WEBVTT
1
00:00:10.439 --> 00:00:13.880
Good morning everyone, good evening, good afternoon wherever you are,
2
00:00:13.919 --> 00:00:17.239
and welcome to this week's Weekly Energy Boost. My name
3
00:00:17.280 --> 00:00:20.519
is Elisheva, and today Aton and I are breaking down
4
00:00:20.879 --> 00:00:24.679
the secrets to facing your shadow. And if you've been
5
00:00:24.719 --> 00:00:26.600
listening for any amount of time, you know that in
6
00:00:26.640 --> 00:00:31.199
Kabbalah we call the shadow, the opponent, the ego satan.
7
00:00:31.719 --> 00:00:33.600
But this week is really.
8
00:00:33.359 --> 00:00:38.799
One of those powerfully powerful packed weeks where we get
9
00:00:38.799 --> 00:00:43.000
the support and the awareness to see so clearly the
10
00:00:43.039 --> 00:00:47.520
way that our own personal opponent blinds us, tricks us,
11
00:00:47.880 --> 00:00:50.920
gets us to think it's us or that it's someone else.
12
00:00:51.280 --> 00:00:56.039
And I'm so excited to share these not only teachings, secrets,
13
00:00:56.119 --> 00:01:01.359
but also practical examples of how our opponent not only
14
00:01:01.520 --> 00:01:05.519
hides within us, but also hides from us our strengths,
15
00:01:05.599 --> 00:01:09.879
our gifts, and our greatest opportunities for growth. Weekly Energy
16
00:01:09.920 --> 00:01:12.519
Boost is a seven day spiritual weather forecast where we
17
00:01:12.599 --> 00:01:15.879
provide our listeners with the most practical and powerful tools
18
00:01:15.879 --> 00:01:18.680
to navigate the coming seven days. We do that by
19
00:01:18.719 --> 00:01:22.239
gleaning through the wisdom of Kabbalah and extracting the tips,
20
00:01:22.319 --> 00:01:24.840
the tools, and the teachings that are going to serve
21
00:01:24.879 --> 00:01:28.200
our listeners most not only this week, but literally any week,
22
00:01:28.400 --> 00:01:31.480
any day, anytime of our lives, and because we have
23
00:01:31.560 --> 00:01:36.359
this unique opportunity to focus in on again. One thing
24
00:01:36.359 --> 00:01:40.040
I always caution myself about when bringing up this topic
25
00:01:40.159 --> 00:01:43.879
is when when people learn about the concept of the
26
00:01:43.920 --> 00:01:49.000
opponent in our classes, in the books, it's very easy
27
00:01:49.040 --> 00:01:51.439
afterwards to take that knowledge and look at the world
28
00:01:51.439 --> 00:01:55.079
around you and say, oh, that's my husband is definitely
29
00:01:55.120 --> 00:01:59.239
in control of his or being controlled by his opponent. Oh,
30
00:01:59.400 --> 00:02:01.640
you know, my mother and law is definitely, you know,
31
00:02:01.760 --> 00:02:03.079
manipulated by her opponent.
32
00:02:03.120 --> 00:02:03.879
That's her opponent.
33
00:02:04.400 --> 00:02:07.480
The goal of these teachings is to reflect inward and
34
00:02:07.519 --> 00:02:11.280
to use them on ourselves, not to weaponize them and
35
00:02:11.400 --> 00:02:13.719
use them on others. This is definitely one of those
36
00:02:13.759 --> 00:02:17.240
concepts that changes how you look at the world and
37
00:02:17.280 --> 00:02:19.719
how you look at how people operate. But the most
38
00:02:19.719 --> 00:02:22.960
important value that it has is it can change.
39
00:02:22.719 --> 00:02:25.159
How you live your life. So, Atan, how do you
40
00:02:25.319 --> 00:02:26.879
how do you want to begin this conversation?
41
00:02:28.879 --> 00:02:32.159
So I'm excited about this conversation, and I'm excited about
42
00:02:32.159 --> 00:02:35.000
the energy of this week that gives all of us
43
00:02:35.159 --> 00:02:42.080
the strength to expose the lies of the opponent. Within
44
00:02:43.919 --> 00:02:47.800
and by doing so, being able to access our soul,
45
00:02:48.000 --> 00:02:56.840
access our light, and leverage that awareness towards miracles in
46
00:02:56.879 --> 00:03:02.319
a growth because of the one of the important statement
47
00:03:02.400 --> 00:03:06.840
I would love to share, which is very very essential
48
00:03:06.919 --> 00:03:11.479
cabalistic principles. While all of us have an amazing, beautiful
49
00:03:11.639 --> 00:03:16.039
soul and we have endless potentials and endless light within us,
50
00:03:16.319 --> 00:03:20.360
in order to be able to access that light, I
51
00:03:20.599 --> 00:03:26.560
need to overcome the opponent within in Each one of
52
00:03:26.639 --> 00:03:32.199
us have different journey in this world, and that opponent
53
00:03:32.400 --> 00:03:36.240
manifests itself in different ways. The opponent is the force
54
00:03:36.479 --> 00:03:41.000
that when we are listening to it, and most of
55
00:03:41.039 --> 00:03:44.159
the day weire is listening to the opponent. So we
56
00:03:44.319 --> 00:03:53.000
naturally gravitated towards selfishness, reactivity, self doubts, worries insecurity, judging others,
57
00:03:53.120 --> 00:03:57.199
not accepting reality, not seeing our soul, not seeing the
58
00:03:57.240 --> 00:04:00.520
good in others, seeing two good in others. Something is
59
00:04:00.560 --> 00:04:04.680
wrong with me. So we all have it. So number one,
60
00:04:04.960 --> 00:04:08.240
to know that the Creator created the opponent in order
61
00:04:08.280 --> 00:04:12.680
to test and elevate humanity. That's our job, that's our journey.
62
00:04:13.240 --> 00:04:20.240
So today will be dedicated some tools around revealing the
63
00:04:20.319 --> 00:04:23.120
lie of the opponent and what is the practice. But
64
00:04:23.199 --> 00:04:25.680
before I would love to share a story from the Torah,
65
00:04:26.720 --> 00:04:30.920
a story from the Torah that in this weekly portion
66
00:04:32.120 --> 00:04:42.240
that described the fight, the war, the wrestling between Jacob
67
00:04:43.560 --> 00:04:49.519
and the negative angel, the wrestling all night until the morning,
68
00:04:52.920 --> 00:04:58.480
and Jacob won. That angel that represents own opponent, that's
69
00:04:58.519 --> 00:05:04.480
the decordifying the tour or couldn't control Jacob and he
70
00:05:04.519 --> 00:05:11.839
asked Jacob, please release me, and Jacob share said, before
71
00:05:11.839 --> 00:05:15.360
I release you, I would like to know your name,
72
00:05:17.480 --> 00:05:23.759
and that angel representing the opponent within answered why do
73
00:05:23.839 --> 00:05:26.439
you need to know my name?
74
00:05:28.000 --> 00:05:37.959
And you released him, so the angel didn't really answer
75
00:05:38.839 --> 00:05:41.319
you just answered with another question, why do you know what?
76
00:05:41.600 --> 00:05:44.000
You need to know my name? And one of the
77
00:05:44.079 --> 00:05:51.199
amazing lessons that roth Berg shared is when Jacob asked
78
00:05:51.560 --> 00:05:57.759
the angel, in order to teach humanity, what what what's
79
00:05:57.839 --> 00:06:03.279
your name? Name represents? And what is your essence? What
80
00:06:03.439 --> 00:06:09.600
is your strategy? How do you manipulate mankind? What's your
81
00:06:09.720 --> 00:06:17.319
main tricks? And the angel slash the opponent answer, actually,
82
00:06:17.759 --> 00:06:21.040
my main strategy, I do not want people to know
83
00:06:21.199 --> 00:06:26.399
my name. I'm always hidden. If it will be so
84
00:06:26.639 --> 00:06:29.639
clear that every second of our day will see, Eh,
85
00:06:29.800 --> 00:06:34.480
that's my opponent. I'm judging someone, I'm upset by something.
86
00:06:35.240 --> 00:06:38.639
We are blinded. And the fact that we know that
87
00:06:38.680 --> 00:06:45.360
I'm blinded and I need to hack that system of
88
00:06:46.199 --> 00:06:50.279
not seeing the opponent within, that's a good beginning. Is
89
00:06:50.439 --> 00:06:54.759
always hiding. So now we want to share with you
90
00:06:56.160 --> 00:07:02.399
tools and examples. How do you recognize in the course
91
00:07:03.160 --> 00:07:10.360
of a day the opponent within? Because recognizing it and
92
00:07:10.399 --> 00:07:15.360
then going the opposite of the direction the opponent takes us,
93
00:07:16.079 --> 00:07:21.439
that's what allows us to actually extract power, light, strength,
94
00:07:21.959 --> 00:07:27.279
miracles accessing the next level. So what would be the
95
00:07:27.399 --> 00:07:32.839
steps Elisheva you would recommend for me?
96
00:07:33.000 --> 00:07:33.680
Personally?
97
00:07:34.279 --> 00:07:39.560
The teaching that really shifted me into.
98
00:07:40.720 --> 00:07:41.560
A more.
99
00:07:42.839 --> 00:07:44.920
I don't think the word is aggressive, but at least
100
00:07:45.079 --> 00:07:50.639
more active role in chasing down my opponent and being
101
00:07:50.720 --> 00:07:54.720
more clear and aware of its effect on me was
102
00:07:54.759 --> 00:08:01.879
the idea that if I want to if if I
103
00:08:01.920 --> 00:08:04.560
want to do what my soul came to do, if
104
00:08:04.560 --> 00:08:07.360
I want to fulfill my soul's purpose in this lifetime,
105
00:08:08.160 --> 00:08:11.120
the best indicator of the what I'm meant to do
106
00:08:12.120 --> 00:08:16.720
is the things that make me uncomfortable. That if I
107
00:08:16.720 --> 00:08:20.720
if I don't want to do something. And it sounds
108
00:08:20.720 --> 00:08:23.439
a little sadistic, But if I don't want to do something,
109
00:08:23.560 --> 00:08:28.360
if I'm apprehensive, if I'm i'm I, I come up when
110
00:08:28.360 --> 00:08:30.240
I when I come up with the reasons to put
111
00:08:30.279 --> 00:08:32.960
it off, to tell someone else to do it, to
112
00:08:33.399 --> 00:08:39.080
pass the buck, to avoid I know that's my my
113
00:08:39.200 --> 00:08:44.240
opponent telling me stay safe, stay comfortable, don't make effort,
114
00:08:44.519 --> 00:08:47.600
your effort is enough. You're you're you're not you know
115
00:08:47.639 --> 00:08:51.279
those those catchphrases other people are doing.
116
00:08:51.039 --> 00:08:53.600
Worse, right, Like you're not that bad?
117
00:08:54.000 --> 00:08:56.840
That that that voice that really I think that the
118
00:08:56.840 --> 00:09:02.480
opponent is so afraid of us being fearless, being powerful,
119
00:09:02.799 --> 00:09:06.320
being strong for me at least, And I know the
120
00:09:06.399 --> 00:09:08.320
voice of the opponent is going to show up differently
121
00:09:08.360 --> 00:09:12.679
for every individual, but maybe by us sharing different modes,
122
00:09:13.039 --> 00:09:16.039
we can reach everybody out there who's listening and help
123
00:09:16.080 --> 00:09:21.240
them to identify there is definitely a focus for the
124
00:09:21.279 --> 00:09:22.279
opponent to.
125
00:09:22.360 --> 00:09:24.200
Keep us stuck and to keep us still.
126
00:09:25.000 --> 00:09:28.759
So when you hear that voice right telling you don't bother,
127
00:09:28.879 --> 00:09:31.440
it's not worth it, you can't make a difference, You're
128
00:09:31.480 --> 00:09:32.840
not that impactful.
129
00:09:33.200 --> 00:09:34.240
What's the big deal.
130
00:09:35.440 --> 00:09:40.399
There's so many all of those stay small and stay safe.
131
00:09:41.279 --> 00:09:44.600
Suggestions come from the voice of the opponent.
132
00:09:45.120 --> 00:09:47.840
I love it. So tool number one that you share,
133
00:09:48.840 --> 00:09:52.559
ask yourself a question, maybe at the end of the day,
134
00:09:53.320 --> 00:09:56.399
based on what happened today or the beginning of the day,
135
00:09:56.679 --> 00:10:07.759
towards the coming day, what am I avoiding? What's conversation
136
00:10:07.919 --> 00:10:16.080
I'm avoiding? What investment of energy I'm avoiding, What confrontation
137
00:10:16.240 --> 00:10:23.279
I'm avoiding? What commitment avoiding? There's a constant voice, subtle
138
00:10:23.519 --> 00:10:27.279
voice of the opponent, belief of the opponent's suggestion to
139
00:10:27.480 --> 00:10:32.960
avoid doing or not doing something. So that will be
140
00:10:33.039 --> 00:10:36.559
the first tool. I would like to go to another tool,
141
00:10:36.639 --> 00:10:45.879
and then we'll give practical example. Every time we don't
142
00:10:45.919 --> 00:10:58.559
feel at peace, it's a hidden hint that the opponent
143
00:10:58.679 --> 00:11:02.519
is controlling me through my own thoughts, because we know
144
00:11:03.840 --> 00:11:09.679
the opponent operating many levels and belief systems in thoughts.
145
00:11:09.759 --> 00:11:12.600
So I would like to speak a little bit about thoughts.
146
00:11:13.600 --> 00:11:21.240
So so I'm upset, I'm anxious, I'm bothered, And let's
147
00:11:21.240 --> 00:11:26.039
start with interactions with other people. You see someone doing
148
00:11:26.080 --> 00:11:32.120
something that potters you, you just judge individual that is
149
00:11:32.200 --> 00:11:36.279
not relating to you, or you judge someone that is
150
00:11:36.360 --> 00:11:43.080
relating to you. We all day long have moments that
151
00:11:43.279 --> 00:11:47.960
I'm set off and I'm disturbed and I'm not at peace,
152
00:11:48.000 --> 00:11:51.399
And it doesn't have to be major reactivity. It can
153
00:11:51.440 --> 00:11:57.960
be just I'm off, I'm bothered, I'm upset. So every
154
00:11:58.039 --> 00:12:04.919
time I am with someone else, I always pause and
155
00:12:05.039 --> 00:12:09.679
go back to my thoughts and asking myself, what is
156
00:12:09.799 --> 00:12:16.320
the thought that causes me to be disturbed now? And
157
00:12:16.360 --> 00:12:19.399
if you're really honest with yourself, the thought is it
158
00:12:19.480 --> 00:12:24.519
shouldn't be this way. It's thoughts of the opposite of
159
00:12:24.759 --> 00:12:29.200
accepting that reality in front of me is exactly the
160
00:12:29.240 --> 00:12:35.080
way it should be. Because every time I believe the
161
00:12:35.200 --> 00:12:39.960
thought they should have done it, they should have been
162
00:12:40.000 --> 00:12:43.480
more thoughtful. I don't like the way they've done it.
163
00:12:43.559 --> 00:12:48.240
Already have done it that thought. I don't like what
164
00:12:48.279 --> 00:12:53.360
they've done. They should have done better. They must change,
165
00:12:54.440 --> 00:12:59.759
They must understand me. They don't get it. That thought
166
00:12:59.799 --> 00:13:03.480
by itself, when I believe in it causing me pain.
167
00:13:04.440 --> 00:13:10.320
It's very simple. Any suffering on experiencing from emotional or
168
00:13:10.320 --> 00:13:15.639
physical start with the thought of the opponent within me
169
00:13:16.639 --> 00:13:20.279
that causes me to have lack of acceptance of the
170
00:13:20.480 --> 00:13:26.440
present reality. If I've all ever thought, it's exactly that's
171
00:13:26.440 --> 00:13:29.360
how they behave, that's who they are. I might need
172
00:13:29.399 --> 00:13:33.240
to need to share something and to contribute something and
173
00:13:33.279 --> 00:13:37.759
maybe to to have discussion with them, But first they
174
00:13:37.919 --> 00:13:41.360
shouldn't have done it. That thoughts by itself, when I
175
00:13:41.440 --> 00:13:47.320
believe in it cause me suffering. So any suffering that
176
00:13:47.399 --> 00:13:51.759
of that first question my thoughts how I see life?
177
00:13:52.240 --> 00:13:55.440
And then there's a second layer. The second layer, h
178
00:13:57.919 --> 00:14:05.639
why the pa of that person disturbing me? What is
179
00:14:05.679 --> 00:14:10.720
the specific thing about what they said, what they've done,
180
00:14:11.320 --> 00:14:15.600
what bothers me about them that can teach me lesson
181
00:14:15.720 --> 00:14:23.600
about myself. So I'll give fast two examples. So the
182
00:14:23.679 --> 00:14:30.000
person that I know just shared with me how it
183
00:14:30.120 --> 00:14:35.720
is upsetting that he revealed the person that is dating
184
00:14:36.559 --> 00:14:42.360
cares too much and attached too much the relationship about
185
00:14:42.399 --> 00:14:50.360
the fact that he has a lot of money, and
186
00:14:50.399 --> 00:14:54.000
it was revealed to him that that's a major factor
187
00:14:54.799 --> 00:15:02.960
that she one things she's attracted to you. So so there's
188
00:15:03.000 --> 00:15:08.720
two layers, and we spoke about layer number one. Maybe
189
00:15:09.159 --> 00:15:15.480
maybe she's attracted to the money too much. Maybe not.
190
00:15:15.840 --> 00:15:21.120
You're not sure because we're not subjective. Nevertheless, is that
191
00:15:22.000 --> 00:15:26.360
thought she wants my money, helping you to be at
192
00:15:26.399 --> 00:15:29.799
peace or not. And I'm not suggesting be blind who
193
00:15:29.960 --> 00:15:33.440
is next to you, but just first reflect she wants
194
00:15:33.480 --> 00:15:37.200
my money? What as it does to your heart? Closing it?
195
00:15:37.480 --> 00:15:40.200
She wants my god, she wants my money. So actually
196
00:15:40.200 --> 00:15:43.240
the opponent the first thing making the other person you opponent?
197
00:15:44.240 --> 00:15:47.840
She is who she is. I'm not sure this relationship
198
00:15:47.879 --> 00:15:53.200
will go through part of my life. Is I have money,
199
00:15:53.960 --> 00:15:58.919
Let's see, I'm open. Of course I want a sole connection.
200
00:15:59.559 --> 00:16:01.960
But they go to the thought she wants my money.
201
00:16:02.000 --> 00:16:04.759
She wants my money, closing my heart, causing me to
202
00:16:04.799 --> 00:16:09.559
be more judgmental, creating cold energy. That's number one deeper
203
00:16:09.679 --> 00:16:15.360
layer and asking the question, is it the first time
204
00:16:15.639 --> 00:16:17.799
that you think, or you believe, or you see or
205
00:16:17.840 --> 00:16:21.000
you recognize the person next to you? Actually, she only
206
00:16:21.039 --> 00:16:25.399
wants my money, he said no, So ask yourself a question.
207
00:16:25.480 --> 00:16:29.840
If there's a pattern, what does it teach you about yourself?
208
00:16:30.559 --> 00:16:33.559
Because we would like to learn about my own opponent.
209
00:16:34.320 --> 00:16:37.879
Now you focus on their opponent, my own opponent. I
210
00:16:37.919 --> 00:16:40.840
want to open myself for truth home What does it
211
00:16:40.919 --> 00:16:45.519
teach you about yourself? Is there something there that you
212
00:16:45.559 --> 00:16:49.480
can learn about your own opponent. Forget about them, let
213
00:16:49.519 --> 00:16:53.279
me work on myself. And he does say, wow, I
214
00:16:53.320 --> 00:16:58.399
realize I don't have enough respect to the energy, to
215
00:16:58.480 --> 00:17:01.200
the love, to the contribution and bring to the table.
216
00:17:01.919 --> 00:17:05.079
So actually, in my own mind, is the money that
217
00:17:05.119 --> 00:17:11.680
I made becomes my part of my identity? Hmmm? How
218
00:17:11.720 --> 00:17:18.440
can you cleanse that? Are you in touch? How beautiful
219
00:17:18.480 --> 00:17:22.000
your soul is? Maybe you need to have a deeper respect.
220
00:17:22.400 --> 00:17:24.400
Is it part of your opponent when you look at
221
00:17:24.519 --> 00:17:29.720
every situation that you're presenting this as your If you
222
00:17:29.839 --> 00:17:32.160
say it or not, it doesn't matter, but in your mind,
223
00:17:32.440 --> 00:17:37.359
you're presenting yourself as part of your business card. I'm successful,
224
00:17:38.079 --> 00:17:41.359
I have a lot of money I accomplish and that
225
00:17:41.559 --> 00:17:46.720
was an eye opening. So let me work on cleansing
226
00:17:47.039 --> 00:17:53.200
that and come to the table more open. So every
227
00:17:53.240 --> 00:17:54.000
time we.
228
00:17:53.880 --> 00:17:58.240
Are disturbed by anything during the course of the day,
229
00:17:59.400 --> 00:18:01.680
it's not the situation that disturb me.
230
00:18:03.200 --> 00:18:07.720
It's the opponent. It's a hint of the opponent blocking
231
00:18:07.759 --> 00:18:12.720
me to connect with my soul. Any story you want
232
00:18:12.799 --> 00:18:13.359
to share.
233
00:18:13.279 --> 00:18:16.880
I'm smiling. There's two that came to my mind just
234
00:18:16.920 --> 00:18:20.799
from the last few weeks. I was talking to a
235
00:18:20.839 --> 00:18:24.119
student also and a while ago, a few months ago,
236
00:18:24.200 --> 00:18:27.279
and she had the opportunity to travel with her family
237
00:18:27.400 --> 00:18:29.480
to a wedding of another family member.
238
00:18:29.799 --> 00:18:31.559
So they flew together.
239
00:18:31.279 --> 00:18:35.839
On a plane and she noticed how much more respectful
240
00:18:36.559 --> 00:18:41.400
the flight crew was to her parents than to her. Now,
241
00:18:41.880 --> 00:18:45.400
it's triggering her already. We've spoken about it before that
242
00:18:45.480 --> 00:18:48.240
people treat her that she's younger than she is. She's
243
00:18:48.759 --> 00:18:52.599
she looks about ten years younger than she is, and
244
00:18:52.279 --> 00:18:53.640
it's bothering her.
245
00:18:53.720 --> 00:18:56.960
She wants to be treated like an adults at a lot.
246
00:18:56.759 --> 00:18:58.480
Of people will be excited about it.
247
00:18:58.880 --> 00:19:01.359
That's the other One of the things about the opponent
248
00:19:01.480 --> 00:19:04.920
is that what my opponent does to me and the
249
00:19:05.000 --> 00:19:07.559
challenges it presents me with would be easy for you
250
00:19:07.680 --> 00:19:11.480
because it's not your opponent. It's my opponent. So you know,
251
00:19:11.480 --> 00:19:14.559
I'm giggling. I would love to be treated ten years
252
00:19:14.599 --> 00:19:17.039
younger than I am. We're talking about it, what does
253
00:19:17.079 --> 00:19:19.440
it mean, what does it bring up? And trying to
254
00:19:20.599 --> 00:19:23.960
apply a higher level of consciousness to the situation. A
255
00:19:24.000 --> 00:19:28.200
few meetings later, she brings the situation she's kind of
256
00:19:28.400 --> 00:19:31.839
holding back in certain areas of her life because she's
257
00:19:31.880 --> 00:19:35.039
not getting and again, wasn't so obvious. We broke it
258
00:19:35.119 --> 00:19:39.240
down after a conversation that it's really you know, she's
259
00:19:39.279 --> 00:19:41.680
afraid of what her parents are going to say or think.
260
00:19:42.039 --> 00:19:44.920
How are they going to treat her differently, how they
261
00:19:45.000 --> 00:19:49.480
might criticize or ridicule her, And different things came out
262
00:19:49.519 --> 00:19:53.240
that she is, you know, she's looking to her parents
263
00:19:53.240 --> 00:19:57.079
for medical advice, for career advice, for relationship advice.
264
00:19:57.119 --> 00:19:59.880
And I said to her, isn't it.
265
00:19:59.799 --> 00:20:03.079
F that just a few weeks ago we were talking
266
00:20:03.160 --> 00:20:06.160
about how you want to be treated like the mature
267
00:20:06.200 --> 00:20:09.920
adult that you are, but at the same time, you
268
00:20:10.799 --> 00:20:13.720
utilize the gift of your parents in the way that
269
00:20:13.759 --> 00:20:16.680
a younger person would. Right, It's a blessing to have
270
00:20:16.720 --> 00:20:19.400
your parents and your life, and they care about you
271
00:20:19.440 --> 00:20:21.599
and they're interested in you. And at the same time,
272
00:20:22.759 --> 00:20:25.119
what can you learn from this? Do you want to
273
00:20:25.160 --> 00:20:28.960
be the mature adult? And so when you said that
274
00:20:28.960 --> 00:20:32.559
that I should be treated with more respect, I should
275
00:20:32.599 --> 00:20:35.640
be treated as a responsible adult. And then at the
276
00:20:35.680 --> 00:20:42.119
same time, behind that unrest, behind that trigger, lies a secret,
277
00:20:43.240 --> 00:20:47.839
a diamond that's asking to be polished and transformed. I
278
00:20:47.960 --> 00:20:52.400
can be that mature, responsible adult. You know what's also
279
00:20:52.440 --> 00:20:55.000
funny is I think it was last week. We have
280
00:20:55.039 --> 00:20:57.799
a Kabbalah one in the center in Los Angeles with
281
00:20:57.839 --> 00:21:02.640
more than two hundred people and was raining cats and dogs,
282
00:21:03.119 --> 00:21:06.880
which was great for southern California. But about forty people
283
00:21:07.200 --> 00:21:10.480
didn't come to class last week. That's how the rain
284
00:21:10.559 --> 00:21:14.599
affects people in Los Angeles. So the teacher of the
285
00:21:14.640 --> 00:21:19.599
class said, how many of you looked out look at
286
00:21:19.599 --> 00:21:22.599
the at the weather forecast before coming tonight and said, oh,
287
00:21:22.680 --> 00:21:25.039
maybe I should stay, Maybe I.
288
00:21:25.000 --> 00:21:26.759
Should, I should It's not work.
289
00:21:26.799 --> 00:21:29.440
I can listen to the recording, but nonetheless you got
290
00:21:29.480 --> 00:21:33.240
here right obviously, About fifty percent of the class raised
291
00:21:33.279 --> 00:21:36.160
their hand some people. Then he said, how many of
292
00:21:36.200 --> 00:21:38.839
you didn't rain? Didn't even factor it, You didn't even
293
00:21:38.839 --> 00:21:41.440
think about it. You just came here. So he used
294
00:21:41.440 --> 00:21:45.319
that as an example because for some people are deeply
295
00:21:45.359 --> 00:21:47.720
triggered and bothered. Those people didn't show up to class
296
00:21:47.759 --> 00:21:51.000
at all because of the rain. Some people were triggered
297
00:21:51.039 --> 00:21:53.960
and managed to overcome it, and some people didn't have
298
00:21:54.000 --> 00:21:57.839
the trigger at all. So part of I think the
299
00:21:57.839 --> 00:22:03.559
the understanding that the cabalist give us is your triggers
300
00:22:03.599 --> 00:22:06.319
and your challenges that your opponent presents. You with our
301
00:22:06.400 --> 00:22:10.839
tailor made for your growth and your greatness. It's very
302
00:22:10.880 --> 00:22:13.119
easy to look at a package. I mean, I'm listening
303
00:22:13.880 --> 00:22:15.880
to what you shared before, and I'm sure people are saying,
304
00:22:15.880 --> 00:22:19.400
I wish people would be attracted to me because I'm
305
00:22:19.440 --> 00:22:24.039
so wealthy, Right, I would love that problem. It's not
306
00:22:24.119 --> 00:22:28.000
a contest, it's not a competition. Our competition is actually
307
00:22:28.720 --> 00:22:31.720
the current version of ourselves. How can we be a
308
00:22:31.759 --> 00:22:36.880
more elevated, more expansive, higher consciousness version of ourselves versus
309
00:22:37.279 --> 00:22:42.799
competing with someone else's opponents. Right, it's very easy to
310
00:22:42.920 --> 00:22:46.200
think other people have it easier than I do. I
311
00:22:46.279 --> 00:22:50.920
wish I had someone else's problems. We have to know,
312
00:22:51.000 --> 00:22:54.160
and this is one of those essential teachings. The creation
313
00:22:54.279 --> 00:22:58.240
of the opponent is divine. It is for our benefit
314
00:22:58.279 --> 00:23:00.759
and for our growth and for our goth good. And
315
00:23:00.799 --> 00:23:02.880
that the idea that even in the tour it's called
316
00:23:02.920 --> 00:23:07.880
an angel. It's the the Cabalysts teach that when the
317
00:23:07.920 --> 00:23:11.480
Creator created the world, the Creator assigned an angel to
318
00:23:11.559 --> 00:23:15.599
be the catalyst of that negative force so that we,
319
00:23:16.079 --> 00:23:19.440
according to our own wishes, would become co creators of
320
00:23:19.440 --> 00:23:23.240
our reality. It's really by transcending and overcoming that voice
321
00:23:23.640 --> 00:23:25.519
that we become who we're meant to be.
322
00:23:26.160 --> 00:23:28.519
So it's very easy to wish.
323
00:23:28.359 --> 00:23:31.039
I didn't have it, or I had something else, or
324
00:23:31.160 --> 00:23:34.880
you know those The grass is always greener because we're
325
00:23:35.079 --> 00:23:39.119
perceiving the other person's grass through the filter of our opponent.
326
00:23:39.599 --> 00:23:41.880
So I think that it's important to go into this
327
00:23:41.920 --> 00:23:46.039
week as we were going to have heightened awareness of
328
00:23:46.079 --> 00:23:48.720
that voice, to make sure that we're not using it
329
00:23:48.759 --> 00:23:53.640
in the wrong way to almost be envious of other
330
00:23:53.759 --> 00:23:56.799
people's opponents. We want to focus on the work that
331
00:23:57.200 --> 00:24:00.880
our soul and the creator decided it is our focus
332
00:24:00.920 --> 00:24:03.680
for this lifetime and not be distracted by the rest
333
00:24:03.680 --> 00:24:04.240
of the noise.
334
00:24:05.839 --> 00:24:08.079
Beautiful, so let me just go to it. Because we
335
00:24:08.119 --> 00:24:13.839
spoke a lot about every time that I'm bothered and
336
00:24:13.880 --> 00:24:16.759
I'm not feeling the flow of peace within me, it's
337
00:24:16.799 --> 00:24:22.079
a hint there's some internal opponent actually playing with me.
338
00:24:22.759 --> 00:24:25.119
But let me go the opposite way. Let's say you
339
00:24:25.160 --> 00:24:30.960
have an amazing day, nothing bothers you. Everything seemed to
340
00:24:30.960 --> 00:24:39.279
be amazing and flowing. Is the opponent there the way
341
00:24:39.759 --> 00:24:44.599
for us to climb to our next level of growth
342
00:24:45.880 --> 00:24:49.519
of accessing the light of our soul in a greater
343
00:24:49.640 --> 00:24:53.119
way and need to overcome the opponent within. If we
344
00:24:53.319 --> 00:24:59.319
think for a second that the opponent is off duty,
345
00:25:00.359 --> 00:25:03.480
it's part of the lie of the opponent. Doesn't mean
346
00:25:03.559 --> 00:25:06.599
I need to be anxious, and I'm not suggesting don't
347
00:25:06.680 --> 00:25:10.960
enjoy the moment and don't appreciate the moment bad. Sometimes
348
00:25:11.039 --> 00:25:16.160
the opponent manifest itself as being into my own little
349
00:25:16.240 --> 00:25:20.559
babble and don't desire the next level of growth in
350
00:25:20.599 --> 00:25:25.799
my life. Sometimes the opponent manifest itself being so stuck
351
00:25:25.839 --> 00:25:28.720
in my own peaceful feeling and I don't have the
352
00:25:28.880 --> 00:25:32.359
empathy and feeling the pain of people that close to
353
00:25:32.440 --> 00:25:34.920
me and praying for them and asking them and reaching
354
00:25:35.000 --> 00:25:40.000
out to them. Sometimes I'm settling for less while my
355
00:25:40.119 --> 00:25:45.519
potential is so much bigger, and I'm settling for less
356
00:25:45.559 --> 00:25:49.160
with my own accomplishment and my own sense of I'm
357
00:25:49.200 --> 00:25:53.720
being recognized and appreciated by others. That's heaven for me, God, please,
358
00:25:53.799 --> 00:25:56.359
That's the only thing I want to maintain in my life.
359
00:25:56.400 --> 00:26:02.160
Everybody loves me and everything is okay. So the opponent
360
00:26:02.480 --> 00:26:07.799
is tricky. While we did not come to this world
361
00:26:07.839 --> 00:26:12.480
to be in anxiety, the opponent negativity, something is wrong
362
00:26:12.519 --> 00:26:16.319
with me. No, Actually, part of overcoming the opponent is
363
00:26:16.359 --> 00:26:20.799
in the absent downs. Let's try to maintain state of joy.
364
00:26:21.359 --> 00:26:29.359
But there's always next level. There's always next level. When
365
00:26:29.440 --> 00:26:35.039
things amazing, pause, appreciate where this amazing flow come from,
366
00:26:35.279 --> 00:26:39.200
and ask questions, what's the next level? I want to
367
00:26:39.279 --> 00:26:41.920
unlock the next level? When things will be horrible, you
368
00:26:41.960 --> 00:26:45.960
just complain about him and judging them. Pause for a second.
369
00:26:46.640 --> 00:26:50.880
What are you complaining? It's your own complaints that causing
370
00:26:50.920 --> 00:26:54.359
you actually pain. You only issuld. You don't accept reality
371
00:26:54.400 --> 00:27:01.079
and you don't learn the inner lessons within. So that's
372
00:27:01.119 --> 00:27:04.759
what we're asking all of us. Do you want real,
373
00:27:04.960 --> 00:27:10.200
more joy fulfillment, revealing your potential, go to the next
374
00:27:10.319 --> 00:27:14.680
level of your life. You need to be willing to
375
00:27:14.799 --> 00:27:21.079
face the opponent within that is hiding today, and that's
376
00:27:21.119 --> 00:27:24.759
part of the daily prayer. I want to connect with
377
00:27:24.799 --> 00:27:27.000
my potential. I want to do what I came to
378
00:27:27.079 --> 00:27:29.480
do in this world, and I want to reveal more
379
00:27:29.599 --> 00:27:33.200
light and more positivity and connecting to my purpose today.
380
00:27:34.000 --> 00:27:40.319
But please the Creator give me the strength their awareness
381
00:27:40.839 --> 00:27:46.440
and removing my blindfold to actually see the areas that
382
00:27:48.160 --> 00:27:56.440
I manipulated. My negative thoughts, my fears, my judgment, my avoidance,
383
00:27:59.279 --> 00:28:02.240
blind to see with the need to change and all
384
00:28:02.279 --> 00:28:06.000
of that. Like Michael Berkshire the other Week is said
385
00:28:06.640 --> 00:28:10.839
in one end, don't settle for less, go to the
386
00:28:10.880 --> 00:28:14.720
next level. But part of the job to go to
387
00:28:14.759 --> 00:28:19.960
the next level is be willing to dig and to expose.
388
00:28:22.279 --> 00:28:22.799
I love it.
389
00:28:23.680 --> 00:28:26.039
I think if we all take everything you just shared,
390
00:28:27.960 --> 00:28:30.880
the world is going to look dramatically different. And I
391
00:28:30.880 --> 00:28:34.480
think maybe the most important difference is how we feel.
392
00:28:35.119 --> 00:28:35.319
Right.
393
00:28:35.759 --> 00:28:39.160
Say, you spend a lot of time talking today about
394
00:28:39.640 --> 00:28:44.720
that feeling of disturbed, right, bothered, irritated, annoyed. I know
395
00:28:44.799 --> 00:28:47.519
sometimes I have it a day, nothing major, but I
396
00:28:47.559 --> 00:28:49.680
come home and I'm like agitated and I don't even
397
00:28:49.720 --> 00:28:52.519
remember why. And I stop and I realized, Wow, I've
398
00:28:52.519 --> 00:28:55.680
been thinking these intrusive thoughts and they kind of got
399
00:28:55.720 --> 00:28:58.400
out of hand. And I don't want my energy to
400
00:28:58.480 --> 00:29:00.359
be that way. I don't want to show up that
401
00:29:00.400 --> 00:29:02.559
way in the world, for my family, for my friends,
402
00:29:02.559 --> 00:29:08.039
for my community. So I think even just making that shift,
403
00:29:07.400 --> 00:29:11.240
that awareness of what gets us into that place and
404
00:29:11.279 --> 00:29:13.960
how the moment we catch ourselves is the moment we
405
00:29:14.000 --> 00:29:17.839
flip the switch, right, we take back the control. Who's
406
00:29:17.960 --> 00:29:23.000
driving right now changes the whole scenario, regardless regarding obviously,
407
00:29:23.000 --> 00:29:25.279
we want to make sure that we're responsible for our
408
00:29:25.319 --> 00:29:28.359
words and our actions when we're agitated. But the moment
409
00:29:28.440 --> 00:29:31.039
we flip the switch, the light turns back on and
410
00:29:31.599 --> 00:29:35.680
we can go back to the concerted effort that we're making,
411
00:29:36.400 --> 00:29:39.599
as you said, to have more light, more connection, more blessings,
412
00:29:39.599 --> 00:29:42.400
and especially in this month of miracles, the more we
413
00:29:42.440 --> 00:29:47.880
go against that robotic, reactive nature, the greater we'll experience.
414
00:29:47.400 --> 00:29:48.440
Miracles in our lives.
415
00:29:49.880 --> 00:29:50.480
Beautiful.

425
00:30:16.839 --> 00:30:19.039
We'll see you next week on the Weekly Energy Boost
1
00:00:10.439 --> 00:00:13.880
Good morning everyone, good evening, good afternoon wherever you are,
2
00:00:13.919 --> 00:00:17.239
and welcome to this week's Weekly Energy Boost. My name
3
00:00:17.280 --> 00:00:20.519
is Elisheva, and today Aton and I are breaking down
4
00:00:20.879 --> 00:00:24.679
the secrets to facing your shadow. And if you've been
5
00:00:24.719 --> 00:00:26.600
listening for any amount of time, you know that in
6
00:00:26.640 --> 00:00:31.199
Kabbalah we call the shadow, the opponent, the ego satan.
7
00:00:31.719 --> 00:00:33.600
But this week is really.
8
00:00:33.359 --> 00:00:38.799
One of those powerfully powerful packed weeks where we get
9
00:00:38.799 --> 00:00:43.000
the support and the awareness to see so clearly the
10
00:00:43.039 --> 00:00:47.520
way that our own personal opponent blinds us, tricks us,
11
00:00:47.880 --> 00:00:50.920
gets us to think it's us or that it's someone else.
12
00:00:51.280 --> 00:00:56.039
And I'm so excited to share these not only teachings, secrets,
13
00:00:56.119 --> 00:01:01.359
but also practical examples of how our opponent not only
14
00:01:01.520 --> 00:01:05.519
hides within us, but also hides from us our strengths,
15
00:01:05.599 --> 00:01:09.879
our gifts, and our greatest opportunities for growth. Weekly Energy
16
00:01:09.920 --> 00:01:12.519
Boost is a seven day spiritual weather forecast where we
17
00:01:12.599 --> 00:01:15.879
provide our listeners with the most practical and powerful tools
18
00:01:15.879 --> 00:01:18.680
to navigate the coming seven days. We do that by
19
00:01:18.719 --> 00:01:22.239
gleaning through the wisdom of Kabbalah and extracting the tips,
20
00:01:22.319 --> 00:01:24.840
the tools, and the teachings that are going to serve
21
00:01:24.879 --> 00:01:28.200
our listeners most not only this week, but literally any week,
22
00:01:28.400 --> 00:01:31.480
any day, anytime of our lives, and because we have
23
00:01:31.560 --> 00:01:36.359
this unique opportunity to focus in on again. One thing
24
00:01:36.359 --> 00:01:40.040
I always caution myself about when bringing up this topic
25
00:01:40.159 --> 00:01:43.879
is when when people learn about the concept of the
26
00:01:43.920 --> 00:01:49.000
opponent in our classes, in the books, it's very easy
27
00:01:49.040 --> 00:01:51.439
afterwards to take that knowledge and look at the world
28
00:01:51.439 --> 00:01:55.079
around you and say, oh, that's my husband is definitely
29
00:01:55.120 --> 00:01:59.239
in control of his or being controlled by his opponent. Oh,
30
00:01:59.400 --> 00:02:01.640
you know, my mother and law is definitely, you know,
31
00:02:01.760 --> 00:02:03.079
manipulated by her opponent.
32
00:02:03.120 --> 00:02:03.879
That's her opponent.
33
00:02:04.400 --> 00:02:07.480
The goal of these teachings is to reflect inward and
34
00:02:07.519 --> 00:02:11.280
to use them on ourselves, not to weaponize them and
35
00:02:11.400 --> 00:02:13.719
use them on others. This is definitely one of those
36
00:02:13.759 --> 00:02:17.240
concepts that changes how you look at the world and
37
00:02:17.280 --> 00:02:19.719
how you look at how people operate. But the most
38
00:02:19.719 --> 00:02:22.960
important value that it has is it can change.
39
00:02:22.719 --> 00:02:25.159
How you live your life. So, Atan, how do you
40
00:02:25.319 --> 00:02:26.879
how do you want to begin this conversation?
41
00:02:28.879 --> 00:02:32.159
So I'm excited about this conversation, and I'm excited about
42
00:02:32.159 --> 00:02:35.000
the energy of this week that gives all of us
43
00:02:35.159 --> 00:02:42.080
the strength to expose the lies of the opponent. Within
44
00:02:43.919 --> 00:02:47.800
and by doing so, being able to access our soul,
45
00:02:48.000 --> 00:02:56.840
access our light, and leverage that awareness towards miracles in
46
00:02:56.879 --> 00:03:02.319
a growth because of the one of the important statement
47
00:03:02.400 --> 00:03:06.840
I would love to share, which is very very essential
48
00:03:06.919 --> 00:03:11.479
cabalistic principles. While all of us have an amazing, beautiful
49
00:03:11.639 --> 00:03:16.039
soul and we have endless potentials and endless light within us,
50
00:03:16.319 --> 00:03:20.360
in order to be able to access that light, I
51
00:03:20.599 --> 00:03:26.560
need to overcome the opponent within in Each one of
52
00:03:26.639 --> 00:03:32.199
us have different journey in this world, and that opponent
53
00:03:32.400 --> 00:03:36.240
manifests itself in different ways. The opponent is the force
54
00:03:36.479 --> 00:03:41.000
that when we are listening to it, and most of
55
00:03:41.039 --> 00:03:44.159
the day weire is listening to the opponent. So we
56
00:03:44.319 --> 00:03:53.000
naturally gravitated towards selfishness, reactivity, self doubts, worries insecurity, judging others,
57
00:03:53.120 --> 00:03:57.199
not accepting reality, not seeing our soul, not seeing the
58
00:03:57.240 --> 00:04:00.520
good in others, seeing two good in others. Something is
59
00:04:00.560 --> 00:04:04.680
wrong with me. So we all have it. So number one,
60
00:04:04.960 --> 00:04:08.240
to know that the Creator created the opponent in order
61
00:04:08.280 --> 00:04:12.680
to test and elevate humanity. That's our job, that's our journey.
62
00:04:13.240 --> 00:04:20.240
So today will be dedicated some tools around revealing the
63
00:04:20.319 --> 00:04:23.120
lie of the opponent and what is the practice. But
64
00:04:23.199 --> 00:04:25.680
before I would love to share a story from the Torah,
65
00:04:26.720 --> 00:04:30.920
a story from the Torah that in this weekly portion
66
00:04:32.120 --> 00:04:42.240
that described the fight, the war, the wrestling between Jacob
67
00:04:43.560 --> 00:04:49.519
and the negative angel, the wrestling all night until the morning,
68
00:04:52.920 --> 00:04:58.480
and Jacob won. That angel that represents own opponent, that's
69
00:04:58.519 --> 00:05:04.480
the decordifying the tour or couldn't control Jacob and he
70
00:05:04.519 --> 00:05:11.839
asked Jacob, please release me, and Jacob share said, before
71
00:05:11.839 --> 00:05:15.360
I release you, I would like to know your name,
72
00:05:17.480 --> 00:05:23.759
and that angel representing the opponent within answered why do
73
00:05:23.839 --> 00:05:26.439
you need to know my name?
74
00:05:28.000 --> 00:05:37.959
And you released him, so the angel didn't really answer
75
00:05:38.839 --> 00:05:41.319
you just answered with another question, why do you know what?
76
00:05:41.600 --> 00:05:44.000
You need to know my name? And one of the
77
00:05:44.079 --> 00:05:51.199
amazing lessons that roth Berg shared is when Jacob asked
78
00:05:51.560 --> 00:05:57.759
the angel, in order to teach humanity, what what what's
79
00:05:57.839 --> 00:06:03.279
your name? Name represents? And what is your essence? What
80
00:06:03.439 --> 00:06:09.600
is your strategy? How do you manipulate mankind? What's your
81
00:06:09.720 --> 00:06:17.319
main tricks? And the angel slash the opponent answer, actually,
82
00:06:17.759 --> 00:06:21.040
my main strategy, I do not want people to know
83
00:06:21.199 --> 00:06:26.399
my name. I'm always hidden. If it will be so
84
00:06:26.639 --> 00:06:29.639
clear that every second of our day will see, Eh,
85
00:06:29.800 --> 00:06:34.480
that's my opponent. I'm judging someone, I'm upset by something.
86
00:06:35.240 --> 00:06:38.639
We are blinded. And the fact that we know that
87
00:06:38.680 --> 00:06:45.360
I'm blinded and I need to hack that system of
88
00:06:46.199 --> 00:06:50.279
not seeing the opponent within, that's a good beginning. Is
89
00:06:50.439 --> 00:06:54.759
always hiding. So now we want to share with you
90
00:06:56.160 --> 00:07:02.399
tools and examples. How do you recognize in the course
91
00:07:03.160 --> 00:07:10.360
of a day the opponent within? Because recognizing it and
92
00:07:10.399 --> 00:07:15.360
then going the opposite of the direction the opponent takes us,
93
00:07:16.079 --> 00:07:21.439
that's what allows us to actually extract power, light, strength,
94
00:07:21.959 --> 00:07:27.279
miracles accessing the next level. So what would be the
95
00:07:27.399 --> 00:07:32.839
steps Elisheva you would recommend for me?
96
00:07:33.000 --> 00:07:33.680
Personally?
97
00:07:34.279 --> 00:07:39.560
The teaching that really shifted me into.
98
00:07:40.720 --> 00:07:41.560
A more.
99
00:07:42.839 --> 00:07:44.920
I don't think the word is aggressive, but at least
100
00:07:45.079 --> 00:07:50.639
more active role in chasing down my opponent and being
101
00:07:50.720 --> 00:07:54.720
more clear and aware of its effect on me was
102
00:07:54.759 --> 00:08:01.879
the idea that if I want to if if I
103
00:08:01.920 --> 00:08:04.560
want to do what my soul came to do, if
104
00:08:04.560 --> 00:08:07.360
I want to fulfill my soul's purpose in this lifetime,
105
00:08:08.160 --> 00:08:11.120
the best indicator of the what I'm meant to do
106
00:08:12.120 --> 00:08:16.720
is the things that make me uncomfortable. That if I
107
00:08:16.720 --> 00:08:20.720
if I don't want to do something. And it sounds
108
00:08:20.720 --> 00:08:23.439
a little sadistic, But if I don't want to do something,
109
00:08:23.560 --> 00:08:28.360
if I'm apprehensive, if I'm i'm I, I come up when
110
00:08:28.360 --> 00:08:30.240
I when I come up with the reasons to put
111
00:08:30.279 --> 00:08:32.960
it off, to tell someone else to do it, to
112
00:08:33.399 --> 00:08:39.080
pass the buck, to avoid I know that's my my
113
00:08:39.200 --> 00:08:44.240
opponent telling me stay safe, stay comfortable, don't make effort,
114
00:08:44.519 --> 00:08:47.600
your effort is enough. You're you're you're not you know
115
00:08:47.639 --> 00:08:51.279
those those catchphrases other people are doing.
116
00:08:51.039 --> 00:08:53.600
Worse, right, Like you're not that bad?
117
00:08:54.000 --> 00:08:56.840
That that that voice that really I think that the
118
00:08:56.840 --> 00:09:02.480
opponent is so afraid of us being fearless, being powerful,
119
00:09:02.799 --> 00:09:06.320
being strong for me at least, And I know the
120
00:09:06.399 --> 00:09:08.320
voice of the opponent is going to show up differently
121
00:09:08.360 --> 00:09:12.679
for every individual, but maybe by us sharing different modes,
122
00:09:13.039 --> 00:09:16.039
we can reach everybody out there who's listening and help
123
00:09:16.080 --> 00:09:21.240
them to identify there is definitely a focus for the
124
00:09:21.279 --> 00:09:22.279
opponent to.
125
00:09:22.360 --> 00:09:24.200
Keep us stuck and to keep us still.
126
00:09:25.000 --> 00:09:28.759
So when you hear that voice right telling you don't bother,
127
00:09:28.879 --> 00:09:31.440
it's not worth it, you can't make a difference, You're
128
00:09:31.480 --> 00:09:32.840
not that impactful.
129
00:09:33.200 --> 00:09:34.240
What's the big deal.
130
00:09:35.440 --> 00:09:40.399
There's so many all of those stay small and stay safe.
131
00:09:41.279 --> 00:09:44.600
Suggestions come from the voice of the opponent.
132
00:09:45.120 --> 00:09:47.840
I love it. So tool number one that you share,
133
00:09:48.840 --> 00:09:52.559
ask yourself a question, maybe at the end of the day,
134
00:09:53.320 --> 00:09:56.399
based on what happened today or the beginning of the day,
135
00:09:56.679 --> 00:10:07.759
towards the coming day, what am I avoiding? What's conversation
136
00:10:07.919 --> 00:10:16.080
I'm avoiding? What investment of energy I'm avoiding, What confrontation
137
00:10:16.240 --> 00:10:23.279
I'm avoiding? What commitment avoiding? There's a constant voice, subtle
138
00:10:23.519 --> 00:10:27.279
voice of the opponent, belief of the opponent's suggestion to
139
00:10:27.480 --> 00:10:32.960
avoid doing or not doing something. So that will be
140
00:10:33.039 --> 00:10:36.559
the first tool. I would like to go to another tool,
141
00:10:36.639 --> 00:10:45.879
and then we'll give practical example. Every time we don't
142
00:10:45.919 --> 00:10:58.559
feel at peace, it's a hidden hint that the opponent
143
00:10:58.679 --> 00:11:02.519
is controlling me through my own thoughts, because we know
144
00:11:03.840 --> 00:11:09.679
the opponent operating many levels and belief systems in thoughts.
145
00:11:09.759 --> 00:11:12.600
So I would like to speak a little bit about thoughts.
146
00:11:13.600 --> 00:11:21.240
So so I'm upset, I'm anxious, I'm bothered, And let's
147
00:11:21.240 --> 00:11:26.039
start with interactions with other people. You see someone doing
148
00:11:26.080 --> 00:11:32.120
something that potters you, you just judge individual that is
149
00:11:32.200 --> 00:11:36.279
not relating to you, or you judge someone that is
150
00:11:36.360 --> 00:11:43.080
relating to you. We all day long have moments that
151
00:11:43.279 --> 00:11:47.960
I'm set off and I'm disturbed and I'm not at peace,
152
00:11:48.000 --> 00:11:51.399
And it doesn't have to be major reactivity. It can
153
00:11:51.440 --> 00:11:57.960
be just I'm off, I'm bothered, I'm upset. So every
154
00:11:58.039 --> 00:12:04.919
time I am with someone else, I always pause and
155
00:12:05.039 --> 00:12:09.679
go back to my thoughts and asking myself, what is
156
00:12:09.799 --> 00:12:16.320
the thought that causes me to be disturbed now? And
157
00:12:16.360 --> 00:12:19.399
if you're really honest with yourself, the thought is it
158
00:12:19.480 --> 00:12:24.519
shouldn't be this way. It's thoughts of the opposite of
159
00:12:24.759 --> 00:12:29.200
accepting that reality in front of me is exactly the
160
00:12:29.240 --> 00:12:35.080
way it should be. Because every time I believe the
161
00:12:35.200 --> 00:12:39.960
thought they should have done it, they should have been
162
00:12:40.000 --> 00:12:43.480
more thoughtful. I don't like the way they've done it.
163
00:12:43.559 --> 00:12:48.240
Already have done it that thought. I don't like what
164
00:12:48.279 --> 00:12:53.360
they've done. They should have done better. They must change,
165
00:12:54.440 --> 00:12:59.759
They must understand me. They don't get it. That thought
166
00:12:59.799 --> 00:13:03.480
by itself, when I believe in it causing me pain.
167
00:13:04.440 --> 00:13:10.320
It's very simple. Any suffering on experiencing from emotional or
168
00:13:10.320 --> 00:13:15.639
physical start with the thought of the opponent within me
169
00:13:16.639 --> 00:13:20.279
that causes me to have lack of acceptance of the
170
00:13:20.480 --> 00:13:26.440
present reality. If I've all ever thought, it's exactly that's
171
00:13:26.440 --> 00:13:29.360
how they behave, that's who they are. I might need
172
00:13:29.399 --> 00:13:33.240
to need to share something and to contribute something and
173
00:13:33.279 --> 00:13:37.759
maybe to to have discussion with them, But first they
174
00:13:37.919 --> 00:13:41.360
shouldn't have done it. That thoughts by itself, when I
175
00:13:41.440 --> 00:13:47.320
believe in it cause me suffering. So any suffering that
176
00:13:47.399 --> 00:13:51.759
of that first question my thoughts how I see life?
177
00:13:52.240 --> 00:13:55.440
And then there's a second layer. The second layer, h
178
00:13:57.919 --> 00:14:05.639
why the pa of that person disturbing me? What is
179
00:14:05.679 --> 00:14:10.720
the specific thing about what they said, what they've done,
180
00:14:11.320 --> 00:14:15.600
what bothers me about them that can teach me lesson
181
00:14:15.720 --> 00:14:23.600
about myself. So I'll give fast two examples. So the
182
00:14:23.679 --> 00:14:30.000
person that I know just shared with me how it
183
00:14:30.120 --> 00:14:35.720
is upsetting that he revealed the person that is dating
184
00:14:36.559 --> 00:14:42.360
cares too much and attached too much the relationship about
185
00:14:42.399 --> 00:14:50.360
the fact that he has a lot of money, and
186
00:14:50.399 --> 00:14:54.000
it was revealed to him that that's a major factor
187
00:14:54.799 --> 00:15:02.960
that she one things she's attracted to you. So so there's
188
00:15:03.000 --> 00:15:08.720
two layers, and we spoke about layer number one. Maybe
189
00:15:09.159 --> 00:15:15.480
maybe she's attracted to the money too much. Maybe not.
190
00:15:15.840 --> 00:15:21.120
You're not sure because we're not subjective. Nevertheless, is that
191
00:15:22.000 --> 00:15:26.360
thought she wants my money, helping you to be at
192
00:15:26.399 --> 00:15:29.799
peace or not. And I'm not suggesting be blind who
193
00:15:29.960 --> 00:15:33.440
is next to you, but just first reflect she wants
194
00:15:33.480 --> 00:15:37.200
my money? What as it does to your heart? Closing it?
195
00:15:37.480 --> 00:15:40.200
She wants my god, she wants my money. So actually
196
00:15:40.200 --> 00:15:43.240
the opponent the first thing making the other person you opponent?
197
00:15:44.240 --> 00:15:47.840
She is who she is. I'm not sure this relationship
198
00:15:47.879 --> 00:15:53.200
will go through part of my life. Is I have money,
199
00:15:53.960 --> 00:15:58.919
Let's see, I'm open. Of course I want a sole connection.
200
00:15:59.559 --> 00:16:01.960
But they go to the thought she wants my money.
201
00:16:02.000 --> 00:16:04.759
She wants my money, closing my heart, causing me to
202
00:16:04.799 --> 00:16:09.559
be more judgmental, creating cold energy. That's number one deeper
203
00:16:09.679 --> 00:16:15.360
layer and asking the question, is it the first time
204
00:16:15.639 --> 00:16:17.799
that you think, or you believe, or you see or
205
00:16:17.840 --> 00:16:21.000
you recognize the person next to you? Actually, she only
206
00:16:21.039 --> 00:16:25.399
wants my money, he said no, So ask yourself a question.
207
00:16:25.480 --> 00:16:29.840
If there's a pattern, what does it teach you about yourself?
208
00:16:30.559 --> 00:16:33.559
Because we would like to learn about my own opponent.
209
00:16:34.320 --> 00:16:37.879
Now you focus on their opponent, my own opponent. I
210
00:16:37.919 --> 00:16:40.840
want to open myself for truth home What does it
211
00:16:40.919 --> 00:16:45.519
teach you about yourself? Is there something there that you
212
00:16:45.559 --> 00:16:49.480
can learn about your own opponent. Forget about them, let
213
00:16:49.519 --> 00:16:53.279
me work on myself. And he does say, wow, I
214
00:16:53.320 --> 00:16:58.399
realize I don't have enough respect to the energy, to
215
00:16:58.480 --> 00:17:01.200
the love, to the contribution and bring to the table.
216
00:17:01.919 --> 00:17:05.079
So actually, in my own mind, is the money that
217
00:17:05.119 --> 00:17:11.680
I made becomes my part of my identity? Hmmm? How
218
00:17:11.720 --> 00:17:18.440
can you cleanse that? Are you in touch? How beautiful
219
00:17:18.480 --> 00:17:22.000
your soul is? Maybe you need to have a deeper respect.
220
00:17:22.400 --> 00:17:24.400
Is it part of your opponent when you look at
221
00:17:24.519 --> 00:17:29.720
every situation that you're presenting this as your If you
222
00:17:29.839 --> 00:17:32.160
say it or not, it doesn't matter, but in your mind,
223
00:17:32.440 --> 00:17:37.359
you're presenting yourself as part of your business card. I'm successful,
224
00:17:38.079 --> 00:17:41.359
I have a lot of money I accomplish and that
225
00:17:41.559 --> 00:17:46.720
was an eye opening. So let me work on cleansing
226
00:17:47.039 --> 00:17:53.200
that and come to the table more open. So every
227
00:17:53.240 --> 00:17:54.000
time we.
228
00:17:53.880 --> 00:17:58.240
Are disturbed by anything during the course of the day,
229
00:17:59.400 --> 00:18:01.680
it's not the situation that disturb me.
230
00:18:03.200 --> 00:18:07.720
It's the opponent. It's a hint of the opponent blocking
231
00:18:07.759 --> 00:18:12.720
me to connect with my soul. Any story you want
232
00:18:12.799 --> 00:18:13.359
to share.
233
00:18:13.279 --> 00:18:16.880
I'm smiling. There's two that came to my mind just
234
00:18:16.920 --> 00:18:20.799
from the last few weeks. I was talking to a
235
00:18:20.839 --> 00:18:24.119
student also and a while ago, a few months ago,
236
00:18:24.200 --> 00:18:27.279
and she had the opportunity to travel with her family
237
00:18:27.400 --> 00:18:29.480
to a wedding of another family member.
238
00:18:29.799 --> 00:18:31.559
So they flew together.
239
00:18:31.279 --> 00:18:35.839
On a plane and she noticed how much more respectful
240
00:18:36.559 --> 00:18:41.400
the flight crew was to her parents than to her. Now,
241
00:18:41.880 --> 00:18:45.400
it's triggering her already. We've spoken about it before that
242
00:18:45.480 --> 00:18:48.240
people treat her that she's younger than she is. She's
243
00:18:48.759 --> 00:18:52.599
she looks about ten years younger than she is, and
244
00:18:52.279 --> 00:18:53.640
it's bothering her.
245
00:18:53.720 --> 00:18:56.960
She wants to be treated like an adults at a lot.
246
00:18:56.759 --> 00:18:58.480
Of people will be excited about it.
247
00:18:58.880 --> 00:19:01.359
That's the other One of the things about the opponent
248
00:19:01.480 --> 00:19:04.920
is that what my opponent does to me and the
249
00:19:05.000 --> 00:19:07.559
challenges it presents me with would be easy for you
250
00:19:07.680 --> 00:19:11.480
because it's not your opponent. It's my opponent. So you know,
251
00:19:11.480 --> 00:19:14.559
I'm giggling. I would love to be treated ten years
252
00:19:14.599 --> 00:19:17.039
younger than I am. We're talking about it, what does
253
00:19:17.079 --> 00:19:19.440
it mean, what does it bring up? And trying to
254
00:19:20.599 --> 00:19:23.960
apply a higher level of consciousness to the situation. A
255
00:19:24.000 --> 00:19:28.200
few meetings later, she brings the situation she's kind of
256
00:19:28.400 --> 00:19:31.839
holding back in certain areas of her life because she's
257
00:19:31.880 --> 00:19:35.039
not getting and again, wasn't so obvious. We broke it
258
00:19:35.119 --> 00:19:39.240
down after a conversation that it's really you know, she's
259
00:19:39.279 --> 00:19:41.680
afraid of what her parents are going to say or think.
260
00:19:42.039 --> 00:19:44.920
How are they going to treat her differently, how they
261
00:19:45.000 --> 00:19:49.480
might criticize or ridicule her, And different things came out
262
00:19:49.519 --> 00:19:53.240
that she is, you know, she's looking to her parents
263
00:19:53.240 --> 00:19:57.079
for medical advice, for career advice, for relationship advice.
264
00:19:57.119 --> 00:19:59.880
And I said to her, isn't it.
265
00:19:59.799 --> 00:20:03.079
F that just a few weeks ago we were talking
266
00:20:03.160 --> 00:20:06.160
about how you want to be treated like the mature
267
00:20:06.200 --> 00:20:09.920
adult that you are, but at the same time, you
268
00:20:10.799 --> 00:20:13.720
utilize the gift of your parents in the way that
269
00:20:13.759 --> 00:20:16.680
a younger person would. Right, It's a blessing to have
270
00:20:16.720 --> 00:20:19.400
your parents and your life, and they care about you
271
00:20:19.440 --> 00:20:21.599
and they're interested in you. And at the same time,
272
00:20:22.759 --> 00:20:25.119
what can you learn from this? Do you want to
273
00:20:25.160 --> 00:20:28.960
be the mature adult? And so when you said that
274
00:20:28.960 --> 00:20:32.559
that I should be treated with more respect, I should
275
00:20:32.599 --> 00:20:35.640
be treated as a responsible adult. And then at the
276
00:20:35.680 --> 00:20:42.119
same time, behind that unrest, behind that trigger, lies a secret,
277
00:20:43.240 --> 00:20:47.839
a diamond that's asking to be polished and transformed. I
278
00:20:47.960 --> 00:20:52.400
can be that mature, responsible adult. You know what's also
279
00:20:52.440 --> 00:20:55.000
funny is I think it was last week. We have
280
00:20:55.039 --> 00:20:57.799
a Kabbalah one in the center in Los Angeles with
281
00:20:57.839 --> 00:21:02.640
more than two hundred people and was raining cats and dogs,
282
00:21:03.119 --> 00:21:06.880
which was great for southern California. But about forty people
283
00:21:07.200 --> 00:21:10.480
didn't come to class last week. That's how the rain
284
00:21:10.559 --> 00:21:14.599
affects people in Los Angeles. So the teacher of the
285
00:21:14.640 --> 00:21:19.599
class said, how many of you looked out look at
286
00:21:19.599 --> 00:21:22.599
the at the weather forecast before coming tonight and said, oh,
287
00:21:22.680 --> 00:21:25.039
maybe I should stay, Maybe I.
288
00:21:25.000 --> 00:21:26.759
Should, I should It's not work.
289
00:21:26.799 --> 00:21:29.440
I can listen to the recording, but nonetheless you got
290
00:21:29.480 --> 00:21:33.240
here right obviously, About fifty percent of the class raised
291
00:21:33.279 --> 00:21:36.160
their hand some people. Then he said, how many of
292
00:21:36.200 --> 00:21:38.839
you didn't rain? Didn't even factor it, You didn't even
293
00:21:38.839 --> 00:21:41.440
think about it. You just came here. So he used
294
00:21:41.440 --> 00:21:45.319
that as an example because for some people are deeply
295
00:21:45.359 --> 00:21:47.720
triggered and bothered. Those people didn't show up to class
296
00:21:47.759 --> 00:21:51.000
at all because of the rain. Some people were triggered
297
00:21:51.039 --> 00:21:53.960
and managed to overcome it, and some people didn't have
298
00:21:54.000 --> 00:21:57.839
the trigger at all. So part of I think the
299
00:21:57.839 --> 00:22:03.559
the understanding that the cabalist give us is your triggers
300
00:22:03.599 --> 00:22:06.319
and your challenges that your opponent presents. You with our
301
00:22:06.400 --> 00:22:10.839
tailor made for your growth and your greatness. It's very
302
00:22:10.880 --> 00:22:13.119
easy to look at a package. I mean, I'm listening
303
00:22:13.880 --> 00:22:15.880
to what you shared before, and I'm sure people are saying,
304
00:22:15.880 --> 00:22:19.400
I wish people would be attracted to me because I'm
305
00:22:19.440 --> 00:22:24.039
so wealthy, Right, I would love that problem. It's not
306
00:22:24.119 --> 00:22:28.000
a contest, it's not a competition. Our competition is actually
307
00:22:28.720 --> 00:22:31.720
the current version of ourselves. How can we be a
308
00:22:31.759 --> 00:22:36.880
more elevated, more expansive, higher consciousness version of ourselves versus
309
00:22:37.279 --> 00:22:42.799
competing with someone else's opponents. Right, it's very easy to
310
00:22:42.920 --> 00:22:46.200
think other people have it easier than I do. I
311
00:22:46.279 --> 00:22:50.920
wish I had someone else's problems. We have to know,
312
00:22:51.000 --> 00:22:54.160
and this is one of those essential teachings. The creation
313
00:22:54.279 --> 00:22:58.240
of the opponent is divine. It is for our benefit
314
00:22:58.279 --> 00:23:00.759
and for our growth and for our goth good. And
315
00:23:00.799 --> 00:23:02.880
that the idea that even in the tour it's called
316
00:23:02.920 --> 00:23:07.880
an angel. It's the the Cabalysts teach that when the
317
00:23:07.920 --> 00:23:11.480
Creator created the world, the Creator assigned an angel to
318
00:23:11.559 --> 00:23:15.599
be the catalyst of that negative force so that we,
319
00:23:16.079 --> 00:23:19.440
according to our own wishes, would become co creators of
320
00:23:19.440 --> 00:23:23.240
our reality. It's really by transcending and overcoming that voice
321
00:23:23.640 --> 00:23:25.519
that we become who we're meant to be.
322
00:23:26.160 --> 00:23:28.519
So it's very easy to wish.
323
00:23:28.359 --> 00:23:31.039
I didn't have it, or I had something else, or
324
00:23:31.160 --> 00:23:34.880
you know those The grass is always greener because we're
325
00:23:35.079 --> 00:23:39.119
perceiving the other person's grass through the filter of our opponent.
326
00:23:39.599 --> 00:23:41.880
So I think that it's important to go into this
327
00:23:41.920 --> 00:23:46.039
week as we were going to have heightened awareness of
328
00:23:46.079 --> 00:23:48.720
that voice, to make sure that we're not using it
329
00:23:48.759 --> 00:23:53.640
in the wrong way to almost be envious of other
330
00:23:53.759 --> 00:23:56.799
people's opponents. We want to focus on the work that
331
00:23:57.200 --> 00:24:00.880
our soul and the creator decided it is our focus
332
00:24:00.920 --> 00:24:03.680
for this lifetime and not be distracted by the rest
333
00:24:03.680 --> 00:24:04.240
of the noise.
334
00:24:05.839 --> 00:24:08.079
Beautiful, so let me just go to it. Because we
335
00:24:08.119 --> 00:24:13.839
spoke a lot about every time that I'm bothered and
336
00:24:13.880 --> 00:24:16.759
I'm not feeling the flow of peace within me, it's
337
00:24:16.799 --> 00:24:22.079
a hint there's some internal opponent actually playing with me.
338
00:24:22.759 --> 00:24:25.119
But let me go the opposite way. Let's say you
339
00:24:25.160 --> 00:24:30.960
have an amazing day, nothing bothers you. Everything seemed to
340
00:24:30.960 --> 00:24:39.279
be amazing and flowing. Is the opponent there the way
341
00:24:39.759 --> 00:24:44.599
for us to climb to our next level of growth
342
00:24:45.880 --> 00:24:49.519
of accessing the light of our soul in a greater
343
00:24:49.640 --> 00:24:53.119
way and need to overcome the opponent within. If we
344
00:24:53.319 --> 00:24:59.319
think for a second that the opponent is off duty,
345
00:25:00.359 --> 00:25:03.480
it's part of the lie of the opponent. Doesn't mean
346
00:25:03.559 --> 00:25:06.599
I need to be anxious, and I'm not suggesting don't
347
00:25:06.680 --> 00:25:10.960
enjoy the moment and don't appreciate the moment bad. Sometimes
348
00:25:11.039 --> 00:25:16.160
the opponent manifest itself as being into my own little
349
00:25:16.240 --> 00:25:20.559
babble and don't desire the next level of growth in
350
00:25:20.599 --> 00:25:25.799
my life. Sometimes the opponent manifest itself being so stuck
351
00:25:25.839 --> 00:25:28.720
in my own peaceful feeling and I don't have the
352
00:25:28.880 --> 00:25:32.359
empathy and feeling the pain of people that close to
353
00:25:32.440 --> 00:25:34.920
me and praying for them and asking them and reaching
354
00:25:35.000 --> 00:25:40.000
out to them. Sometimes I'm settling for less while my
355
00:25:40.119 --> 00:25:45.519
potential is so much bigger, and I'm settling for less
356
00:25:45.559 --> 00:25:49.160
with my own accomplishment and my own sense of I'm
357
00:25:49.200 --> 00:25:53.720
being recognized and appreciated by others. That's heaven for me, God, please,
358
00:25:53.799 --> 00:25:56.359
That's the only thing I want to maintain in my life.
359
00:25:56.400 --> 00:26:02.160
Everybody loves me and everything is okay. So the opponent
360
00:26:02.480 --> 00:26:07.799
is tricky. While we did not come to this world
361
00:26:07.839 --> 00:26:12.480
to be in anxiety, the opponent negativity, something is wrong
362
00:26:12.519 --> 00:26:16.319
with me. No, Actually, part of overcoming the opponent is
363
00:26:16.359 --> 00:26:20.799
in the absent downs. Let's try to maintain state of joy.
364
00:26:21.359 --> 00:26:29.359
But there's always next level. There's always next level. When
365
00:26:29.440 --> 00:26:35.039
things amazing, pause, appreciate where this amazing flow come from,
366
00:26:35.279 --> 00:26:39.200
and ask questions, what's the next level? I want to
367
00:26:39.279 --> 00:26:41.920
unlock the next level? When things will be horrible, you
368
00:26:41.960 --> 00:26:45.960
just complain about him and judging them. Pause for a second.
369
00:26:46.640 --> 00:26:50.880
What are you complaining? It's your own complaints that causing
370
00:26:50.920 --> 00:26:54.359
you actually pain. You only issuld. You don't accept reality
371
00:26:54.400 --> 00:27:01.079
and you don't learn the inner lessons within. So that's
372
00:27:01.119 --> 00:27:04.759
what we're asking all of us. Do you want real,
373
00:27:04.960 --> 00:27:10.200
more joy fulfillment, revealing your potential, go to the next
374
00:27:10.319 --> 00:27:14.680
level of your life. You need to be willing to
375
00:27:14.799 --> 00:27:21.079
face the opponent within that is hiding today, and that's
376
00:27:21.119 --> 00:27:24.759
part of the daily prayer. I want to connect with
377
00:27:24.799 --> 00:27:27.000
my potential. I want to do what I came to
378
00:27:27.079 --> 00:27:29.480
do in this world, and I want to reveal more
379
00:27:29.599 --> 00:27:33.200
light and more positivity and connecting to my purpose today.
380
00:27:34.000 --> 00:27:40.319
But please the Creator give me the strength their awareness
381
00:27:40.839 --> 00:27:46.440
and removing my blindfold to actually see the areas that
382
00:27:48.160 --> 00:27:56.440
I manipulated. My negative thoughts, my fears, my judgment, my avoidance,
383
00:27:59.279 --> 00:28:02.240
blind to see with the need to change and all
384
00:28:02.279 --> 00:28:06.000
of that. Like Michael Berkshire the other Week is said
385
00:28:06.640 --> 00:28:10.839
in one end, don't settle for less, go to the
386
00:28:10.880 --> 00:28:14.720
next level. But part of the job to go to
387
00:28:14.759 --> 00:28:19.960
the next level is be willing to dig and to expose.
388
00:28:22.279 --> 00:28:22.799
I love it.
389
00:28:23.680 --> 00:28:26.039
I think if we all take everything you just shared,
390
00:28:27.960 --> 00:28:30.880
the world is going to look dramatically different. And I
391
00:28:30.880 --> 00:28:34.480
think maybe the most important difference is how we feel.
392
00:28:35.119 --> 00:28:35.319
Right.
393
00:28:35.759 --> 00:28:39.160
Say, you spend a lot of time talking today about
394
00:28:39.640 --> 00:28:44.720
that feeling of disturbed, right, bothered, irritated, annoyed. I know
395
00:28:44.799 --> 00:28:47.519
sometimes I have it a day, nothing major, but I
396
00:28:47.559 --> 00:28:49.680
come home and I'm like agitated and I don't even
397
00:28:49.720 --> 00:28:52.519
remember why. And I stop and I realized, Wow, I've
398
00:28:52.519 --> 00:28:55.680
been thinking these intrusive thoughts and they kind of got
399
00:28:55.720 --> 00:28:58.400
out of hand. And I don't want my energy to
400
00:28:58.480 --> 00:29:00.359
be that way. I don't want to show up that
401
00:29:00.400 --> 00:29:02.559
way in the world, for my family, for my friends,
402
00:29:02.559 --> 00:29:08.039
for my community. So I think even just making that shift,
403
00:29:07.400 --> 00:29:11.240
that awareness of what gets us into that place and
404
00:29:11.279 --> 00:29:13.960
how the moment we catch ourselves is the moment we
405
00:29:14.000 --> 00:29:17.839
flip the switch, right, we take back the control. Who's
406
00:29:17.960 --> 00:29:23.000
driving right now changes the whole scenario, regardless regarding obviously,
407
00:29:23.000 --> 00:29:25.279
we want to make sure that we're responsible for our
408
00:29:25.319 --> 00:29:28.359
words and our actions when we're agitated. But the moment
409
00:29:28.440 --> 00:29:31.039
we flip the switch, the light turns back on and
410
00:29:31.599 --> 00:29:35.680
we can go back to the concerted effort that we're making,
411
00:29:36.400 --> 00:29:39.599
as you said, to have more light, more connection, more blessings,
412
00:29:39.599 --> 00:29:42.400
and especially in this month of miracles, the more we
413
