A masked panel at Socialism 2026 in Chicago says fitness is “a measure of disposability under capitalism,” Ozempic is “fascistic,” and — real quote — “the more dysgenic, the better.” So I went back to the 2019 DSA National Convention to see how we got here… and found delegates banning clapping, warning about “aggressive scents,” setting up marshals to report anyone talking to police, crashing their own voting server, and voting on whether to vote on voting.
It’s sad. It’s concerning. It’s also the funniest tape I’ve ever been handed for free. I play the clips, you be the jury.
