Backdraft with Casting Director Jane Jenkins and former Firefighter/Film Consultant Steve Chikerotis

Rich and Craig open the show with Backdraft casting director Jane Jenkins. They ask her what it was like to work on so many of Ron Howard’s movies, how exactly did she cast the authentic-sounding Chicago firefighters in Backdraft, and why casting another famous film was a real challenge! Later,  Hollywood consultant and former firefighter Steve Chikerotis discusses how he transitioned from the real thing to making movie magic, what it was like training actors to become believable members of the CFD, and how a surprising last-minute change completely transformed Backdraft into a crime thriller.
