Kathy Sullivan [00:00:01]:
No one ever forgets the moment they get the call, the phone call that changes everything, the call from NASA.
Christina Koch [00:00:07]:
She said, we wanna invite you to come to Houston and join the astronaut corps.
Charlie Bolden [00:00:11]:
He said, you still wanna be an astronaut?
Victor Glover [00:00:19]:
She says, how would you like to move to Houston and start astronaut candidate training?
Kathy Sullivan [00:00:19]:
That call, to become an astronaut and perhaps have the chance to leave this planet and take part in exploration beyond everything you know.
Christina Koch [00:00:29]:
That just stops me in my tracks. Took me a while to process.
Victor Glover [00:00:32]:
On cloud 9, and I don't remember a whole lot about the rest of this conversation.
Charlie Bolden [00:00:41]:
I mean I was stunned, and I just stopped for a moment and, and I said... "Yes sir I do. When, when do I need to be there?
Kathy Sullivan [00:00:47]:
