Washington travels to Dallas to face the 0-1 Cowboys, and Sean Anderson believes Commanders fans need to be ready for a much better Dallas team than the one that lost to the New York Giants in Week 1. Dallas' Week 1 performance was ugly, but Sean doesn't expect many of the problems the Cowboys experienced against New York to repeat against Washington. The Cowboys only gave Javonte Williams 12 carries in Week 1, while New York dominated time of possession. Sean expects Dallas to make a major adjustment by leaning much more heavily on the running game against Washington. The Cowboys could try to control the clock, keep Jayden Daniels off the field and use the run game to set up play-action opportunities. That could create a major challenge for Washington's defense. Sean also breaks down Dallas' offensive line, which he believes is much better than the Giants made it look. Tyler Guyton played the best game Sean has seen from him at left tackle, while Cooper Beebe continues to stand out at center. With Tyler Smith currently out, Washington may have opportunities to attack Dallas at left guard and right tackle. But Sean believes Washington's defensive front needs to take advantage without allowing the Cowboys to establish confidence early. Then there's Dallas' passing game. CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens both had disappointing performances against the Giants, but Sean does not expect that to continue. Pickens struggled with drops in Week 1, while Lamb was relatively quiet by his standards. Sean believes both receivers are too talented to stay quiet for long, making Washington's secondary one of the biggest storylines of Week 2. Rasul Douglas and Mike Sainristil will have to play their best football of the season. Dak Prescott is good enough to consistently find open receivers, and Lamb and Pickens are talented enough to turn even small coverage mistakes into explosive plays. Sean also breaks down Dallas' defense. The Cowboys were bullied by the Giants in Week 1, but Washington's offense is built differently. Jayden Daniels gets the ball out quickly, and Sean believes Washington can attack Dallas differently than New York did. Caleb Downs is the one defender Washington needs to be particularly aware of. The rookie safety is already showing the ability to make plays regardless of what an offense does, so Sean believes Washington should focus on attacking the rest of Dallas' secondary. Can Washington take advantage of Dallas' weaknesses? Can the Commanders slow down CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens? And will Dallas bounce back after an ugly Week 1 loss? Sean Anderson breaks down the Cowboys roster and the biggest challenges Washington faces in Week 2.
