On this episode of March Forth with Mike Bauman, Mike chats with Chris Steele & Billy Butka of Sucker Punch!
Comprised of Steele (Lead Vocals), Butka (Lead Guitar), Andy Katz (Vocals/Guitar), Giulio Bozzone (Guitar/Vocals), Tyler Patchell (Drums) and Will Smith (Bass), Sucker Punch is an East Coast pop punk band with heartfelt lyrical content and strong musicianship.
Drawing influences from the likes of Thrice, The Story So Far, Coheed and Cambria and Taking Back Sunday, Sucker Punch's sound is described as a bridge between early 2000's emocore and the current emo and pop punk movement.
On this episode, Chris and Billy talk with Mike about their friendship, how Sucker Punch came together, writing personal and heartfelt lyrics, balancing the business side of music, mental health, and more.
This episode of March Forth with Mike Bauman also features Sucker Punch's latest single "Trip McNeely," available where you get your music!
