A Solid 4 Beer Thoughts: A solid four beer thoughts. Pop a cold one and get interactive with us on YouTube, Facebook, X, or Instagram. Or don't. I don't care. You can have a cold one. You can have a warm one. You can have a you can have whatever you want. It's a solid four beer thoughts, but what we do care about is that you are here and thank you so very much for partaking in this ridiculousness. yeah. Cold beer. Cold beer. Colbear here. Hey, TikTok, ⁓ Facebook, Instagram, all those places. When you see a clip, like it, follow it, ⁓ share it. Hey, comment on it. Those are ⁓ shit entertaining. We're gonna yeah, we're gonna read some of the TikTok comments ⁓ from last week. ⁓ you can guess what the clip was about just based on the comments. ⁓ also might share my exchange on Brownsburg Chatter this week. It was a fun one too. Anyhow, for a solid four beer thoughts and thank you for being here. How was your weekend? It was great, Tommy. Good. How was yours? Fabulous. Was it? It was. Good. What'd you do? ⁓ you guys fucking splitting a tenderloin here? What is going on in the middle? Mixing it up or what? You're catching me off guard. This isn't how the show goes. We are changing it up. So I do want to go back to a conversation I had about an hour ago. Yeah, let's have a Okay. ⁓ Watering whore hole. It is a club of nice hotel. It is a club, you regulars. So Lake and I get done playing golf. We go up to The bar and we're hungry. Brett meets us up there. That sounds like a joke. Two bald guys walk into a bar. Bald I bald. What am when am I? Anyhow, go ahead. Huh? Sorry, good. Interesting. Somebody commented on my bald head. You're not bald. Yeah. Go ahead. So anyway, I said you know, I wasn't starving, but I wanted to eat something. I go, Link. You want to split a tenderloin? If I can tell you how many Do you want to split a tenderloin? Split a tenderloin. Split a tenderloin. Yeah. He goes, What the fuck are you talking about? Then Brett then Brett Brett looks at and goes, How gay are you, dude? And I go, I didn't say I don't think you said it. Basically, yeah, it's what you said. I said you can't do that. Which basically said, No, you can split a pizza. You know, sure. This is this is where society's gone wrong. Because what he said is not anything about you being gay. But your story is he's called you gay. Correct. I don't think he called you gay. You can't split a tenderloin, dude. No. Two dudes in a bar. You cannot split a tenderloin. Just don't do it. Because why? Because that that's just wrong. It's an individual serving the same reason. Wings wings are a a group serving, appetizer group serving, pizza group serving. Nachos. So what's the difference? The knife you slice the tennis loin with or serving, yes. He talked to the dude next to you in the U.S. No, I check out his junk though. Don't talk to him. No. I wink at him, he winks at him all the time, every single time. And I think Now that's gay. Yeah. He pats him on the butt when he walks in and says, Hey, good game. Good game. Can I wash your hands for you? And at some point I think Can I fit my mouth around that? So anyway, we got this. ⁓ so anyway. So you five minute c five minute conversation. But it's another one. So then we we stretch it a little bit and Brett goes, Well, but if I order a chicken ranch wrap or whatever that thing is, and I offer I only eat half of it and I offer you it The other half? The other half. Yeah. After I've eaten hit That ain't cheating. Eating ain't cheating. We already established it. I'm like, no, we we can't do that because now I'm eating leftovers. Now I'm eating your leftovers. So we can't do that. Now, if at the start of the sloppy series, at this at the start of the ordering, if you go, hey, we're gonna split a a wrap, I'm I'm in for that. You can't do that. Hmm. So anyway, Tom ⁓ your current wife can do that, but you that's yeah. True that that's how it works. We'll agree we'll agree to disagree on that. It's it's weird. Well You guys are weird. Why can't you split a sandwich with a dude? Well I i you I so technically you see I got you all bottled up now. It's just not a dude. It's not a dude. Just in general. You can split a pizza. You know what? Actually it would probably be better if you weren't at a bar with other dudes. It would be different. So So if you're a bistro it'd be a bistro. A cafe would be And you're enjoying a cappuccino? Yeah. Yeah, perfect. You got a nice bottle of wine. You can split your croissant. A pianta. That's not no. That's not no. You can split your croissant. So anyway, Friday we didn't an episode on Bar rule. Sure. Yes we do. Bar rule. Yes, sounds like. ⁓ Friday, ⁓ usual. Saturday went up to the Greek fest. ⁓ It's all Greek to you, just it was Did you watch hockey? I don't get that. Anyhow. Explain that now. Where's this at? Where's it at? Never mind. Go ahead and explain that. Never mind. Where's the Greek fest at? I know exactly where you're going, but yes. Never mind. Just go ahead. I don't. So yeah, we went up air a hundred and sixth of Meridian up on the side. Just Really? Up there four or five hours. Huh? They've done it for a lot of years, haven't they? I mean that's I don't know how many years is the second year. This is the second year I've been up there. Yeah, yeah. But it's been going on for a while. ⁓ but yeah, great food, good time. They do Traditional Greek dancing. Pretty cool stuff. Yeah. How do Greek stuff dance? In circles. Why watching hockey? Is that where we're going? I don't know. We're we're gonna learn at ⁓ Jake's Jake's wedding reception how the Greek dance. ⁓ So is is his bride to be Greek? Is that ⁓ Greek family and lot of she is Greek. Her grandparents I'd pretty sure came over on the boat her parents are That's my boat. Yeah. Or American. Yeah. So she's very into her hair. It's cool. You know the Greek alphabet then? Alpha Alpha Beta Gamma Delta. Theta, theta. No, d ⁓ theta is Epsilon. Alpha beta gamma delta. Epsilon Epsilon. Yeah. Thank you. Gan ⁓ Zoma. Good question because it comes up a lot in my crossword puzzles that I do. How many and I don't know this answer. I know I do crossword puzzles. I know that surprises you, Brett. But how many letters how many letters are there in the Greek alphabet? That I don't know. I think there's twenty to twenty-two. I don't know the exact number. Yeah, so I know twenty twenty-one. Got it. Yeah. Twenty one, twenty-two. Something like Whatever it takes. That's Tom's roll. So yeah. Great weekend. That's not your role. Linko. Hey. Hey lady. ⁓ little Indiana State Fair again. Again. Yep. Jesus grew enough of that shit. Did you go four times this year? Three? I only went twice. I went twice. Current wife went through. Three times. One time you didn't go in. Well, that doesn't count. That'll count. He only put the tip in. That's how the Greeks do it, Tom. That didn't count. I was in the belly of a horse and I never made it in to the show. ⁓ ⁓ little ⁓ preseason action, NFL preseason Colts. Terrible Atlanta versus ⁓ Indianapolis Colts. That was a barn burner terrible. I'm gonna guess I they looked pathetic with a capital Fetic. Holy crap. I'm gonna guess I offense different experience than you'd say. Awful. Special teams, everything just awful. Who was playing quarterback? ⁓ right, Riley Leonard started and then ⁓ It didn't matter. Richardson played secondy back there. I I think Leonard was seven of fourteen for s s like I don't fifty stupid yards and I don't know. Anthony Richardson wasn't much better. So was it all second and third strings that played? Or do we have it? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, for the most part. I mean like like Quentin Nelson wasn't even dressed playing no D B's. The the worst part about that, I thought Link was they preempted the golf when golf channel switched off from golf channel and they were supposed to switch over to CBS, I think was covering it locally for the Colts game. So we missed an hour of fucking golf to watch a shitty. That's the NFL rule now though, because the Heidi came back in the seventies. Correct. Yep. Correct. So I'm in a test group with Nisa or He says nephews and brothers and this and the other. I go, Can we get this shit shitty? Can we get this shitty Colts game off the TV so I can watch live golf? And my nephew texts back, he goes, What the fuck are you doing watching preseason Colts games, number one? True. I said, Well, there's nothing else on on Saturday afternoon. So Yeah, ⁓ Southern Irish twin, her boss, has season tickets. And apparently he didn't want to go. So a couple of weeks ago he's like, Hey, do you want tickets to this game? And so yeah. Wise choice. I mean, yeah, wise choice. And they're decent. I mean, we were thirty yard line in the I think it's called the club level. The blue the blue cushy seats. Yeah. They were very nice seats. And and we were first row. So nobody in front of us. ⁓ that's nice. Yeah, those are nice seats. And so yeah, they were they were they were decent seats. And you we have our own little little food vending places and free popcorn. Yeah, they that old courtyard behind it where well that I call it a courtyard, but it's all Yeah, something yeah, yeah, yeah. So anyway. It was fun to go to a game. It always is. It's always fun to go to a game. And you know, I just kept telling you every time I started getting frustrated, I just kept telling myself I like, it's fucking preseason. Nobody fucking cares. Nobody cares. Doesn't count. So it doesn't count. Nobody cares. I mean, I kinda cared. They looked horrible. You at least want to put up some points. Yeah, you wanna six point, I think two field goals is all all we could manage. I think They miss they missed a late one. Dude practiced. So we got two kickers, two ⁓ field goal kickers on our team, both from Notre Dame. the the one dude I I didn't watch him on the sidelines, but every time I looked down there, I was like, God, all that dude do is is doing is kick. I was like, but he hasn't kicked yet. Like he hadn't done anything yet. Get warmed up. Get warmed up the entire time. Stay warm. Finally halfway through the fourth quarter. Dude finally gets in there to to boot one. Boot one and wide right. I'm like, are you fucking kidding me? Like that's literally all that guy did the whole entire All over the NFL there's been like 60 yard madness from 69. Yeah, there was a six Butker kicked the 69er. Yeah, crazy. Dude missed it. I'm like, nice game. Nice game. Go go take a shower. Yeah. Good work. Pat him on the butt. Nice game, dude. And you won't be in place. And you just lost your job. Anyway, I hear they're hiring in Canada. You just gotta pay the tariff anyhow. ⁓ I had a ⁓ different experience at the Colts game than you did, Lincoln. ⁓ That's right, you guys worked it, didn't you? We did some some fundraising thing, and I'm always ⁓ you know, thankful for the opportunity. Building the fun and fundraising. Man, so there's a new person that is like in charge every year. It's like I I've done this five or six times and you know how it goes. Kind of. And you don't want to be the older condescending Tom person. Ooh. But I'm like, hey, ⁓ what what are we gonna do with the leftover programs? You're like, ⁓ we gotta get ⁓ all out. I'm like, that's not gonna happen. There's only twenty thousand people here. I'm like, that's not gonna happen to Can I walk down two blocks and give them to the homeless? Yeah. They might use ⁓ to keep warm. So it ⁓ it's summertime time. It at some point is like Winter's coming. ⁓ man. That was frustrating. But yeah, I don't know. She said he or she said you wanted to give ⁓ all out. Yeah. So you're starting to pass out four to everybody that comes in. You can't because not everybody wants one anyway. Right. It only looks like the stadium. I almost didn't take one. It was fifty percent full, probably at the best. Maybe. Maybe. Yeah. So there weren't a whole lot people there. I don't know. Yeah. So I did not ⁓ I don't know if you did, but I did not eat anything at that game, Tom. Did you eat anything this weekend? I did. I ate all kinds of stuff this weekend. But anyhow, definitely? Yeah, it's delicious. You stick your finger in it before you ate it? Nah. Okay. You don't always have to do that. ⁓ sometimes you just go in and take a chance. Anyhow, ⁓ maybe that's what I'm So we ⁓ dug out the Whoa controllers for the lights and ⁓ I saw that. Started making sure that all that was gonna work and began began the planning and preparation for how'd that go, Rick Warham? It it went fine. Everything works. Are you still in conversations with your boyfriend you bought that stuff from? Or no? Well he's not my boyfriend, but no. Is that where it was? I think it was Coco. Did he say like I would come down and help you set this up No He said if you if you need help, let me know. ⁓ okay okay. And I'm like, well that's okay. So yeah no. I'm just gonna program him and yep. It takes a while. Yeah. It takes a while because I don't have a layout set up or anything. So I I mean I'm starting from zero. So after I get the layout set up and everything else, it'll be easier. Uhhuh. But it w ⁓ however there are some groups out there with some free stuff things, so that helps. So but yeah. Honest question, do you have a computer that runs it? Yeah and that stays on and runs it or Yeah, that's the next thing. I gotta decide how I'm gonna do that because ⁓ the laptop I please don't wink at me. The laptop I used the laptop I used to use probably won't won't effectively run it. So Really? No, this one will, but I use this one for everything else. So gotcha. It's like I come up with a plan, but that's okay. No worries. What'd you do Saturday night? ⁓ Saturday night we went to Ale Emporium. What was going on? To see Boogie Knights. And ⁓ it was it was a good time. ⁓ it was a good time. Yeah, Brett and his current wife came up and I thought they were decent. It's music you don't hear every day, but it's music that seventies recognized for the most part. Yeah. They played a few songs that surprised me, ⁓ because they they tout themselves as kind of like a seventies ⁓ music type band. But they staying alive. They got into some eighties and some probably two thousands stuff, a little bit, but it was good. You're young. So I'm good with it. But yeah, they they did a really good job. And so we stayed up there probably longer than we needed to, but we did. And ⁓ yeah, we did that. Awesome. And then Sunday just chill. Cut grass. All that fun shit. Yep. Yep. So anyway, now it's time for the unpopular part of the show. History. ⁓ what does this say? ⁓ I don't know. You're looking at it. I don't either. ⁓ sixteen aught nine. Link needs glasses. Long freaking time ago. I I haven't gotten a whole lot of sleep this week. That was 150 years ago. Hell yeah, it was Galileo demonstrates his telescope. Galileo, Galileo. 1909. 169. 1909. ⁓ my bad. 100 years ago. 100 years ago. This is about 100 years ago. 160 years ago. Because this is 1709. Galileo Galilee. What a beautiful baby. Mrs. Galilee, what would you like to call your baby? How about Galileo? Galileo. Galilee. ⁓ he demonstrated ⁓ one of his early telescopes to Venetian lawmakers. It had a magnification of eight. Wow. But even back then, it looks so big about 1609. That's right. You can't even zoom in. You can barely see the ⁓ the old grandma taking a bath in my neighborhood across the room. Telescope of eight. I think you ⁓ you also gotta remember there was no artificial light back then either. So eight times probably would have been pretty spectacular. Well, unless it was dark. Yeah, well I'm I'm assuming Then it would look closer. Yeah. You could say it's sixteen times and you're like, hey, don't know because it's dark. Yeah. Well you got you got 16x? I only got 8x. Huh. Right. Nice. I don't know. There was not as much going on. This is why we should not go out drinking beef before the pot. No, we probably shouldn't. So he later made improved virg ver versions. Versions. Virgins. He improved the versions. The festo versions. With up to 30x magnification. And had a profitable business building and selling telescopes. Yeah. So there you go, Mr. Galilee. ⁓ this week in history, eighteen thirty-five, the great moon hoax. Not that the moon didn't exist, but the first of six articles is published in the New York newspaper The Sun about the supposed discovery of life on the moon. ⁓ That was the hoax. The cheese man. So the articles described animals including bison, goats, unicorns, bipedal, tailless beavers. If you you get hold of a tailless beaver, you gotta you gotta cook it. A bipedal. Hello. ⁓ it is an echo in that beaver. ⁓ Multiple and bat like winged humanoids who built temples. All this is in the art the six articles, apparently. That's compelling reading, probably. These discoveries were supposedly made. This was in the thirties with an eighteen thirties. ⁓ eighteen thirties. Okay. Supposedly made with an immense telescope of an entirely new principle. So they were like, This telescope you don't even you don't even know what this telescope can do. We see life on the moon. So it was daytime Galileo telescope. ⁓ a little bit more. Yeah, it's sixteen X. So Jeff Sixty Nine X. Jeff, you should know this. ⁓ Edgar Allan Poe. Yes. My man. Here we go. He he believed that the articles were plagiarized from one of his stories. So he then came up with the balloon hoax that he sent into the sun as a form of revenge. And the balloon hoax, I had to look this up. ⁓ allegedly, the balloon hoax in eighteen forty four newspaper story by Edgar Allan Poe, published in the sun, that falsely claimed a gas balloon successfully crossed the Atlantic Ocean in three days. So he's like, Fuck it, you guys plagiarized my story? I'm making up my own damn story about a balloon. I like it. Watch me go. And ⁓ yeah. So anyway. That's awesome. ⁓ the balloon was called Nevermore. No more. Sure. ⁓ this week in history two lines. Eighteen eighty three Krakatoa erupts. One of the largest. The Indonesian volcanic island explodes with a force equivalent to twenty six hydrogen bombs. I don't even know what one hydrogen bomb is. It's probably a fuck ton though. I think it's equal to it has to be. You'd think so. Yeah, it has to be. Twenty-six of those bitches. So what's the difference between your mom and twenty-six hydrogen bombs? A fuck ton. So ⁓ discharging five cubic miles of volcanic matter. So five miles up, five miles wide, five miles everywhere. That's nuts. Wow. That's crazy. ⁓ the ensuing eruptions and tsunamis killed over thirty-six thousand people. Wow. Over 70% of the island was destroyed. Jeez. The explosions could be heard, not felt. Heard from three thousand miles away. Holy cow. Isn't that how how crazy how far across the United States is? Yeah, yeah, basically. Yeah. Pretty close. Give or take three thousand. It might be thirty-five or four, but yeah, it's it's so you could hear the basically coast to coast. From one coast in the other country. Crazy. Yeah. Ridiculous. Nuts. So this was one of the deadliest and most destructive volcanic events in recorded history. This week in history, nineteen sixty-six, the last Beatles concert. Nineteen sixty six, Jeff. Was it in sixty six? Nineteen sixty six. Held in San Francisco's Candlesink Park. ⁓ the city of Bridges. Which has a capacity capacity ⁓ forty two thousand five hundred. So how many it holds? How many ⁓ tickets how many tickets were sold? Sixty-five. No, how many were sold? How many were sold? Eighty eighteen thousand. How many million. How many is it C forty two five. Eighteen thousand. I'm going the Two hundred and twenty-five thousand. It's got it was it's gotta be some eighty. Well beyond I'm going eighty six thousand. Four million. No. No. I I'm twelve. I'm still at eighteen thousand. A dollar. Brett's closest without going over twenty. Five thousand tickets is all that was sold in a forty two five stadium. For the last Beatles concert. They didn't know it was a Last Beatles concert, probably, right? In nineteen sixty tickets sold for roughly six dollars, but with fees they were $182. So just saying. So ⁓ the concert was in parking. Yeah. Yeah. The concert was a loss for promoters. ⁓ their last public performance. Not concert, but the last public performance would be unannounced live appearance in January of nineteen sixty nine. So three years later, th two and a half years later. That was with on the rooftop of the Apple building. Okay. Yeah. So yeah. Anyway. They did their last concert in nineteen six that's their last unannounced so their last actual concert was nineteen sixty six. Yeah. The unannounced one on top on the rooftop. When they did every road and all that sh yeah, that that's hard to believe. And this week in history twenty twenty six, we lost three icons this week. Who was the third one? Dolly Parton. No, I knew about that one. Yeah, she is one, two, and we lost Dolly Parton. She lost Tom. She has one, two, and three. All three icons we lost. Wow. So we we we lost it. Wow. I'm with you. Yesterday it was too soon and today it's open yet. We gotta wait until September. We gotta wait till next Tuesday, but not not anymore. Did you guys ever watch the Rocky Horror Picture Show? Yeah, Tim Curry. I guess Tim Curry passed away. And then also JP Morgan. Does that name ring a bell? Yeah. ⁓ yeah. Yeah. From The Hollywood Squares? The Gong Show. ⁓ gee. She died. She passed away today. So that's your three. There's the three. That's your three. Yeah. Well, that's not the three I was thinking of, but sure. Sure. And we'll get into Dollar Park. You didn't know who Tim Curry was? Same. I well, so and I got to think 'cause he shows up in all these different places like random shows. He's India. He's British. Korea. Just assumed it was India. But I didn't realize this, but apparently he played Pennywise in the original Stephen King's It the TV series. I didn't know that. ⁓ and that's this weekend. Speaking of it, that's it. That's and now it's time for some crazy news story Jeff found wandering the internet. Probably got sent to him from Tom. Nope. Because mine suck. ⁓ porn star was what? No. ⁓ a tractor trailer spilled over forty thousand pounds, twenty tons, okay of squid onto a roadway in Rhode Island. Now that's disgusting. On Sunday morning on the That's what squids sound like. Forty thousand of them. You give me shit for for the noises I make. Are you kidding me? I've I've had calamari at a restaurant, Jeff. I don't know about that, Tom. Galilee. ⁓ whoa, Galileo Road in Rhode Island. Cause the tractor dislodged. The impact, the spill covered the road in slippery, slimy seafood. Go for guts. Creating a powerful and foul odor in the sun. Could you imagine that? Yeah, you see. ⁓ Crews used skid stairs to scrape the massive mess off the hot pavement. No injuries were reported, and the road opened up at five. Could you imagine that? I thought you'd have the story about the stick your finger in the squid before you have to. So what where was that squid going? What was that? What was that for? That was even better. What was that for? Like, where's it going? It was in Maine. I was guessing it was going to a C Fit. 40,000 pounds. It's getting district. Where are they ⁓ going to start? Where are they gonna store it? It was on special link. You can't store forty thousand pounds of squid. It was going to Costco. As long as it stays frozen. It'll be fine. Your freezer is not that big. Well clearly the freezer broke because the shit stunk. It was going to Sam's Club or Costco, I guarantee it where you have to buy forty pounds. It's probably forty thousand the company the company that Well processes it. That's Well, it's probably shipping it out to wherever they ship it to to distribute. That's a that's a truckload. That's a max trailer. It's a test. Fifty three close three footer. But we could I I think it's a fuckload is what it is. Not a truckload. ⁓ you've had a fuck ton and a fuckload. Yes, I have. Link's full of fucks. You need to go out and drink it more than I don't know what a podcast. I don't give two fucks. I like this version of Link. Actually it gave two bucks. I gave two fucks. You gave like twelve, but okay, who's counting? Poor Nance. We could go into the Jed York story. We could, yes. Let's do it. Serious. Clearly we don't have a topic, so why wouldn't we go into it? What are you doing? What I mean How many billions of dollars do you own? Millions of dollars do you want? Well, you've never woke up at three AM in a hotel, you're not it's not your home and you do you want a blowjeck? It is his home. This never happened. Hold on. This isn't that's not the part I don't understand. The part I don't understand. with the amount of money that that guy has. Say more money boys. Money buys access. Asses? Is that what you say? Access. ⁓ There there's probably a thousand ways he could make that work for himself. Sure. Without going online in Youngstown, Ohio and lining up. Turned out to be a sting. It was a task force. The they placed the ad and he answered, but There's gotta be a way to do that without you sitting at home in a dark corner on your laptop. You know what I mean? Isn't that a what ⁓ what Tom Cruise did in Risky Business? I never saw that movie, so I don't know. Of course you didn't. That's the part I don't understand. I mean I try and take his mall. Look, I understand prostitution. I understand all the Did he take his three hundred fifty thousand dollar mallboch, drive down to the CD side of town? He did not and and the trailer court owner came out the day later and said, Hey, I want to make this clear that I don't run prostitution. Yeah, this isn't a bordello. He just pulled into the trailer park. That's where they invested him. Yeah, because that's where they that's where they set up the meet. Yes. Because the cops were running the website that he found him on. But I just I can't you got billions. He just got divorced in the spring Tom. I mean come on. You got Give the give the guy a break. He he just He could have gone to Vegas and walked into the Moonlight Bunny ranch and nobody would have known. How do you know about the Moonlight Hun? I think three three months, three months prior he filed for divorce. Yeah. I think is what the article said. But that's the part I don't get. I mean there's he has access. Why why do you go online? Doesn't he have people? Yeah. He should have people. He's got lots of people. People to go do whatever the hell he needs to do. You guys missed four people. This guy paid the rich because he's recognized value in spending money wisely. A hundred and forty dollar hand job is the same as a five thousand dollar hand job. The result is the same. If I was worth nine billion, I'd have people though. This is economics. To do that shit screaming. This is economics. To go find not to give me handies, but to go find the people that give me handies. Let me clarify. We could probably walk in a thousand places. And pay zero dollars for a handjob. It's the thrill, it's the chase. It it was four thirty in the morning. And and my boy woke up liquored up or drunk. Still from the ninety four. And that's the other thing. He he did not get cracked DUI. No. So he was sober as a judge when he got pulled over. Well that's fucked up. But the buttons. I take back everything I just said. What was the charge he got charged with? Some stupid soliciting, but it got pledged down. So he's gonna do nothing. I but I I can't remember what it was. Something ridiculous something completely we could look it up, something completely ridiculous. It's like that's just good lawyer. And so he pays he pays well for his lawyers. Yeah. Why not pay well for your boy to go out and get you a piece of ass an actual real hooker. You need good lawyers. I don't understand because seriously, he could walk in a thousand bars and tell somebody who he is and how much money he's got. And it wouldn't be hard for him to find some girl to jerk him off in a corner. I guarantee you. True. Yeah, okay. No, I'm just saying that's how that's the question here. Yeah. That's how that goes. Yeah. Could you ⁓ I don't know, I'll try to phrase this the right way. Okay. Could could you go into rook could you go to rookies and get a handjob? Could he? Like right right now with with my current net worth? Is that what you're saying? Or if I own an NFL team? In general, because net worth had nothing to do with this transaction. That's not Tom's point, though. That's not my point. Tom's point is he could walk in a hundred different bars in that same city. And I get you, and I'm saying could you walk into a bar right now and pull off a handy? No. Yeah, I don't think I could either. I couldn't either, but I don't have four point two billion dollars ⁓ Four billion dollars. I thought it was nine billion, but who's more The quotes I looked it up this weekend are are worth seven point seven. Okay, so but how would somebody know if you have four they might recognize your face? I'll give you that. If they know you, if you if you saw that face what you have you tell me people who are people exaggerate their shit all the time. Google yourself and go, Hey man, recognize anything? Yeah. Guess what? I'm worth almost ten. You can just play that a hundred ways that you don't have to go hide in a corner in your house. Line it up on a laptop and go to Youngstown, Ohio in a trailer park. You got people. You got people. Have your people walk over to anybody in the bar and go, Hey man, you know who that is over there? I I almost feel like it I agree. I almost feel like it would be better if he was drunk and wandering home from a bar and found a pick up a hooker on the street. Whatever. Yeah. This dude was sober as a judge. Yeah. So maybe he was going into work. Maybe he got up at three thirty to go into work. And won and wanted a journalist. I don't know the why of Youngstown, Ohio, because he was it was from there. ⁓ that's where he's from. His family is from the Youngstown area. Okay. Yes. Okay. So that's Eve of He was looking up so he has connections in that area and still fucked up. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, it's horrible. You know what? Yeah, I don't get it. I don't get it. What it's it's no different than your best friend is Robert Kraft. I know. It's no better than your best friend Robert Kraft. I didn't understand that one either. I didn't either what are you doing? Why why are you going to the is it the thrill of it? I is it the dirtiness of not dirtiness. No, I think part of it is it's a look what I can get away with attitude. Okay, so fine. I've tried that at home. I've told current wife I I'm with like three billion. None of this tracks at home. She knows. None of it. She knows the truth. She's seen your bank account, right? Yeah, she actually hasn't. It's about as short as your deck. that is true. First statement was not accurate. Second statement, accurate. Unfortunately. There's no commas in there. I just said that. It's just it's just one and it ⁓ several extensions on the decimal. I don't know. Or you know, ⁓ what who's gonna who's gonna touch me? I'm never gonna get caught. I mean even if I do, I got some good lawyer in behind me. There must be a thrill. I hate to say slumming, but that's what you're doing with that. It makes me wonder though. Is that something But the embarrassment of getting caught. Now his name, everybody's yes everybody the jokes always everybody calls it going to get a Jed now. ⁓ Seriously. Going to get a Jed. That's that's that's part of the that's part of the thrill aspect. But I I wonder I do wonder if maybe that's something he is already doing on the regular and so that's the first time ever, Tom. It didn't occur to him that he could get in trouble. the way he did doing it. You know what I mean? So that's probably what it is, isn't it? I'm with Link. You gotta you gotta have boys you're paying to to clean up. They should do everything. You should your name, your name and face should never be on anything with a non disclosure that you're never able to write a book or go to media, whatever. Yep. Yep. I'm I'm with you, Link. All right. So you know what happens when you go to the NFL or the NBA and you can't make a team? What Tommy Sue colleges so you can go play in college football or basketball again. Did you hear about all this? Yeah. So so in junction. Okay, so we got we the way it started from what I can gather, ⁓ is that there were players there was a lawsuit started ⁓ because they want to go back to college. Well Because they go into an NFL camp, don't make the team. Don't make the team. They get cut under contract. Under contract. With an agent. Professional. Yes. With an agent. They have an agent. Yes. And then they go back to college football. Correct. Now I don't know who started it. I kind of think it was Diego that kind of started that ball rolling a little bit. Pavia. Didn't didn't he sue? Yeah, because he sued to get that last year of eligibility that he got. That would that was before he was pro. He didn't go into the league and come back. Correct. Correct. But he sued and was successful to get his year of eligibility. Sixth year, seventh year, eighth year, whatever it was. So I think that's kind of what made them think that, you know, maybe this could be a thing. So there was a ruling by a judge that said, Yes, you can go play. Okay, so this week the SEC And Big Ten said absolutely not. No, that's true. This is what this is. No, no, no, no, no. The Big Ten came out and clearly said we will not accept players that have gone into NFL training camps. We're not gonna accept. No, they did not. They they came out, Tom, and said we don't condone it. They didn't abolish it. They said we don't condone it. But your boys That dude's coming back to your boy LSU. Yeah. So they're fighting it as from based on what I listened to today. Who's fighting it? They're not fighting shit. Yeah, because SEC and Big Ten this week said unanimously voted. You you the wording the wording is con condone versus not accepting. Correct. Two different things. The SEC condones it, but doesn't condone it, but we'll accept it. But we'll accept it. They're allowing that dude to go back to LSU. The Big Ten came out and said, we are not allowing it. It So tight tight end Daquan right is who we're talking about. And apparently there's also A player, ⁓ defensive tackle, Xavien Harris also made a similar move to LSU after spending time with the New Orleans Saints. So Daquan ⁓ he signed with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent, and then he joined the Browns and didn't make either of those squads and is now making ⁓ return to college under ⁓ Lane Kiffin. ⁓ following a legal injunction it says. SEC joins Big Ten in banning pros from returning from college as of yesterday. Came out yes, story came out yesterday. Yeah. That's but I I did hear a very similar to what Tom is saying. I I from that that kid is gonna come back and play for LSU. So they didn't ban the SEC didn't ban shit. Well they they condone it. So I think what I think what happened is it happened. And went down and then the SEC came out afterwards yesterday and said that that's the w no more. But so after after the Big Ten Yeah after they came out, yeah, yeah. Before the Big Ten has ever taken a player out of the NFL back into any one of their schools and said, We're not allowing this. So then the SEC said Yeah, we probably ought probably all do the same. But the that kid's gonna pass it. That kid's gonna play for LSU. This goes away. ⁓ with NCAA a couple months ago going you got five years to complete college. Correct. So eventually this this is a short-term issue. But I also like the arrogant part of me, I'm like, the SEC is so fucking worked up that they haven't won a title. And you know what? I think I think the title winner this year, I I hate to say this because I'm IU dude. ⁓ Notre Dame. I think Notre Dame rocks this shit this year. I do too. And I I I would I would be thrilled about that. I really want to be Notre Dame, Ohio State, or IU. I think IU's in the mix. And Geor Georgia is too. George's Georgia's gonna be very good again. but I I think it's one of those top three that I just mentioned is gonna win the title. No Notre Dame. Notre Dame would be great. They got screwed completely. They i they might have been that title game last year, but they have not been since nineteen. I'm gonna say relevant because they've been Since nineteen I get it. But well, ninety three they got fucked by Florida State and the voters, but But they they really haven't been relevant at that level level. Even though they played in a national title game. Yeah. It's like two years ago. Two or three years got rolled by Alabama, got rolled by Ohio State. But different coach, different different attitude. Their coach is fantastic. He's awesome. And they are gonna they are I don't know what DraftKing says, Tom, look it up. Odds on favorite. I'm not as fast as you. You're better at Google than I am. Odds on favorite to win the national title is probably Notre Dame. My Google wrong. No, it's not. Speaking of Google And AI. ⁓ so it says in direct retaliation to LSU and head coach Link Kiffen for recruiting these players. College football's major power conferences immediately changed their own internal bylaws. The Big Ten and the SEC voted unanimously to forbid schools from having anyone on their rosters who has declared for the draft, signed a pro contract, or been listed on an NFL roster. So my guess is That happened. The injunction and the and the and the judge basically was like, Nope, that kid can play on your team. Yep. And then immediately the Big Ten came out and the SEC also came out, according to what you read and what I just read. And they both said, Okay. Absolutely. No more. So you're telling me no more what I'm telling you is it's still being fought in court because the SEC and the Big Ten both first it was the Big Ten, then the SEC followed suit yesterday. Absolutely. Literally yesterday. After they accepted that dude then. Yes. After they said he could play, they march back. We we gotta say face. And actually actually I think it was yesterday, no, today maybe, the kid even said, How is it they that I can't play when a judge said I could? Well, because at the end of the day, it's it's gonna be fought by lawyers. Now I will take that a step further. And this is another, as we've talked about before, with NIL and no rules around NIL, this is another fallout problem with having an NIL situation with no fucking rules. Yep. You know, you don't you put no you put no guardrails, no safety nets, no no, hey, what if that nobody thought this through? They just opened the floodgates and now they got to deal with all this. And then you got kids that went to school. Because of the rule that, you know, in twenty twenty two I think it was, where the they don't get the the COVID year or whatever, high school kids. And you got people suing over that. Because there the the college thing is becoming essentially a farm ⁓ a farm program for the NFL. And that's no but we talked about that yeah. I know, but that's so that's what that's what it is. But so the kids are You get okay, so I get drafted by the Baltimore Ravens and I get on the team and I think I'm gonna be a football player boy or water boy or and and then I find out I'm gonna get cut and I'm like, ⁓ fuck it, I'll go back and play college and make a million dollars. Yeah. And that's ⁓ that's kinda what what's happening and I think they're kind of trying to make that not happen. Yeah. But i NFL also has some responsibility here 'cause they expand they expanded their roster the cut down roster, like you can keep like twenty to thirty more people later in the process. You could keep up to ninety until yeah until some four and it's until this and at some point on the thirty first. Those guys would have never been in a training camp. So it's there's a lot a lot of people I think that have ownership on this. That was another conversation that I heard today actually when The NFL preseason games were three weeks. You didn't have that fourth week where the r when the roster cut down was coming, there weren't still people that were kind of up in the air. When you had three weeks, everybody pretty much knew how it was going to shake out. Now you got that fourth week, and now people are holding on to people just a little bit longer so that they don't have to play people they are keeping in that fourth preseason game. Gotcha. So and I think it's sixteen in the practice squad, something like that. So Yeah, twelve to read practice squad seventeen out of twelve to seventeen, yes. I did Google that topic. Yeah, we just did that bar. Yeah, because ⁓ I had some I I think the number I got was like a total of sixty-nine players on an NFL team. So there's a lot of kids that are gonna get cut. So ⁓ I I'm just gonna read a couple other things. So it says conference versus state law, the S E C Granted its commissioner full and unlimited authority to issue harsh penalties to violating schools. However, because state law generally trumps conference bylaws, attorneys for the players are preparing to sue the SEC for quote cartel-like coordination and violation of court orders. So the NFL stance, so basically they say and for 2026, the NFL issued a memo stating that any player who chooses to defect. Back to college cannot sign with an NFL team during the twenty twenty six season. Future eligibility, because they already signed an NFL contract and cleared waivers, they will bypass any future NFL drafts and automatically become just an NFL free agent for the twenty twenty seven season. Tom Tommy Google pulled this. I would guess twenty two. Twenty twenty for me is very different than twenty-five. Well sure. Yeah, twenty twenty year only a sophomore in college. No, but he could easily be a twenty-five senior. Twenty two. Twenty two years old. So he's a senior in college by most by most standards. And and not good enough to go to the NFL. Yeah. Close, but not good enough. Correct. So got drafted. By the So I'll go back to if the numbers weren't where they were, he would have already still stayed in the college pipeline. ⁓ I I think this is a couple year problem, so it it goes away. Yeah well with the five year eligibility. How how bad did the NCAA fuck everything that they the NCAA I think in major college sports problems major college basketball, football, I mean let's be honest. They're gonna be done. The the The power conferences will form their own group here, I think, in the next three to four years and say, Fuck you, NCAA. We're done with you. We're we're we're done. We we don't need your regulation. We don't need they're already done with them. I mean, let's be honest. They they've I mean the NIL the whole they they they do kind of run I mean the conferences the power conferences. Yeah they now run everything. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Very, very differently. I think that's gonna be more important for the minor sports, how that how that would play out the the minor I think that that becomes a conception. Title nine, all that yeah. Yeah. It it I think they get overlooked and I don't think they have any anybody really looking out for ⁓ because at the end of the day football and basketball make the money. Yeah, I guess actually I I think there's plenty of people in the minor sports that care and want it to be right, but Without the dollar coming in, it doesn't matter. You could have the fucking president go, Hey man, this is relevant. This needs to happen. It's like, ⁓ you bring in a thousand dollars a year, man. Yeah. But I'm guessing it's like the WNBA want to get paid a million dollars per player or whatever. Like you bring in ⁓ twenty five hundred dollars a week, I don't get it. I'm guessing and and I say this frivolously, ⁓ I'm guessing nobody cares about the FSU women's field hockey team. But but those athletes the girls do. The girls are also absolutely they do. And the teams they play for the parents and the absolutely they do. Plenty of people. There's gotta be funding for that and the funding does come from football and basketball. Absolutely. Yeah, it's that's it does fair. That's how it works. But yeah. Hey, can we a a topic I don't know much about, but I I sort of gravitated to the last couple of days. ⁓ Little League World Series. ⁓ yeah. So ⁓ Jeff is our WNBA correspondent who unfortunately did not have a story for us this week. ⁓ he does. We just want him to sit on it for a while. ⁓ really? Huh. I don't want all the cliques we got last week. Some of the comments are interesting, man. How fucking stupid just stop. How fucking stupid is it? We're gonna get to the comments later. Everybody's got an opinion. I I'm okay with that. Sure. Sure they do. It's it's fine. Well ⁓ most of ⁓ are stupid. There is a ⁓ a female baseball player. Yep. Playing with it's twelve year olds, right? Six twelve year old Kenley Ramus. Kinley Rasmus. ⁓ from Phoenix City, Alabama. She is a fucking stud. So she's she's playing ⁓ with with the boys' team. And ⁓ she appears to be the star of the team. ⁓ yeah. Set a new tournament record for the most total hits by a girl securing her fifth hit during a four two win against Washington. I I I don't even like that stat. I don't even like that stat. Who cares about that? Be because the stat was it's a girl. You're playing in the same just Okay. What's you what's that? That's not your stat, Tom. I'm not busting your balls. I'll bust your balls for not eating stuff, but she got she has a strikeout record. ⁓ for girls. Yeah. Yeah. So I don't like to qualify, is all I'm saying. She's a badass stud. She's fun to watch. Girl, boy, doesn't matter. I've I've watched a shit ton of She's a very good baseball player. Little League Baseball She's a stud. Hold on. Watch a shit ton of Little League baseball and these kids, twelve year old kids, they're twelve frickin' years old. And when you when you see that kid struggling on the mound where he can't heartbreak breaking, right? It's it's Then the coach goes out and pull pulls him out and he's gotta pull his his hat down because he didn't want And the kid's crying at shortstop because he missed a play, it's just it's it's pressure. It's a lot of pressure. But it's awesome also. It it's it's what life is, right? Like you're going through some trials right now that prepare you for other shit that you you didn't even know you had to deal with. Yeah. Yes, Tom. Elite velocity. Fastball clocked at seventy three miles per hour. Which is ninety five. Base ninety-three. ⁓ or ninety-seven, sorry. Major league basketball. Pure dominance in her opening round game. She threw six scoreless innings, giving up just one hit, striking out eight batters over her next relief appearance, threw more than four scoreless innings to spark a five run comeback. That was so they she shut down elite male hitter male male hitters. At a in a high level situation. They were down five ⁓ in that game. Yep. ⁓ they bring her on and so also it might say there, but ⁓ she has the game tying RBI in at the end of that game. Yes. While tracking five hits across her first few games, she has consistently hit for power against top tier male pitching, became the first girl in Little League World History Little League World Series history to hit an extra base hit. RBI double to left field, followed it up with an RBI triple in a later elimination game. So if she's this good at this age, yeah. ⁓ here here in another handful of years, it is she the first female ⁓ female that actually like legitimately it's almost not legitimately, but but actually is on a team and and contributes. It's not a a marketing ploy, it's not nothing. She's good enough to be there. Yes, it's it's almost like Reverse of what we were have been saying about the WNBA and male players and all this stuff. Like man, if you're good enough to play on a team Play on a team. ⁓ yeah. You are you're good enough to play on a team. Absolutely. Like if there's a female kicker in the NFL. They're or quarterback or tight end or guard I d I don't care. I don't think that's realistic, but yes. I'm just saying. I mean but I'm good enough. If you're I don't care what the hell you are. You're good enough at any position at an at a professional level, correct? Go for it. Like one when the TikTok comments on a ⁓ a quarterback's like ⁓ racial issue like if if you're the right person, nobody gives a shit what your skin comes to. They will find you. They will find you if you're good enough to help their team. They will find you. It doesn't they I don't think they care. Do do you like Riley Leonard for the Colts over AR five because one's one's black and one's white? You don't like either. This is my favorite favorite statement about this. Her stats don't require a curve. Physically overpowering the boys she faces on the mound and push punishing their best pitches at the plate. Yeah. Yeah. ⁓ yeah, she's a great hitter. She then she plays shortstop when she's not pitching. And who plays shortstop? Who plays shortstop? Usually the best the player on the team. The best athlete on the team plays shortstop. So there's another Rasmus on the team. I'm assuming it's her brother. I think they're married. This is Alabama. Yeah. Kyler Wow ⁓ sorry, is this Kentucky or Alabama? Riker. I think it's Riker is her brother. Her brother is nearly killed her. No, they don't they don't mention she has there was another Rasmus on the team. Her cousin. Cousin. Riker. Riker Rasmus is her cousin. But if you're not if if you're if they call them cousins in Kentucky, also I think. So if you've got a deep legacy in the Phoenix City Little League roster. If you're not watching the Little League World Series, it is one of the best sporting events to watch. Her dad's a former Major League Baseball player. It is the purest her I thought it was her uncle, but it it's the purest form of sport. You watch these kids out there and you watch As far as we know it's a purest form until you get a Danny Elmonte. Yes. Yeah. And I pulled that out of my ass. Danny I didn't even look that one up. I do remember he was like what fourteen or sixteen. He's like three or twelve. Three or four years older than everybody else. Striking everybody out. Yeah. Playing playing badass. How long ago was that? Look up Dan Danny Elmonte. Head coach is a former Major League Baseball player as well, which is her uncle. That is Riker's dad. Gotcha. Her dad was a major league baseball pitcher. He's the assistant coach. What am I looking up now? Danny Elmonte. Danny Elmonte. When did that happen? ⁓ that big giant kid. Was that 20 years? Feels like early two thousands. He now he was a badass pitcher, but he was sixteen three to four years older than everybody else. Mr. Age Fraud guy? Yes. Made up made up birth certificate. Yeah. So hold on. Whoops. Go back. Talk amongst yourselves. Another bucket? Yeah. Another bucket. Do I need to be on my phone too? No. What is going on? I'm trying to answer your questions. Okay. Is the internet not fast enough? I I had it and then I hit the wrong button. ⁓ my Almonte. There he is. For the love of Almonte. Yeah, I know what he looks like. You don't have to show me his picture. He's probably 35 years old. He's probably 40 years old now. I think I saw a an interview with him like years later. And he basically was like, I I didn't know I was doing anything wrong. Like he it it was the grown ups. It was all the grown ups that were doing everything wrong. I don't think he he legitimately at the time knew. He was 14. I'm just saying. No way they're grown ups. ⁓ no way fourteen, not twelve. Okay. Sixteen. No, that's a big age difference. ⁓ yeah. At that point. Twelve year olds, yeah. Yeah. So he was stripped of his wins, third place finish, and his father had to submit birth certificate, was found to be falsified. League officials face lifetime bans, though Danny himself was cleared of personal wrongdoing. After that He kept playing baseball through high school, later played collegiate ⁓ western Oklahoma State. And brief stint in independent professional baseball was Southern Illinois Minors. Never drafted to the major leagues. I almost feel like any of us could have played for the Southern Illinois Minors. Hang on. Am I in E R S or O R S? Yeah, sure. E R. ⁓ the minors. Holy hole. ⁓ shit. E R S. E or. E R S. Minor. ⁓ so dig and coal type. Yes, dig and coal. Coal type. Yeah, dig and coal or under eighteen. Which which minor are we talking about? Dig and coal. Okay. Dig and coal. Okay, Your Honor. Yes, yes, Your Honor. Dig and Cole. We're talking about the coal kind. Yes, Jeff. Dolly Parton passed away two days ago. Yep. And what an American icon. An absolute American icon. There's nobody They did not like Dolly Partner. You said you just watch a documentary Yeah, that I thought that was that was the weird part. Last week on the podcast we were talking about Dolly Parton. We talked about Dollywood. You talked about watching that documentary. Do it. I think we should not talk about people anymore because they die. But Wow. But no, I'm just kidding. Anyhow, let's make sure Danny Elmonte doesn't pass away next week. Of course. Keep your eyes on your feet. ⁓ I'd be okay with that. It's terrible, Tom. No, so she she was an absolute American icon. She was an absolute American sweetheart. ⁓ She was who she was. So so this morning I heard an interesting interesting little tidbit. Okay. ⁓ Tidbit? Yeah. Yep. W her her estate. Her estate upon her passing was estimated to be about five hundred million dollars. And they said that if she hadn't given so much philanthropically, her estate probably would have been through her books for kids. Yeah, five to six times more. So she could have gone to a trailer park and got a handy. When there were wildfires in Tennessee. She literally went on site and started handing out thousand dollar checks. She was ninety-one thousand dollar checks in a day for people that needed help because something bad happened in her community. She's not looking for cameras. She's not looking for cameras. She was glitz and glamour. She was the boobs didn't matter after I was after I was about fifty. ⁓ The whole I think they matter, Jeff. She even talked about her acrylic nail. She goes, When I would pick guitar with these acrylic nails and yeah, and and she was just a genuine person. Person. She was a person. She was she wasn't but she wasn't sh nobody when you when you when you saw interviews with her and you saw if you saw her perform or anything like that, you never felt like she was bigger than the room. No, you know, when you see stars, you're like tits were but but you just never felt like she wasn't just a normal person because of her demeanor and and you see all these videos of her interacting with kids at these literacy things, reading books to ⁓ and and all this different stuff. And she was genuine. She was just a genuine person. She was a genuine but she figured this out in eighteen. She was young early on. But completely male dominated industry. Yes. Yes. Completely. Yes. Yes. Like d I I don't know In the sixties. Can you name any other female country music star in the sixties? Really? I I don't know Jamie Wynnette. Jamie Wynette, yeah. I the coal ⁓ the coal miners daughter. Loretta Linda. Loretta Linda. Loretta L yeah. I mean but but they weren't they weren't as flashy and Cashy as she was and and she she didn't give a fuck. She said, Here's who I am, here's what I'm doing. I know what I'm doing. I'm driving the bus. And she drove the bus. She she truly did. She was a badass. Absolute badass. Yeah. A hundred percent. So, you know, I th I think that's ⁓ an American icon that you'll you'll not see the likes of ever again. ⁓ so should we ⁓ You and Jeff do edit Islands in the stream here to to end the podcast. I don't think we should. Who's who here? Who wrote the song? Islands in the stream Whitney Houston in the stream Michael Jackson, I Whitney Houston. Are you fucking kidding me right now? Michael Jackson. You want me to look it up? Who sang it? No, I don't want you to look it up because I know the answer. Whitney Houston. Who who sang it? Islands in the Stream. Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton. Okay. Yeah. Who wrote it? I don't know. The BGs. wrote that song. ⁓ did they? Yes. The BGs wrote that song for Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton. That's nice. They wrote it for them? Yes. Absolutely wrote it for Yeah. And she she claims so so you all saw Kenny Rogers fade away at the end with his plastic surgery. I mean he looked bad after his plastic surgery. He still had hair. Barely maybe. His face was Jeff U and I won't be able to say that. So even Dolly Parton said he goes, she she said, she said, ⁓ yeah, I've been tucked, I've been tipped, I've been this, I've been that, you know, her face. I'm and she sloppy tipped. She a gladly admits it. Yeah. Yeah. She's all that what she's had done. Yeah. And she's got no apologies for it. She said, I sent Kenny Rogers to my plastic surgeon, and she goes, It Didn't work out. It didn't work out real good. But she can get away with that though. Like we said. So you you talked about ⁓ you know her just going out and handing out thousand dollar checks to to people in need and stuff like that. It kinda reminded me of ⁓ current my current wife's one of her old bosses. ⁓ his name was Bill. I'm not gonna go into whatever but a saying that he always used to have that dude Bless you. So sold a business, had s several millions of dollars to to his name. But ⁓ one of his sayings was if you can, then you should. Yep. And that's what he o and that's basically what that guy lived by. Great. He's like, you what? That's awesome, man. If if I if I can help, then I should help. Absolutely. And he did in many different ways and several different stories that that I could tell, ⁓ that my wife told me and that I witnessed myself, but the dude was I mean, just you know Everybody liked him and just a just a down to earth guy. You'd never know looking at the guy that he could help anybody he wanted to. So but anyway, just some somebody like that. That's when you're talking about her. That's And he did. It reminded me of people like that. And if you if you have it, you why why not help? Why not? Why not help when you can't help. That would be the beauty of having money, really. Yeah. Crack. Just to take take care of friends and families, others. Do it quietly, do it humbly. Do it quietly, do it humbly. All right, so as we as we before we do joke of the week. ⁓ it's a dollar partn joke. So good. So hold on to We'll get to that. But first I want to share some of the comments. ⁓ From TikTok. From TikTok. yeah. From our show. From our I'm ready for for a couple of these. All right. So the first one. Yeah. From what w what was the post? The FBI. What was the post? The Fabi. This was this was about the guy that got thrown out, the basketball or the the people that got thrown out with the XXXY from his own t shirts. T shirts. Yeah. Enus Canner. ⁓ yes. No, not not him. No, no, just the fan the mother and daughter. ⁓ yes, because the world needs more opinions from fifty plus year old white dudes who never accomplished much in life. You bunch of fucking failures. They they didn't say that part, I did. This podcast equipment needs tariff at this point. My response, thanks for playing. I saw that one. Okay. Well, ⁓ there there's some value that comment. I mean there's plenty of fifty year old dudes that have opinions on everything. Absolutely. And if you're not a fifty year old dude, I get it. Like I I'm the thirty year old kid going Yeah, hey Brett, you don't have to you don't have to justify these. But but we're willing to put we're willing to put our opinion out there on online. I'm just saying. I don't give a shit. This is my favorite one though. I'm just saying you you get i experience brings ⁓ Yeah, kind of diverse opinion. Like, yeah, that's fucked up, man. That's not right. I don't even understand this comment, but I'm gonna go ahead and share it with you. Perfect. Well, I made this one. Loser ass old fat bald white dudes wanna whine about trans people, even thought there's literally zero in the WMBA. They losers couldn't even name and I'm they losers. This is Couldn't even name ten players if they tried, just a bunch of bigoted bitches circle jerking because they never amounted to anything in their pathetic lives. Now, I was very confused by that post for several reasons. First of all, only one of us one of us at the table. No, no, there's no puncture. There were no there was no puncture. No catalyzation. There was a period. There was a period. a feedback. Is it a period dress or I want no, I just want to clarify a couple things. First of all, of the four of us, there is only one that is bald. ⁓ I'm well on my way. I'm well on my way. Two that are fat. So we cleared that up. I'm not bald. Hang on. I am not bald. Hang on, which two? I am not bald. Well clearly not you two. ⁓ my gosh. So whoever this cocksucker is calling me. Fuck you and the horse you rode in on, but go ahead. And I want you to I want you to understand, sir, ⁓ stoned Alex, I want you to understand that I I feel like all four of us have somewhat accomplished something in life. I don't think we're completely unaccomplished. It's irrelevant. Yeah, I don't think our lives are pathetic. Well, what's it not pathetic? So I've accomplished everything I want to accomplish, but I think we've all done Pretty well for ourselves. Yeah, are you talking ⁓ w what did I do in seventh grade? What did I do in high school? Am I stable? Yeah, whatever. My guess is Why why are we giving this guy, why are we giving this cock sucker? I think we should. You're talking about it more than I planned on. So you're the one giving it to him, so I don't know why. You don't know. No, you're the one reading the son of a I'm just reading it to you. Hang on. You do not even know that he sucks cock. Not yet. He might not. Did I can we go back to his name? Stoned Alex? Yeah. Okay, Jeff. There you go. Roll another one. ⁓ Anyhow, this was ⁓ this was one of my favorites. This girl has a TikTok with a ton, shit ton of viewers. ⁓ she was aggressive. How many? Quarter million. Quarter million. Holy shit. You know what she commented on our ⁓ she did. And you know what she does on hers? She she does TikToks about Dollar Tree finds. All the things you can find at Dollar Tree to make your life better. There's a lot. So she's doing a lot of good in the world. And her name is Sensational Finds. Put their old SSA Don't know what that is. I don't know. I think it's Aspac. I think it's Aspen. It's ass it is it's Aspaces because yeah. So it doesn't get edited. Put their sorry ass, yeah. On the front line of this disastrous call, Britt. How the fuck you do this shit? I figured it out. I figured it out. I figured it out. I just 'cause I've accomplished a lot in my life, Jeff. I'm fifty nine, you're fifty seven or whatever they say. Can I go ahead and read this? Put their old ass on the front line of this disastrous Republican Middle Eastern War because clearly these overweight men are bored. Stop sucking down beer and podcasts, Mike. Talking about nonsense and to be use go be useful to the country you claim to love so much. We are literally at war because of you. And here you are wasting the little time you have left on earth talking about something that's not even happening. How pathetic. So I said, Hold on, gotta go grab some stuff from Dollar Tree first, but I'll be right there. It's not like we're making stories up. To which she didn't know all these stories are out there. Apologize to these fuckers. ⁓ I'm not fuck you, Dollar Tree. She did respond. Hang on. ⁓ my goodness. Fuck hold on. Fuck. Your deflection from the mediocre at best crew. Let me know if you need any help. That one hundred and sixty-five follower count is almost as pathetic as you men are. Yes. So this is what we resort to. This is my whole problem. This is what we resort to. We can't have conversations. We just have to immediately attack. I don't understand that. I I just don't get that part of it. We you can't have an opinion we do unless you align with what somebody else says. I if you if you disagree, you can't just sit there and talk about disagreeing. You have to immediately attack. And I don't understand that. I I've never understood it. I don't understand it. You just gave me that's why so much of this is just mind numbing to me. It is. And I and I I look at it and a lot of times I like it. I like it. I like it to look at it and you know my lip my litmus test at home is some of these keep giving us clicks, Dollar Tree Whore, whatever your name is. You're helping us out. Thanks for viewing. ⁓ but but the the reality is if I show my seventeen year old some of this and she says let me respond. And I'm like, No, no then I know We're okay. We're not that far off base. You know what I mean? So so the reality is that there's always going to be angry people no matter what. You know, and then we can go, but then we can go to the Frankfurt. But she's got a quarter million people following her on TikTok. She has a great ass. Probably. It's probably as wide as this fucking table. It's probably as wide as fucking table. We don't know that. But you know what? The people in Frankfurt love us. You just gave me three more reasons not to be on social media. Why I'm not on social media for for at all. There's no reason to even be on social media. I get it. For me, the thing is ⁓ We're trying to get clear. What I leg legit like about this podcast, it's just us. We we've never tried to pander or cater to or whatever. We are who we are. And we just hang out. We shoot shit. We drink some beers. I think we have a good time. And sometimes you leave her going, ⁓ Jeff's a cocksucker, Brett's a cocksucker, Lynx, whatever. Well, nobody said that. Whatever. Well I'm a whatever. Tom clearly has to, because you're not eating anything. But you sit there and go, Nobody cares, right? We had a good time. And I don't think our opinions are too far off what a lot of mainstream is. And if you're offended by something, that's cool. Voice your opinion. Bring it in if you won't bring it in. If you won't engage in a debate or a conversation. And fuck you for saying we're all overweight and bald. Yeah, that's a little aggressive, man. There's only there's a camera. There's only two of us overweight and only one of us, none of us are bald. ⁓ you're pretty I know Jeff. I know you're I am well on my way. So if I showed up, absolutely if I Went to Greek cliffs. Nobody would know if you showed up bald next week. No, I have to ⁓ It's terrible. My hairline is terrible. I get that. Same. I've always had a bad hairline. No, it's geez Christ, Brett. You got a head of hair. He's got a head of hair. You got a head of hair. My mine's a grape leaf. I look like a Greek God? No, not a Greek Jefficus. Jefficus is what you look like. Jeffus. Thank you. I look like my older brothers, and that sucks. Because I don't know what to do with my hair. I don't. I think you're doing all you can though there, brother. When you have bad hair, when you have bad hair, you can't do anything with it. I know. I'm not I I will not go bald. I'll hold on to my last string. I will. Your Homer Simpson, your last the very last string of hair. I will. You'll Laney strip that. And I think I think when I re I think when I retire, when I retire, which is hopefully in five, six years, I might grow a fucking No, no with the ponytail. No, don't no, Jeff, no, no, no. I'm stopped doing the podcast if you did. Don't do that, Jeff. Hey, I must say this. I I Is it that bad? I actually do it. Is it seriously that bad? It is bad if you grow a ponytail ponytail. Yeah, you can't you can't grow a ponytail. No, you can't fucking do I want hair. So if I showed up, Jeff, you'll only have hair on the back. Yes, yeah. That would look weird. That looks weird. Then you gotta buy an ice cream truck and sell ice cream to kids. It's a bad it's a bad look. Bad look. Hey, I I actually appreciate the comments because I like to go, okay. Well, there's actually people listen. And if your opinion's different, all good, man. Voice. Voice it. We're not always right about everything. We don't have all the right facts. We appreciate it all. But end of the day. No, seriously. Yeah, you better have your shit together, right? So I don't think she has the heart to tell me, but I s I've I've seen my brother Dollar Tree. Are we back at Dollar Tree? No, I've seen my brother bald and I'm like That looks like me. Terrible. That looks as me right now. Link. What can't get your opinion? I I died. Is it time? I'm done. Is it time? I think I'm done. Is it time? We're the junk. Yeah, I honestly. If people don't care about our opinions, then don't don't freaking listen. Don't read our comments. Don't read our stuff. I mean, whatever. People just carrying up kind of over it. That's the thing. I mean, we straddle them enough to make it. Hey, guess what? We're hitting our the we're hitting our feet. We appreciate all the good and on a good note, we got seventeen new followers. So this past week. Okay. Thank you. That's better than Jesus. That's awesome. We got seventeen a week. Yeah, twelve. You know the good news is with as few followers as we have, we can actually have a party at somebody's house with all of our followers. So we had twelve followers. Just say follow us and come to the party. Wow. Five. Did you say five more than Jesus? Yeah. We we need to get shirts to say Jesus plus five. I w I I will tell you this. We could just say North Central shortstop plus five. And then that that's all we really need to go. Okay, I w I honestly I will tell you this. If I ever shave my head completely, which will Wow, thank God you said head. Which will never happen. I will do it on the podcast. Okay. Okay. That'll only take about twelve seconds. Yeah, what are we gonna do the other fifty nine fifty nine minutes? Fuck forty eight seconds. Fuck you, Tom. We'll knock this out in just a couple minutes. I know I s I said the barber chair, it literally takes six minutes. Tom Tom can go to the barber? Six times. No, we've had this conversation. We've had this conversation. Tom can eat seven hot dogs in the time it takes to cut your hair. Are you sure about that? Are you sure about that, Wayne? ⁓ Right. ⁓ well this has to be from Nashville, Tennessee. ⁓ there you go. ⁓ is Dollywood its own city? Dollywood Seaverville. Page of Fever Severeville. Severeville. Severe Severeville. So that's Severe. That's where we're we're from. Severeville, yes. Gatlinburg, Tennessee. This is disrespectful, but do not do it then. No, I have I have to. It's it's i it's it's ⁓ timely. He made he made a joke about Jesus. I'm pretty sure he can make a joke about Dolly Parton. I'm pretty Yeah, we're Jesus plus five. That's fine. Seaverville is that Severeville. Severeville. Severeville. Severeville, Tennessee. So think of that when you answer this. Okay. Okay. Actually. I changed it this week. You don't get to answer. This is just kind of a ⁓ st it's a story joke. You just take a week off, think ahead for next week. All right. That's bullshit. ⁓ and it's not even realistic 'cause Princess Die and Dolly Parton are at the gates. Walk into a bar. Golden Gates. ⁓ walking at the gates. Okay. Yeah. Well, and Princess Die's been gone like two weeks or so. ⁓ since Ryan was two years old. So thirty years ago. ⁓ since the Milwaukee Brewers game. Yeah. absolutely. So ⁓ Peter's at the gate. He's like, Hey man, pretty booked up right now. We let one of you guys in. And they're like, ⁓ okay. So Wow, I didn't know I'd see that tonight. I think I'd see Link's tits tonight. I did not think I'd see his tits tonight. So And Princess Die says, Can I come in? Holy home. He wouldn't have done that three months ago when he was a little bumpier. Agree. Fat ass. Fat bald ass. ⁓ my gosh. So he's like, State your case. And so Dolly, she's like How about these? yeah So she did see this is a joke. I think Princess Diana says nothing. She goes and peas in a cup, brings it back, gives it to Saint Peter. Like drug testing, right? Sure. Gives Saint Peter. Got it. Saint Peter comes back in a minute. He's like, All right, Princess Diana, you're in. And Dolly's like, Whoa, whoa, whoa. What urine. I get it. What the fuck? Uine P Pee. He's like, Dolly. Everybody knows a royal flush beats a great pair. Wow. Jeff's still thinking on it? Yeah yes. ⁓ okay. You c you had me at Princess Princess Diurine. Can we go back to the Jesus Christ jokes? Close?
