Happy Fourth of July to all of our readers tuning in from the United States! We’re celebrating with another wonderful interview, this time with poet, author, and playwright Chuck Rybak, author of “Drag Me Away” which we had the pleasure of publishing in For Page & Screen Issue 9! Join us as we talk with Chuck about his experience carrying ideas across forms from poetry, fiction, and scripts and the excitement that can come from jumping into something new. He also shares with us his perspective on how writing and education can have such a vital place in our lives, focusing on what he’s seen as a professor both in a traditional college setting and while teaching incarcerated students. You won’t want to miss this!
You can find out more about Chuck Rybak and read his work through his Substack, The Declining Academic, and you can stay up-to-date about the performance of “Drag Me Away” by checking out the World Premiere Wisconsin website!
