y'all asked me if I voted, and you better and you're there, stay there, man. I pictured Bubba's dad in World War Two, and I mean, I just couldn't get out of the line.
00:05:27
Speaker 2: I started to put a picture of him online.
00:05:29
Speaker 1: Yeah, I hit it perfect, and even some I pictured the Revolutionary War than the War of eighteen twelve. I had all kinds stuff. Yeah, I got lucky. I hit First of all, I show up at my voting place and it's not there. There was not a soul there.
00:05:42
Speaker 2: Oh wow.
00:05:43
Speaker 1: And I thought, well, they've moved it. And so I called Lisa. I said where I thought we voted here? She said, well, anyway, she got on internet and figured it out, then moved me down the road.
00:05:51
Speaker 2: Bubba saw your sister in law. She signed me in his sister.
00:05:55
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, Tradicker, Yeah, she.
00:06:00
Speaker 3: Saw me right in.
00:06:01
Speaker 5: Got to see a lot of people I hadn't seen a long time because I was in line for about forty five minutes, like you were.
00:06:05
Speaker 3: Rick.
00:06:06
Speaker 5: It was Reese got to vote for his first president. He got to vote midterm when he turned eighteen, but this was his first presidential vote, and so he uh. And there was other things on there besides just Trump in the state. There were representatives and amendments and things. So I'm glad you stayed with it. Rick, Well you, Bubba and Adler.
00:06:25
Speaker 1: I think Greg would have given me a pass, but you three I didn't want to face. At what point did you go? What would have been too long? Would you have stayed hour and a half two hours? I would I don't think I gotta stayed. Yeah, some people stood in line or two it. I was locked in.
00:06:41
Speaker 2: I had a new voting place too, and there was no line, so I got it.
00:06:47
Speaker 1: I did walk toward my truck once when I saw the line, turn around and walk back. Couldn't get in my truck and walk back and got my back.
00:06:52
Speaker 5: I got to see every hall in the church we voted in because that was a line.
00:06:55

00:09:07
Speaker 2: Right now, what looks like.
00:09:13
Speaker 1: A really overwhelming victory by Donald Trump Bubba, What say you as you went into yesterday, I know that you were thinking that it looked possible that Trump would win easily. I think we all thought that, we kept saying on the air. Surely no one thinks we're on the right track. And I think America had such a clear look right now, and we even had theor is. And it sounds like you said, you talked to some friends. You knew that our people. You have friends who are Democrats.
00:09:45
Speaker 2: I know that's, you know, not really cool to say nowadays, but I do and I respect their opinion. I disagree with them, but of course we have some healthy debates. And you know they they were already telling me said, look, a loss here means we will get to reset the party. And I said, now, what do you mean? They said, we need to get back to the middle. We've got out over our skis too for core, and we're letting the extreme left dictate policy. And most of us are just sitting by and letting it happen because it looks like if we oppose them, we're some kind of Trump fan. And really there's just some issues that are not Trump issues, they're not Democrat issues, they're American issues, and that is securing our border, energy efficiency, peace around the globe where we can get it, and the economy, and really there will be a lot of breakdown about this, and you're going to see all kind of numbers, and it is all interesting to study from a history standpoint, But you know, it may be just this simple. And I have to go back and borrow a line from Bill Clinton. It's the economy, stupid. It's just that simple. It's just that simple. I think they counted on the abortion issue to bring them all the females. The females were apparently more than a one issue vote. The fact they couldn't feed their families actually outweighed some of the other As far as you say, it trumped it, it trumped it. And I think it's important. Look, these things are cyclical to some degree anyway, just out of a natural habit. It all kind of came together when you looked at the economy, the border, world issues, the fact that the Dems had been in there for a while, it was, you know, the sign wave of the universe was saying it was time for a change. And Trump was the guy to jump on that wave and right it. He he is uniquely set up to do that. He listen, most of us would not make it through what he's been through. Okay, you have to be a little strange to get through all this stuff. Okay. And we had several of our guests we've had on pointed that out. I thought it was very intriguing.
00:12:09
Speaker 3: Uh uh.
00:12:10
Speaker 2: The Susan was probably the one that he said, Look, most most normal people couldn't get through this. Let's let's be thankful for the oddities that we have. But it's uh, you know, now now you've got to go to work. Now you've got to deliver, and uh, you know, we'll have another election in two years. The House will be chosen again, and you know, historically, uh, the sitting president will take a hit on that, not always, but historically. And so you got a lot of work to do. There's a lot of problems out there that need to be fixed. And uh, you know, the America has pitched Trump the ball on the on the sweep and now you've got to get yards and they.
00:12:51
Speaker 1: May give him the House in the Senate. And if they do, really no excuse. Yeah yeah, uh and it looks like and it looks like that it likely is going to happen.
00:12:59
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, the Republicans are going to pick up big votes in the Senate, how many, I don't know. I think they're safe at fifty five, could be more than that. When all said and done, they're gonna pick up the House. So you know, no, the Republicans historically will be their own worst enemy on these things. That's true. That's my consign. So it's it's time to set some policy agendas and execute.
00:13:25
Speaker 1: Them, and enough and toughen up a little bit because you're going to be called everything under the sun. You're going to be deemed dark, wicked, evil, and you just have to move on and say, I hear you of their screaming, but I got work to do, and the and the American people. By the way, somebody said that there was already and I didn't see it because I was along asleep.
00:13:45
Speaker 6: That one.
00:13:46
Speaker 1: Williams started trying to and I usually like one. He's one of those Democrats we can just agree to disagree. But he started trying to play a racist card because of Kamada. I got bad news for you. Warrant one if you did do that, and all the others that may try that. What helped Trump when we're people of color, So you're going to have a hard time with that especially black men and Hispanics. Okay, so that's going.
00:14:07
Speaker 2: To be record numbers.
00:14:09
Speaker 1: That's going to be a tough card to play because of all the topics. And I do think Bubba, everything you said I totally agree on. And I think the other thing under that Democrats have lost touch with the reality is all the wokeness. I think they've grossly overestimated that that's the place they should be because most American people, who even may lean to the left when it comes to certain policy, they honestly don't want biological men playing sports against biological women. They think all of this weird part of the left that's going to a place it, like we say, is not the real world. I think the Democratic Party has got to get back in the real world. And you don't have to ostracize the people who want you to do that. You're going to get their vote. But you better get back to what Bubba's friends were talking about. You've got to get back in the real world. And America just told the Democratic Party the world that you have created and you want us to live in, we reject it.
00:15:08
Speaker 2: Well, yeah, it's it's still a very divided country on no question, and some.
00:15:14
Speaker 1: Of that is pretending to be the way most people feel, and it's not. It's not the way most people feel. That's pretend even on the left, even people who would be Democrats, and.
00:15:25
Speaker 2: I think a large part of the Democrat Party is is embarrassed about where their national agendas has gone to and where they're putting the chips, so to speak. You can, you can have a legitimate disagreement on some stuff, but this thing of girls boys playing girl sports and all this other real strange stuff. I think most common sense people said, you know, this is just ridiculous. I can't I can't get in line with this anymore.
00:15:53
Speaker 1: And they're over there, over serving that group at the cost of their of their main.
00:15:59
Speaker 2: Group, you know too. And it is amazing you look at people who got reelected. Adam Schiff went back in Pocahontas, went back in Elizabeth Warren and the one that that really is. You know, I have to just scratch my head and have to ask the people of Vermont, what do you.
00:16:18
Speaker 1: Think away He's nobody can even touch Himmer. That just says a lot about Vermont's all that. I don't get that at all. I just don't.
00:16:29
Speaker 2: I'm still listen. I am. I am more than ever for term limits, and I would be all for voting.
00:16:36
Speaker 5: That end went about sixty four almost sixty five percent of the vote for Harris, so that they're all.
00:16:42
Speaker 1: The country is, guys. We had said this yesterday. The country was in such dire straits and still is. There's a lot of work to do. To Bubba's point that the homish got out voted, okay, I mean with number and Trump won Pennsylvania. So that's unbelievable.
00:16:59
Speaker 2: Okay.
00:16:59
Speaker 1: I thought that was a little odd. When Elizabeth Warren's camp when they announced that she won again, they did it with smoke signals. I was like, well, they're really trying after all that she had done and you know, abused her Indian status, which she wasn't even an Indian. I can't believe that they keep elected. So Bubba, we got to get to the celebrities that are leaving.
00:17:25
Speaker 2: You folks that are texting I'm finally starting to feel unburdened by what has been.
00:17:32
Speaker 1: You're gonna hear that a lot. So we have celebrities. Now, they've done this before, which makes the list confusing. They threatened to leave in twenty sixteen, when Trump won, they threatened that they would leave if he won again in twenty twenty, and they've threatened to leave this time if he wins. Now I can't. The only person I can document leaving, and I don't think he left because of an election, is Johnny Depp. Was fleeing some legal something, Yeah, I need to have now lives in a small town in France.
00:18:02
Speaker 2: But he basically shared his dogs and went on, well, we keep.
00:18:05
Speaker 1: In mind he said he mainly did that because of how much better it is than California. So so anyway, so have any of those that threatened to live for leave for political reasons? Only ever really left. De Niro just could not stand from or he was so I would love to see his he said. Didn't he say he's leaving this time too? He may have, but he really really doesn't like you. Springsteen said he's leaving this time again?
00:18:31
Speaker 2: Did he?
00:18:31
Speaker 1: Yes? He did, because I remember us talking about it on show.
00:18:33
Speaker 2: The Picture we have up or notarily everyone who said they were leaving. Some of these were supporters, some Jason Jason Bateman the only one.
00:18:45
Speaker 1: I don't even give de Niro past because I love him in movies.
00:18:48
Speaker 2: Yeah, I like Jason. But did Jason Baman say he's leaving?
00:18:51
Speaker 1: I know that just got the old man. Okay, so this time too. Now I understand now Mark Groblo where his name is, he's good movies, but he's an idot. But he can just do movies and live somewhere.
00:19:06
Speaker 2: Louise, that one hurt, you know, being the comedy standpoint. I hate to see her. Did she say she's leaving?
00:19:11
Speaker 7: No?
00:19:12
Speaker 5: These these are a lot of these here are just hea heavily supporters of Kamala that were very outspoken about like their Oprah's up there. She obviously didn't say she was leaving.
00:19:21
Speaker 1: But now Clary lives like somewhere far off anyway.
00:19:24
Speaker 5: Yeah, I think, so what what in the world?
00:19:27
Speaker 8: Why is Alice Cooper on here?
00:19:32
Speaker 1: I share share has threatened leaving the pastor oh yes, I don't know about this share has threatened on Yeah?
00:19:39
Speaker 5: Yeah, Greg. Greg did an extensive celebrity search during the kickoff hour and it kind of ran through a little bit of the list, but it kept kicking him back to twenty sixteen because they've all declared it so many times.
00:19:50
Speaker 2: Yea.
00:19:50
Speaker 1: Then they had a section it was just yes from celebrities. That's where we got Cardi b in her great statement.
00:19:57
Speaker 2: I want to know how the Scarboroughs are handling it this.
00:19:59
Speaker 5: Well, Uh, we're already getting reports through the text line of some things that he has said in one liners.
00:20:05
Speaker 3: Uh.
00:20:06
Speaker 2: The view, the view, I think is the central focus today where we feel like somebody may suffer a medical.
00:20:12
Speaker 1: They may have to put bed mill of day. Look, we comes on here in our studio, but I don't know how to get the audio up. I'll find out today. All right here it is this. This is the answer that I can find. On Springsteen out of New Jersey, they said what calls him this this time is there was a post that was put up and it said it says he he joked. He said about seeing you on the next plane if Trump was was re elected. But they said, after everyone did research, everybody claimed that was him saying he was going to leave. But he came back and said, I was joking. I don't want Trump to win, but that was a joke I made. If he wins, he goes. Everybody started posting that, like I said, I was leaving.
00:20:55
Speaker 2: So let's not do like.
00:20:58
Speaker 1: They take a obvious joke.
00:21:00
Speaker 2: And then take it out of context, and that like that was an official process.
00:21:04
Speaker 1: So the Springsteen saying that he was leaving, he said he was joking.
00:21:08
Speaker 7: Uh.
00:21:08
Speaker 1: Now he said that in all fairness before Trump won, So I'm not saying he's saying it now. Uh And and he was clarifying that. And that's where Speedy was like, I don't think he said that this time, So you are right he said it was said but in.
00:21:20
Speaker 5: Jest, right, So Greg and I asked the question of the kickoff hour, like take some of these out because they were way left and very outspoken. But the Will Ferrells and the other ones that came out at the end is like, man, you need to vote Comlin.
00:21:34
Speaker 2: If you don't, you're stupid.
00:21:35
Speaker 5: All that. I wonder if when they really voted who they voted for. I can't talk because you know, they got to say certain things to stay in the little click.
00:21:43
Speaker 1: Here's here's why you did that, mark that card. Here's not just celebrities. There were people that told their family remember saying one of the ways that Trump would win as people who voted for another said that not just us, but that people will vote for him. They'll never admit it, sure, because of the state of things that happened. By the way, Oh yeah, Miley Cyrus in twenty sixteen. This is funny when she said that I'm moving if Donald Trump is my president, and then she says, I don't say things I don't mean. Of course the person under he says she didn't mean it because she's still here. But I don't know that she wighed in this time. A lot of what you're looking for, Like you've already tried. If you if you google, you keep getting Trump the Trump you know, I'm leaving like they got they set it back in twenty sixteen. Yeah, here's one that well hate. I don't know where he is now, but he has said it in the past. Brian creston Cities.
00:22:37
Speaker 2: Oh I know, yeah, he big live shows.
00:22:40
Speaker 8: Yeah, breaking bad.
00:22:41
Speaker 2: I'll just leave him there in my brain.
00:22:43
Speaker 1: Like we said earlier, Mark Cuban come out and congratulated and said you won fair and square, And yesterday it already came out. He was walking back his statement that he don't like to be around and tells you women. He actually said, he apologized that he was wrong.
00:22:55
Speaker 2: I give Mark Cuban credit, like you said. He walked back a dumb statement he shouldn't have said. And then he has said Trump won.
00:23:04
Speaker 1: You know, graduates, well, there's nothing wrong with you and everything you can do to try to win who you want to win. But once it's over, I give him credit for saying, hey, we lost, all right.
00:23:13
Speaker 2: We were all taught play hard and when the game's over, you shake hands. All right.
00:23:18
Speaker 1: I saw somebody saying something about Steve Harvey today, which I know I don't want to hear them. Y'all might want to listen to Steve Harvey Show today. They were all talking about Harris's president back then again and throw out the trash talking about Trump. Yeah, well, if they're talking about today that they're they're they're wasting their time lost. Maybe you meant they talked about it before. No, I look, I understand, I do. I understand being in a world where you're saying these things because you think it's there.
00:23:44
Speaker 2: We've lost. We know how it feels.
00:23:45
Speaker 1: Yeah, And plus I understand that there's things how Trump acts and the things that he does that that bother people and upset people, and especially you know, Trump is not the kind of opponent that is not going to trash talk. He's not the kind of opponent that's not gonna infuriate you. He's not the kind of opponent that says, look, I just want to talk about my record, and I have nothing negative to say about who he is. He is gonna fight, he is gonna call names. If you call him names, he's gonna call names back. He's gonna make fun. He's gonna win. And I know for some people that infuriates them. But as we said, we were going to the polls this time on the choice that we were given, and America seems to agree. We're voting on ideology. We're voting on we had. We cannot continue on the road that we're on. This fake world stuff. Maybe a lot of feel goodism, but it's that is a disaster when it comes to our security in our cot economy.
00:24:41
Speaker 5: Yeah, you texted something to the group when you woke up, and I felt the same way when I checked. And I don't know about Bubba, because I know you sent out too. But when I first checked, when I woke up and it showed that Trump had two hundred and seventy seven electoral votes, I was like, Okay, is it it's real? You know what I mean? Because we've been had before. And so then I start checking other sources and I text the family and Terry responds, is this legit? You said when you first texted the group? And we after doing some research. AP News had called it, you know, Daily Mail had called it, Yahoo, Fox News, all this kind of stuff you like, y'all serious, because it's.
00:25:23
Speaker 1: Hard to believe when we woke up, it was hard.
00:25:26
Speaker 5: To truly believe the numbers.
00:25:28
Speaker 9: Yes, plus also in twenty twenty, we saw what happened. I went to sleep at ten thirty and twenty twenty Trump was president, woke up and he wasn't Yes, And I honestly I stayed up until eleven last night, and I was cautiously checking. I know it was a blowout, but I was cautiously checking my phone at four o'clock.
00:25:43
Speaker 1: This How was it at eleven? Because I went to bed, like I said, about eight forty five, and it was one ninety five Trump, I think, one eleven Harris, and it looked positive. All the other stuff looked positive. But twenty twenty it looked positive too. I didn't.
00:25:56
Speaker 2: Yeah, I think there was always a little inks. You're thinking, are they gonna start finding boxes here?
00:26:04
Speaker 3: Yeah?
00:26:05
Speaker 5: There's people hearing it for the first time right now, and they're like, Okay, y'all serious straight up, because it's so hard to believe because you don't know. Like Adler saying in twenty twenty, what happened, we did all go to bed thinking he.
00:26:18
Speaker 9: Was present, and then some water pipes broke and then they found a bunch of boxes.
00:26:21
Speaker 1: Is crazy. When we come back, Joy read, Oh boy, has anybody checked on everybody at MSNBC? Has anybody checked on them? We'll be back more ricking Bubba next, ricking Bubba, ricking Bubba. America's vote is in. Donald Trump has won the election, the popular votes and the Electoral College and may continue to add to his lead in the College as some states there's four are still out that are supposed to come in. He was leading in those. A lot of you on the text line saying no, we could stab late enough to see it. But it was interesting to watch MSNBC. It's almost that they could not call Pennsylvania for Trump. Even with ninety five percent of the vote in and Trump up by two hundred thousand votes, they still wouldn't call it.
00:27:13
Speaker 2: They're still wait.
00:27:13
Speaker 6: It's like.
00:27:16
Speaker 1: The blue Wall speaking of MSB. So the Joy Joy Joy, you.
00:27:21
Speaker 2: Know, can I say this, I don't look America spoke. That's great. We've been we've been on what we felt like the winning side. We've been on the losing side. Okay, I understand all that, but the media meltdown.
00:27:34
Speaker 10: Uh.
00:27:35
Speaker 1: It's by far my favorite.
00:27:37
Speaker 2: And and I take more enjoyment in this than I do the victory itself. I just want to be clear. I love to see these people, Oh yeah, have a come apart that think they're so important.
00:27:49
Speaker 1: Joy Reid, Uh, you're going to enjoy this one. Here is MSNBC's Joy Reid of this.
00:27:56
Speaker 6: On this set numerous times.
00:27:58
Speaker 11: Is that you have a state where you've got a six week abortion, work twelve week abortion.
00:28:02
Speaker 6: I think theres might be twelve weeks.
00:28:03
Speaker 11: But it's a state where women lost their reproductive rights, where there was a very heavy push to get women to focus on not putting in place, you know, re electing, putting back into the White House the person who was responsible for taking those rights away and restoring them. But that message obviously was not enough to get enough white women to vote for Vice President Harris, a fellow woman. This will be the second opportunity that white women in this country have to change the way that they interact with the patriarchy. And you know, God bless Shannon Watts who has tried to have that conversation. But if people aren't receptive to it, and if people vote more you know, party line or more on race than on gender and on protecting their gender, there's really not much more that you can do but tell people what the risks are and leave it to them to do the right thing.
00:28:54
Speaker 3: Yeah.
00:28:54
Speaker 1: Well, I mean that message just was out there, but.
00:28:59
Speaker 2: Hope she sees it.
00:29:01
Speaker 1: It just isn't the majority of American.
00:29:03
Speaker 5: Now she's still about Amendment four in Florida was rejected.
00:29:06
Speaker 2: You'll hear all the Hey, we didn't get our message out. No, I think you got it out. That was the problem. Now, the message was clear. The over prosecution of Trump, too, was so ridiculous. We've talked about that. There's to bring up these charges, especially the banking ones in New York where there was no victim, there was no complaint. You had a DA run a campaign on I will get Trump, went in, charged him, got a conviction, and the whole thing was just I mean, you you just look at it and I think most normal people went, this is crazy, why are we doing this? And the thirty four felony counts, I mean, how many times have you seen anybody charged with multiple counts and they get convicted on all of them? I mean, yeah, the prosecutors will pile on to be sure they've got enough to get a conviction, but usually a judge will go, look, six seven of these are ridiculous. You throw them out. You may get conviction on half of them. The way it was done, it just looked ridiculous to most Americas.
00:30:09
Speaker 1: Well, on the right, when you have Trump as a candidate, we always say he's not coachable, and he at times is his own worst. End me on the left, here's the problem that y'all have. You always overplay your hand. It's never enough for you, and you keep going and going and going till you get to the bizarre. And when you get to the bizarre, when you know, like when when at one time we thought we all agreed that life did start after birth, you know, and then this thing with gender, you go to the bizarre and you overplay your hand and you've done it again, and I'm sorry, go ahead.
00:30:39
Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
00:30:40
Speaker 9: Can we really focus on what she said. She got mad at women for voting based on race rather than gender. How about we don't have to base we don't have to vote based on our race. We don't have to vote based on our gender. That's such an insulting thing to say to everyone. Vote vote on policy, not on your race and your well on the policy.
00:31:01
Speaker 1: Where they reveal at a great point, they reveal where the world that they live in, and they're shocked that the majority of Americans don't live in that world. They don't vote on that stuff. They're voting on the things that affect their daily life.
00:31:17
Speaker 9: And also did she say, God bless that person for talking about God, for talking about abortion rights?
00:31:22
Speaker 8: God bless them? Ok, yeah, God bless you.
00:31:24
Speaker 2: Joy got your teams confusing.
00:31:26
Speaker 1: Here's NBC. They're having their they're struggling, and they don't understand why working class voters love Donald Trump. This is how out of touch they are.
00:31:35
Speaker 9: It's the same same panel here with Joy and everybody here.
00:31:40
Speaker 2: So you don't not.
00:31:41
Speaker 12: All working class voters are members of unions, right, and so there's a huge sporting correct and I think that gets overlooked. And well, we can all say, but Donald Trump does absolutely nothing for them. That's true from a policy perspective, But they look around and somehow still they feel connected with his personality. They like the way he speaks, and he speaks to them and says.
00:32:04
Speaker 8: You are forgotten.
00:32:05
Speaker 13: You know what Joe Biden did. He forgives student loan debt.
00:32:08
Speaker 12: For college educated people who have all sorts of job opportunities. You continue to be forgotten.
00:32:15
Speaker 2: Well again, that's again I see. I think she's totally misreading this. She thinks that because that Joe Biden proposed and he didn't get all of them that he wanted to, and some of that still going on to forgive student debts, that that somehow should turn into votes where the majority of the people who have student loans paid them back, right, and then they felt slighted by this. Correctly, it did.
00:32:42
Speaker 1: Not buy you votes.
00:32:43
Speaker 2: It turned people against, of course it did. See, they don't see that, And that's what I don't understand. You can't. You can't Santa Claus your way in because when you're giving away gifts, you're taking them from somebody else. And that was just an and most people want you to earn your key. Yes, that is the American white.
00:33:03
Speaker 9: That was an effort just to buy votes with some of the most privileged people in our country. She's talking about them as the working class. Those are people with degrees. That's not the working class. That's some of the most privileged people on the planet. Is who Joe Biden was standing up for. And she's in the same breath says Trump is not for the working man. See Joe Biden is he bailed out people with degrees.
00:33:26
Speaker 1: Quickly on six because we got to get this in. Do you remember when we weren't allowed to talk about the cognitive decline of Joe Biden? Right right, Okay, please listen to NBC that now is pretending that they didn't pretend that he didn't have a home.
00:33:40
Speaker 2: Here we go.
00:33:41
Speaker 14: Well, and that's what makes the timing. I think of President Biden's decision to step down after the debate something that if she does, in fact lose, will be under a microscope because, of course, there was so much discussion even over the summer about potentially having an open primary and having that fight play out within the Democratic Party. So I think it's one of the big questions moving forward.
00:34:03
Speaker 2: You will hear somebody today, I don't know who'll be the first one. I don't know if they do it today or tomorrow. They will come forward and say would have been better off to leave Biden? Now, oh they're saying it already.
00:34:13
Speaker 1: Yes, well, and what she was saying, you didn't hear the whole clip. She's saying the problem was he dropped out too late. Yes, well, we were kept talking about his cognitive decline, and y'all told us we were being mean. And now you're saying he dropped out too late wine because of his cognitive decline.
00:34:27
Speaker 2: That's another common sense thing. You had the VP there telling you how sharp he was, and we could all see, we all have parents that have gone through that, we know what he's going through. And you know that they're just absolutely lying to your face. And that's another thing I think that common sense America rejected.
00:34:45
Speaker 1: We'll talk to you American next.
00:34:49
Speaker 7: Day.
00:34:50
Speaker 1: On the show's Jersey Day. A lot of you that can't see the show, you don't know that. A lot of you were asking watching the old Turner South clips, they said, man, y'all used to wear jersey all the time, why don't you start wearing some of those? We have to full of sort. Yeah, So today we're honoring the Rick and Bubba softball team that went into retirement at sixty three. And oh and these are all three of the jerseys are represented today. We had a black jersey, we had a Redmond, and we had yellow and all three of those are being represented today by various members of the team. So it is a jersey day today on the Rick and Bubby Show. To the phones we go. Let's go to Nashville, Tennessee, where Brett was standing by. Let me tell you something. I saw some a little bit of reports from kid Rocks Joint in Nashville, and it was hey, hey, it was Brett. You didn't get down to kid Rocks Joint?
00:35:43
Speaker 7: Did you didn't make it?
00:35:45
Speaker 1: I was working, Oh man, Okay, Well what's on your mind today, buddy?
00:35:50
Speaker 7: Well a couple of things. The first thing is that you follows ry Reeve's logic that we rejected Hillary Clinton not because she was an idiot, but because she was white. And then the other thing is is this morning, when I got up, I clicked on Google to find out the results of the elections, and I went to their homepage. There was absolutely nothing on there. I strolled down. It was all about sports and then the Tennessee election results. I cleared my cash and my cookies, same thing, went to Duck dot go, went to Google dot com, clicked on it, the same thing. No mention of the presidential election at all. I don't know if it was just my browser or if that's if that was what other people got to.
00:36:29
Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm looking right now.
00:36:31
Speaker 9: If I click on news, it's like the Pixel nine reportedly costs Google four hundred dollars in materials to make. There is zero presidential news on Google's news page.
00:36:41
Speaker 8: This is crazy.
00:36:42
Speaker 1: I wish y'all did I did on purpose? Thank you, bred I did on purpose. Today I dialed over on the radio to one of the big three networks on purpose. Oh yeah, okay, yeah, you have to go see what for that?
00:36:55
Speaker 2: And we got some clips.
00:36:56
Speaker 1: And if you could have heard the tone of the guy and those the things. What's those early ones? Early morning? I don't know what it's called which, Oh it's the.
00:37:06
Speaker 5: One their version of Fox and Friends kind of No is the early show.
00:37:10
Speaker 1: It's just that thing that's been around forever.
00:37:12
Speaker 2: A good.
00:37:13
Speaker 1: It's not called good. It's something at first light.
00:37:16
Speaker 5: Okay, I know.
00:37:17
Speaker 1: And you talk about down this was the last night Donald Trump as of right now, and shifted immediately to the bomb threats in the Swing States. No, that story became bigger than Trump winning.
00:37:29
Speaker 9: Yeah, okay, I found I did find I was a little off in my search. I'm trying to be honest and transparent.
00:37:35
Speaker 1: There's a concept I was a little bit.
00:37:36
Speaker 8: Off in my search.
00:37:37
Speaker 9: So if I if I dig a little bit deeper, I can find live.
00:37:40
Speaker 8: Election updates on Google.
00:37:41
Speaker 1: How far down it's I messed it up.
00:37:44
Speaker 9: What I said a second ago was wrong, and I'm just being honest and real, unlike most most of the media that we've seen for.
00:37:51
Speaker 8: The last five, six, ten, twenty years.
00:37:53
Speaker 1: Rachel, Welcome to Rick and Bubba.
00:37:54
Speaker 7: Go ahead, Hey guys, Rachel love in here.
00:38:05
Speaker 2: Yeah, go ahead.
00:38:06
Speaker 9: I'm really sad, right, well.
00:38:11
Speaker 7: So devastated this morning. I call it from from the bunker here in Washington, d C.
00:38:19
Speaker 13: They rushed us in there last night.
00:38:22
Speaker 7: Total fear in hysteria here.
00:38:26
Speaker 15: Yeah, I'm terrified at the Chase.
00:38:28
Speaker 7: We're terrified at the Chase sixers.
00:38:30
Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, you know it won't have to worry about him this year. It was things like Rachel that go back to the point we made earlier, you just start thinking that you don't understand the real world out there. It's the overplay of everything. Uh we continue, Let's go to Tammy out of Birmingham. Tammy, go ahead.
00:38:50
Speaker 16: Good morning, Rick and Baba.
00:38:51
Speaker 2: How are y'all? Tammy? How are you well?
00:38:54
Speaker 16: I'm good. I wanted to tell you. I went to bed early last night. I said, I'm gonna wait until the morning. In the morning to get my results of the election from Rick and Bubba, I'm just gonna wait.
00:39:05
Speaker 1: Oh good, So you you just got up today and heard.
00:39:08
Speaker 16: It from the show I did, And I'm just gonna say that I didn't listen to a speedy and Greg. I waited for you and Bubba to come and tell me about the election. I'm so happy.
00:39:19
Speaker 1: Well great, I'm glad that you're that was the decision that you were hoping for. And I'm glad you waited to hear it here because you knew. But here, by the time we got it, we can sort through it.
00:39:29
Speaker 3: Yeah.
00:39:30
Speaker 16: Yeah, I listened to you yesterday and I read your message again on Instagram and it just inspired me just to be anxious for nothing.
00:39:37
Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, it's you know again. Uh that however, it would have gone today. Uh, it would have been God's play. Like we say, sometimes things are blessing, sometimes their punishment, And on this one, we'll see which one it turns out to bath. Yeah, but it feels like it was a rejection of some things that I think we all think our country is better off going on record as rejecting. Well, we'll see. We continue. Donna out of Atlanta. Donna, go ahead.
00:40:08
Speaker 17: Hey, good morning, guys.
00:40:09
Speaker 2: Hey Donna.
00:40:10
Speaker 17: A couple of things. First, I just want to say thanks for all the years that you all have given us. You all are my one of my main news sources, and so I'm gonna miss y'all. But I just wanted to give you an interesting perspective on the voters, at least the ones that would admit to being Kamala voters. Here in Atlanta. The only people who I heard admit to be Kamala voters are those ladies who were her sorority sisters. And it was interesting to see how that shook out.
00:40:41
Speaker 1: How did Fulton County finally land. I mean, there was a lot of Fulton County. You know, what's going to happen here, What's going to happen there? In comparisons, and I know it went for Kamala, but they were saying it did not go for Kamala like it did for Biden.
00:40:57
Speaker 17: No, it sure didn't.
00:40:59
Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I think, thank you do.
00:41:01
Speaker 2: She and I don't have the exact numbers on it, but it looks like she underperformed in to Biden's numbers. Yeah, pretty much across the board. Yeah.
00:41:14
Speaker 1: I went to bed not long after, but they were breaking down, you know, the Fulton County Biden compared to Kamala, and they were saying that this is showing that shift that black men were going for Trump in a big way.
00:41:29
Speaker 2: And even though she probably still won the majority, it was not near the spread. You know. That was one of the things. I think the technology of election knot was even better than before. I mean, you know, they could go up to the board and hit a state and show you how they was going and how it went last time, and how it went in twenty sixteen or twenty twenty or whatever. I mean it was. It was pretty impressive numbers last night.
00:41:56
Speaker 5: I don't know how they.
00:41:56
Speaker 1: Were able to do all that, don't you agree, Because when you look at the gargantium and audiences that an Oprah A Springsteen. I can't come off top of how to just do the list sadly, even Cardi B and when you I don't know why, but apparently she does have a lot of people that follow her. But do you think it was a little bit of a wake up call for them that, hey, we may like what you do entertainment wise, if you're someone out there that does And I certainly like what some of these people who voted for kamalas. I like what they do as actors and musicians and things. Do you think this was a wake up call that people can be our fans and come to our shows and buy our tickets and watch our shows, but they couldn't care less what we think about how to vote.
00:42:39
Speaker 2: Well, I mean, yeah, I mean entertainers have an opinion too. They should be able to share. But I'm all about that. Yeah, it doesn't necessarily mean that, you know, people are going to be mindless robots and get in line with it. I mean, I like a lot of entertainers that I would have nowhere close to their political leanings.
00:42:57
Speaker 5: Right, Yeah, Rick, you asked about full and County real quick, commily got about seventy one and a half percent, and Trump got twenty seven percent in Fulton County.
00:43:07
Speaker 1: Okay, Georgia said that one more time, how did Biden do you that Biden twenty twenty says finally got back up to what his number was when I when I was going to bed, they were saying she was behind. How Biden did so maybe it maybe it did catch back up.
00:43:21
Speaker 5: He won fifty point eight percent of the vote in Georgia. Overall, she was at forty eight point five with I think ninety eight.
00:43:28
Speaker 1: Percent in so rural Georgia came through this that we asked him. Yeah, Josh, welcome to Rick and Bubba.
00:43:34
Speaker 2: Go ahead.
00:43:36
Speaker 7: Hey, I'm glad all the garbage voted last night. Democrat should have done more campaign the cemetery than what they did.
00:43:43
Speaker 1: Okay, well, yeah, alt Adler said. In the break, he said that he's convinced that some of the adjustments that were made after twenty twenty also played a role. He thinks this reveals how much tampering there may have been in twenty twenty.
00:43:58
Speaker 9: Uh huh, well, confidence, Rick, I told you that in confidence.
00:44:01
Speaker 2: Oh I'm sorry, I tell you there was a funny post that made it round the comment. Maybe there was There was a couple of Democrats that were discussing the results.
00:44:11
Speaker 1: You saw this or not.
00:44:13
Speaker 2: One of them said, wow, this is really going bad for us, you know, and the other one said, we may have really stole the last lection.
00:44:21
Speaker 5: Yeah, to your point, she got sixty six point two million votes right now, So you're telling me in twenty twenty Biden got eighty million, right?
00:44:29
Speaker 2: Yeah, that is that is hard weird, That is hard to believe.
00:44:33
Speaker 1: We'll be back more Ricking Bubbin next, Ricking Bubba, Ricking Bubbah. Not official yet, but all indications are that Donald Trump will be president again. I'm making him the forty seventh president and also the forty fifth president.
00:44:49
Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, it's one for the history vote.
00:44:54
Speaker 3: Rick, So.
00:44:57
Speaker 2: That's a great one.
00:44:58
Speaker 1: Bapteleon b Biden just called to con see the election.
00:45:04
Speaker 5: How about when kamalis uh spokesperson comes out last night says you're not going to hear from her tonight.
00:45:09
Speaker 1: Did she ever conceee? No, Somebody on the text line, Bubba explain this. They're saying, how how do all these analysts there's Greg, how do all these addies? How do all these analysts? Goodness, somebody can sit pop all down. I mean, right, you didn't even squat y'all get over? But no, how loved if you were singing something. And I'm going to guess this is exit polls, Bubba. They're asking how do they have all these gender breakdowns when you don't give your Oh yeah, they exit poll to death. And the way we are about gender, who knows? Well, what I'm saying is you saying nobody knows when you vote whether you're a man or a woman. How do they get this information?
00:45:57
Speaker 2: A lot of the stats people, you know, they were off averages and they're rick, they're right like sixty percent of the time.
00:46:05
Speaker 1: Right, here's Donald Trump. Uh, he's going to uh. Here's part of his victory speech. I think this happened like our time what.
00:46:17
Speaker 5: I think it was two thirty Eastern.
00:46:18
Speaker 1: I think I think you're right. So here's Donald Trump.
00:46:28
Speaker 18: Well, I want to thank you all very much.
00:46:30
Speaker 2: This is great.
00:46:31
Speaker 18: These are our friends. We have thousands of friends in this incredible movement. This was a movement like nobody's ever seen before. And frankly, this was I believe the greatest political movement of all time. There's ever been anything like this in this country. And maybe the.
00:46:57
Speaker 19: And now it's going to reach a new level of the bord because we're going to help our country.
00:47:05
Speaker 2: Heal, We're going to help our country.
00:47:06
Speaker 19: Hell, we have a country that needs help, and it needs help very badly. We're going to fix our borders. We're going to fix everything about our country. And we made history for a reason tonight. And the reason is going to be just that we overcame obstacles that nobody thought possible, and it is now clear that we've achieved the most incredible political.
00:47:33
Speaker 3: They look what happened?
00:47:34
Speaker 8: Is this crazy ash that's good.
00:47:39
Speaker 1: For Los Angeles legers choose Baron Trump from the first think about the last time that he got sworn in present, he was just look it, yeah, and look, this is something that is historic that has happened. But you know, Reagan winter forty nine out of fifty states. That was a pretty strong political it was. It was that was pretty dominant.
00:48:01
Speaker 2: It was.
00:48:03
Speaker 1: But I will say this, I will say this, and when on when they of course the email are you're all mad about it. But when he first started talking about wanting to be the candidate again, I was like, what, no way.
00:48:14
Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, as far as political comebacks, this is this is on up there?
00:48:19
Speaker 1: Well, there's another thing that I hope is going on here a little less obvious, but I know we're all thinking it too. If you are someone who votes to the right, I hope that the Republican Party here's this message as well. Not just the Democrats that they that they've left and gone. I hope the Republican Party so that when you start thinking that the Republican Party needs to bend a little and and some of in some of this direction, Uh are are you don't understand the popularity of Donald Trump? You might want to examine why he is popular with the people you need to vote for you too, That's right. So so anyway, here is ending the speech and really says something that is absolutely true about what brings people together.
00:49:00
Speaker 5: Here we go the people.
00:49:01
Speaker 19: We will make America save, strong, prosperous, powerful, and free again. And I'm asking every citizen all across our land to join me in this noble and righteous endeavor.
00:49:13
Speaker 2: That's what it is.
00:49:14
Speaker 19: It's time to put the divisions of the past four years behind us. It's time to unite, and we're going to try. We're going to try.
00:49:23
Speaker 7: We have to.
00:49:24
Speaker 19: Try, and it's going to happen.
00:49:26
Speaker 8: Success will bring us together.
00:49:28
Speaker 2: I've seen that. I've seen that.
00:49:31
Speaker 19: I saw that in the first term when we became more and more successful, people started coming together. Success is going to bring us together, and we are going to start by all putting America first. We have to put our country first for at least a period of time.
00:49:49
Speaker 8: We have to fix it.
00:49:50
Speaker 19: Because together we can truly make America great again for all Americans. So I want to just tell you what a great honor this is. I want to thank you, thank you.
00:50:00
Speaker 5: I will not let you down.
00:50:01
Speaker 19: America's future will be bigger, better, boulder, richer, safer, and stronger than it has ever been before. God bless you and God bless America.
00:50:12
Speaker 2: Thank you very much.
00:50:14
Speaker 1: So success will bring everybody together. Look you see that even when you football team, I mean a little success, those a long one.
00:50:21
Speaker 2: I'd like to see that to the captain of Talil success success together.
00:50:28
Speaker 5: Greg and I were talking off their earlier when this morning like just a sporting sporting analogy when your team scores and they haven't won the game yet, but momentum is changing and the whole atmosphere in the stadium changes. If you're the home team and things are turning around. I just feel like it's not going to happen overnight, but just just the country and even the stock market and things when they start seeing what's everything. Just the momentum is going to turn in the atmosphere. I hope turns to where it's the future, not just can you believe where we are? But it's going to take time, and we're gonna have to stomach some nasty politics of change because that's what's gonna have to.
00:51:09
Speaker 1: Happen, might like trying to put Trump in jail and impeach him and all that. By the way, somebody on the text said that the Blaze TV coverage last night was everything that we have been promoting. It said, it was really a breath fresh air and they really did a good job. And really, you know my whole thing with election coverage, and I know that we don't believe in any of this. I honestly thought that the Trump campaign was better off if I just wouldn't watch him.
00:51:33
Speaker 2: We go to bed.
00:51:35
Speaker 1: I'm not making a joke. I watched the episode one thousand Pounds sisters, I swear I did. It was worth it, Yeah, And I went to bed.
00:51:46
Speaker 8: I watched it at.
00:51:47
Speaker 1: Two point fifteen when the clock went off. This morning, I see Lisa over on her phone and she says he won, and I said, what you were so you needed to hear this? And Dared saying he gave a speech and everything, and I was like, you gotta be kid.
00:52:00
Speaker 5: I watched the college football playoff show, and then I watched gun Smoke and went to bed.
00:52:05
Speaker 1: So you got to get a little normousy. We'll talk about the college football playoff when we come back. We still got more will play too from the election last night, and more of your phone calls to take.
00:52:15
Speaker 3: Us ricking bubba, ricking, bubba.
00:52:19
Speaker 1: Bubba college playoff? Did we have that last night? Well, Bubba, it's not really the college playoff? Do you know why you have ste.
00:52:36
Speaker 2: So so last night?
00:52:38
Speaker 1: I'd like to hear Coach johnsonick, can you imagine?
00:52:42
Speaker 2: Still one of my favorite little clips I recorded on my phone once. Now we not.
00:52:48
Speaker 1: So, by the way, the view, the view today will have the most the biggest audience I've ever had. Oh yes, for all. Okay, so last night I'm not even going to attempt to understand it. I think I'm just going to enjoy it. They tried to give us an idea, and you said, they gave you all kinds of reasons that they said these these are the twelve as of right now. But this just this is who we think would be the conference champion based on what we know.
00:53:25
Speaker 5: And Greg made a good point, it's really no different than any other year. I mean, because they would have you're guessing on what you know to that week, on who you think is the best.
00:53:34
Speaker 1: I can change in a week. Sure, I got you.
00:53:36
Speaker 5: Come on, now, does that help you a little bit?
00:53:38
Speaker 2: It does?
00:53:38
Speaker 1: Look, I actually saw the list. You sent us a picture and I said, yeah, I mean I think that's right.
00:53:44
Speaker 2: I don't have a pro.
00:53:47
Speaker 1: So, yeah, I tell you what I was really interested in, which is another picture you sent us, was the strength of schedule. Yeah, with everybody, Georgia having the most difficult schedule. So, uh, this is what they put up on the board last night. And I think the way we can live with it is they think even if Ohio State just doesn't lose to anybody but Oregon, they still would be in the playoffs. Uh So here's Oregon one, Ohio State to Georgia three at seven in the schedule, Miami at four, Texas, Penn State, Tennessee, Indiana b y U, which that makes me sad them in I'm glad they're having a good season, but just something about that and it really doesn't and their why really does like yah? Uh So uh, there's the nine. What are the other two down there at I can't see. They're the Notre Dame of course, Alabama, Alabama, Boise State. A lot of people trying to get us to like them more than we do.
00:54:52
Speaker 6: Uh.
00:54:53
Speaker 1: And then down there at thirteen you got SMU who beat.
00:54:57
Speaker 3: Looking in.
00:55:00
Speaker 1: Remon See s m U, b YU beat s m U.
00:55:11
Speaker 2: Now now a close one with Ama sitting at eleven, l s U sitting at fifteen. Uh, this week's game is an elimination game.
00:55:22
Speaker 1: Yeah, unless something just horrible happens with other teams. I don't think three losses you can make the playoffs.
00:55:27
Speaker 2: It's gonna be very difficult.
00:55:29
Speaker 5: You're right, it's gonna And really we were talking about off air Georgia. They were talking about the path for Georgia. You know, they keep doing what they're doing. Of course they're all they're fine, But you lose to Ole Miss, you lose to Tennessee. I mean things look different. So but as of right now, uh, they've got B B YU win in the Big twelve just because of their ranking or b YU. Yeah they got they got Oregon winning the Big ten. That sounds so weird to say, Miami the A C C, and Georgia the SEC. So they all get buyas to the quarterfinals, and so by you would sit there and wait on the winner of Boise at Ohio State in the first round. Oregon would wait on the winner of Indiana at Tennessee in the first round. Miami would wait on Alabama at Texas in the first round. These are all corner finals. They get a boy too. And then Notre Dame is at Penn State in the first round, and Georgia would play the winner of that if it ended today, which it doesn't. And I know that bothers you, Rick, but that's that why No, fine, that would be just I'm just a little I was excited about the twelve team playoff.
00:56:34
Speaker 1: Oh wait, and I if I'm just being honest, I don't want by you in my first every twelve team playoff. I know, I know some of you know what they're doing. They're ruining they're ruining you. I can just imagine me walking up to an unknown stadium and somebody said, I got you a parking pass up front. We've got everything. We're going straight to the club level where there's fleet behind you the entire game in a bathroom. Who's playing b Yu.
00:56:56
Speaker 5: I'll be like, oh yeah, well it does look like though, from the way things look that the Big twelve is probably only going to get one team in and it's going to have to be the winner of the conference. But uh, we'll see how it plays out.
00:57:10
Speaker 2: That's it.
00:57:10
Speaker 5: The first two out is s m U in Texas A and M, but that could change depending.
00:57:14
Speaker 1: On So does Georgia play Old Miss this weekend?
00:57:17
Speaker 10: Uh?
00:57:17
Speaker 5: Yeah, Ole Miss host Georgia. Yes, it's the two thirty eight.
00:57:22
Speaker 1: Might be a tough one, you'd you'd be hard pressed to get me and I'll take Georgia.
00:57:26
Speaker 2: I know. But let me tell you Lane, they get fired up at home over there. Look out. Ole Miss is a good team, No they are, really.
00:57:33
Speaker 1: But they can't ever quite seem just to take that next step. You're right, they just can't quite seem to do get closed real.
00:57:40
Speaker 2: They get closed, and then they'll drop a game.
00:57:42
Speaker 1: And how'd y'all drop.
00:57:43
Speaker 5: That depends to the SEC. So they so Georgia they have They're at ole Miss and then they host Tennessee. They get past that, they got U Mass and then Georgia Tech to finish it out.
00:57:55
Speaker 1: Somebody's asking Greg, what's our beef with the b YU. We can't explain it. That's nothing personal, it's not there's no be I told you I saw a picture of their stadium in the mountains. It's really cool. Absolutely, there's just something about that team. I think I think we're if we were being honest, and it may be deep rooted and how you have things, you know, you know what it is.
00:58:14
Speaker 2: It's the Holiday Bowl. We've never got past it.
00:58:17
Speaker 1: And we won the national championship after winning the stupid Holiday Bowl. Because in those days, you talk about a bad system, conferences were tied to bowl games, no matter how small and and kibi and you couldn't get out of it. So their conference was tied to the Holiday Bowl. And we just struggled that our national champion that year was undefeated. Undefeated is that same year Debtver won the Heisman. We didn't feel like they played a tough schedule with some of the other people and then they go and win the Holiday Bowl. Could we could never get them to play a team that because of all the ties to these conferences to bowls, how did we tolerate system? I'll say that that's.
00:58:55
Speaker 2: One of the reasons we moved to the to the first what was the twos bcs, and then we went to four now twelve. I mean, I think all of that added. We had to have that pressure to get here.
00:59:08
Speaker 1: So if they can getting the playoff and they can win it on the field multiple games, I'll give them the props they deserve, but.
00:59:13
Speaker 2: I'm fitsing stepping on them here.
00:59:15
Speaker 1: On the Holiday Bow that year, they beat Michigan, I think, but Michigan had lost like six. Michigan went good.
00:59:21
Speaker 2: They weren't even good.
00:59:22
Speaker 1: So if people go, yeah, but we played Michigan, and now I may be wrong, you're prepared for those emails. You're preparing yourself for those studs. I think they played Michigan. Michigan was like it was a bad Michigan team. I think they were five hundred or lower. Right now, you're making them below five hundred six, Okay, But anyway, they weren't very good. No, and I forget who else was in the mix would have been Florida State probably back in them days, and they would have drilled them.
00:59:46
Speaker 2: Miami somebody what bubba there? It is.
00:59:50
Speaker 1: What doesn't make any sense is ORGANOSU can at the in the top four. I mean they're in the same conference.
00:59:56
Speaker 2: I know.
00:59:56
Speaker 1: It's you have all made that clear.
00:59:59
Speaker 3: We can't.
01:00:00
Speaker 2: You can't have hypotheticals. We learned that here on the self.
01:00:03
Speaker 5: It's the highest ranked.
01:00:05
Speaker 2: It'll work itself out.
01:00:06
Speaker 5: It's a four highest rank.
01:00:07
Speaker 2: It'll work itself out.
01:00:09
Speaker 1: I'm just a little down that BYU and Indiana are having great years. When I finally get a twelve team to play off. Yeah right, you're right, But that's all right. That's why you have a playoff. We'll find out how good they really are. There you go and if they win the games, well, I tell whoever wins the NASH Championship, aren't it huh.
01:00:29
Speaker 2: Well, that's the thing. If you uh b why you gets in, they'll have to they have to prove their weight. They won't be able to get there. They won't be in holiday bow. No.
01:00:39
Speaker 1: Fifteen minutes at the time of the hour.
01:00:41
Speaker 5: Is that what it is?
01:00:41
Speaker 1: Are we still better about the holiday backslid.
01:00:43
Speaker 3: Yeah, I think so, we'll be said, ricking bubba, ricking bubba.
01:00:50
Speaker 2: Uh bubba.
01:00:51
Speaker 1: We still have other things that we haven't end. The details at the manchuris dot com under events. We also have other clips that we haven't gotten to yet. Do you want to continue?
01:00:59
Speaker 10: Ye?
01:00:59
Speaker 5: Wish them.
01:01:00
Speaker 1: There's quite a little list here and I think we need to probably catch up with some of that. Do you want to just we never have we never have listened to or watched Jen Saki having to call the race for Trump own MSNBC. I don't know that they cut away before you know, Rachel Maddow pulled her hair out, but we do have that clip right right, so it should be too.
01:01:23
Speaker 9: Yeah. Yeah, And I noticed they don't show her during this clip, and I think it's because she's digging her fingernails into her own.
01:01:29
Speaker 2: Eyes or she could be I don't know.
01:01:31
Speaker 8: But here here it is.
01:01:32
Speaker 20: NBC News can now project that Donald Trump has won the state of Wisconsin, which means he is the winner of this race, and we returned to the White House. Is this country's forty seventh president. And for so many of you watching right now, that news is to say the least a lot to digest. I understand that personally. After he lost four years ago, he refused to accept the outcome and incited a violent insurrection on our nation's capital, pain while facing criminal indictments related to his efforts to overturn the twenty twenty results, and he's run as a convicted felon. He has also promised to essentially be an authoritarian leader, to use power like no American president and wield that power to go after his political enemies.
01:02:22
Speaker 8: That's what y'all, because he.
01:02:22
Speaker 20: Is a man who's also bragged about overturning roby Weed and stripping away when the bodily.
01:02:27
Speaker 1: At the stage Constitution.
01:02:31
Speaker 9: Down the rates of millions of the Americans.
01:02:37
Speaker 2: Can I tell you she just showed you why Donald Trump won. Yep, because of the absolute ridiculous claims that she's making. He didn't say that, he didn't gonna do that. Y'all drumped up this thing that's so ridiculous. Normal people just could not tolerate it anymore. That's the bottom line. He is not. That's something I guess Rachel made out maydaw or whatever whatever she gonna report to the concentration camp. She was going to be ridiculous.
01:03:12
Speaker 1: Well, somebody put on the text line, which is so true, how ironic, and they have said this, and she was basically saying it.
01:03:19
Speaker 2: How ironic.
01:03:21
Speaker 1: When you hear all these leftist organizations and people in a leftist party say that Donald Trump won by using fear and anger, that's crazy that that's like the person pitching a fit in front of you saying that that that their magic. Because you're pitching a fit.
01:03:37
Speaker 2: What are you talking about?
01:03:39
Speaker 9: The entire Democrat platform was Trump be afraid of Trump, be afraid of Trump.
01:03:44
Speaker 8: No policies, they had no answers, they had no.
01:03:47
Speaker 1: Screaming children with their parents are voting for Trump in a stroller? Have you lost your ever loving mind? They're the ones that were monioacal through this whole thing. Uh All, so here we go. We have you want to do? Jake Tapper shocked by the map showing that Kamala Harris did not outperform Joe Biden in a single county. Well, there's a reason for that that a lot of people think. But anyway, so here we go.
01:04:12
Speaker 21: So you asked, are there any places that the vice president is overperforming Joe Biden in twenty twenty.
01:04:16
Speaker 2: So we can show you that as well. We just bring that out here. Harris overperforming twenty twenty. Holy smokes, there you go. So let this go away and see if there's anything in the East Side.
01:04:25
Speaker 5: There literally nothing, literally nothing, literally not one county.
01:04:33
Speaker 2: At bally Zerokes zero. That has to be some of my favorite r Yeah, that is good.
01:04:39
Speaker 1: Jake Tapper also shocked that Georgia independents have all swung it appears to the right after twenty twenty.
01:04:46
Speaker 2: So here, here we go.
01:04:47
Speaker 9: Joe Biden won independent voters in Georgia when he won the state by nine points.
01:04:52
Speaker 1: So we've seen a swing of twenty points.
01:04:56
Speaker 9: Towards Trump in terms of the margin from nine point advantage for your to go with independence for Biden to now an eleven point advantage with independence for Trump in Georgia.
01:05:04
Speaker 2: Jake, Wow, you'll say that a lot, y'all. Here's Jake more Jake.
01:05:11
Speaker 1: Now with Anderson Cooper, they get to say they get to talk about the greatest comeback in history. So wow, yeah, Wow. The problem you said it before? Why don't they understand why they didn't? Wow?
01:05:23
Speaker 2: This is not just just what Jen said. Shows you why Trump won and why are even better? Why Kamala lost and Anderson? It is hard to think of a political comeback that is actually more significant than this one. I'm tempted to say Richard Nixon, but that really falls short of what Donald Trump has achieved. Yeah, I mean winning not just.
01:05:48
Speaker 22: The electoral uh, the electoral votes, but the popular vote as well.
01:05:58
Speaker 1: People saying on the text line under two, y'all think there's a chance to view, won't even do a show to that?
01:06:03
Speaker 5: Well, I asgree do you think they'll roll the best of they really could.
01:06:07
Speaker 1: Look, they're all gonna have puffy eyes. They've been up crying all night.
01:06:11
Speaker 3: End of the world.
01:06:12
Speaker 1: But if you want more of all this, there goes to ride the vote. Yeah, just keep it.
01:06:16
Speaker 2: Well, we don't have Stern and Oprah.
01:06:20
Speaker 5: You know, if you're the left and you claim the end of the world and then it doesn't happen, then what what do you do then?
01:06:24
Speaker 3: Right?
01:06:25
Speaker 1: But did you said which one?
01:06:25
Speaker 2: Did we do the Yeah?
01:06:27
Speaker 1: Four, it's gonna be very similar to what you heard Jensky say. It's gonna be very similar. It's just gonna be they're running all the things. To your point, Bubby, that got them beat.
01:06:37
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, we gotta come back here.
01:06:38
Speaker 8: And it's gonna be on PBS.
01:06:39
Speaker 9: So we're actually gonna be paying for that that tyridge you.
01:06:42
Speaker 1: Know, shouldn't if if we're all gonna pay for a you know, a channel or a place for information, shouldn't it be non biased?
01:06:50
Speaker 2: Oh, it should be. It's gonna be anifty fifty as you possibly can get. It's never been that way. That's been one of the problems with it, and that's why a lot of the conservatives want to do away with it. I don't know that we need it anymore really, with the diversity in the media. But if we're going to have it, let's make sure it's a really good, clean, fifty to fifty representation. Wasn't that problem?
01:07:12
Speaker 1: Wasn't NPR and PBS design that we everybody would have access to information, right, right, of course, and but we only get one point of view though, the right right?
01:07:24
Speaker 2: All right?
01:07:25
Speaker 1: So bobo, do you want to go to PBS first?
01:07:27
Speaker 7: Oh?
01:07:27
Speaker 2: Yeah, let's let's just run the list here.
01:07:29
Speaker 10: Now.
01:07:29
Speaker 1: Remember remember get these done, yea. Remember PBS is supposed to be the people's voice. There's information. You pay for this for your time to be sure the truth gets out. Yeah, all right, so so here here we go.
01:07:43
Speaker 23: I mean there's a shift, right, and then there's a shift to Trump and shifting to trump Ism, and you know, I'm looking at a lot of things, especially after David talked about looking at counties, and you know how Trump is gaining on what he did in twenty twenty. And to me, I am I'm mystified in some ways, simply because we're talking about it. Twice impaged, four times, indicted, convicted on thirty four felon accounts, former president.
01:08:19
Speaker 8: That's one bucket.
01:08:20
Speaker 23: Then in another bucket you have all of the things he's been saying on the campaign trail. That gets to the decency that the woman was talking about in that last report and how she wanted to vote for Vice President Harris because she didn't like that Madison Square Garden rally. I am just I am mystified that despite all of that, he's gaining support compared to twenty twenty. And it gets back to something I said earlier at some point one of the hours go that who are we as a country? And we're starting to find out and from what I'm seeing right now, I'm not sure I like it.
01:09:07
Speaker 1: I got good news, Say hey, I got good news. There's no fens around it. Yeah, there's no fits around it.
01:09:14
Speaker 9: Also, a lot of black people, a lot of Jewish people voted for that quote unquote nazi.
01:09:19
Speaker 8: So everything you're saying is false.
01:09:22
Speaker 2: But you know, this is one thing I hope comes out of this election. I wish people would get their terminology right. Okay. You can say a lot of things about Trump. You can say he's a convicted felon. You can say he's a bully, you can say a lot of things. He's not a fascist. You have that definition wrong. He's not a Nazi, you have that wrong. And he's not a hitler want to be you have that wrong. You have said in campaign that he was going to get his political opponents with a justice department. The only time we ever have documented case of that is what has happened now.
01:09:55
Speaker 1: Okay, So that that.
01:09:58
Speaker 2: Just doesn't resonate with normal people.
01:10:00
Speaker 1: They see through that.
01:10:02
Speaker 2: I don't know you you got so ridiculous, your claims and your prosecution got so ridiculous. You pushed a lot of people in the middle over to Trump. If you'd have left him alone, if you'd have left him alone, he might have even disappeared off the radar, but you galvanized his support by constantly prosecuting absolutely right every charge that was brought against him. His popularity went up.
01:10:29
Speaker 1: If they could have controlled their emotion and not gone emotionally diabolical, they probably would have never heard from him again. And the other thing is, and a lot of people are texting, this is what's happened to a generation of men that we stopped giving whole milk to and went to soy milk. But I will say that's a good one. I must say this again. He is saying the things that the people who voted y'all out are saying. I can't believe. I don't feel good about what's happened to my country. Y'all created a country that the people reject did And now he's got the audacity to say he doesn't like the country. Well, you don't like the country because we're not adhering to your demands. But what you don't miss, what you're missing is the the reason why you don't have the votes is most people don't want the world you're trying to force on everybody. So you can take your don't like this little world and go back to and go live in that world. The people of America rejected your world. Now you don't have to like the world they want, but they rejected yours.
01:11:30
Speaker 2: And that's that's it.
01:11:32
Speaker 1: And y'all could have won this thing easily. You're your own enemy because you can't control your emotions and you always overplay your hand.
01:11:41
Speaker 2: The head of the Democratic Party created the modern day Trump movement. Yep, they're more responsible for it than the Trump folks. Fact, they won't. They won't admit that. They can't in their soul, they can't admit.
01:11:55
Speaker 1: That you made him a martyr.
01:11:56
Speaker 2: You did. You should have just let him go, but you couldn't do it. You had you had to keep impeaching him even after he'd lost the election. I mean could not. You had to kick him in the butt on the way out, and everybody remembered it, all right, Greg.
01:12:10
Speaker 1: This person from Florence says, not only do they have a Blake Burgess, they have a Lisa Burgess. They have a brook not b Brooks. They have a Brooks singular for the female version of that, and even a great birds. Really isn't that weird talking about that? Butch, all right, so do you want to go to We got Chris Chris Wallace taking the energy out of the CNN studio. Well we have Scott Jennings. Yeah we don't. We have to get the Scott out. We've only got about three minutes left.
01:12:35
Speaker 5: Seven and eight can kind of go together because they say close to the same thing.
01:12:39
Speaker 2: Yeah, mister wonderful. Yeah, I saw him last night.
01:12:41
Speaker 1: But Jennings is two minutes long, so and the others are two nineteen and one's one minute. So we're gonna have to We're gonna have to pick one. So you want to pick Scott Jennings, Chris Wallace or Kevin O'Leary.
01:12:53
Speaker 2: It doesn't matter. Any of them will come back and pick the other.
01:12:56
Speaker 1: Let's do Scott Jennings. Okay, number nine, ready to roll?
01:12:59
Speaker 2: All right? Here he is.
01:13:00
Speaker 6: This is a mandate.
01:13:02
Speaker 24: He has won the national popular vote for the first time since for a Republican, for the first time since two thousand and four.
01:13:09
Speaker 6: This is a big deal.
01:13:10
Speaker 24: This isn't backing into the office. This is a mandate to do what you said you were going to do. Get the economy working again for working class Americans, fix immigration, try to get crime under control, try to reduce the chaos in the world.
01:13:27
Speaker 6: This is a mandate from the American people to do that. I think I'm interpreting.
01:13:31
Speaker 24: The results tonight as the revenge of just irregular, old working class American, the anonymous American who has been crushed, insulted, condescended to.
01:13:43
Speaker 6: They're not garbage, They're not Nazis.
01:13:46
Speaker 24: They're just regular people who get up and go to work every day and are trying to make a better life for their kids. And they feel like they have been told to just shut up when they have complained about the things that are hurting them in their own lives. I also feel like this election, as we sit here and pour over this tonight, is something of an indictment of the political information complex. I mean, we've been sitting around here for the last couple of weeks and the story that was portrayed was not true. I mean, we were told Puerto Rico was going to change the election. Liz Cheney, Nikki Haley, voters, women lying to their husbands. Before that, it was Tim Walls and the Camo Hats. Night after night after night. We were told all these things and gimmicks were going to somehow push Harris over the line, and we were just ignoring the fundamentals inflation, people feeling like that they were barely able to tread water at best.
01:14:42
Speaker 6: That was the fundamentals of the election. And so I think that.
01:14:46
Speaker 24: Both parties should always look at the results of an election and figure out what went right and what went wrong. But I think for all of us who cover elections and talk about elections and do this on a day to day basis, we have to figure out how to understand talk to and listened to the half of the country that rose up tonight and said we've had enough.
01:15:07
Speaker 15: God, God, God, God, Let's get him a position. Yeah, oh yeah, something nothing to add to that. Imagine him Press secretary, do a great job.
01:15:19
Speaker 1: Somebody's saying that one Williams and Carl Rove got into it after the race was called okay, because I think one tried to play the race card. I think Carl didn't take it very well.
01:15:29
Speaker 8: We said, whoa, he.
01:15:30
Speaker 2: Had his board out and he gave him some numbers of.
01:15:32
Speaker 3: That wet'll be right back on, ricking bubba, ricking bubba.
01:15:37
Speaker 1: That one Williams gets a little upset with this victory, like a lot of the leftist are he's usually pretty reasonable or can be reasonable is a better way to put it. Sometimes he's not uh, and it looked like that that he's upset and Carl Rove is not going to let him get away with it. Others begin to chime in as well, saying, you got a problem with this narrative here, and it's like one panicked and went back to racist racism again.
01:16:02
Speaker 5: Some white men, so here we.
01:16:04
Speaker 10: Go, hated the size of this mandate, as you call it. I think that there is even recriminations now among Democrats as to Biden and whether Biden should have dropped that earlier, or drop Biden should have stayed. Would a white male have done better? Obviously Trump has defeated two women and now a black woman, so there's all.
01:16:25
Speaker 2: Of these questions.
01:16:27
Speaker 10: But to my mind, it seems to me incredible that a guy who led a resurre insurrection against the United States government potentially now you know, like a phoenix going back into the Oval office.
01:16:40
Speaker 8: It's unbelievable.
01:16:43
Speaker 10: It's not sufficient to make up, it's not sufficient to have this kind of look.
01:16:48
Speaker 25: I just think it is extremely odd to suggest that black men are somehow prejudiced because they vote for a white candidate who says, I want to make certain that everybody has an opportunity to succeed in our great economy. I want you to be more prosperous, and I will do things that will make it possible for you to make a better life. That is, that is an appeal to their best instincts. He did not go out and say vote for me because I'm not a woman. Don't go vote for me because I'm a white man. That would not have attracted those votes. They got attracted to him because they thought he was a strong, effective leader, and they thought he would do something about the issues they cared the most about, which is an economy in which they think they get the short stick, inflation which has decimated their purchasing power, and illegal immigration, which has affected their communities deeply. And to suggest that somehow black men are racist because they supported a white man is just too far one.
01:17:43
Speaker 10: You're distorting my comments. But hold on, we're not saying most black men did not vote for Donald Trump. So I never said anything like that.
01:17:57
Speaker 8: That's just not your suggested It's only saying to you.
01:18:00
Speaker 10: No, I'm saying to you that in terms of this bro strategy for white males, the whole notion of I'm bad, I talk about women in the most dispirate, disparaging way. There's some men who just said, you know what I get into. I want to be in on that. I want to be a badass guy. And I think they like Trump's image and the character.
01:18:21
Speaker 25: I think they supported him in spite of that.
01:18:25
Speaker 1: Yeah, they just won't admit that their policies are flawed and Trump's policies gave people better lives. They just won't admit.
01:18:33
Speaker 5: That that's right. They don't have the ability to say, you know what, this is on us, it's our policies. To your point, it's always going to be, hey, the American voter did this or Trump this. It's never looking at yourself and going we're the problem. They're gonna blame everybody else. Now, America bad and don't forget to your point. Speedy one once again, like the left does too many times, takes a condescending attitude and call Rove tries to correct it and say, I believe he got support in spite of his negatives, not because of them. Only the left would think that you supported Donald Trump because of the most negative parts of his being not his policies, not the things he does. Well, what they're saying is he acted like a bad person. In most of America, especially white men are bad people, so they wanted some of that. And the black men who voted for him, they're bad people because they want to be condescending to women and speak ill of people. Really, the reason why Trump is being trashy is because that's what appeals to most of y'all.
01:19:37
Speaker 1: That's what they're saying. That's it.
01:19:38
Speaker 5: That's what they're saying, and it's and.
01:19:41
Speaker 1: Once again, that's why you lost because you can't understand this. And there's people who would might say I really didn't want to vote for Trump, but like I say, the alternatives, I voted for him yesterday in spite of the things about him I don't love. I think a lot of people did. Because we're trying to everything that Karl Rove said. The border has affected people's lives. It's affected black communities in a big way. It has affected everybody. The inflation has affected everybody.
01:20:15
Speaker 2: Our wages.
01:20:16
Speaker 1: Of course, they got this didn't come out to the election, was already underway. Wages across our country are down again. Okay, all of this is bad stuff, and it affects people's real life. Now, I know the left, a lot of y'all want you don't live in the real world, and you think that everybody's emotions and feelings that that's all everybody cares about. That's not what leads a lot of people. What leads a lot of people are the things they face in their everyday life. And your party has done a terrible job on the things that affect people's lives. And you just had America send you back home. Yeah, that's all that happened.
01:20:55
Speaker 2: I'm sorry that it or may it may really be as simple as we said earlier. Can quote Bill Clinton. It's the economy, stupid, you know, that's really the bottom line. And all of this and the president and the policies that the government makes does affect our economy. It is cyclical to some degree, but it's a combination of the two. And the cycle was down and people didn't like it. They wanted to change.
01:21:25
Speaker 8: I'm with you, guys.
01:21:26
Speaker 9: I voted for Trump not because of his personality, not because of the pigment of his skin, but because of his policies, not pigment, not personality, policies triple p.
01:21:37
Speaker 5: P triple p rick.
01:21:38
Speaker 2: All of this too brings back one of my favorite election comical moments. If we could see cut eleven here in a minute, we might want to wait till the next segment to see it. This is actually from the last election, but people were sending it to me again and it was so funny I could not. I mean, it just owns me.
01:21:58
Speaker 1: So when you yeah, because I've got people on the text talking about this. So what we have here didn't happen last night.
01:22:04
Speaker 2: No, twenty sixteen, but it's it's still a funny election. Not dealing with the media. Yeah, it was a historic event.
01:22:15
Speaker 1: Yeah, so you want it now? Or well, yeah, we can't get you got about forty second? Okay, okay, here we go.
01:22:21
Speaker 26: North Carolina shows Donald Trump leading Hillary Clinton in a possible presidential matchup.
01:22:26
Speaker 6: But that's not the part that's.
01:22:27
Speaker 2: Grabbing people's attention today.
01:22:28
Speaker 26: It is the third party candidate on that whole candidate named these nuts Oh no, really, a candidate registered as an independent from Iowa as the legal name of these Nuts no public policy Police showed him pulling nine percent of the vote in North Carolina.
01:22:47
Speaker 1: What about the guy in the background, He's going oh no, oh, no, seriously.
01:22:52
Speaker 2: His name, he's in on it.
01:22:53
Speaker 1: I mean, so they a curious not to do what he's saying.
01:22:57
Speaker 2: It's birthday list that we gave. Dave Fitz said we'll come back, and then he said, he pulled those numbers.
01:23:08
Speaker 1: We'll take your unbelievable Trump has been called the victor. We think the Senate rolls over to the Republicans the House. Who knows how that's going to shake out.
01:23:26
Speaker 5: May take a few.
01:23:27
Speaker 2: Days for that, but you're gonna give you the latest.
01:23:30
Speaker 1: Yeah, I want a speedy total is a minute ago that the Republicans are up by about twenty seats, I think, but still need to get the two eighteen for to be official.
01:23:41
Speaker 2: Yep, right now, just in the in the barn rick, so to speak. In the Senate, the Republicans have fifty two seats and the Dems forty two, so there's still a lot to be called here. If these latest numbers are correct. You have anything different, speed.
01:24:00
Speaker 5: Yeah, I just dimmed. I have They just added one DEM's forty three, fifty two Republican.
01:24:04
Speaker 2: Okay, and uh, there's still several out now on the House side. There's a lot more that are not reporting. Yeah, there's like twenty seats still up, but the Republicans have the lead.
01:24:18
Speaker 7: Yeah.
01:24:19
Speaker 5: Seven.
01:24:19
Speaker 1: So anybody, what do y'all think? How do you think the stock market's going to go when it over?
01:24:23
Speaker 2: The futures were up twelve hundred this morning, almost thirteen hundred at one point. So, uh, it's positive response in the markets. So you know, of course, a lot of people saying, look, Trump's already helping the economy out.
01:24:40
Speaker 7: Saw.
01:24:40
Speaker 1: We're in Alabama at Auburn University, where they normally roll Tumor's corner when Auburn wins a victory. They've have a backlog of inventory, oh buddy, on.
01:24:51
Speaker 2: The total paper, which they've been saving it up for years now, as matter of fact, So they use they used it last night celebrating Trump's victory.
01:25:00
Speaker 5: Yeah, so they did, they did. I saw some videos coming from different universities around the country where students were running to the quads of the university celebrating, screaming, hollering.
01:25:10
Speaker 2: Yep. So, Speedy, what did you did you say just second ago in the Senate, I was looking at these numbers from another source. Uh, they're showing fifty two forty two, You said, it's fifty two forty three.
01:25:23
Speaker 5: That's what Fox News have.
01:25:24
Speaker 2: Yeah, six seats still to be called in the Senate racery. So the Republicans looked to be in pretty good shape there in the House, one ninety eight to one eighty with fifty seven still to be called.
01:25:38
Speaker 1: So and that's what you heard in the mage pretty close. And the magic number in the House is two eighteen to eighteen.
01:25:42
Speaker 2: Yes, let's it.
01:25:43
Speaker 1: So there we go. I mean it's possible. Senate looks real strong. So it looks like Trump will have the Senate. Uh, if the representatives come through, he could have he could have all of Congress and the Executive branch on the right all right, as far as majority, So we'll see. And you know, and a lot of people are saying that yesterday the strategy of be too big to rig may have also worked. I don't know.
01:26:09
Speaker 2: Cardi B. Cardi B.
01:26:12
Speaker 1: Cardi B. You remember us saying why would you even want Cardi B's endorsement? So Cardi B's upset. I know a lot of you upset with that. Now, a lot of you on the live programming today. The show will end thirty minutes earlier than normal, so we can get popcorn and get ready for the view. No, but anyway, so just kidding, Cardi b is not happy, Boba. She's very upset and she is. She puts some comments out when people were asking her to come to the Trump inauguration. She says, I swear to in all kinds of language, that she's gonna mess those people up that said that get away from me. I'm sick of you, burn your blanking hats blankety blank. Really sad, I swear once again to Little g God because I don't think she knows that one. And on the Living God, I'm really sad. And then she's taken this one down. But there was something she put up on video here it is filter on She has since taking this down. She did one of those weird filters where her head looks like an alien. Yeah, which maybe it's not a filter, maybe she's got a wig off, but but here here she is.
01:27:24
Speaker 2: This is why some of your states spaghetti hurricanes. That's all I'm gonna say. Not even the hurricanes happen when your guys are in there. Yeah, I hate if we're going to go down that alley.
01:27:42
Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah, so stupid, you don't know anything.
01:27:47
Speaker 3: Yeah.
01:27:48
Speaker 2: So I don't.
01:27:50
Speaker 5: That's all I'm gonna say that, poor Cardi.
01:27:53
Speaker 1: So she says that states have been hit by hurricanes because they supported Trump. But as Bubba inconveniently pointed out, the hurricanes were while y'all were actually in the executive right.
01:28:06
Speaker 2: I don't think we can draw a conclusion.
01:28:08
Speaker 1: And we've had hurricanes in just about every administration.
01:28:11
Speaker 2: Craziest thing, Rix, We've had hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico before it was called the Golf of Mexico. Yes, and we will continue to have them as long as this earth persists.
01:28:24
Speaker 1: By the way, people are telling me they've checked on Morning Joe and they're in the full blown it's going to be okay, everybody breathe. So now we go to let's look at cut eight. Chris Wallace. Yeah, you know, they brought Chris over to CNN. He's about to drain the energy out of the room by pointing out what we were just discussing, that it may be bigger than the executive office. So here is Chris Wallace's courtesy of CNN.
01:28:50
Speaker 21: I mean, let's talk about the significance of a Republican Senate. If and I repeat, if Donald Trump is elected president. It means that they can confirm without any Democratic votes, any appointment he makes to his cabinet, to the to the government, to the Supreme Court, should there be a vacancy. It's an enormous advantage to a president. And at this point we haven't talked about it much. But in the House, although that hasn't been decided yet, the Republicans have flipped three Democratic seats. The Democrats haven't flipped a single Republican seat. So there is the possibility here of a complete United Republican government with Donald Trump as the president and with a Republican House and Senate, which means that in terms of appointments, in terms of immigration policy, economic policy, environmental policy, you game it. He could he could have a pretty blank check.
01:29:51
Speaker 1: Yeah, but that went overwhell in that room, so cut ten. People have been asking about this. This is a Trump victory party. Uh, that was going on, and a classic hymn broke out at this and people have been sending us something on the text about this. That's when we've seen that. So here it is. They did say, unfortunately, for a while Trump thought the song was about him. They had to clarify that. But that's a pretty good choir just to pick up.
01:31:20
Speaker 8: So they must have been an acchoir on the weekend.
01:31:24
Speaker 1: And also breaking news, Kamala Harris reportedly calling Trump to concede the election. That that's happening right now in real time. So that's that's what's breaking news right now is happening top of the.
01:31:37
Speaker 3: Aricking Bubba ricking Bubba.
01:31:41
Speaker 1: And everybody say hello to Bill, Bobba bass Rick. Glad to be.
01:31:44
Speaker 2: Here and thank all of you for joining us. Yes, there will be life after the election. It is every time. Yes, we will have to come together and try to get something done.
01:31:54
Speaker 1: You know.
01:31:54
Speaker 2: The tough part for the Republicans now is to actually get some things done. No, it is. He's got to go to work.
01:32:00
Speaker 1: Yeah, and let me tell you this. The same people that went out which I would speedy. We keep saying record turnout, but we're still twenty million shy of what Joe Biden allegedly had people turn out for him.
01:32:13
Speaker 2: Is that right?
01:32:14
Speaker 1: I know, we can't go back. Look, that's over, that's behind us. Let's move forward. But it is interesting, Yeah, because when you see the alleged votes for Biden versus Kamala and even Trump this time, it just feels weird.
01:32:31
Speaker 5: Well, he had right at eighty million, right and Trump had seventy five seventy seven I can't remember. And you look where they are now. She's got sixty six point four million, he's got seventy one point three million. So that's obviously very shy of where they were.
01:32:45
Speaker 2: Yeah.
01:32:45
Speaker 1: So anyway, and there's a lot to do, but I will tell all of those including of course Trump won't be coming back, but he'll represent a party. This will be his final four years, which I still believe, whether some of you that voted believe it or not or wont to believe it. I think the Democratic Party might have said, let's not waste a red shirt. Uh and they sent out Kamala Harris and Tim Wallas, which could there have Has there ever been a more let I mean, a less intriguing ticket than Tim Walls and Kamala Harris. That's that is, That's like you're not even trying now?
01:33:17
Speaker 5: Uh hey, how how uncomfortable because me I would be with that secondhand stuff the inauguration. Every former living president endorsed Kamala and they're all going to be there for his inauguration. What that what's that gonna be like that tension.
01:33:30
Speaker 1: And well, it's a little awkward for the Chinese right now, a little awkward for the even the Bush family. The Bush family, even though.
01:33:38
Speaker 2: The Bushes were quiet in this, I'll give them this, they didn't go they didn't work against him. Now some of the rest of them, you know, it's it's I don't know that they'll.
01:33:47
Speaker 5: Show up now, coming out actually not coming out for him was working against him.
01:33:52
Speaker 1: Right, But at least he didn't do what.
01:33:53
Speaker 5: The Chinese did.
01:33:55
Speaker 2: Change.
01:33:56
Speaker 1: They were all in, come on. Uh, he just stayed out of it. And he has every right to do that.
01:34:02
Speaker 5: So I'm just thinking all them lined up on the first and second row and there they stand.
01:34:06
Speaker 1: It's going to be Yeah, it will. It will be very awkward and also though, but finishing the point is the same people that is going to put the Republicans in will be the same people that will hold you accountable if you don't do anything. Oh yeah, the reason why everybody you.
01:34:19
Speaker 2: Don't get something done, they'll sit at home next time.
01:34:21
Speaker 1: Yeah, you better change what we're doing right now and you better get something done.
01:34:25
Speaker 2: All right.
01:34:25
Speaker 1: We've been talking about all the different meltdowns on the left, which are always a blast. Can you imagine really more fun than the elections? What do you think the woman who screamed at Trump's inauguration in twenty sixteen, where is she now? Remember the one that was just let me just screaming and losing her mind?
01:34:42
Speaker 8: Yeah? I saw somebody. You guys know the scream movies.
01:34:45
Speaker 9: Yeah, somebody put scream too and then put her face on the coming.
01:34:48
Speaker 8: Yeah, funny, it'll be screaming again.
01:34:50
Speaker 1: I guess somebody info me, you know, I believe it or not. I don't dial over to Morning Joe, but somebody says Rick, just so y'all know, Joe is not there today. It's it's just mecause he got out, and we're wondering if the view will go on today? Are run the best?
01:35:07
Speaker 2: You know? We thought about knocking off early, about thirty minutes here and trying to get some popcorn, so when the view came home, we'll see, all right.
01:35:17
Speaker 1: Well, I didn't know about this when everybody started texting about it, and it is in this story we had about Joey Reid calling Florida a bunch of fascists because they didn't do what she wanted. But now somebody said that Van Jones actually cried.
01:35:30
Speaker 8: Come on, I think he gets emotional here.
01:35:33
Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a bit of an exaggeration.
01:35:34
Speaker 9: Think so okay, And then speaking of exaggerations, here's here's his stuff.
01:35:39
Speaker 22: Because I'm thinking about the people who are not a part of anybody's elite who are hurting tonight. There are African American women who know a little bit about being talked down to.
01:35:52
Speaker 2: Oh, I know a little bit about having their economic dreams crushed.
01:35:55
Speaker 22: Gosh, who tried to dream a big dream over the past couple of months, And tonight they're trading in a lot of hope for a lot of hurt. And they were hoping that maybe this time, this time, one of their own could be seen as worthy, and once again they're facing rejection and that hurts. They thought tomorrow morning, they're going to walk out with their shoulders back a little bit, may be able to breathe for the first time and feel like they belonged someplace. They did everything that they knew how to do, and it's gonna be harder than it should be tomorrow for them to hold their heads up. And they're not the only people who are hurting tonight. If you're a trance, if you're a parent of a trans kid, your child's face was used as a springboard to power for somebody that doesn't feel good. They're gonna be people tomorrow. We're gonna be handing clothes with the dry cleaners to people who don't have papers. They're gonna be people who are gonna be cleaning your teeth tomorrow who don't have papers. And they're terrified tonight. And so it's easy to blow this off. Oh, look at the elite, they're gonna get their come up with. It's not the elite that's going to pay the price. It's people who woke up this morning with a dream and are going to bed with with with a nightmare.
01:37:13
Speaker 1: This goes on, and I noticed she left out hard working Americans that don't know how they're going to afford groceries. I think they feel pretty good today.
01:37:20
Speaker 2: Yeah. I think a lot of people he's talking about that can't hold their head up. If they go to the supermarket in the next ninety days, I think they're gonna feel better.
01:37:27
Speaker 1: By the way, can he show me the black women that get talked down to.
01:37:30
Speaker 2: I don't see that.
01:37:32
Speaker 1: I don't see a lot of powering black women out there.
01:37:35
Speaker 9: Also, trans kids don't exist, right, That's just that's just that's just confused kids.
01:37:40
Speaker 8: Man, Just let them grow up.
01:37:41
Speaker 1: My goodness, man. Also forgetting the eight years that we had a black family in the White House running the free world. Eight eight years, two terms in a row. And as you said, Greg Kamala was vice president. Kamala didn't get the votes because she's a bad candidate now because she is a woman of color, as white as snow. She was now she was picked to be the vice president because she's a woman of color. Now that because that's what he said, Because he said that, I don't have to I don't have to speculate on that. That's what the that's what Biden told us.
01:38:09
Speaker 2: So on a positive, your policies were not working, they were not good, and you didn't you didn't portray you didn't you didn't communicate them in a good way. I mean, the the lack of your ability to think on your feet and and and laugh at the right time not the wrong time, and and just to answer basic questions on how you're going to be different than Biden was and and she couldn't do that, and look it was an incredibly difficult thing. You had to claim success but run against that success. Yeah, I mean it was I don't know how you would do that. I wouldn't want to have to do that.
01:38:47
Speaker 9: At least popular vice president I think of all time, or maybe in a generation. But hey, on a positive note, for Kamala Harris, I noticed that she did exceptionally well in states that don't require an id.
01:38:59
Speaker 2: Oh all right here it comes all tadler.
01:39:02
Speaker 8: I'm just that was encouraging.
01:39:04
Speaker 1: I'm trying to encourage, encourage it, right. Yeah, Well, it's this speech that Van Jones just gave is just the same. It's just the people he just described have a better chance now.
01:39:20
Speaker 2: They do.
01:39:20
Speaker 9: And when you look at what what the elites, who, what party donated to who? The Democrats received way way more funding from the elites, from big companies, from big corporation.
01:39:32
Speaker 1: They're a party of elitists.
01:39:34
Speaker 9: Absolutely.
01:39:35
Speaker 1: And then when you look at he has nothing to say, nothing to say about how people felt when they were called Nazis, when they were called garbage, when they were called racist, bigots, misogynists, deplorables, deplorables, uneducated, stupid, dumb. I noticed he left all that out because that's what his party did to a lot of people that voted for Trump.
01:39:57
Speaker 2: But that's okay, But.
01:40:00
Speaker 1: How they're anyone say thing negative about the Democrats? Right, we'll be back fifteen minutes past the hour. We'll go phone calls again, next America talking today. As you can imagine, all ten lines are available. We'll chat with you, find out what is on your mind. If you haven't had a chance to comment today, we'll give you that opportunity when we come back. Eight six six. We be big when the Rick and Bubba show continues.
01:40:25
Speaker 3: Ricking Bubba, ricking Bubba.
01:40:29
Speaker 2: In less votes than we did in the last election. Now, that doesn't seem possible based on the turnout we've seen. But is that because that some of these states are still up in the air and they haven't declared and put their total.
01:40:42
Speaker 1: You know how many we still like got out?
01:40:43
Speaker 7: Four?
01:40:44
Speaker 2: Yeah, you got Nevada, Arizona, Alaska, Alaska, Michigan. It looks like are the four that I see, right?
01:40:52
Speaker 5: Yeah, and I think Michigan's getting close. So they got almost ninety eight percent in and he's still he's still almost one hundred thousand eight. I think that one's close.
01:41:01
Speaker 2: Yeah, it's razors thin. But maybe that's why they haven't put those totals in that that looks odd, I know, because a lot of people say, well, there's twenty million less votes. I don't know that that will will pan out when it's all said and downe.
01:41:14
Speaker 5: Well, don't you think a lot of it just because everything was online online? This dropped this off last time, you know.
01:41:21
Speaker 1: Could be you know, we saw all the stuff with the boxes and all that Babylon b You know how they love a great headline. Election officials will share everybody things are looking good and you can just go to sleep and they'll take care of the rest of it overnight. That's pretty funny. So yeah, yeah, and experts confirmed if you'll just constantly refresh the election map eventually will go the way you want it to.
01:41:43
Speaker 2: Yeah, just keep on clicking.
01:41:44
Speaker 3: Yeah.
01:41:45
Speaker 1: So we also stolen valor Gregy. Like this man wears eye voted sticker that he bought on Amazon. That's pretty good.
01:41:57
Speaker 9: Well, you don't need a sticker. I'm an adult, you know. I don't need a sticker to vote, although I did drop mind. So if anybody knows where I can get one, please let me know.
01:42:06
Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, you got to you gotta wear you sticker.
01:42:08
Speaker 5: Yeah that's good.
01:42:08
Speaker 1: That's one that you're on the way out. I mean, that's one of those things. Yet proudly, you know Florida is trust me. I was in school a long time. I never got a sticker.
01:42:18
Speaker 8: I really want my sticker. I lost it. I was really sad.
01:42:22
Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe that's the answer to all that.
01:42:25
Speaker 1: Every time our teacher would put something up this is what you get for good conduct or good grades, I thought, well, there's another one.
01:42:30
Speaker 3: I won't get.
01:42:31
Speaker 1: No gold stars, no gold stars. I remember I remember looking at my classmates that had gold stars, and I was like, I wonder.
01:42:38
Speaker 2: What that would be like.
01:42:39
Speaker 3: I must feel good?
01:42:41
Speaker 1: All right, Have y'all noticed this on this you know, we just did a commercial about you know, the natural products versus all the pharmaceuticals, and you know, we've all this is not a new joke, but I want to take something I heard specifically, we've all done the joke, and I a lot a lot of stand up guys had done the joke. When you listen to say, a sixty second commercial and about thirty seconds of it is all the bad things that can happen to you if you take the drug, and they just they just keep this. I'm not trying to say that our society because we we have all said it seems like society is going backward, it's devolving. There does appear to be a little bit of that.
01:43:16
Speaker 2: Doesn't you only have heard this?
01:43:18
Speaker 1: I think, I want I want to say, the product is what's what's that Mom has taken?
01:43:24
Speaker 2: What's that?
01:43:25
Speaker 1: Oh, what's the name of it? Eloquess, eloquence? I think it's the eloquence AD And they say the word paralysis, couldn't call paralysis, And then the guy goes, meaning you won't be able to move?
01:43:39
Speaker 2: And I thought, we know what?
01:43:40
Speaker 1: God, I mean the guy the definition home.
01:43:46
Speaker 2: Have you caught that way?
01:43:47
Speaker 18: I have?
01:43:48
Speaker 1: Not taking this product could result of this this paralysis meaning you won't be able to move? And I was like, I think we all know what paralysis as our society. Do we not know what paralysis.
01:44:02
Speaker 2: Could include?
01:44:02
Speaker 8: Loose stools and suicidal ideations?
01:44:05
Speaker 3: I'm out.
01:44:06
Speaker 8: I'd rather have high cholesterol.
01:44:08
Speaker 2: My goodness.
01:44:11
Speaker 1: Mom told me, she said they were watching when Dad was alive. There wasn't one of those commercials that rifled off. He goes, ain't no way.
01:44:18
Speaker 2: I take that she goes, you actually do Dad did.
01:44:26
Speaker 1: Dad did everything his own way, even even all the things about Alzheimer's that it was horrible, Dad still wrote through Alzheimer's in his own way. One of his greatest moments was when he was asking Greg what doctor they were at. Yeah, and it was supposed to be the doctor that's supposed to be helping him with with neurologists like that, and what are we doing here? And Greg was like, we're here to see the dark?
01:44:48
Speaker 2: What doctor?
01:44:49
Speaker 1: And he's like, the the neurologist, the one is trying to help you with.
01:44:52
Speaker 2: He goes. The guy's trying to help me.
01:44:54
Speaker 1: Yeah, I said, when you memory, he goes my memory, ain't he said?
01:44:58
Speaker 2: He said, he ain't working.
01:45:01
Speaker 1: He's like, he ain't getting much known, he ain't having much success.
01:45:07
Speaker 5: So when y'all were trying to move your mom and dad and he had the boat out, and you talk about how he would find things dumpsters. Yeah, he would go in the dumpster and find things you were trying to throw away.
01:45:20
Speaker 1: Thrown away, he'd get it out and for some reason there was a boat seat.
01:45:23
Speaker 2: He was fired of him.
01:45:24
Speaker 5: Yeah, that's what it was.
01:45:25
Speaker 1: He wouldn't lost away a boat seat that you don't even have your boat in a boat, but you can use them in a lot of points.
01:45:31
Speaker 5: Did find the garage again?
01:45:33
Speaker 18: Well?
01:45:34
Speaker 1: And then the thing I always enjoyed, I just I just enjoyed it so much. Anything that made him angry that he didn't know where it was, I would tell him Greg hadn't. Yeah, that thing. I did that over and over when it where's my truck? I said, Gregor's got it for some reason?
01:45:48
Speaker 8: What's doing?
01:45:50
Speaker 1: I said, you know what Greg is? And every time you go, I'll never see it again.
01:45:55
Speaker 2: Where are my fishing rods? I said, I got him every every single time?
01:46:01
Speaker 1: But but yeah, yeah, well yeah, well I will say you did you? I know you've claimed some stuff your own that was clip.
01:46:11
Speaker 2: For that gun?
01:46:12
Speaker 1: I know, but it just doesn't seems to say it should have been better than a flip. There's no telling what that gun because he.
01:46:20
Speaker 5: Lost that gun?
01:46:21
Speaker 1: Is that gun you have? Well it really, I'm I'm gonna retire it. What we'll all share it? No, I know he wants you to have he thinks you had it anyway, that's true, Yeah it was.
01:46:33
Speaker 5: I think I did you take good care of it like he did.
01:46:36
Speaker 1: Yeah, that's one of the reasons why I don't need to take it, because Dad took care of his guns the way Bubba does, you know. But Dad acted like he lived like an only child, but he wasn't one, you know. I mean, he did not like anybody mess with his stuff, and his stuff was gonna be the way it was gonna be. And I don't know if he was just I never really experienced O c D. I think that good, gracious everything had to be like you.
01:47:00
Speaker 2: You don't.
01:47:00
Speaker 1: Mom said that he would listen to this. He would come home from hunting. He would go to the washer and dryer, get out the scent blocked detergent, wash everything he wore that day in the scent, I mean, just got home from hunting, wash everything, put it right back into the scent locked thing. He had to kept it in, and then put it up. He washed it as soon as he came back in every single time. And then he would sit down and clean his gun every single time. He cleaned the outside, and he would if he shot, he would clean the inside as well every single time. And he'd get mad at me because I wouldn't tie stuff down in the back of the truck. He can't come out. It ain't it's like stuff and we have to turn upside down for the come out. You need to tie that down. There's no way that can come over the side of the truck. We would have to do a flip.
01:47:47
Speaker 5: It's funny you said that, because that's one of my memories. I for some reason, I was just riding, but y'all put me in the truck with him. He always had to have his truck and he had the little rope and he had to tie it down there.
01:47:57
Speaker 2: Sometimes's no way. It's coming so heavy.
01:47:58
Speaker 5: You could hardly lift it back there, and he's like, tie that down, boy.
01:48:01
Speaker 1: Yeah, my favorite was sir. My favorite was he wouldn't write a check for a four wheel drive truck, so he would keep his Chevy thrill on the column and put sandbags over the back wheels. Yeah, he said the weight, Hell.
01:48:13
Speaker 2: It does.
01:48:15
Speaker 1: He didn't have that much.
01:48:16
Speaker 2: He hadtoo giants.
01:48:18
Speaker 1: We had mud grips on the back.
01:48:19
Speaker 2: I'm talking about middle of.
01:48:20
Speaker 1: The I'm talking about military sandbags like they used for the double over the over both the wheels.
01:48:28
Speaker 2: Well, then if you get stuck though, you take the sand out through it in there. You get out a deal us man.
01:48:34
Speaker 1: Yes, Kitty letter Bubba, you were the son he never had.
01:48:37
Speaker 3: We'll be right back, rick ricking Bubba.
01:48:42
Speaker 1: Haven't Oliarry Bubba, mister wonderful. We haven't heard from him yet. Uh he he tried to warn the nation, uh, saying we we gotta have something happened with this economy. And he said Trump's plans are better than what the left is doing. Uh and uh he he says that this is an indictment and own the state of the Democratic Party and the faces of the Democratic Party are probably going away. Now we'll say here he.
01:49:08
Speaker 6: Is, how do you read this?
01:49:11
Speaker 13: I'm going to stay on this theme for a moment and call this perhaps the greatest night the Democratic Party can ever have if they lose. And let me explain that I was very troubled just over one hundred days ago when they circumvented the democratic process and anointed somebody. The analogy is easy to a super Bowl. You arrive at the super Bowl game, and by any measure, this is the super Bowl of global politics, the presidential race. Your quarterback, Biden is injured, he's taken out of the game. You don't bring a quarterback in that's never ever ever won any game anywhere you run a process, and they missed that opportunity. This is a chance for them to I'm not saying they're going to lose, but I'm going to those percentages and saying they get to reboot, They get to go back to the center, they get to scratch this whole thing. And the influences of a Shoom or a Polosi or a movie star or an Obama deciding to anoint somebody. Those guys are gone in four years. They won't have that kind of influence. This could be great for America. Because I'm an investor, I have to work with who's ever in the White House in January. But I care about policy, and when I hear policies coming out of a party that are so twisted against the American way of life, like basically taxing capital gains that are unrealized, that's not America, or price controls, that's not America. Twenty eight percent tax rate takes us to the bottom quartelth competition. That's bad. We can't do that. That would hurt the country. And all I do is work with entrepreneurs that want to build businesses There's a reason people come here under bob wire and drowning rivers to get into America. It's the American dream. It's the only thing the president has to do is to maintain it. Those policies are against the American dream. And I have nothing against Harris. I mean, look, she did a masterful job in getting to where she is. It would be good for them to lose tonight. It would reset and reboot and get that party back to the center.
01:51:18
Speaker 8: It would be good for them.
01:51:19
Speaker 13: They may not want to hear that. We don't, but they may have to.
01:51:27
Speaker 1: Well, we say locally, how about He's absolutely right. It's what you said on the first hour today that some of the Democrats, you know, they agree with O'Leary.
01:51:37
Speaker 2: Yeah, they think they've got out over their skis too far.
01:51:40
Speaker 1: Well, but he makes a good point strictly on investment. You can't have a corporate tax rate at twenty eight percent.
01:51:47
Speaker 2: What about a tax rate on unrealized game You can't tax unrealized gains, and you can't do price controls.
01:51:55
Speaker 1: Those three things, as he just said, are Unamerican, and they'll destroy the ability to be an entrepreneur. And the entrepreneur and The entrepreneurial spirit is what drives this country, as he said, gives people hope that you can come here and create your own thing too. That you have those three things going, you can't create anything.
01:52:13
Speaker 2: The government cannot survive. The country cannot survive without private business. That's who they tax to get their money. And without that, you can't tax government workers and make the government payroll. It doesn't work. So you have to have things. And it's amazing the government's bigger, bigger, bigger, more payroll, more payroll, and they're doing everything they can to kill off small.
01:52:39
Speaker 1: Business, which is their bloodline.
01:52:40
Speaker 2: It just does not make any sense at all. If you're in business, you know that.
01:52:44
Speaker 1: So this law first, this loss could be a good thing for the Demo Credit Party and may let's get like he said, he has to invest. I ard him say this last night before I went to bed. He goes, I've got to invest in businesses tomorrow, no matter what happens. Yeah, and I got to work with whoever's there. But the Democrats have taken themselves out of being a desired party to be in.
01:53:05
Speaker 2: My position now on the Republican side, now you've got to do something. You're gonna have the tools. You've got to see your promises. And I think they have a bigger problem down the road.
01:53:14
Speaker 3: Rick.
01:53:14
Speaker 2: We talked about it in the break a minute ago. You've had Donald Trump, who is a populist president, okay, and the Republicans, while we agree with a lot of their policies, they have historically not had the most colorful personalities. Now Trump gave them a populous twist that they have not had since maybe Teddy Roosevelt Reagan was a Populason. But now where do you go from here? Jd. Vance is We've been very impressed with him, but will he have the charisma that Donald Trump had? What a DeSantis have the charisma? The next Republican candidate is going to appear to be boring after watching Trump. So they're gonna have issues that they've got to to do. They're going to have to do a good job and run on their records and only hope.
01:54:04
Speaker 8: I do think jd.
01:54:04
Speaker 9: Vance does a better job of presenting some of these things that we seem to as a nation all agree upon, or you know, judging by Trump's victory, I do think so. In a lot of ways, Trump's Trump's persona in a lot of ways I think hurt us too, though you know, it's a kind of counter your point bub of other candidates being boring candidates. I think that he's so easy to vilify because he sometimes says silly things. They'll make stupid jokes, and that I think has hurt us in the past. So in a lot of ways because of that, I do look forward to when Trump will not be the person that we have to get behind.
01:54:39
Speaker 2: While still holding some of these policies that well, you may want the policies, but I promise you the rallies are going to seem bory very true.
01:54:46
Speaker 8: Well absolutely smaller, probably smaller rallies.
01:54:49
Speaker 1: Well, I think that you can have both of those worlds without the negative. But you're gonna have to be smart, yep on who you put in there. You can't go so far away from Trump that that people can't even listen through them because they're so monotone and boring. But I think you can take it, And I think JD evance may be that where you can still have personality and excitement but also be able to communicate in a focused way without chasing every rabbit uh and and and being able to get the narrative clear and.
01:55:21
Speaker 2: Easy to It'll be challenging. It can be done, but it's gonna be changing.
01:55:25
Speaker 5: Can we celebrate last night? Yeah?
01:55:28
Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, that's fine.
01:55:30
Speaker 9: I guess you spoke a cigarette, buddy.
01:55:35
Speaker 8: I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
01:55:36
Speaker 2: That's fine, man. Yeah, okay, let your hair down and he lets you.
01:55:40
Speaker 8: Use his jersey, boyfriend and girlfriend. Stop saying we're not. I just I'm the only one to have a jersey.
01:55:48

Speaker 2: How are you Rick? I'm good? How are you, sir? Well?

01:55:48
Speaker 3: Ricking Bubba.
