BU BÖLÜM HAKKINDA
Episode 76
Ryan Hall and Dominique LaRue preview a loaded two-night SummerSlam card—but first, they have one question for ESPN:
Why eliminate the one-hour preview show designed to get people excited about the event?
Show Notes
• ESPN Scraps the SummerSlam Preview Hour
A major event should feel like a major event. So why remove an hour dedicated to introducing the matches, explaining the stories, and building excitement?
Ryan and Dom discuss why the decision feels shortsighted—especially when WWE and ESPN should be trying to attract new viewers instead of assuming everyone already understands the card.
Night One
• Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar: Match of the Weekend?
The Ruler and The Beast finally collide inside Hell in a Cell.
After months of electric segments, the expectations are enormous. Ryan and Dom explain why this brutal showdown should be the match of the weekend—and why the result could define Oba’s future as a main-event star.
• Gunther vs. Nick Aldis: Don’t Sleep on This One
Nick Aldis has been emotional in recent interviews and training like he has something to prove. Across the ring stands Gunther, a man seemingly designed to punish anyone who believes too strongly in a comeback story.
Could this quietly steal Night One?
• CM Punk vs. Cody Rhodes: Does Cody Finally Embrace the Darkness?
Cody’s polished, heroic approach may not be enough against CM Punk.
Ryan and Dom ask whether SummerSlam is where Cody finally stops trying to be everyone’s hero, embraces his darker instincts, and becomes the version of himself capable of reclaiming the championship.
Night Two
• Penta vs. Chad Gable: A Hometown Coronation?
Chad Gable challenges Penta for the Intercontinental Championship in front of his hometown crowd.
Does Gable finally receive the feel-good championship moment fans have been waiting for—or does Penta spoil the homecoming? Either way, this could be the sleeper match of the entire weekend.
• Women’s Interim Championship Ladder Match
With Rhea Ripley sidelined, the women’s division needs someone to seize the moment.
Could Lash Legend win the ladder match and carry the championship until Rhea returns? Ryan and Dom discuss the field, the opportunity, and whether Lash is ready for a defining run.
• Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns: Believe in The Shield?
WWE keeps showing footage of The Shield, and Ryan and Dom are paying attention.
Is it simply history being used to deepen the Seth–Roman rivalry—or could SummerSlam feature a surprise appearance from a certain Lunatic Fringe?
All that and more on Episode 76 of Wrasslin’ Wroundtable—where SummerSlam is stacked, the predictions are locked in, and absolutely nothing involving The Shield feels accidental.
