Welcome to Hang it, the podcast where we try to navigate the art world! In this first episode, Annie talks to Debbie Meniru, Research Assistant at Tate Modern, London.
With Debbie we learn more about what it is like to be employed in a massive public museum in London, how it might differ from working at a small institution and how to get involved with museums and galleries.
Hang it (hangitcollective.com) is a free online platform for young people looking to start a career in the arts, created by friends Annie, Julie, Sophie and Matilda. In each episode, we interview a friendly professional to get to know their practice, learn from their experience and gain an understanding of what one career path looks like.
