Today on the Servant Leadership Podcast we welcome Mike Donehey, the lead singer and founder of Tenth Avenue North. When Mike was 18, he was in a near-fatal car accident that stopped his heart three times. Doctors told him he'd never walk again, and from his hospital bed, he asked for a guitar. That guitar led to him helping write and lead some of the most recognized songs in Christian music. Mike has also become a bestselling author, writing books like Finding God's Life for My Will and Grace in the Gray, and co-authoring The Lonely Wolf's Club. In this podcast, Mike talks about the importance of stewardship, pointing back to Paul calling himself a "servant and steward of the mysteries of Christ" in first Corinthians. Join us as Mike shares the difference between God's will for your life and God's calling on your life, how he's learned to stay gracious with people who disagree with him, and why he co-wrote a book about the loneliness epidemic among men.
