How does a 16-year-old high school dropout become the leader of an economic powerhouse?
In this episode, we sit down with Mayor Patrick Hall, City of Canning, the man who spent 24 years on the frontline of policing before making an unthinkable pivot into the beauty industry, and eventually, the Mayor’s chair. This isn't your typical political interview; it’s a masterclass in organic leadership, the psychological toll of community service, and a "no-nonsense" look at why the system is broken.
Mayor Hall breaks his silence on the Australian housing crisis, calling out the "lazy politics of division" and explaining why he refuses to "bend the knee" to state interests. We explore the emotional reality of an ageing population, the danger of ego in leadership, and why he believes we need to stop using the word "multicultural."
