In this live recording from a LightDAO Member Innovation Showcase in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, Katrina DeAngelis hosts a conversation with three founders building at different layers of regenerative systems change: financial empowerment, ecological intelligence, and human healing. The central question guiding the evening is clear: how do we design systems that restore capacity instead of extracting from it?
Uzrad Lew, Founder and CEO of YOUNITY, shares how his platform uses AI to address one of the most overlooked barriers to collective wellbeing: financial stress and the erosion of middle-class agency. Drawing on more than 25 years in finance, he explains why financial literacy, trusted guidance, and community-centered infrastructure are essential for helping people move out of survival mode and into real decision-making power.
Bastiaan den Braber, Founder of ZAMBEZI, explores the economic and ecological consequences of biodiversity loss and fragmented environmental data. He shares how ZAMBEZI is building an intelligence layer for the nature economy by combining satellite data, bioacoustics, camera traps, and field inputs to support ecosystem protection, risk visibility, and preventative action. Their first deployment in Southern Africa is designed to protect 84,000 acres in collaboration with scientists and operators on the ground.
Dr. Lara Wegener brings the conversation into the body. Her work is rooted in the belief that “humanity transforms when we return to our original design,” and centers on microbiome-activating elixirs handcrafted in the Mexican rainforest. Backed by decades of research, these formulas are designed to restore gut, skin, and immune harmony through CEO microorganisms and meteorite minerals, linking personal healing with the vitality of the Earth itself.
Together, these perspectives reveal a shared pattern. Regeneration is not about isolated solutions or better products alone. It is about redesigning the systems that shape how people live, decide, heal, and relate to the natural world.
This episode is for founders, investors, and systems thinkers exploring regenerative business, AI for financial literacy, ecological intelligence, nature economy infrastructure, microbiome health, and technologies rooted in living systems.
