Setting and more importantly, honoring boundaries and expectations within your business is foundational to both your success and wellbeing. This week, episode 50 of MAKING WEBSITE MAGIC is about boundaries and expectations for web designers and developers!
The Making Website Magic School of Business is NOW enrolling. Are you consistently booking dream projects & making the money you desire in your web design business? OR are you undercharging, questioning your skills, spinning your wheels & saying yes to anyone who will pay you? You CAN have a thriving web design & dev business where you consistently work with aligned clients who actually respect you and pay you well.
In this episode of Making Website Magic, Sam & Karyn are sharing the freedom and relief you can feel once you embrace boundaries and expectations and actionable steps you can take right now to set boundaries within your business that make you feel good and center your web design and development business.
Here are just a few of the things we discuss during this episode:
- Boundaries are an opportunity to both honor our needs s as individuals as well as our business’s needs.
- Reframing the idea that boundaries are about controlling others by instead clarifying that our boundaries are about setting guardrails for ourselves.
- Communicating your boundaries not only eliminates confusion but opens the door to building trust with your clients or prospects.
- How we can get started setting up these boundaries and expectations and how they might show up in your business.
If you walk away with one thing from this episode it is that your boundaries are based on your own needs and not the needs of anyone else - and that’s okay. You alone get to decide your boundaries. Be sure to tune in to all the episodes to receive empowerment to step boldly into your web design business and to hear even more about the points outlined above.
