David Greschler, CEO & Co-Founder of NomadGo and one of the original founders of Softricity, joins Jason E. Smith to discuss the early days of application virtualization, the evolution of App-V, and the innovation he’s focused on today.
They look back at how Softricity started, why software delivery was such a major challenge for IT teams, and how the need for simpler, more reliable application management helped shape what later became Microsoft App-V.
The conversation also connects that history to today’s Windows application challenges. Jason and David discuss why many enterprise apps are still business-critical, how modern solutions like FlexApp and FlexApp Sandbox are helping IT teams move forward, and how David’s work at NomadGo is using computer vision and AI to solve real-world inventory problems.
