Naveen Jain and Riccardo Spagni are two of the incredible contributors of Tari Labs, a new open source decentralized protocol that reimagines the future of digital assets. Naveen is a serial entrepreneur known for bootstrapping companies to remarkable success. His expertise spans both e-commerce and logistics, with a knack for leveraging technology to disrupt industries. Riccardo has made his own lasting impact on the crypto space as a founding member and the former lead maintainer of Monero.
Topics Naveen, Riccardo, and I cover in this episode include:
- The current state of crypto’s user experience needs significant improvement to streamline processes and increase accessibility.
- Unlike other cryptocurrencies, Monero is private by default, serving real-world privacy needs and challenging the narrative that privacy is for illicit activities.
- Tari Universe aims to democratize access to digital assets by simplifying crypto mining, increasing its accessibility and user experience.
- There is a need to find a balance between disruptive technology and regulatory compliance, treating cryptocurrency as you would cash.
