Lizard Boss Gives You A Promotion

WEBVTT
1
00:00:02.080 --> 00:00:07.799
M hm yes, oh yeah, come right on in. Yeah,
2
00:00:07.919 --> 00:00:12.800
sit down there for me. Love. No, no, no, no, no,
3
00:00:12.919 --> 00:00:15.880
You're not in any trouble. How come every time you
4
00:00:15.919 --> 00:00:19.280
come in here you are saying that you are going
5
00:00:19.359 --> 00:00:23.480
to be in the worst trouble of your life. It's
6
00:00:23.519 --> 00:00:28.320
just something I've wondered. Now. I was going over our
7
00:00:28.480 --> 00:00:34.000
Q four performance and looking at it in comparison to
8
00:00:34.039 --> 00:00:38.920
our que projections. Well, you know that we don't follow
9
00:00:38.960 --> 00:00:44.079
the traditional calendar when it comes to such. Yeah, exactly. Okay,
10
00:00:44.240 --> 00:00:51.840
so particularly in terms of your department. Well, no, I
11
00:00:51.920 --> 00:00:54.479
know you're not the department head, and there's no need
12
00:00:54.479 --> 00:00:56.799
to rub it in. I've been trying to get you
13
00:00:56.880 --> 00:01:00.359
to be the department head for how long. You're so
14
00:01:00.520 --> 00:01:06.439
thunderheaded about it, aren't you? Anyways? Okay, So back to
15
00:01:06.480 --> 00:01:11.079
what I was saying, mister thunderheaded, when it comes to
16
00:01:11.159 --> 00:01:16.879
your performance, you can. I just sadly we're not seeing
17
00:01:17.560 --> 00:01:22.480
a reason appoint us upper management in continuing to have
18
00:01:22.560 --> 00:01:27.040
your department open. It doesn't seem to be needed. Other
19
00:01:27.120 --> 00:01:29.920
departments can easily pick up the few things that are
20
00:01:30.239 --> 00:01:35.680
essential from your department, but other things are superfluous. In
21
00:01:35.760 --> 00:01:39.040
this time of most companies scaling down and everything. It's
22
00:01:39.079 --> 00:01:44.000
just something we have to look at. Fired. No, why
23
00:01:44.040 --> 00:01:47.599
would we ever fire you. No, you're one of the
24
00:01:47.640 --> 00:01:51.400
hardest workers out there. In fact, all the essential things
25
00:01:51.439 --> 00:01:56.079
that we need done or well, honestly, you're the one
26
00:01:56.239 --> 00:02:00.719
carrying that slack, aren't you. Exactly just why we could
27
00:02:00.840 --> 00:02:03.280
never get rid of you, wouldn't even dream of it.
28
00:02:04.400 --> 00:02:08.240
So what I'm proposing is to move you to actual
29
00:02:08.319 --> 00:02:11.759
upper management. We have a position open now. It's kind
30
00:02:11.759 --> 00:02:14.680
of why I delayed having this talk and even looking
31
00:02:14.719 --> 00:02:18.080
over these reports, even though my boss has been really
32
00:02:18.439 --> 00:02:21.560
breathing down my neck about it. I think it's time
33
00:02:21.599 --> 00:02:28.479
that you move on up and you become directly underneath me. Yeah,
34
00:02:28.599 --> 00:02:33.360
it would mean you're you'd be reporting to me, and well,
35
00:02:33.400 --> 00:02:37.639
I would like you to do very thorough investigations when
36
00:02:37.680 --> 00:02:42.960
you submit your reports. You know, I'm just saying, I
37
00:02:43.000 --> 00:02:48.159
think it's your time to climb the corporate ladder, and well,
38
00:02:48.800 --> 00:02:53.360
you know, me, being a lizard girl suction cup fingers,
39
00:02:54.319 --> 00:02:57.439
I'm very good at climbing and I'd love to show
40
00:02:57.479 --> 00:03:02.000
you your way up. I'd love to see what you
41
00:03:02.080 --> 00:03:06.719
get up to, if you know what I mean. Uh,
42
00:03:06.759 --> 00:03:12.520
huh uh. Yeah, No, you're getting a promotion. Yeah, that's
43
00:03:12.560 --> 00:03:15.680
exactly the point I wanted you to take there. Absolutely,
44
00:03:16.120 --> 00:03:19.919
you're getting a promotion. So with this promotion, it means
45
00:03:19.919 --> 00:03:24.599
that you will need an office. But unfortunately there's no Well, yes,
46
00:03:24.840 --> 00:03:28.199
you're going to be replacing of the senior management, but
47
00:03:28.520 --> 00:03:30.479
he's still here for a few months. He'll be showing
48
00:03:30.520 --> 00:03:34.039
you the ropes and tying up loose ends and whatnot,
49
00:03:34.120 --> 00:03:37.199
handing a counsel to you. But I'm going to have
50
00:03:37.360 --> 00:03:40.159
a desk put into this office that you can be
51
00:03:40.879 --> 00:03:46.800
right next to me. Mm hmm. Well, yes, it would
52
00:03:46.840 --> 00:03:49.039
make sense for you to be right next to him too,
53
00:03:49.159 --> 00:03:51.680
but I just wouldn't be able to keep a good
54
00:03:51.840 --> 00:03:56.120
eye on you. You're ma. You know he came from
55
00:03:56.400 --> 00:04:02.439
me being you're not direct boss, but your most senior member.
56
00:04:03.680 --> 00:04:06.479
I got to be the one who interviewed you. I
57
00:04:06.560 --> 00:04:08.680
was the one who made the ultimate decision to hire you,
58
00:04:08.759 --> 00:04:11.719
and I've been the one who's kept a watchful eye
59
00:04:12.080 --> 00:04:19.079
on you. You're not catching anything that I'm saying. What
60
00:04:19.279 --> 00:04:24.399
you see my when it comes to the corporate life,
61
00:04:24.439 --> 00:04:31.000
I would love for you to scale me. You know, Yes,
62
00:04:31.079 --> 00:04:34.120
I am a lizard, I have scales. I'm just saying
63
00:04:34.279 --> 00:04:39.000
that I'm not as cold blooded as I may seem.
64
00:04:39.959 --> 00:04:45.120
I could absolutely help you get nice and warmed up
65
00:04:45.879 --> 00:04:49.639
with your natural body heat. I'm saying I want to
66
00:04:49.720 --> 00:04:52.680
lay on top of you like one of my warming pads,
67
00:04:52.720 --> 00:04:58.920
and I would love to actulutely rock climb up your well.
68
00:04:58.959 --> 00:05:03.879
From what I'm looking at from here, you're mountain. I
69
00:05:03.879 --> 00:05:10.000
would love nothing more than to have well. I would
70
00:05:10.040 --> 00:05:12.839
love to be the peak. But I really don't mind
71
00:05:12.839 --> 00:05:18.040
if you press it deep into my valley. I have
72
00:05:18.199 --> 00:05:21.199
wanted you for the longest time, and I've been trying
73
00:05:21.199 --> 00:05:22.959
to get you to go on a date with me
74
00:05:23.040 --> 00:05:26.120
outside of here, but you never seem to pick up
75
00:05:26.160 --> 00:05:28.519
any of my hints or cues. So this is me
76
00:05:28.680 --> 00:05:38.000
just directly telling you, Yes, you're what I mean. Yeah,
77
00:05:39.240 --> 00:05:42.240
me wanting nothing more than to tear your clothes off
78
00:05:42.279 --> 00:05:48.519
every lunch time has a minor amount to me picking
79
00:05:48.600 --> 00:05:50.600
you over someone else. But honestly, you're the guy for
80
00:05:50.639 --> 00:05:53.279
the job. You already understand the company, so we don't
81
00:05:53.279 --> 00:05:55.839
have to train you on any of our inner processes.
82
00:05:56.399 --> 00:06:01.199
We already have you now all of our clients and
83
00:06:01.240 --> 00:06:04.279
they love you. You already do a stellar job with
84
00:06:04.360 --> 00:06:06.759
everything that you touch, and I'm just saying that there's
85
00:06:06.759 --> 00:06:08.800
one more thing I would like for you to touch.
86
00:06:08.839 --> 00:06:14.720
And oh yeah, office romances can get messy, but I
87
00:06:14.759 --> 00:06:17.319
think we're both adults nuts to make sure we can
88
00:06:17.480 --> 00:06:22.360
keep our bedroom activities outside of the office activities, though
89
00:06:22.879 --> 00:06:33.879
those can be pretty hot too. It's m I'm just saying, no, stop,
90
00:06:35.839 --> 00:06:40.680
don't push me away. I can tell you wanting this too.
91
00:06:41.319 --> 00:06:45.600
I see the way you look at my assets, and
92
00:06:45.680 --> 00:06:49.040
I understand that you definitely want to be one of
93
00:06:49.079 --> 00:06:53.680
the people who acquire them. Now look at this. I'm
94
00:06:53.720 --> 00:06:58.439
not publicly traded stock. I would rather be privately owned,
95
00:06:58.680 --> 00:07:01.480
if you know what I mean. Or rather, I would
96
00:07:01.560 --> 00:07:10.759
rather privately own an exquisite asset such as yourself. All
97
00:07:10.839 --> 00:07:13.360
of this business talk has got me rather worked up.
98
00:07:13.439 --> 00:07:17.079
Can we please move on to something a little bit
99
00:07:17.079 --> 00:07:28.360
more interesting? Yeah? Interesting? All right? So go ahead tell
100
00:07:28.360 --> 00:07:31.839
me more. Tell me more about how you think that
101
00:07:31.920 --> 00:07:35.120
it was nepotism that got you here, and it's nepotism
102
00:07:35.120 --> 00:07:37.079
that makes the world go around. So I don't one
103
00:07:37.120 --> 00:07:41.560
hundred percent understand why you're particularly upset with this, but
104
00:07:42.000 --> 00:07:48.639
go ahead, Well, yeah, well, no, you earned everything that
105
00:07:48.680 --> 00:07:53.000
you got, and I would like for you to earn
106
00:07:53.120 --> 00:07:57.319
quite a bit more, if you know what I mean, Well,
107
00:07:57.959 --> 00:08:04.279
not here, but back at home. M okay, I tell
108
00:08:04.319 --> 00:08:08.720
you what will define exactly what happens at home versus
109
00:08:08.720 --> 00:08:12.800
what happens here. We'll have completely different protocols for how
110
00:08:12.800 --> 00:08:17.720
we handle these things, and we'll just well, this is
111
00:08:17.800 --> 00:08:21.319
assuming that we go beyond the first date or you know,
112
00:08:22.600 --> 00:08:27.360
first netflix and chill. You know, maybe it's just gonna
113
00:08:27.360 --> 00:08:33.000
be a wild, passionate night. Who knows. But a very
114
00:08:33.039 --> 00:08:36.320
important and warming rock that I got to lay upon
115
00:08:36.480 --> 00:08:41.559
told me that this is the life that we have now,
116
00:08:41.600 --> 00:08:45.039
and if there's something that we have to pay for later,
117
00:08:45.159 --> 00:08:47.720
pay for it later. Enjoy the here and the now.
118
00:08:48.480 --> 00:08:51.000
Come on, I want you to a kuna all over
119
00:08:51.120 --> 00:08:56.279
my matatas. If you know what I mean, you're so
120
00:08:56.320 --> 00:08:59.679
o plevious. I would like for you to all over
121
00:08:59.720 --> 00:09:02.480
my right here those right there, Yeah, I get a
122
00:09:02.519 --> 00:09:08.679
good grip there you go, all right? M hmm. Well, yeah,
123
00:09:08.720 --> 00:09:12.279
there's a reason why I called you in right before lunch. Yeah,
124
00:09:12.279 --> 00:09:17.399
I'm gonna go lock that door. Then I'm going to Well,
125
00:09:17.919 --> 00:09:20.279
you can choose if you continue sitting in that chair
126
00:09:20.320 --> 00:09:22.080
that is one of my more favorite chairs. Would be
127
00:09:22.120 --> 00:09:28.159
ashamed to see it crumble and fall. Huh no, no, no, no,
128
00:09:28.279 --> 00:09:30.360
we both know. I'm the one that's from Texas. But
129
00:09:30.399 --> 00:09:35.639
you're gonna be the cowboy today. I'm very glad to
130
00:09:35.639 --> 00:09:49.360
see you come around to my way of thinking. No no, no, no, no, no,
131
00:09:49.360 --> 00:09:54.759
no no no. That is for me I while are
132
00:09:54.799 --> 00:10:02.480
at work, these windows are not it's soundproof, and there's
133
00:10:02.519 --> 00:10:05.159
no sense in us both in the fire today. There
134
00:10:05.399 --> 00:10:10.360
no no, no, no, no, no no. Wow. No, that's bigger
135
00:10:10.399 --> 00:10:26.799
than a banana, way bigger than ooh hey, guys, is
136
00:10:26.879 --> 00:10:33.320
Zena Alexander here? Wow? Okay, so back to the daily grind.
137
00:10:33.320 --> 00:10:37.360
It's super excited. I recorded like five videos in the
138
00:10:37.399 --> 00:10:42.879
same day, so it's weird doing outros when you haven't
139
00:10:42.960 --> 00:10:46.039
had anything happen the day before. It's kind of cool,
140
00:10:46.960 --> 00:10:50.080
but I will say, oh, inspiration, I haven't an inspiration
141
00:10:50.440 --> 00:10:59.600
inspiration for this video. I I wasn't senior management. I
142
00:10:59.600 --> 00:11:03.440
guess would I be the owner? I hired someone to
143
00:11:03.519 --> 00:11:06.879
do some webwork for me, and we just had an
144
00:11:06.879 --> 00:11:11.519
incredible chemistry. We were amazing. It's kind of a combination
145
00:11:11.600 --> 00:11:15.240
of two because I also dated someone that I met
146
00:11:15.320 --> 00:11:18.000
while working on a project and then we started working
147
00:11:18.039 --> 00:11:20.360
really close together, Like they weren't on the project, but
148
00:11:20.399 --> 00:11:24.799
they came on because because we got along together really well,
149
00:11:25.559 --> 00:11:29.600
so I kind of mixed and matched those two. Never
150
00:11:29.840 --> 00:11:32.720
actually got to do the deed with either of them,
151
00:11:32.919 --> 00:11:37.039
but Wickedly Wickedly had a huge crush on the first
152
00:11:37.080 --> 00:11:41.120
one and kept hitting on them and getting more and
153
00:11:41.120 --> 00:11:43.919
more direct to where even when I was like, okay,
154
00:11:43.960 --> 00:11:47.200
but I need you to understand I like you, they
155
00:11:47.320 --> 00:11:50.080
still weren't getting it. Even with that, which was adorable.
156
00:11:51.200 --> 00:11:54.320
Oblivia's can be really really sweet and endearing, like there's
157
00:11:54.360 --> 00:11:57.399
something nice about wutting someone who's still that innocent running
158
00:11:57.399 --> 00:12:01.000
around the world. And then with the other part, they
159
00:12:01.039 --> 00:12:03.399
were actually the one that asked me out, which caught
160
00:12:03.440 --> 00:12:07.720
me way off guard because I just I'm never prepared
161
00:12:07.759 --> 00:12:13.440
for that, and I do go after people that I
162
00:12:13.480 --> 00:12:15.639
get interested in, but it's also really hard to get
163
00:12:15.679 --> 00:12:19.080
me interested in anyone because I'm usually just mired in
164
00:12:19.120 --> 00:12:21.519
a ton of projects and I know it's not healthy.
165
00:12:21.559 --> 00:12:24.799
I'm working on in therapy, no advice needed, but I
166
00:12:24.879 --> 00:12:27.120
tend to just take on more and more and more projects,
167
00:12:27.159 --> 00:12:30.039
so I can kind of disassociate. That's does anyone else
168
00:12:30.080 --> 00:12:34.320
do that? The way I disassociate from things is I
169
00:12:34.360 --> 00:12:37.759
can play video games to a point, but I find
170
00:12:38.360 --> 00:12:40.799
creating a project, even if I don't think it's going
171
00:12:40.840 --> 00:12:46.080
to work out, really helps me be able to just
172
00:12:46.120 --> 00:12:48.200
forget about the things that are going on around me.
173
00:12:48.320 --> 00:12:50.679
So that's kind of the way that I disassociate. Is
174
00:12:50.720 --> 00:12:55.120
it healthy? Probably not, And I guess I'm keeping up
175
00:12:55.159 --> 00:13:01.320
with the whole I'm super hump Day audios by making
176
00:13:01.360 --> 00:13:06.080
this one exceptionally flirty. It's pretty lude, not the most lude,
177
00:13:06.159 --> 00:13:10.720
but it's up there. I want to say thank you
178
00:13:10.759 --> 00:13:12.879
to everybody who has been supporting me in my book.
179
00:13:12.919 --> 00:13:16.039
My book is still coming out. The person that is
180
00:13:16.159 --> 00:13:18.279
formatting it is just taking a little bit longer. The
181
00:13:18.279 --> 00:13:21.240
holiday's hit and got a wonky, but I do have
182
00:13:21.320 --> 00:13:25.879
my VTuber model done and I will be this weekend.
183
00:13:25.960 --> 00:13:28.440
We will be continuing D and D again. We'll be
184
00:13:28.480 --> 00:13:30.679
onto our fourth session. We even have a theme song.
185
00:13:31.120 --> 00:13:35.159
If you're a country fan, and though I've been told
186
00:13:35.159 --> 00:13:39.799
by Prism it's not country, it's not country, but country
187
00:13:39.799 --> 00:13:42.879
adjacent fan. There's a song called last Night I absolutely
188
00:13:43.360 --> 00:13:47.080
love Last night is amazing and we READD the lyrics
189
00:13:47.120 --> 00:13:53.399
to match our our D and D campaign where I'm
190
00:13:53.759 --> 00:13:56.360
a super bratty bard. Who wouldn't think that the Bard
191
00:13:56.360 --> 00:13:59.639
would be super bratty? Oh my god. Anyways, guys, I
192
00:13:59.679 --> 00:14:02.039
want to appreciate. I want to show appreciation for everybody
193
00:14:02.039 --> 00:14:04.360
who's been super supportive. I know I keep saying that
194
00:14:04.360 --> 00:14:06.759
a Patreon drops coming, but one is absolutely coming tonight.
195
00:14:07.440 --> 00:14:09.200
And I'm going to get back on that daily grind
196
00:14:09.240 --> 00:14:12.320
Why because I legit love you know, I'm happy when
197
00:14:12.360 --> 00:14:15.120
daily content's coming out. It doesn't burn me out, it
198
00:14:15.159 --> 00:14:18.799
doesn't upset me. Other things in life will get to
199
00:14:18.840 --> 00:14:24.159
me and then I lose time. And I learned that
200
00:14:24.200 --> 00:14:27.759
I disassociate and it's a disassociation that makes me lose
201
00:14:27.799 --> 00:14:30.399
track of time and then losing track of time, but
202
00:14:30.440 --> 00:14:32.320
I don't get things done that I've been wanting to
203
00:14:32.360 --> 00:14:37.399
get done. So I am absolutely going to be more
204
00:14:37.440 --> 00:14:40.159
mindful of the things that take up my time. Am
205
00:14:40.240 --> 00:14:42.279
I doing it because I want to do it? Am
206
00:14:42.279 --> 00:14:49.279
I disassociating? Is it serving me? And honestly, just am
207
00:14:49.320 --> 00:14:52.080
I happy? That is really the arc that zena and
208
00:14:52.120 --> 00:14:54.279
is on right now. Is it making me happy? Is
209
00:14:54.279 --> 00:14:57.720
it serving me? And is it taking away from other
210
00:14:57.759 --> 00:15:00.639
people know of it? Yeah, then it it's not for me.
211
00:15:00.759 --> 00:15:04.519
If yes, then then if you have it gets to
212
00:15:04.519 --> 00:15:06.399
stay around anyways. I love you guys and buy
