Can believers decree and declare? Bernadette Smith says "Absolutely" and walks through the Scripture behind it, from Luke 10:19 to the armor of God, then prays her Invocation for the Nation. Plus Rick on the October surprise. B2T Show, October 15, 2026.

Bernadette Smith, a Michigan minister and speaker, former co-chair of the Michigan Republican Party, wife of Pastor Philip Smith and mother of eight, shares how she came into politics, hearing the Lord say "I want my government back," why she urges believers to vote the platform, and her ABCs of government: Accountability, Balance, the Constitution. She explains what it means to decree and declare from Luke 10:19, Job 22:28, Isaiah 57:19 and Ephesians 6, with one guardrail: say what God's word already says. She closes by reading her Invocation for the Nation.

In the first half, Rick gives his read on the October surprise and covers the news: Netflix's reported losses ("go woke, go broke"); a federal civil lawsuit in which two anonymous plaintiffs accuse former Congressman Matt Gaetz of sex trafficking, which Gaetz says is largely false (no criminal charge was mentioned), and why Rick is on the fence about whether it is an October surprise; why Rick says you can oppose Israel's government and still hold to biblical Israel; a Fox report of an FBI search at the office of Virginia state Senator Louise Lucas in a corruption investigation (no charges were mentioned on air); President Trump's post on the execution of Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan; and the fight over Ken Paxton's Senate race. Rick urges viewers to vote biblical values on November 3.
