WEBVTT
00:00:00.999 --> 00:00:06.500
Hello, hello, hello. Welcome back, you guys.
00:00:06.919 --> 00:00:10.240
I hope you miss me. I miss you, family. I hope
00:00:10.240 --> 00:00:13.800
you guys week has been going great because the
00:00:13.800 --> 00:00:17.940
weekend is here. So lovely Saturday. I hope your
00:00:17.940 --> 00:00:21.199
Saturday is going good. You are back with me.
00:00:21.320 --> 00:00:23.820
I am back with you. Your favorite life coach,
00:00:24.079 --> 00:00:28.289
me, Cecile, is here. Shit, that's just like podcasts.
00:00:28.469 --> 00:00:31.589
We're back, people. Episode 87, I'm ready to
00:00:31.589 --> 00:00:35.969
get into it. I miss you all. I miss venting to
00:00:35.969 --> 00:00:39.609
you all. I miss being here on a daily, on a daily
00:00:39.609 --> 00:00:43.229
paces. I'm preparing to bring back the content,
00:00:43.609 --> 00:00:47.270
though. So, I miss you all because I'm ready
00:00:47.270 --> 00:00:50.990
to get back into the content part of these episodes,
00:00:51.369 --> 00:00:54.679
but... Have to be patient because I have to order
00:00:54.679 --> 00:00:58.619
things and the delivery is not the next day So
00:00:58.619 --> 00:01:03.399
I have to be patient Okay, but I had a good weekend
00:01:03.399 --> 00:01:07.760
you guys Your girl went to her first business
00:01:07.760 --> 00:01:12.540
Seminar out here in the UK. I'm so proud of myself
00:01:12.540 --> 00:01:15.519
I'm proud of myself for getting up early and
00:01:15.519 --> 00:01:21.700
going making it on time Enjoying the people now
00:01:22.159 --> 00:01:27.319
I loved everything they were saying, and it kind
00:01:27.319 --> 00:01:31.480
of resonated with what I'm doing, you know? It
00:01:31.480 --> 00:01:34.719
definitely let me know, it gave me confirmation
00:01:34.719 --> 00:01:37.920
that the things that I have in my planning journal,
00:01:38.480 --> 00:01:41.040
I'm on the right track. That's what it let me
00:01:41.040 --> 00:01:47.120
know. It also let me know that that business
00:01:47.120 --> 00:01:51.680
expo, Those people were about to charge $3 ,600
00:01:51.680 --> 00:01:57.379
just to follow the same plan that I have in my
00:01:57.379 --> 00:02:00.180
journal. So it's good that I went out there,
00:02:00.180 --> 00:02:03.120
and it's good that I was able to mingle next
00:02:03.120 --> 00:02:05.239
time I will be staying longer, because I should
00:02:05.239 --> 00:02:07.859
have stayed longer. My boyfriend beat me up about
00:02:07.859 --> 00:02:09.699
that. He was like, you should have stayed until
00:02:09.699 --> 00:02:13.159
the whole thing is over. He's right. But a part
00:02:13.159 --> 00:02:15.400
of me was just feeling like it's time to go.
00:02:15.599 --> 00:02:19.639
So I left. I left pretty early, but I also stayed
00:02:19.639 --> 00:02:24.340
long enough. Like if you ask me 9 to noon, that's
00:02:24.340 --> 00:02:26.819
pretty long because the seminar was literally
00:02:26.819 --> 00:02:30.800
from 9 to 5. That's literally a 8 hour shift
00:02:30.800 --> 00:02:33.780
and nobody's getting paid. I don't know if I
00:02:33.780 --> 00:02:38.159
can do that. So I enjoyed the seminar once I
00:02:38.159 --> 00:02:41.699
was able to conclude what the business really
00:02:41.699 --> 00:02:45.680
wanted from Us the civilians. I was like, okay,
00:02:45.800 --> 00:02:49.500
I love the business expo Love what you guys are
00:02:49.500 --> 00:02:51.939
trying to do in the uk, but I just don't have
00:02:51.939 --> 00:02:54.840
the 3600 to hand out to you right here right
00:02:54.840 --> 00:03:00.360
now I really don't But on the other note here,
00:03:00.360 --> 00:03:03.860
um, your girl is back in the gym I'm back on
00:03:03.860 --> 00:03:06.219
my health is wealth journey. I never left it,
00:03:06.319 --> 00:03:09.479
but now I'm taking it more I'm cranking it up.
00:03:09.479 --> 00:03:12.639
I'm taking it on a higher level. I'm doing my
00:03:12.639 --> 00:03:16.979
app workouts like crazy Leg workouts. I'm gonna
00:03:16.979 --> 00:03:19.900
have apps this summer. That's not a question.
00:03:20.120 --> 00:03:22.939
I'm gonna have my app showing all my content
00:03:22.939 --> 00:03:27.520
No, but I'm gonna have apps. I'm I'm aiming to
00:03:27.520 --> 00:03:30.780
have a nice Six pack. I don't know. I don't know
00:03:30.780 --> 00:03:33.180
what kind of pack is gonna be but I'm ready for
00:03:33.180 --> 00:03:37.379
my body to be banging. Once again, the gym progress,
00:03:37.580 --> 00:03:40.020
the fitness progress, the journey, I am looking
00:03:40.020 --> 00:03:43.259
well. I'm looking very, very good. I can do not,
00:03:43.400 --> 00:03:46.120
but I'm going to keep going. That's what I tell
00:03:46.120 --> 00:03:50.780
myself. I'm determined to keep going. OK. I don't
00:03:50.780 --> 00:03:56.060
know if you all have been turning on your Netflix
00:03:56.060 --> 00:03:59.099
channel and I'm just switching topics here. I'm
00:03:59.099 --> 00:04:03.520
sorry, but I'm switching topics. Netflix has
00:04:03.520 --> 00:04:06.500
almost everything now. They have the documentaries.
00:04:07.500 --> 00:04:11.419
They have the podcasts. They're two seconds from
00:04:11.419 --> 00:04:15.280
having porn on their show. Netflix is providing
00:04:15.280 --> 00:04:19.939
it all. I'm not mad at Netflix. As much as I
00:04:19.939 --> 00:04:23.199
am on the side of saying not one person should
00:04:23.199 --> 00:04:27.759
have power to everything, I'm not upset about
00:04:27.759 --> 00:04:31.160
Netflix having access to everything. Now there
00:04:31.160 --> 00:04:34.540
are pros and cons because I have family members
00:04:34.540 --> 00:04:39.720
that are young that may have access to you know
00:04:39.720 --> 00:04:42.579
Netflix and if we all have the same account all
00:04:42.579 --> 00:04:45.920
it takes is for you to go on to Switch users,
00:04:46.319 --> 00:04:48.839
you know what I'm saying? If you switch users
00:04:48.839 --> 00:04:50.860
now, they like watching when I was just watching
00:04:50.860 --> 00:04:54.759
That's that's the con in all of this. That's
00:04:54.759 --> 00:04:58.600
what I'm I'm not okay with that's the thing they
00:04:58.600 --> 00:05:02.629
need to be able to get something separate for
00:05:02.629 --> 00:05:05.170
the children. Because if that's the case, if
00:05:05.170 --> 00:05:07.670
Netflix is going to have everything, this needs
00:05:07.670 --> 00:05:11.350
to be PG. Like, if they're going to have everything,
00:05:12.589 --> 00:05:18.730
this can't be PG. These people, they better have
00:05:18.730 --> 00:05:21.089
some type of lock on this so these children are
00:05:21.089 --> 00:05:24.110
not out here taking the next step and watching
00:05:24.110 --> 00:05:26.790
Netflix, watching everything on Netflix like
00:05:26.790 --> 00:05:29.589
the adults are. I'm going to hope. there's a
00:05:29.589 --> 00:05:31.870
safety plan for the children. That's all I'm
00:05:31.870 --> 00:05:36.930
just going to say, you guys. But, you all, I
00:05:36.930 --> 00:05:41.110
do have a topic I want to talk about. I'm going
00:05:41.110 --> 00:05:43.970
to switch it up and get right into it. Okay?
00:05:45.129 --> 00:05:49.230
Okay. Now, the next topic I would like to talk
00:05:49.230 --> 00:05:53.709
about is Mrs. Baku Abbey. I think that's how
00:05:53.709 --> 00:05:57.910
you say her name. Basically, that is R. Kelly's
00:05:57.910 --> 00:06:01.160
daughter. She shares how she coped while her
00:06:01.160 --> 00:06:05.480
family faced public controversy. And I'm going
00:06:05.480 --> 00:06:08.740
to let you guys hear the audio clip that she
00:06:08.740 --> 00:06:12.139
speaks on and she was on Reginae Carter's podcast.
00:06:12.160 --> 00:06:14.079
So I'll let you guys hear the audio clip. And
00:06:14.079 --> 00:06:16.879
of course, yes, you will hear my personal opinion
00:06:16.879 --> 00:06:20.240
after we hear the audio clip. So stay near your
00:06:20.240 --> 00:06:23.360
seats. Don't go anywhere and just listen closely.
00:06:23.720 --> 00:06:27.300
Okay. All right. The audio clip is playing now.
00:06:29.430 --> 00:06:31.889
Well, one, I'm going to get a camera when I say
00:06:31.889 --> 00:06:37.310
this. Please don't. I love my father, OK? It's
00:06:37.310 --> 00:06:41.569
a big misconception that there is hate or animosity
00:06:41.569 --> 00:06:43.709
towards him. It's none of that. At the end of
00:06:43.709 --> 00:06:45.470
the day, I went through what I went through.
00:06:45.709 --> 00:06:47.410
My family went through what they went through.
00:06:47.410 --> 00:06:49.850
And I'm going to hold people accountable. However,
00:06:50.089 --> 00:06:52.930
that does not reflect how I feel about that man.
00:06:53.490 --> 00:06:56.970
I love my dad. support him as the artist that
00:06:56.970 --> 00:07:00.230
he is, but as a human being, you have a responsibility
00:07:00.230 --> 00:07:03.750
to uphold, and that's that. Your family was tied
00:07:03.750 --> 00:07:05.550
to this controversy. I just want to know, how
00:07:05.550 --> 00:07:09.550
was your mental? Like, what did you do to...
00:07:11.620 --> 00:07:14.839
yourself yeah I think I'm honestly I'm still
00:07:14.839 --> 00:07:18.560
learning I'm learning different coping mechanisms
00:07:18.560 --> 00:07:20.699
and like what is actually the healthiest for
00:07:20.699 --> 00:07:23.339
me I think is no secret at all that I've definitely
00:07:23.339 --> 00:07:26.009
struggled with like mental health substance abuse
00:07:26.009 --> 00:07:28.449
now to be clear we're not talking hard drugs
00:07:28.449 --> 00:07:31.110
i'm talking weed and alcohol like let's start
00:07:31.110 --> 00:07:34.189
there but at the end of the day at certain points
00:07:34.189 --> 00:07:36.769
in my life that was definitely something i struggled
00:07:36.769 --> 00:07:39.889
with like for real though um and that was the
00:07:39.889 --> 00:07:42.189
way that i was coping through but i think more
00:07:42.189 --> 00:07:46.810
than anything i try my best to just keep my focus
00:07:46.810 --> 00:07:49.069
on god like i don't know what your spiritual
00:07:49.069 --> 00:07:52.870
beliefs are but i 100 believe in the lord okay
00:07:55.129 --> 00:07:58.449
okay so you guys heard it you guys heard the
00:07:58.449 --> 00:08:02.930
audio clip so now from my own personal review
00:08:02.930 --> 00:08:07.949
here i can say i do agree that there are multiple
00:08:07.949 --> 00:08:13.829
ways of coping multiple coping mechanisms i do
00:08:13.829 --> 00:08:16.990
think sometimes we just got to explore different
00:08:16.990 --> 00:08:19.329
ones because what works for one person doesn't
00:08:19.329 --> 00:08:22.029
work for the next I'm glad that she's taking
00:08:22.029 --> 00:08:26.149
her mental health serious, especially considering
00:08:26.149 --> 00:08:32.710
that her family was at the forefront and first
00:08:32.710 --> 00:08:36.710
page. All her business was out there. So I can
00:08:36.710 --> 00:08:39.730
only imagine what that did to her mental. So
00:08:39.730 --> 00:08:43.190
I'm glad that she's focusing on that. And that
00:08:43.190 --> 00:08:46.350
is something that we all need to do, especially
00:08:46.350 --> 00:08:51.179
not just. celebrities and artists and celebrities'
00:08:51.360 --> 00:08:55.620
children. No, anyone that finds themselves in
00:08:55.620 --> 00:08:58.419
a pickle or their family is going through rough
00:08:58.419 --> 00:09:00.980
patches and it starts to affect their mental.
00:09:01.580 --> 00:09:05.899
Take a break. Go through the different steps.
00:09:06.080 --> 00:09:09.379
Try different methodisms that will help your
00:09:09.379 --> 00:09:12.620
brain and help your mental stay intact. Don't
00:09:12.620 --> 00:09:17.019
be afraid to try different stuff because And
00:09:17.019 --> 00:09:19.860
that doesn't always mean drugs, baby. Okay. You
00:09:19.860 --> 00:09:23.700
can try drawing, going out for walks, reading.
00:09:24.539 --> 00:09:27.440
It's always multiple healthy ways. Getting out
00:09:27.440 --> 00:09:30.740
there, being more proactive is just always healthy
00:09:30.740 --> 00:09:33.740
ways to get out there and try to really keep
00:09:33.740 --> 00:09:37.220
that mental intact, especially if you want a
00:09:37.220 --> 00:09:39.500
loved one to one that's nearly very close to
00:09:39.500 --> 00:09:41.960
your heart is going through things. I know that
00:09:41.960 --> 00:09:46.720
that can affect one person. I know from First
00:09:46.720 --> 00:09:50.960
hand experience. Okay, but my family starts to
00:09:50.960 --> 00:09:52.580
go through things and then they start to call
00:09:52.580 --> 00:09:56.159
me Maybe I start to stress but I don't stress
00:09:56.159 --> 00:09:59.379
too hard because then I always tell myself do
00:09:59.379 --> 00:10:01.820
not stress over things You cannot control so
00:10:01.820 --> 00:10:04.080
anything I can't control I don't stress over
00:10:04.080 --> 00:10:07.600
but I will still a prayer I will send whatever
00:10:07.600 --> 00:10:11.539
help I can but Over stretching over stretching
00:10:11.539 --> 00:10:16.919
myself out over overthinking overdoing anything
00:10:16.919 --> 00:10:22.019
I Try not to overdo it. No not anymore. I used
00:10:22.019 --> 00:10:25.460
to go full -blown fledge out nowadays I'm like
00:10:25.460 --> 00:10:29.580
dope protect my peace. I'll send a prayer I'll
00:10:29.580 --> 00:10:35.259
send you multiple Suggestions and advice in different
00:10:35.259 --> 00:10:39.179
different avenues towards making your mental
00:10:39.179 --> 00:10:42.039
health better I'll send you a lot of suggestions.
00:10:42.039 --> 00:10:45.990
Hey girl. Try this go here Hey, have you ever
00:10:45.990 --> 00:10:48.970
done this? Would you be ever be willing to try
00:10:48.970 --> 00:10:51.950
something like this? I will switch it up, but
00:10:51.950 --> 00:10:55.210
that's just my personal view. Okay I'm glad you
00:10:55.210 --> 00:10:58.750
guys were able to tune in today and Listen to
00:10:58.750 --> 00:11:02.029
me your favorite life coach Go on and on and
00:11:02.029 --> 00:11:04.470
just broadcast and tell you guys what's going
00:11:04.470 --> 00:11:06.509
on out there in the world And I'm glad you were
00:11:06.509 --> 00:11:09.049
able to listen to my personal opinion. All right.
00:11:09.049 --> 00:11:12.730
Thank you for tuning in every day on that note
00:11:13.389 --> 00:11:17.909
I will leave you guys with the business expo
00:11:17.909 --> 00:11:22.070
audio that I did go to. Like I said, when I went,
00:11:22.929 --> 00:11:25.149
they were saying some very good things. They
00:11:25.149 --> 00:11:27.490
were saying things people need to hear. You might
00:11:27.490 --> 00:11:29.429
even hear some things that you heard before,
00:11:29.870 --> 00:11:33.289
but make sure you listen through the whole pod.
00:11:33.990 --> 00:11:36.169
This is things we need to hear as entrepreneurs,
00:11:36.529 --> 00:11:39.769
as young people that are trying to get out there
00:11:39.769 --> 00:11:41.730
into the world and take our business to a whole
00:11:41.730 --> 00:11:44.049
nother level. These are the talks that we should
00:11:44.049 --> 00:11:46.629
be having. So I'll let you guys hear the audio
00:11:46.629 --> 00:11:49.950
clip. Like I stated, this was episode 87. Thank
00:11:49.950 --> 00:11:54.509
you for tuning in every day. Of course, before
00:11:54.509 --> 00:11:57.850
I leave out with the audio clip, I'm going to
00:11:57.850 --> 00:12:00.129
leave you with a piece of advice because what
00:12:00.129 --> 00:12:02.769
kind of life coach would I be if I didn't leave
00:12:02.769 --> 00:12:06.450
you with a piece of advice? OK, so with that
00:12:06.450 --> 00:12:09.570
being said, my good people, piece of advice.
00:12:10.610 --> 00:12:13.970
Consistency wins because it's not what you do
00:12:13.970 --> 00:12:16.370
once in a while that matters. It's what you do
00:12:16.370 --> 00:12:20.990
every day. And on that note, stay close, keep
00:12:20.990 --> 00:12:25.769
your ears to the speakers, keep on the podcast
00:12:25.769 --> 00:12:29.409
because the audio clip from the business expo
00:12:29.409 --> 00:12:33.070
is starting now. Thank you for tuning in. Success
00:12:33.070 --> 00:12:35.649
without fulfillment is the ultimate failure.
00:12:36.659 --> 00:12:39.419
By the way, said with love, no judgment, if you're
00:12:39.419 --> 00:12:42.500
not taking notes, you will retain three times
00:12:42.500 --> 00:12:45.259
more information and you will be five times more
00:12:45.259 --> 00:12:48.100
likely to take action on the information provided
00:12:48.100 --> 00:12:51.399
if you make notes. It's not for me, you know,
00:12:51.480 --> 00:12:53.500
it's not school, you don't have to do, but I'm
00:12:53.500 --> 00:12:56.179
telling you, if you want to retain this information,
00:12:56.539 --> 00:12:58.460
I highly recommend that you make notes. Not for
00:12:58.460 --> 00:13:00.000
me, I'm going to change my life, but it will
00:13:00.000 --> 00:13:02.539
change yours. Now let me explain the quote. Let
00:13:02.539 --> 00:13:05.830
me ask you this. If you master social media and
00:13:05.830 --> 00:13:08.309
you get loads of leads, more than you can ever
00:13:08.309 --> 00:13:10.830
possibly imagine, you're like, oh my god, we've
00:13:10.830 --> 00:13:13.289
got more leads than we've ever had. But those
00:13:13.289 --> 00:13:17.129
leads don't translate into sales. Is that real
00:13:17.129 --> 00:13:20.409
success? Yes or no, team? Participate with me,
00:13:20.450 --> 00:13:23.850
team. Yes or no? Let's imagine that you get loads
00:13:23.850 --> 00:13:25.769
of leads and you turn them into sales and you
00:13:25.769 --> 00:13:28.190
turn them into revenue. The seasoned entrepreneurs
00:13:28.190 --> 00:13:30.730
that know the answer to this. That revenue does
00:13:30.730 --> 00:13:33.259
not translate into profit. Is that real success?
00:13:33.419 --> 00:13:37.500
Yes or no? Revenue is vanity. Profit is sanity.
00:13:38.259 --> 00:13:40.759
Let's imagine that you get revenue into profit.
00:13:41.120 --> 00:13:43.220
You're now number one in your industry in space.
00:13:43.539 --> 00:13:45.899
You're now award -winning. You're now the top
00:13:45.899 --> 00:13:49.200
dog, the guru in your industry. And now the people
00:13:49.200 --> 00:13:51.240
that you love complain they don't see you anymore.
00:13:53.419 --> 00:13:55.960
Is that real success? Yes or no team? No. Yes
00:13:55.960 --> 00:14:02.259
or no team? No. Trust me, it's not. or you're
00:14:02.259 --> 00:14:05.120
crushing it in business and now your doctor tells
00:14:05.120 --> 00:14:07.240
you if you don't slow down a little bit, you
00:14:07.240 --> 00:14:10.519
might have a stroke or a heart attack. Is that
00:14:10.519 --> 00:14:13.639
real success? It's mercy. So what that means
00:14:13.639 --> 00:14:16.059
to you is success without fulfillment is your
00:14:16.059 --> 00:14:17.899
ultimate failure. You need to be really clear.
00:14:18.139 --> 00:14:20.700
Social media is not why you're here. You're here
00:14:20.700 --> 00:14:23.059
for what it can do for you. Be really clear about
00:14:23.059 --> 00:14:25.360
that. The reason I'm going so hard on that straight
00:14:25.360 --> 00:14:27.980
out of the game is because a mentor did this
00:14:27.980 --> 00:14:31.019
on me once. He said, what are you really here?
00:14:31.139 --> 00:14:32.860
And I just gave him the honor of learning a bit
00:14:32.860 --> 00:14:34.799
of that story. He was like, no. And because we
00:14:34.799 --> 00:14:36.500
had a rapport and a relationship, I was willing
00:14:36.500 --> 00:14:39.019
to tell him the real answer. I said, well, if
00:14:39.019 --> 00:14:41.399
you want the real answer, I said, it goes back
00:14:41.399 --> 00:14:44.799
to my childhood. I've already told you. Raised
00:14:44.799 --> 00:14:46.940
on a council estate in Birmingham. Raised by
00:14:46.940 --> 00:14:49.460
my mum, single parent. My mother and dad broke
00:14:49.460 --> 00:14:52.240
up and got a rapport. My mum and I, any given
00:14:52.240 --> 00:14:54.620
time, went through jobs. My mum didn't get to
00:14:54.620 --> 00:14:57.100
come to school, plays. Didn't watch me play football
00:14:57.100 --> 00:15:01.379
or was working. Naively as a kid, I assumed if
00:15:01.379 --> 00:15:03.879
your mom's got three jobs, financially, you're
00:15:03.879 --> 00:15:06.159
probably doing alright. Anybody that's had an
00:15:06.159 --> 00:15:07.940
upbringing like that knows that's obviously not
00:15:07.940 --> 00:15:10.580
the case. We probably ran out of pay -as -you
00:15:10.580 --> 00:15:12.759
-go electric tokens at least once a week. We
00:15:12.759 --> 00:15:15.539
were broke. So as a kid growing up, I made a
00:15:15.539 --> 00:15:17.940
decision. I said, when I grow up, so I don't
00:15:17.940 --> 00:15:20.000
grow up, yeah, you don't grow up. I said, when
00:15:20.000 --> 00:15:22.139
I grow up, I want to make sure I have two things.
00:15:22.460 --> 00:15:25.539
One, financial freedom. And the second one more
00:15:25.539 --> 00:15:28.120
important than that, time freedom. Here's why.
00:15:28.850 --> 00:15:31.750
You can't always make more money, T, but you
00:15:31.750 --> 00:15:36.190
can't make more time. Anybody in the room that's
00:15:36.190 --> 00:15:38.029
lost a loved one knows the thing or two about
00:15:38.029 --> 00:15:43.149
that. So know this thing, you're not here on
00:15:43.149 --> 00:15:45.649
social media, you're here for what it can do
00:15:45.649 --> 00:15:51.049
for you. Be really clear about that. Second point,
00:15:51.710 --> 00:15:54.129
once we know what it is that we want, next thing
00:15:54.129 --> 00:15:57.110
we've got to do, is we've actually got to get...
00:15:57.450 --> 00:16:00.690
The right knowledge, the right skills, the right
00:16:00.690 --> 00:16:03.049
resources to get us to where we want to get to.
00:16:03.629 --> 00:16:05.769
This is where we now need to know what is the
00:16:05.769 --> 00:16:08.129
right marketing, because really social media
00:16:08.129 --> 00:16:11.009
is marketing. What is the right marketing to
00:16:11.009 --> 00:16:15.789
you fellows? Oh you didn't hear that, okay sorry.
00:16:16.110 --> 00:16:18.429
Got me carried away there. You need to know the
00:16:18.429 --> 00:16:21.110
right marketing to get to your outcome. We call
00:16:21.110 --> 00:16:24.610
this the marketing recipe, let me explain. Isn't
00:16:24.610 --> 00:16:28.230
it true, team, that all the recipe is is ingredients
00:16:28.230 --> 00:16:30.269
and an order and sequence in which to mix those
00:16:30.269 --> 00:16:32.929
ingredients. That's nice. If you mix the ingredients
00:16:32.929 --> 00:16:34.509
in the right order, you get the right result.
00:16:35.289 --> 00:16:37.129
If you mix the ingredients in the wrong order,
00:16:37.129 --> 00:16:38.909
you get my wife's banana bread, and that's the
00:16:38.909 --> 00:16:41.789
story for another day. That joke just fell in
00:16:41.789 --> 00:16:47.529
my head. Here's the thing, team. When it comes
00:16:47.529 --> 00:16:50.070
to social media, it's like a recipe. Right now,
00:16:50.070 --> 00:16:51.710
you know what you know, you know what you don't
00:16:51.710 --> 00:16:53.370
know, but you don't know what you don't know.
00:16:53.990 --> 00:16:55.529
There's a mouthful for you on a Friday morning.
00:16:55.730 --> 00:16:58.269
Let me explain what I mean. Participate, we'll
00:16:58.269 --> 00:17:01.230
be honest to you. When you learn to drive, those
00:17:01.230 --> 00:17:02.710
of you that don't drive will still get the point.
00:17:03.389 --> 00:17:05.490
When you learn to drive, do you have to get an
00:17:05.490 --> 00:17:07.670
instructor to teach you? Yes or no? Yes. Who
00:17:07.670 --> 00:17:14.670
said no? Make them around your streets. Get in
00:17:14.670 --> 00:17:18.789
the train. When you learn social media, do you
00:17:18.789 --> 00:17:21.410
have to get an instructor to teach you? Yes or
00:17:21.410 --> 00:17:25.109
no? Yes. No. No. The answer's no. Thank you for
00:17:25.109 --> 00:17:27.849
those of you that said yes. I know he wants us
00:17:27.849 --> 00:17:31.289
to say yes. No. The answer is no. You don't have
00:17:31.289 --> 00:17:33.750
to be an instructor. You can figure it out for
00:17:33.750 --> 00:17:36.470
yourself. And that's why many of you in this
00:17:36.470 --> 00:17:39.309
room may be having to figure it out here. Because
00:17:39.309 --> 00:17:41.950
you've been trying to do it for yourself. Trying
00:17:41.950 --> 00:17:44.049
to figure everything out for yourself. And why
00:17:44.049 --> 00:17:46.569
would you get an instructor when you don't have
00:17:46.569 --> 00:17:49.430
to? Of course. Of course you would try and figure
00:17:49.430 --> 00:17:52.329
it out for yourself. And just so you know, trying
00:17:52.329 --> 00:17:54.410
to figure it out for myself, that used to be
00:17:54.410 --> 00:17:58.140
me. Posting, posting, posting, posting, getting
00:17:58.140 --> 00:18:02.039
nowhere fast. Then I went to an event similar
00:18:02.039 --> 00:18:04.059
to this. In Birmingham, there was a guy on stage
00:18:04.059 --> 00:18:06.420
that day, a social media event. His name was
00:18:06.420 --> 00:18:08.960
Chris Black. I now call him Coach Chris. We're
00:18:08.960 --> 00:18:11.500
good friends now. And Coach Chris was talking
00:18:11.500 --> 00:18:14.259
about the power of social media. And he was saying,
00:18:14.680 --> 00:18:16.220
stop doing this, do more of this, and you'll
00:18:16.220 --> 00:18:18.599
be successful. And there was an opportunity that
00:18:18.599 --> 00:18:21.619
day to invest in coaching with Coach Chris at
00:18:21.619 --> 00:18:23.990
the end of that event. There was an opportunity
00:18:23.990 --> 00:18:26.410
that day to go to the back of the room and invest
00:18:26.410 --> 00:18:28.829
in Coach Chris's social media training. Of course
00:18:28.829 --> 00:18:31.190
there was. I wasn't naive enough to think there
00:18:31.190 --> 00:18:33.190
wouldn't be that opportunity. It was a bloody
00:18:33.190 --> 00:18:35.630
free event. So I had a decision to make that
00:18:35.630 --> 00:18:37.910
day. Do I keep trying to figure everything out
00:18:37.910 --> 00:18:40.670
for myself? Or do I take the help and support
00:18:40.670 --> 00:18:42.369
that's being offered? Do you want to know what
00:18:42.369 --> 00:18:45.410
my first response was? First response was this.
00:18:45.930 --> 00:18:49.490
I'm not doing it. Let me tell you why that was
00:18:49.490 --> 00:18:52.210
my first response. It goes back to my childhood.
00:18:52.990 --> 00:18:56.710
My mum's advice to me as a kid, Miles, don't
00:18:56.710 --> 00:19:00.390
rely on other people because your dad left. Figure
00:19:00.390 --> 00:19:04.289
everything out for yourself. Good advice, because
00:19:04.289 --> 00:19:07.130
it makes me very independent, but it also makes
00:19:07.130 --> 00:19:10.369
me very guided to help and support. Just so you
00:19:10.369 --> 00:19:13.869
know, team, not everybody's out to get you. Just
00:19:13.869 --> 00:19:17.190
so you know. So after checking with my intuition,
00:19:17.390 --> 00:19:19.319
that's the same way to my next point. I went
00:19:19.319 --> 00:19:21.460
to the back of the room that day. I enrolled
00:19:21.460 --> 00:19:23.960
in Coach Chris's social media training. A thousand
00:19:23.960 --> 00:19:27.539
pound investment that day turned into £464 ,000
00:19:27.539 --> 00:19:31.319
in 18 months. Good decision, yes or no team?
00:19:31.920 --> 00:19:33.940
Yes. Yes or no team? Yes. Yes or no team? Yes.
00:19:33.940 --> 00:19:34.500
Yes or no team? Yes. Yes or no team? Yes. Yes
00:19:34.500 --> 00:19:34.500
or no team? Yes. Yes or no team? Yes. Yes or
00:19:34.500 --> 00:19:34.500
no team? Yes. Yes or no team? Yes. Yes or no
00:19:34.500 --> 00:19:34.539
team? Yes. Yes or no team? Yes. Yes or no team?
00:19:34.559 --> 00:19:34.559
Yes. Yes or no team? Yes. Yes or no team? Yes.
00:19:34.559 --> 00:19:34.559
Yes or no team? Yes. Yes or no team? Yes. Yes
00:19:34.559 --> 00:19:34.559
or no team? Yes. Yes or no team? Yes. Yes or
00:19:34.559 --> 00:19:34.579
no team? Yes or no team? Yes. Yes or no team?
00:19:34.579 --> 00:19:34.640
Yes. Yes or no team? Yes or no team? Yes or no
00:19:34.640 --> 00:19:35.880
team? Yes. Yes or no team? Yes or no team? Yes.
00:19:35.960 --> 00:19:37.680
Yes or no team? Yes or no team We're going to
00:19:37.680 --> 00:19:39.279
be your instructors here today. We're going to
00:19:39.279 --> 00:19:41.059
teach you when to accelerate, when to break,
00:19:41.119 --> 00:19:43.059
and everything in between in accordance with
00:19:43.059 --> 00:19:45.119
social media. Would it help you if we were your
00:19:45.119 --> 00:19:47.720
instructors today? Yes or no, team? Yes! And
00:19:47.720 --> 00:19:49.539
that's what we're going to do here today. Next
00:19:49.539 --> 00:19:53.400
point. Next point. Let's assume then that we
00:19:53.400 --> 00:19:55.880
know what it is we want. Let's assume then that
00:19:55.880 --> 00:19:58.599
we now know that there is a specific marketing
00:19:58.599 --> 00:20:01.140
recipe that we need to follow. If we don't do
00:20:01.140 --> 00:20:03.299
this next thing, we are still not going to get
00:20:03.299 --> 00:20:05.400
to where we want to get to. So the next thing,
00:20:05.460 --> 00:20:08.059
the most obvious thing of them all, is we have
00:20:08.059 --> 00:20:10.599
to take action. But not any other action team.
00:20:10.839 --> 00:20:13.519
We've got to take what I call good action. Let
00:20:13.519 --> 00:20:16.440
me explain what I mean. Every single one of you
00:20:16.440 --> 00:20:19.099
in this room has an intuition, an instinct that's
00:20:19.099 --> 00:20:23.319
telling you what to do and what not to do. Here's
00:20:23.319 --> 00:20:25.990
the challenge. Rookie entrepreneurs hear the
00:20:25.990 --> 00:20:29.529
intuition, but they don't always follow it. Here's
00:20:29.529 --> 00:20:33.130
why. Because the brain is more powerful than
00:20:33.130 --> 00:20:36.750
the intuition. Here's the problem, though. The
00:20:36.750 --> 00:20:39.250
brain doesn't know the difference between rational
00:20:39.250 --> 00:20:43.289
fear and irrational fear. Let me explain. Rational
00:20:43.289 --> 00:20:46.369
fear. Participate in the honesty. You're in a
00:20:46.369 --> 00:20:49.769
zoo, and hear a zookeeper shout over your shoulder.
00:21:00.529 --> 00:21:03.049
Here's another option. You're in the middle of
00:21:03.049 --> 00:21:05.609
Middlesbrough and your intuition is telling you
00:21:05.609 --> 00:21:08.970
to go live on Facebook and you don't because
00:21:08.970 --> 00:21:11.269
there's people around and you get a little bit
00:21:11.269 --> 00:21:15.089
scared. Do you understand that that is irrational
00:21:15.089 --> 00:21:17.890
fear and there's no actual line that can jump
00:21:17.890 --> 00:21:20.630
out and kill you? Yes or no team? Yes. Do you
00:21:20.630 --> 00:21:23.009
understand the difference? Here's the problem
00:21:23.009 --> 00:21:25.680
though. The brain doesn't know the difference.
00:21:26.579 --> 00:21:31.059
So how do we override that? That fear of failure,
00:21:31.279 --> 00:21:33.799
that fear of rejection, that fear of what all
00:21:33.799 --> 00:21:37.180
people think, how do we override it? Mel Robbins
00:21:37.180 --> 00:21:39.000
wrote a great book on this many years ago, it's
00:21:39.000 --> 00:21:41.480
called Five Seconds of War, if you haven't read
00:21:41.480 --> 00:21:44.400
it, I've just seen the book, Five Seconds. She
00:21:44.400 --> 00:21:47.700
basically said, the next time your intuition
00:21:47.700 --> 00:21:50.619
tells you to do something, you've got five seconds.
00:21:50.829 --> 00:21:53.150
to take action on your intuition telling you
00:21:53.150 --> 00:21:56.490
what to do. Because if you don't, you'll stay
00:21:56.490 --> 00:21:59.569
where you are. So the difference between a rookie
00:21:59.569 --> 00:22:01.890
entrepreneur and a successful entrepreneur is
00:22:01.890 --> 00:22:04.789
rookie entrepreneurs hear the intuition and don't
00:22:04.789 --> 00:22:08.289
act on it out of fear. Successful entrepreneurs
00:22:08.289 --> 00:22:11.589
hear the intuition and they know if their intuition
00:22:11.589 --> 00:22:15.009
is telling them to do it, they must do it. I
00:22:15.009 --> 00:22:16.910
guarantee every single one of you in this room
00:22:16.910 --> 00:22:20.759
has had the experience where your intuition has
00:22:20.759 --> 00:22:23.900
told you to do something, and you haven't done
00:22:23.900 --> 00:22:27.039
it, and made no reflection of this and regret
00:22:27.039 --> 00:22:29.579
that. Like a few years ago, it was happening
00:22:29.579 --> 00:22:31.779
in Las Vegas for a work thing, my wife calls
00:22:31.779 --> 00:22:35.440
it a holiday, it was a work thing. It was a bit
00:22:35.440 --> 00:22:38.720
of a holiday. The evening after the event, there
00:22:38.720 --> 00:22:44.559
was a drinks reception. So I went out. Now, there
00:22:44.559 --> 00:22:47.880
was a group of us. Half of the group had committed
00:22:47.880 --> 00:22:51.930
all in. Following all in, They're going, they've
00:22:51.930 --> 00:22:54.009
paid for it, and there's space that's still available
00:22:54.009 --> 00:22:57.849
since Skyline went to the Grand Canyon. Half
00:22:57.849 --> 00:22:59.809
the other group stayed up a little bit later
00:22:59.809 --> 00:23:03.589
to drink. That was me. I stayed out of the group.
00:23:04.609 --> 00:23:07.309
My larval didn't go off, and I missed the bus
00:23:07.309 --> 00:23:10.970
at dawn, 4am, to go to the Grand Canyon to Skyline.
00:23:11.710 --> 00:23:16.349
I now have some regret about that. I did the
00:23:16.349 --> 00:23:18.250
morning after because I missed that opportunity.
00:23:18.809 --> 00:23:21.470
Now I have since skydived. There was a report
00:23:21.470 --> 00:23:25.210
of us. No offence if you reported us, but it
00:23:25.210 --> 00:23:27.509
ain't the grand canyon, right? Do you get the
00:23:27.509 --> 00:23:30.450
point? Yes, I do. My intuition was telling me
00:23:30.450 --> 00:23:33.730
go to bed, Myles. This is a once in a lifetime,
00:23:33.910 --> 00:23:37.190
Myles. You've never skydived before, and here's
00:23:37.190 --> 00:23:39.769
your opportunity to do it in an amazing place.
00:23:40.369 --> 00:23:42.190
I missed the opportunity. You're all with me
00:23:42.190 --> 00:23:45.130
so far, isn't it? So here's what you've got to
00:23:45.130 --> 00:23:47.609
do. The next time your intuition tells you to
00:23:47.609 --> 00:23:49.750
do something, you've got to act on it. Now the
00:23:49.750 --> 00:23:53.349
good thing is, when you start to do it more often,
00:23:53.809 --> 00:23:57.049
your intuition grows like a muscle. So I was
00:23:57.049 --> 00:23:59.609
at an event a few years ago, similar to the event
00:23:59.609 --> 00:24:01.549
I spoke about with Coach Chris, but this time
00:24:01.549 --> 00:24:04.910
it's a big event in London, Earl's Court, 2 ,000
00:24:04.910 --> 00:24:07.690
people, called the National Achievers' Congress.
00:24:08.839 --> 00:24:11.980
And the headline speaker was Richard Branson.
00:24:12.740 --> 00:24:15.339
I was really excited, right? Big fan of Richard
00:24:15.339 --> 00:24:18.099
Branson. There was a guy speaking at the end
00:24:18.099 --> 00:24:21.839
of day one. His name was Coach Andy. Coach Andy
00:24:21.839 --> 00:24:23.960
was talking about when you learn how to speak,
00:24:24.059 --> 00:24:26.140
when you learn how to communicate better, you
00:24:26.140 --> 00:24:28.160
can help a lot more people and earn a lot more
00:24:28.160 --> 00:24:30.359
money and a lot less time. I was like, I like
00:24:30.359 --> 00:24:32.740
the sound of that. Here's why that was significant
00:24:32.740 --> 00:24:35.460
for me. Because you know the business I've just
00:24:35.460 --> 00:24:39.839
told you about, £1 ,000 in, £464 ,000 out? That
00:24:39.839 --> 00:24:42.319
business, a sales training business for gyms
00:24:42.319 --> 00:24:44.140
and health clubs, that's my background because
00:24:44.140 --> 00:24:46.759
my mom ran a gym or mentioned that, that business
00:24:46.759 --> 00:24:50.319
required me to travel all over the country three,
00:24:50.420 --> 00:24:53.180
four days a week to earn a day rate of £3 ,000
00:24:53.180 --> 00:24:57.299
a day. Wow, some of you, £3 ,000 a day, sounds
00:24:57.299 --> 00:25:00.119
good. Yeah, it was good financially, but it wasn't
00:25:00.119 --> 00:25:02.230
good from a time point of view. because I have
00:25:02.230 --> 00:25:03.970
to travel all over the country to earn those
00:25:03.970 --> 00:25:06.569
day rates. Are you guys with me? Yes or no? Yes.
00:25:06.589 --> 00:25:09.150
So what that means is, this is why I went so
00:25:09.150 --> 00:25:10.890
hard at the beginning of the day, is you can
00:25:10.890 --> 00:25:12.309
always make more money if you can't make more
00:25:12.309 --> 00:25:14.730
time. So if you think your goal is to make more
00:25:14.730 --> 00:25:16.809
money, you're wrong. Because if you make more
00:25:16.809 --> 00:25:18.529
money, you don't have the time that's irrelevant.
00:25:18.869 --> 00:25:20.690
If you can't spend time with the people you love.
00:25:20.950 --> 00:25:23.210
Are you guys with me? Yes or no? Yes. So Coach
00:25:23.210 --> 00:25:25.349
Andy's talking about this opportunity, and it's
00:25:25.349 --> 00:25:29.849
clearly teaching me how I could speak to more
00:25:29.849 --> 00:25:33.289
people in one go. and do more of what I do with
00:25:33.289 --> 00:25:35.650
my business, but have a lot more time to myself,
00:25:35.809 --> 00:25:37.490
and to my family, and to my wife and my children.
00:25:38.490 --> 00:25:40.309
I had the decision to make that then, because
00:25:40.309 --> 00:25:42.630
Coach Andy, at that National Achievers' Congress,
00:25:43.069 --> 00:25:45.710
obviously, bless you, obviously, there was an
00:25:45.710 --> 00:25:47.750
opportunity to go to the back of the room again,
00:25:47.930 --> 00:25:49.609
free of bed, wasn't naive enough to think there
00:25:49.609 --> 00:25:52.390
wouldn't be, to enroll in Coach Andy's presenting
00:25:52.390 --> 00:25:56.160
training. 3 ,000 pound investment. This time
00:25:56.160 --> 00:25:58.279
I listened to regulation straight away. Went
00:25:58.279 --> 00:26:01.059
to the bank, enrolled in his training. £3 ,000
00:26:01.059 --> 00:26:03.319
investment that day. That's turning to £2 million
00:26:03.319 --> 00:26:06.640
in sales so far. Was that a good investment?
00:26:06.839 --> 00:26:09.299
Was that a good decision? Yes, Murphy? Absolutely.
00:26:09.680 --> 00:26:12.019
That changed my freaking life. Not so much from
00:26:12.019 --> 00:26:14.279
a financial point of view, but more from a time
00:26:14.279 --> 00:26:17.740
point of view. It gave me time back. Here's what
00:26:17.740 --> 00:26:20.000
it also did. That's had a positive knock -on
00:26:20.000 --> 00:26:22.400
effect to my family in a way you can never possibly
00:26:22.400 --> 00:26:25.519
imagine. One of my children, Sage, is six years
00:26:25.519 --> 00:26:28.980
old. And Sage recently was at school, and her
00:26:28.980 --> 00:26:32.839
teacher, Mrs. O 'Kane, said to the class, children,
00:26:33.119 --> 00:26:34.980
I don't know why I'm doing a Victorian accent
00:26:34.980 --> 00:26:39.339
for Mrs. O 'Kane. Leave the acting alone, guys.
00:26:39.539 --> 00:26:41.980
Leave the acting alone. Children, who'd be willing
00:26:41.980 --> 00:26:43.859
to help them in the next part of the presentation?
00:26:44.680 --> 00:26:47.319
Now, I tell myself, Sage, you're up in five seconds,
00:26:47.380 --> 00:26:49.380
because it sounds fair as a story, because I've
00:26:49.380 --> 00:26:51.059
just told you the whole five -second rule thing,
00:26:51.200 --> 00:26:54.579
right? Anyway, Sage gets up, helps Mrs. O 'Kane
00:26:54.579 --> 00:26:57.000
with the presentation, does it, all the other
00:26:57.000 --> 00:26:59.779
kids give her a little, right, Sage sits back
00:26:59.779 --> 00:27:02.619
down, after school I pick her up, we scoot her
00:27:02.619 --> 00:27:05.180
in home, and I said to her, because Mrs. O 'Kane
00:27:05.180 --> 00:27:07.960
had told me what Sage did, Sage, how did you
00:27:07.960 --> 00:27:11.319
have the courage to get up and do that in front
00:27:11.319 --> 00:27:13.720
of the class? Honestly, proper improvisation,
00:27:13.839 --> 00:27:17.180
at last, what are you doing today? So here's
00:27:17.180 --> 00:27:18.599
the thing, if you're not going to fulfil your
00:27:18.599 --> 00:27:21.200
true potential for you, Do it for the people
00:27:21.200 --> 00:27:24.259
that you love. I want to give you a shortcut,
00:27:24.500 --> 00:27:27.259
T. Do you want a shortcut to just figure all
00:27:27.259 --> 00:27:29.380
this stuff out? So just tell me straight, yes
00:27:29.380 --> 00:27:34.319
or no? Yes! Look around this room just for a
00:27:34.319 --> 00:27:36.460
minute. Don't look at anybody too long, they
00:27:36.460 --> 00:27:39.880
can freak him out. Do you know what this room
00:27:39.880 --> 00:27:42.500
is? This room is what I call the judgment freezer.
00:27:43.099 --> 00:27:45.059
Let me explain what I mean. Out there in the
00:27:45.059 --> 00:27:48.009
global world, after Harry Potter... People out
00:27:48.009 --> 00:27:50.569
there may judge you for going for your dream.
00:27:51.130 --> 00:27:53.089
For going big, for dreaming big, for wanting
00:27:53.089 --> 00:27:55.630
to fulfill your true potential. Out there, people
00:27:55.630 --> 00:27:59.950
may judge you. Not in here. Because isn't it
00:27:59.950 --> 00:28:02.049
true, team, that every single one of you in this
00:28:02.049 --> 00:28:04.069
room, although you are independent, different
00:28:04.069 --> 00:28:06.089
and unique, you're all here because you want
00:28:06.089 --> 00:28:08.190
to take your life and all your business to the
00:28:08.190 --> 00:28:11.109
next level. Yes or no, team? Yes! Yes or no,
00:28:11.210 --> 00:28:14.670
team? Yes! So, here's number one. Number one
00:28:14.670 --> 00:28:17.380
is spend more time with people like you. Jim
00:28:17.380 --> 00:28:19.599
Roane has a saying for this, who you spend time
00:28:19.599 --> 00:28:22.980
with is who you become. Spend more time with
00:28:22.980 --> 00:28:26.839
people like you. Spend more time with people
00:28:26.839 --> 00:28:28.819
like you. People at the same level of ambition
00:28:28.819 --> 00:28:31.480
as you. Similar level of drive as you. Similar
00:28:31.480 --> 00:28:34.220
level of passion as you. Similar level of positivity
00:28:34.220 --> 00:28:36.480
as you. Because if you don't, you'll be dragged
00:28:36.480 --> 00:28:39.279
back by the people that don't. Jim Roane said
00:28:39.279 --> 00:28:41.319
it best, who you spend time with is who you become.
00:28:41.680 --> 00:28:43.839
Miles Grant said, if you spend time with five
00:28:43.839 --> 00:28:46.180
successful ambitious people, you'll be the sixth.
00:28:46.480 --> 00:28:48.660
If you spend time with five whiny negative people
00:28:48.660 --> 00:28:54.200
like idiots, you'll be the same. Thank you. Alright?
00:28:54.619 --> 00:28:56.140
So who do you spend time with as you become?
00:28:56.900 --> 00:28:59.779
Second point is you want to spend time with people
00:28:59.779 --> 00:29:02.099
that are more successful than you. Here's why
00:29:02.099 --> 00:29:05.019
this is important. If you're the smartest person
00:29:05.019 --> 00:29:08.819
in the room, you are in the wrong room. If you're
00:29:08.819 --> 00:29:11.279
the fittest person in your group, you're in the
00:29:11.279 --> 00:29:13.539
wrong group. If you've got the most wealth in
00:29:13.539 --> 00:29:16.420
your group, you're in the wrong group. Your ego
00:29:16.420 --> 00:29:19.200
will hate being the dumbest person in the room,
00:29:19.519 --> 00:29:21.980
but your bank balance will love it. Because there's
00:29:21.980 --> 00:29:23.980
no growth if you're the smartest person in the
00:29:23.980 --> 00:29:26.599
room, where the growth is, is by spending time
00:29:26.599 --> 00:29:29.660
with people that are better than you. Case in
00:29:29.660 --> 00:29:31.920
point, you've all heard of Usain Bolt this night,
00:29:32.480 --> 00:29:34.819
the runner, right? Fall into this, I watched
00:29:34.819 --> 00:29:37.420
a documentary on him recently, he's 14 years
00:29:37.420 --> 00:29:40.319
old, it's not that old, he was. And he was the
00:29:40.319 --> 00:29:43.819
fastest 14 -year -old in Jamaica. So he's fast,
00:29:43.819 --> 00:29:46.890
right? And his trainer gets him a lane to go
00:29:46.890 --> 00:29:50.230
to the Olympic stadium in Kingston to race against
00:29:50.230 --> 00:29:53.230
the men that were getting ready for the next
00:29:53.230 --> 00:29:57.589
Olympics. Look to this, little Usain, lane 8,
00:29:57.809 --> 00:30:00.089
and all these drogue men ready for the next Olympics.
00:30:00.490 --> 00:30:02.609
The crowd goes wild. Usain's running as fast
00:30:02.609 --> 00:30:05.349
as he can, runs through the finish line, dead
00:30:05.349 --> 00:30:12.109
last. Gets back on the bus. Gets in the minivan,
00:30:12.450 --> 00:30:15.920
sits in the back of the minivan. Salking. Why's
00:30:15.920 --> 00:30:19.359
he salking, Tim? Because he can't last, because
00:30:19.359 --> 00:30:23.000
he's used to winning. His trainer turns around,
00:30:23.680 --> 00:30:26.779
in the front of the minima, looks at him, and
00:30:26.779 --> 00:30:28.180
I'm not going to use the trainer's accent because
00:30:28.180 --> 00:30:29.740
my grandmother from Jamaica will tell you he's
00:30:29.740 --> 00:30:32.960
great. His trainer turns around and looks at
00:30:32.960 --> 00:30:35.480
him and says, you say, that's why we need to
00:30:35.480 --> 00:30:38.440
start racing against boys now, and start racing
00:30:38.440 --> 00:30:45.279
against men. The rest is history, right? Who
00:30:45.279 --> 00:30:47.559
you spend time with is who you become. Every
00:30:47.559 --> 00:30:49.259
single one of you needs to spend more time with
00:30:49.259 --> 00:30:51.380
people like you, and you need to spend more time
00:30:51.380 --> 00:30:53.420
with people that are more successful than you,
00:30:53.680 --> 00:30:55.259
because that's how you move to the next level.
00:30:55.599 --> 00:30:57.460
You've never been there before. You need people
00:30:57.460 --> 00:31:01.299
to pull you up. It's easier that way. A great
00:31:01.299 --> 00:31:03.519
example of this from me in my life, aside from
00:31:03.519 --> 00:31:05.039
the two examples I've given you, Coach Chris
00:31:05.039 --> 00:31:07.900
and Coach Andy, is Adam Stuck. Raise your hand
00:31:07.900 --> 00:31:09.779
if you've heard of Adam Stuck, by the way. Okay,
00:31:09.819 --> 00:31:12.839
so Adam is the founder of Big Business Entrepreneurs.
00:31:13.279 --> 00:31:16.559
Adam was on Rich House, Paul House. Adam was
00:31:16.559 --> 00:31:18.319
at Nega Run with Richard Branson a few weeks
00:31:18.319 --> 00:31:21.380
ago. Adam shared the stage with Al Pacino, John
00:31:21.380 --> 00:31:25.220
Travolta, Floyd Mayweather, Randy Zuckerberg,
00:31:25.240 --> 00:31:28.160
you made him, right? Incredible entrepreneur.
00:31:28.640 --> 00:31:32.119
After initially being annoyed by the fact that
00:31:32.119 --> 00:31:34.740
Adam's the same age as me and considerably more
00:31:34.740 --> 00:31:38.019
successful, after getting over myself about that,
00:31:38.649 --> 00:31:40.329
I've realised that if I spend more time with
00:31:40.329 --> 00:31:42.109
people like Adam, that's probably going to have
00:31:42.109 --> 00:31:43.789
a positive impact on me. You with me, yes or
00:31:43.789 --> 00:31:48.509
no? Yes. So anyway, it is my duty to shamelessly
00:31:48.509 --> 00:31:51.809
put Adam's book, Millionaire Success Secrets,
00:31:51.990 --> 00:31:54.230
right, which is on Amazon, which you can get
00:31:54.230 --> 00:31:56.250
it, everything that Adam's, you know, Adam's
00:31:56.250 --> 00:31:58.369
brain is in this book. Highly recommend that
00:31:58.369 --> 00:31:59.650
you get it, it's on Amazon, it's really, really
00:31:59.650 --> 00:32:03.480
good. Now. Team, is it alright if I use the F
00:32:03.480 --> 00:32:11.220
word today? Yes. So, I wonder if you can turn
00:32:11.220 --> 00:32:14.559
around and face me at the back of the room. Based
00:32:14.559 --> 00:32:17.079
on everything that I've just said to you about
00:32:17.079 --> 00:32:20.839
judgment, free zone, good action, five second
00:32:20.839 --> 00:32:23.299
rule, follow your intuition when you tell you
00:32:23.299 --> 00:32:26.099
to do something, as I dangle this book out here
00:32:26.099 --> 00:32:28.420
now, what is your intuition telling you to do?
00:32:30.220 --> 00:32:32.140
So why are you not setting us to grub it?
00:00:00.999 --> 00:00:06.500
Hello, hello, hello. Welcome back, you guys.
00:00:06.919 --> 00:00:10.240
I hope you miss me. I miss you, family. I hope
00:00:10.240 --> 00:00:13.800
you guys week has been going great because the
00:00:13.800 --> 00:00:17.940
weekend is here. So lovely Saturday. I hope your
00:00:17.940 --> 00:00:21.199
Saturday is going good. You are back with me.
00:00:21.320 --> 00:00:23.820
I am back with you. Your favorite life coach,
00:00:24.079 --> 00:00:28.289
me, Cecile, is here. Shit, that's just like podcasts.
00:00:28.469 --> 00:00:31.589
We're back, people. Episode 87, I'm ready to
00:00:31.589 --> 00:00:35.969
get into it. I miss you all. I miss venting to
00:00:35.969 --> 00:00:39.609
you all. I miss being here on a daily, on a daily
00:00:39.609 --> 00:00:43.229
paces. I'm preparing to bring back the content,
00:00:43.609 --> 00:00:47.270
though. So, I miss you all because I'm ready
00:00:47.270 --> 00:00:50.990
to get back into the content part of these episodes,
00:00:51.369 --> 00:00:54.679
but... Have to be patient because I have to order
00:00:54.679 --> 00:00:58.619
things and the delivery is not the next day So
00:00:58.619 --> 00:01:03.399
I have to be patient Okay, but I had a good weekend
00:01:03.399 --> 00:01:07.760
you guys Your girl went to her first business
00:01:07.760 --> 00:01:12.540
Seminar out here in the UK. I'm so proud of myself
00:01:12.540 --> 00:01:15.519
I'm proud of myself for getting up early and
00:01:15.519 --> 00:01:21.700
going making it on time Enjoying the people now
00:01:22.159 --> 00:01:27.319
I loved everything they were saying, and it kind
00:01:27.319 --> 00:01:31.480
of resonated with what I'm doing, you know? It
00:01:31.480 --> 00:01:34.719
definitely let me know, it gave me confirmation
00:01:34.719 --> 00:01:37.920
that the things that I have in my planning journal,
00:01:38.480 --> 00:01:41.040
I'm on the right track. That's what it let me
00:01:41.040 --> 00:01:47.120
know. It also let me know that that business
00:01:47.120 --> 00:01:51.680
expo, Those people were about to charge $3 ,600
00:01:51.680 --> 00:01:57.379
just to follow the same plan that I have in my
00:01:57.379 --> 00:02:00.180
journal. So it's good that I went out there,
00:02:00.180 --> 00:02:03.120
and it's good that I was able to mingle next
00:02:03.120 --> 00:02:05.239
time I will be staying longer, because I should
00:02:05.239 --> 00:02:07.859
have stayed longer. My boyfriend beat me up about
00:02:07.859 --> 00:02:09.699
that. He was like, you should have stayed until
00:02:09.699 --> 00:02:13.159
the whole thing is over. He's right. But a part
00:02:13.159 --> 00:02:15.400
of me was just feeling like it's time to go.
00:02:15.599 --> 00:02:19.639
So I left. I left pretty early, but I also stayed
00:02:19.639 --> 00:02:24.340
long enough. Like if you ask me 9 to noon, that's
00:02:24.340 --> 00:02:26.819
pretty long because the seminar was literally
00:02:26.819 --> 00:02:30.800
from 9 to 5. That's literally a 8 hour shift
00:02:30.800 --> 00:02:33.780
and nobody's getting paid. I don't know if I
00:02:33.780 --> 00:02:38.159
can do that. So I enjoyed the seminar once I
00:02:38.159 --> 00:02:41.699
was able to conclude what the business really
00:02:41.699 --> 00:02:45.680
wanted from Us the civilians. I was like, okay,
00:02:45.800 --> 00:02:49.500
I love the business expo Love what you guys are
00:02:49.500 --> 00:02:51.939
trying to do in the uk, but I just don't have
00:02:51.939 --> 00:02:54.840
the 3600 to hand out to you right here right
00:02:54.840 --> 00:03:00.360
now I really don't But on the other note here,
00:03:00.360 --> 00:03:03.860
um, your girl is back in the gym I'm back on
00:03:03.860 --> 00:03:06.219
my health is wealth journey. I never left it,
00:03:06.319 --> 00:03:09.479
but now I'm taking it more I'm cranking it up.
00:03:09.479 --> 00:03:12.639
I'm taking it on a higher level. I'm doing my
00:03:12.639 --> 00:03:16.979
app workouts like crazy Leg workouts. I'm gonna
00:03:16.979 --> 00:03:19.900
have apps this summer. That's not a question.
00:03:20.120 --> 00:03:22.939
I'm gonna have my app showing all my content
00:03:22.939 --> 00:03:27.520
No, but I'm gonna have apps. I'm I'm aiming to
00:03:27.520 --> 00:03:30.780
have a nice Six pack. I don't know. I don't know
00:03:30.780 --> 00:03:33.180
what kind of pack is gonna be but I'm ready for
00:03:33.180 --> 00:03:37.379
my body to be banging. Once again, the gym progress,
00:03:37.580 --> 00:03:40.020
the fitness progress, the journey, I am looking
00:03:40.020 --> 00:03:43.259
well. I'm looking very, very good. I can do not,
00:03:43.400 --> 00:03:46.120
but I'm going to keep going. That's what I tell
00:03:46.120 --> 00:03:50.780
myself. I'm determined to keep going. OK. I don't
00:03:50.780 --> 00:03:56.060
know if you all have been turning on your Netflix
00:03:56.060 --> 00:03:59.099
channel and I'm just switching topics here. I'm
00:03:59.099 --> 00:04:03.520
sorry, but I'm switching topics. Netflix has
00:04:03.520 --> 00:04:06.500
almost everything now. They have the documentaries.
00:04:07.500 --> 00:04:11.419
They have the podcasts. They're two seconds from
00:04:11.419 --> 00:04:15.280
having porn on their show. Netflix is providing
00:04:15.280 --> 00:04:19.939
it all. I'm not mad at Netflix. As much as I
00:04:19.939 --> 00:04:23.199
am on the side of saying not one person should
00:04:23.199 --> 00:04:27.759
have power to everything, I'm not upset about
00:04:27.759 --> 00:04:31.160
Netflix having access to everything. Now there
00:04:31.160 --> 00:04:34.540
are pros and cons because I have family members
00:04:34.540 --> 00:04:39.720
that are young that may have access to you know
00:04:39.720 --> 00:04:42.579
Netflix and if we all have the same account all
00:04:42.579 --> 00:04:45.920
it takes is for you to go on to Switch users,
00:04:46.319 --> 00:04:48.839
you know what I'm saying? If you switch users
00:04:48.839 --> 00:04:50.860
now, they like watching when I was just watching
00:04:50.860 --> 00:04:54.759
That's that's the con in all of this. That's
00:04:54.759 --> 00:04:58.600
what I'm I'm not okay with that's the thing they
00:04:58.600 --> 00:05:02.629
need to be able to get something separate for
00:05:02.629 --> 00:05:05.170
the children. Because if that's the case, if
00:05:05.170 --> 00:05:07.670
Netflix is going to have everything, this needs
00:05:07.670 --> 00:05:11.350
to be PG. Like, if they're going to have everything,
00:05:12.589 --> 00:05:18.730
this can't be PG. These people, they better have
00:05:18.730 --> 00:05:21.089
some type of lock on this so these children are
00:05:21.089 --> 00:05:24.110
not out here taking the next step and watching
00:05:24.110 --> 00:05:26.790
Netflix, watching everything on Netflix like
00:05:26.790 --> 00:05:29.589
the adults are. I'm going to hope. there's a
00:05:29.589 --> 00:05:31.870
safety plan for the children. That's all I'm
00:05:31.870 --> 00:05:36.930
just going to say, you guys. But, you all, I
00:05:36.930 --> 00:05:41.110
do have a topic I want to talk about. I'm going
00:05:41.110 --> 00:05:43.970
to switch it up and get right into it. Okay?
00:05:45.129 --> 00:05:49.230
Okay. Now, the next topic I would like to talk
00:05:49.230 --> 00:05:53.709
about is Mrs. Baku Abbey. I think that's how
00:05:53.709 --> 00:05:57.910
you say her name. Basically, that is R. Kelly's
00:05:57.910 --> 00:06:01.160
daughter. She shares how she coped while her
00:06:01.160 --> 00:06:05.480
family faced public controversy. And I'm going
00:06:05.480 --> 00:06:08.740
to let you guys hear the audio clip that she
00:06:08.740 --> 00:06:12.139
speaks on and she was on Reginae Carter's podcast.
00:06:12.160 --> 00:06:14.079
So I'll let you guys hear the audio clip. And
00:06:14.079 --> 00:06:16.879
of course, yes, you will hear my personal opinion
00:06:16.879 --> 00:06:20.240
after we hear the audio clip. So stay near your
00:06:20.240 --> 00:06:23.360
seats. Don't go anywhere and just listen closely.
00:06:23.720 --> 00:06:27.300
Okay. All right. The audio clip is playing now.
00:06:29.430 --> 00:06:31.889
Well, one, I'm going to get a camera when I say
00:06:31.889 --> 00:06:37.310
this. Please don't. I love my father, OK? It's
00:06:37.310 --> 00:06:41.569
a big misconception that there is hate or animosity
00:06:41.569 --> 00:06:43.709
towards him. It's none of that. At the end of
00:06:43.709 --> 00:06:45.470
the day, I went through what I went through.
00:06:45.709 --> 00:06:47.410
My family went through what they went through.
00:06:47.410 --> 00:06:49.850
And I'm going to hold people accountable. However,
00:06:50.089 --> 00:06:52.930
that does not reflect how I feel about that man.
00:06:53.490 --> 00:06:56.970
I love my dad. support him as the artist that
00:06:56.970 --> 00:07:00.230
he is, but as a human being, you have a responsibility
00:07:00.230 --> 00:07:03.750
to uphold, and that's that. Your family was tied
00:07:03.750 --> 00:07:05.550
to this controversy. I just want to know, how
00:07:05.550 --> 00:07:09.550
was your mental? Like, what did you do to...
00:07:11.620 --> 00:07:14.839
yourself yeah I think I'm honestly I'm still
00:07:14.839 --> 00:07:18.560
learning I'm learning different coping mechanisms
00:07:18.560 --> 00:07:20.699
and like what is actually the healthiest for
00:07:20.699 --> 00:07:23.339
me I think is no secret at all that I've definitely
00:07:23.339 --> 00:07:26.009
struggled with like mental health substance abuse
00:07:26.009 --> 00:07:28.449
now to be clear we're not talking hard drugs
00:07:28.449 --> 00:07:31.110
i'm talking weed and alcohol like let's start
00:07:31.110 --> 00:07:34.189
there but at the end of the day at certain points
00:07:34.189 --> 00:07:36.769
in my life that was definitely something i struggled
00:07:36.769 --> 00:07:39.889
with like for real though um and that was the
00:07:39.889 --> 00:07:42.189
way that i was coping through but i think more
00:07:42.189 --> 00:07:46.810
than anything i try my best to just keep my focus
00:07:46.810 --> 00:07:49.069
on god like i don't know what your spiritual
00:07:49.069 --> 00:07:52.870
beliefs are but i 100 believe in the lord okay
00:07:55.129 --> 00:07:58.449
okay so you guys heard it you guys heard the
00:07:58.449 --> 00:08:02.930
audio clip so now from my own personal review
00:08:02.930 --> 00:08:07.949
here i can say i do agree that there are multiple
00:08:07.949 --> 00:08:13.829
ways of coping multiple coping mechanisms i do
00:08:13.829 --> 00:08:16.990
think sometimes we just got to explore different
00:08:16.990 --> 00:08:19.329
ones because what works for one person doesn't
00:08:19.329 --> 00:08:22.029
work for the next I'm glad that she's taking
00:08:22.029 --> 00:08:26.149
her mental health serious, especially considering
00:08:26.149 --> 00:08:32.710
that her family was at the forefront and first
00:08:32.710 --> 00:08:36.710
page. All her business was out there. So I can
00:08:36.710 --> 00:08:39.730
only imagine what that did to her mental. So
00:08:39.730 --> 00:08:43.190
I'm glad that she's focusing on that. And that
00:08:43.190 --> 00:08:46.350
is something that we all need to do, especially
00:08:46.350 --> 00:08:51.179
not just. celebrities and artists and celebrities'
00:08:51.360 --> 00:08:55.620
children. No, anyone that finds themselves in
00:08:55.620 --> 00:08:58.419
a pickle or their family is going through rough
00:08:58.419 --> 00:09:00.980
patches and it starts to affect their mental.
00:09:01.580 --> 00:09:05.899
Take a break. Go through the different steps.
00:09:06.080 --> 00:09:09.379
Try different methodisms that will help your
00:09:09.379 --> 00:09:12.620
brain and help your mental stay intact. Don't
00:09:12.620 --> 00:09:17.019
be afraid to try different stuff because And
00:09:17.019 --> 00:09:19.860
that doesn't always mean drugs, baby. Okay. You
00:09:19.860 --> 00:09:23.700
can try drawing, going out for walks, reading.
00:09:24.539 --> 00:09:27.440
It's always multiple healthy ways. Getting out
00:09:27.440 --> 00:09:30.740
there, being more proactive is just always healthy
00:09:30.740 --> 00:09:33.740
ways to get out there and try to really keep
00:09:33.740 --> 00:09:37.220
that mental intact, especially if you want a
00:09:37.220 --> 00:09:39.500
loved one to one that's nearly very close to
00:09:39.500 --> 00:09:41.960
your heart is going through things. I know that
00:09:41.960 --> 00:09:46.720
that can affect one person. I know from First
00:09:46.720 --> 00:09:50.960
hand experience. Okay, but my family starts to
00:09:50.960 --> 00:09:52.580
go through things and then they start to call
00:09:52.580 --> 00:09:56.159
me Maybe I start to stress but I don't stress
00:09:56.159 --> 00:09:59.379
too hard because then I always tell myself do
00:09:59.379 --> 00:10:01.820
not stress over things You cannot control so
00:10:01.820 --> 00:10:04.080
anything I can't control I don't stress over
00:10:04.080 --> 00:10:07.600
but I will still a prayer I will send whatever
00:10:07.600 --> 00:10:11.539
help I can but Over stretching over stretching
00:10:11.539 --> 00:10:16.919
myself out over overthinking overdoing anything
00:10:16.919 --> 00:10:22.019
I Try not to overdo it. No not anymore. I used
00:10:22.019 --> 00:10:25.460
to go full -blown fledge out nowadays I'm like
00:10:25.460 --> 00:10:29.580
dope protect my peace. I'll send a prayer I'll
00:10:29.580 --> 00:10:35.259
send you multiple Suggestions and advice in different
00:10:35.259 --> 00:10:39.179
different avenues towards making your mental
00:10:39.179 --> 00:10:42.039
health better I'll send you a lot of suggestions.
00:10:42.039 --> 00:10:45.990
Hey girl. Try this go here Hey, have you ever
00:10:45.990 --> 00:10:48.970
done this? Would you be ever be willing to try
00:10:48.970 --> 00:10:51.950
something like this? I will switch it up, but
00:10:51.950 --> 00:10:55.210
that's just my personal view. Okay I'm glad you
00:10:55.210 --> 00:10:58.750

00:11:04.470 --> 00:11:06.509
on out there in the world And I'm glad you were
00:11:06.509 --> 00:11:09.049
able to listen to my personal opinion. All right.
00:11:09.049 --> 00:11:12.730
Thank you for tuning in every day on that note
00:11:13.389 --> 00:11:17.909
I will leave you guys with the business expo
00:11:17.909 --> 00:11:22.070
audio that I did go to. Like I said, when I went,
00:11:22.929 --> 00:11:25.149
they were saying some very good things. They
00:11:25.149 --> 00:11:27.490
were saying things people need to hear. You might
00:11:27.490 --> 00:11:29.429
even hear some things that you heard before,
00:11:29.870 --> 00:11:33.289
but make sure you listen through the whole pod.
00:11:33.990 --> 00:11:36.169
This is things we need to hear as entrepreneurs,
00:11:36.529 --> 00:11:39.769
as young people that are trying to get out there
00:11:39.769 --> 00:11:41.730
into the world and take our business to a whole
00:11:41.730 --> 00:11:44.049
nother level. These are the talks that we should
00:11:44.049 --> 00:11:46.629
be having. So I'll let you guys hear the audio
00:11:46.629 --> 00:11:49.950
clip. Like I stated, this was episode 87. Thank
00:11:49.950 --> 00:11:54.509
you for tuning in every day. Of course, before
00:11:54.509 --> 00:11:57.850
I leave out with the audio clip, I'm going to
00:11:57.850 --> 00:12:00.129
leave you with a piece of advice because what
00:12:00.129 --> 00:12:02.769
kind of life coach would I be if I didn't leave
00:12:02.769 --> 00:12:06.450
you with a piece of advice? OK, so with that
00:12:06.450 --> 00:12:09.570
being said, my good people, piece of advice.
00:12:10.610 --> 00:12:13.970
Consistency wins because it's not what you do
00:12:13.970 --> 00:12:16.370
once in a while that matters. It's what you do
00:12:16.370 --> 00:12:20.990
every day. And on that note, stay close, keep
00:12:20.990 --> 00:12:25.769
your ears to the speakers, keep on the podcast
00:12:25.769 --> 00:12:29.409
because the audio clip from the business expo
00:12:29.409 --> 00:12:33.070
is starting now. Thank you for tuning in. Success
00:12:33.070 --> 00:12:35.649
without fulfillment is the ultimate failure.
00:12:36.659 --> 00:12:39.419
By the way, said with love, no judgment, if you're
00:12:39.419 --> 00:12:42.500
not taking notes, you will retain three times
00:12:42.500 --> 00:12:45.259
more information and you will be five times more
00:12:45.259 --> 00:12:48.100
likely to take action on the information provided
00:12:48.100 --> 00:12:51.399
if you make notes. It's not for me, you know,
00:12:51.480 --> 00:12:53.500
it's not school, you don't have to do, but I'm
00:12:53.500 --> 00:12:56.179
telling you, if you want to retain this information,
00:12:56.539 --> 00:12:58.460
I highly recommend that you make notes. Not for
00:12:58.460 --> 00:13:00.000
me, I'm going to change my life, but it will
00:13:00.000 --> 00:13:02.539
change yours. Now let me explain the quote. Let
00:13:02.539 --> 00:13:05.830
me ask you this. If you master social media and
00:13:05.830 --> 00:13:08.309
you get loads of leads, more than you can ever
00:13:08.309 --> 00:13:10.830
possibly imagine, you're like, oh my god, we've
00:13:10.830 --> 00:13:13.289
got more leads than we've ever had. But those
00:13:13.289 --> 00:13:17.129
leads don't translate into sales. Is that real
00:13:17.129 --> 00:13:20.409
success? Yes or no, team? Participate with me,
00:13:20.450 --> 00:13:23.850
team. Yes or no? Let's imagine that you get loads
00:13:23.850 --> 00:13:25.769
of leads and you turn them into sales and you
00:13:25.769 --> 00:13:28.190
turn them into revenue. The seasoned entrepreneurs
00:13:28.190 --> 00:13:30.730
that know the answer to this. That revenue does
00:13:30.730 --> 00:13:33.259
not translate into profit. Is that real success?
00:13:33.419 --> 00:13:37.500
Yes or no? Revenue is vanity. Profit is sanity.
00:13:38.259 --> 00:13:40.759
Let's imagine that you get revenue into profit.
00:13:41.120 --> 00:13:43.220
You're now number one in your industry in space.
00:13:43.539 --> 00:13:45.899
You're now award -winning. You're now the top
00:13:45.899 --> 00:13:49.200
dog, the guru in your industry. And now the people
00:13:49.200 --> 00:13:51.240
that you love complain they don't see you anymore.
00:13:53.419 --> 00:13:55.960
Is that real success? Yes or no team? No. Yes
00:13:55.960 --> 00:14:02.259
or no team? No. Trust me, it's not. or you're
00:14:02.259 --> 00:14:05.120
crushing it in business and now your doctor tells
00:14:05.120 --> 00:14:07.240
you if you don't slow down a little bit, you
00:14:07.240 --> 00:14:10.519
might have a stroke or a heart attack. Is that
00:14:10.519 --> 00:14:13.639
real success? It's mercy. So what that means
00:14:13.639 --> 00:14:16.059
to you is success without fulfillment is your
00:14:16.059 --> 00:14:17.899
ultimate failure. You need to be really clear.
00:14:18.139 --> 00:14:20.700
Social media is not why you're here. You're here
00:14:20.700 --> 00:14:23.059
for what it can do for you. Be really clear about
00:14:23.059 --> 00:14:25.360
that. The reason I'm going so hard on that straight
00:14:25.360 --> 00:14:27.980
out of the game is because a mentor did this
00:14:27.980 --> 00:14:31.019
on me once. He said, what are you really here?
00:14:31.139 --> 00:14:32.860
And I just gave him the honor of learning a bit
00:14:32.860 --> 00:14:34.799
of that story. He was like, no. And because we
00:14:34.799 --> 00:14:36.500
had a rapport and a relationship, I was willing
00:14:36.500 --> 00:14:39.019
to tell him the real answer. I said, well, if
00:14:39.019 --> 00:14:41.399
you want the real answer, I said, it goes back
00:14:41.399 --> 00:14:44.799
to my childhood. I've already told you. Raised
00:14:44.799 --> 00:14:46.940
on a council estate in Birmingham. Raised by
00:14:46.940 --> 00:14:49.460
my mum, single parent. My mother and dad broke
00:14:49.460 --> 00:14:52.240
up and got a rapport. My mum and I, any given
00:14:52.240 --> 00:14:54.620
time, went through jobs. My mum didn't get to
00:14:54.620 --> 00:14:57.100
come to school, plays. Didn't watch me play football
00:14:57.100 --> 00:15:01.379
or was working. Naively as a kid, I assumed if
00:15:01.379 --> 00:15:03.879
your mom's got three jobs, financially, you're
00:15:03.879 --> 00:15:06.159
probably doing alright. Anybody that's had an
00:15:06.159 --> 00:15:07.940
upbringing like that knows that's obviously not
00:15:07.940 --> 00:15:10.580
the case. We probably ran out of pay -as -you
00:15:10.580 --> 00:15:12.759
-go electric tokens at least once a week. We
00:15:12.759 --> 00:15:15.539
were broke. So as a kid growing up, I made a
00:15:15.539 --> 00:15:17.940
decision. I said, when I grow up, so I don't
00:15:17.940 --> 00:15:20.000
grow up, yeah, you don't grow up. I said, when
00:15:20.000 --> 00:15:22.139
I grow up, I want to make sure I have two things.
00:15:22.460 --> 00:15:25.539
One, financial freedom. And the second one more
00:15:25.539 --> 00:15:28.120
important than that, time freedom. Here's why.
00:15:28.850 --> 00:15:31.750
You can't always make more money, T, but you
00:15:31.750 --> 00:15:36.190
can't make more time. Anybody in the room that's
00:15:36.190 --> 00:15:38.029
lost a loved one knows the thing or two about
00:15:38.029 --> 00:15:43.149
that. So know this thing, you're not here on
00:15:43.149 --> 00:15:45.649
social media, you're here for what it can do
00:15:45.649 --> 00:15:51.049
for you. Be really clear about that. Second point,
00:15:51.710 --> 00:15:54.129
once we know what it is that we want, next thing
00:15:54.129 --> 00:15:57.110
we've got to do, is we've actually got to get...
00:15:57.450 --> 00:16:00.690
The right knowledge, the right skills, the right
00:16:00.690 --> 00:16:03.049
resources to get us to where we want to get to.
00:16:03.629 --> 00:16:05.769
This is where we now need to know what is the
00:16:05.769 --> 00:16:08.129
right marketing, because really social media
00:16:08.129 --> 00:16:11.009
is marketing. What is the right marketing to
00:16:11.009 --> 00:16:15.789
you fellows? Oh you didn't hear that, okay sorry.
00:16:16.110 --> 00:16:18.429
Got me carried away there. You need to know the
00:16:18.429 --> 00:16:21.110
right marketing to get to your outcome. We call
00:16:21.110 --> 00:16:24.610
this the marketing recipe, let me explain. Isn't
00:16:24.610 --> 00:16:28.230
it true, team, that all the recipe is is ingredients
00:16:28.230 --> 00:16:30.269
and an order and sequence in which to mix those
00:16:30.269 --> 00:16:32.929
ingredients. That's nice. If you mix the ingredients
00:16:32.929 --> 00:16:34.509
in the right order, you get the right result.
00:16:35.289 --> 00:16:37.129
If you mix the ingredients in the wrong order,
00:16:37.129 --> 00:16:38.909
you get my wife's banana bread, and that's the
00:16:38.909 --> 00:16:41.789
story for another day. That joke just fell in
00:16:41.789 --> 00:16:47.529
my head. Here's the thing, team. When it comes
00:16:47.529 --> 00:16:50.070
to social media, it's like a recipe. Right now,
00:16:50.070 --> 00:16:51.710
you know what you know, you know what you don't
00:16:51.710 --> 00:16:53.370
know, but you don't know what you don't know.
00:16:53.990 --> 00:16:55.529
There's a mouthful for you on a Friday morning.
00:16:55.730 --> 00:16:58.269
Let me explain what I mean. Participate, we'll
00:16:58.269 --> 00:17:01.230
be honest to you. When you learn to drive, those
00:17:01.230 --> 00:17:02.710
of you that don't drive will still get the point.
00:17:03.389 --> 00:17:05.490
When you learn to drive, do you have to get an
00:17:05.490 --> 00:17:07.670
instructor to teach you? Yes or no? Yes. Who
00:17:07.670 --> 00:17:14.670
said no? Make them around your streets. Get in
00:17:14.670 --> 00:17:18.789
the train. When you learn social media, do you
00:17:18.789 --> 00:17:21.410
have to get an instructor to teach you? Yes or
00:17:21.410 --> 00:17:25.109
no? Yes. No. No. The answer's no. Thank you for
00:17:25.109 --> 00:17:27.849
those of you that said yes. I know he wants us
00:17:27.849 --> 00:17:31.289
to say yes. No. The answer is no. You don't have
00:17:31.289 --> 00:17:33.750
to be an instructor. You can figure it out for
00:17:33.750 --> 00:17:36.470
yourself. And that's why many of you in this
00:17:36.470 --> 00:17:39.309
room may be having to figure it out here. Because
00:17:39.309 --> 00:17:41.950
you've been trying to do it for yourself. Trying
00:17:41.950 --> 00:17:44.049
to figure everything out for yourself. And why
00:17:44.049 --> 00:17:46.569
would you get an instructor when you don't have
00:17:46.569 --> 00:17:49.430
to? Of course. Of course you would try and figure
00:17:49.430 --> 00:17:52.329
it out for yourself. And just so you know, trying
00:17:52.329 --> 00:17:54.410
to figure it out for myself, that used to be
00:17:54.410 --> 00:17:58.140
me. Posting, posting, posting, posting, getting
00:17:58.140 --> 00:18:02.039
nowhere fast. Then I went to an event similar
00:18:02.039 --> 00:18:04.059
to this. In Birmingham, there was a guy on stage
00:18:04.059 --> 00:18:06.420
that day, a social media event. His name was
00:18:06.420 --> 00:18:08.960
Chris Black. I now call him Coach Chris. We're
00:18:08.960 --> 00:18:11.500
good friends now. And Coach Chris was talking
00:18:11.500 --> 00:18:14.259
about the power of social media. And he was saying,
00:18:14.680 --> 00:18:16.220
stop doing this, do more of this, and you'll
00:18:16.220 --> 00:18:18.599
be successful. And there was an opportunity that
00:18:18.599 --> 00:18:21.619
day to invest in coaching with Coach Chris at
00:18:21.619 --> 00:18:23.990
the end of that event. There was an opportunity
00:18:23.990 --> 00:18:26.410
that day to go to the back of the room and invest
00:18:26.410 --> 00:18:28.829
in Coach Chris's social media training. Of course
00:18:28.829 --> 00:18:31.190
there was. I wasn't naive enough to think there
00:18:31.190 --> 00:18:33.190
wouldn't be that opportunity. It was a bloody
00:18:33.190 --> 00:18:35.630
free event. So I had a decision to make that
00:18:35.630 --> 00:18:37.910
day. Do I keep trying to figure everything out
00:18:37.910 --> 00:18:40.670
for myself? Or do I take the help and support
00:18:40.670 --> 00:18:42.369
that's being offered? Do you want to know what
00:18:42.369 --> 00:18:45.410
my first response was? First response was this.
00:18:45.930 --> 00:18:49.490
I'm not doing it. Let me tell you why that was
00:18:49.490 --> 00:18:52.210
my first response. It goes back to my childhood.
00:18:52.990 --> 00:18:56.710
My mum's advice to me as a kid, Miles, don't
00:18:56.710 --> 00:19:00.390
rely on other people because your dad left. Figure
00:19:00.390 --> 00:19:04.289
everything out for yourself. Good advice, because
00:19:04.289 --> 00:19:07.130
it makes me very independent, but it also makes
00:19:07.130 --> 00:19:10.369
me very guided to help and support. Just so you
00:19:10.369 --> 00:19:13.869
know, team, not everybody's out to get you. Just
00:19:13.869 --> 00:19:17.190
so you know. So after checking with my intuition,
00:19:17.390 --> 00:19:19.319
that's the same way to my next point. I went
00:19:19.319 --> 00:19:21.460
to the back of the room that day. I enrolled
00:19:21.460 --> 00:19:23.960
in Coach Chris's social media training. A thousand
00:19:23.960 --> 00:19:27.539
pound investment that day turned into £464 ,000
00:19:27.539 --> 00:19:31.319
in 18 months. Good decision, yes or no team?
00:19:31.920 --> 00:19:33.940
Yes. Yes or no team? Yes. Yes or no team? Yes.
00:19:33.940 --> 00:19:34.500
Yes or no team? Yes. Yes or no team? Yes. Yes
00:19:34.500 --> 00:19:34.500
or no team? Yes. Yes or no team? Yes. Yes or
00:19:34.500 --> 00:19:34.500
no team? Yes. Yes or no team? Yes. Yes or no
00:19:34.500 --> 00:19:34.539
team? Yes. Yes or no team? Yes. Yes or no team?
00:19:34.559 --> 00:19:34.559
Yes. Yes or no team? Yes. Yes or no team? Yes.
00:19:34.559 --> 00:19:34.559
Yes or no team? Yes. Yes or no team? Yes. Yes
00:19:34.559 --> 00:19:34.559
or no team? Yes. Yes or no team? Yes. Yes or
00:19:34.559 --> 00:19:34.579
no team? Yes or no team? Yes. Yes or no team?
00:19:34.579 --> 00:19:34.640
Yes. Yes or no team? Yes or no team? Yes or no
00:19:34.640 --> 00:19:35.880
team? Yes. Yes or no team? Yes or no team? Yes.
00:19:35.960 --> 00:19:37.680
Yes or no team? Yes or no team We're going to
00:19:37.680 --> 00:19:39.279
be your instructors here today. We're going to
00:19:39.279 --> 00:19:41.059
teach you when to accelerate, when to break,
00:19:41.119 --> 00:19:43.059
and everything in between in accordance with
00:19:43.059 --> 00:19:45.119
social media. Would it help you if we were your
00:19:45.119 --> 00:19:47.720
instructors today? Yes or no, team? Yes! And
00:19:47.720 --> 00:19:49.539
that's what we're going to do here today. Next
00:19:49.539 --> 00:19:53.400
point. Next point. Let's assume then that we
00:19:53.400 --> 00:19:55.880
know what it is we want. Let's assume then that
00:19:55.880 --> 00:19:58.599
we now know that there is a specific marketing
00:19:58.599 --> 00:20:01.140
recipe that we need to follow. If we don't do
00:20:01.140 --> 00:20:03.299
this next thing, we are still not going to get
00:20:03.299 --> 00:20:05.400
to where we want to get to. So the next thing,
00:20:05.460 --> 00:20:08.059
the most obvious thing of them all, is we have
00:20:08.059 --> 00:20:10.599
to take action. But not any other action team.
00:20:10.839 --> 00:20:13.519
We've got to take what I call good action. Let
00:20:13.519 --> 00:20:16.440
me explain what I mean. Every single one of you
00:20:16.440 --> 00:20:19.099
in this room has an intuition, an instinct that's
00:20:19.099 --> 00:20:23.319
telling you what to do and what not to do. Here's
00:20:23.319 --> 00:20:25.990
the challenge. Rookie entrepreneurs hear the
00:20:25.990 --> 00:20:29.529
intuition, but they don't always follow it. Here's
00:20:29.529 --> 00:20:33.130
why. Because the brain is more powerful than
00:20:33.130 --> 00:20:36.750
the intuition. Here's the problem, though. The
00:20:36.750 --> 00:20:39.250
brain doesn't know the difference between rational
00:20:39.250 --> 00:20:43.289
fear and irrational fear. Let me explain. Rational
00:20:43.289 --> 00:20:46.369
fear. Participate in the honesty. You're in a
00:20:46.369 --> 00:20:49.769
zoo, and hear a zookeeper shout over your shoulder.
00:21:00.529 --> 00:21:03.049
Here's another option. You're in the middle of
00:21:03.049 --> 00:21:05.609
Middlesbrough and your intuition is telling you
00:21:05.609 --> 00:21:08.970
to go live on Facebook and you don't because
00:21:08.970 --> 00:21:11.269
there's people around and you get a little bit
00:21:11.269 --> 00:21:15.089
scared. Do you understand that that is irrational
00:21:15.089 --> 00:21:17.890
fear and there's no actual line that can jump
00:21:17.890 --> 00:21:20.630
out and kill you? Yes or no team? Yes. Do you
00:21:20.630 --> 00:21:23.009
understand the difference? Here's the problem
00:21:23.009 --> 00:21:25.680
though. The brain doesn't know the difference.
00:21:26.579 --> 00:21:31.059
So how do we override that? That fear of failure,
00:21:31.279 --> 00:21:33.799
that fear of rejection, that fear of what all
00:21:33.799 --> 00:21:37.180
people think, how do we override it? Mel Robbins
00:21:37.180 --> 00:21:39.000
wrote a great book on this many years ago, it's
00:21:39.000 --> 00:21:41.480
called Five Seconds of War, if you haven't read
00:21:41.480 --> 00:21:44.400
it, I've just seen the book, Five Seconds. She
00:21:44.400 --> 00:21:47.700
basically said, the next time your intuition
00:21:47.700 --> 00:21:50.619
tells you to do something, you've got five seconds.
00:21:50.829 --> 00:21:53.150
to take action on your intuition telling you
00:21:53.150 --> 00:21:56.490
what to do. Because if you don't, you'll stay
00:21:56.490 --> 00:21:59.569
where you are. So the difference between a rookie
00:21:59.569 --> 00:22:01.890
entrepreneur and a successful entrepreneur is
00:22:01.890 --> 00:22:04.789
rookie entrepreneurs hear the intuition and don't
00:22:04.789 --> 00:22:08.289
act on it out of fear. Successful entrepreneurs
00:22:08.289 --> 00:22:11.589
hear the intuition and they know if their intuition
00:22:11.589 --> 00:22:15.009
is telling them to do it, they must do it. I
00:22:15.009 --> 00:22:16.910
guarantee every single one of you in this room
00:22:16.910 --> 00:22:20.759
has had the experience where your intuition has
00:22:20.759 --> 00:22:23.900
told you to do something, and you haven't done
00:22:23.900 --> 00:22:27.039
it, and made no reflection of this and regret
00:22:27.039 --> 00:22:29.579
that. Like a few years ago, it was happening
00:22:29.579 --> 00:22:31.779
in Las Vegas for a work thing, my wife calls
00:22:31.779 --> 00:22:35.440
it a holiday, it was a work thing. It was a bit
00:22:35.440 --> 00:22:38.720
of a holiday. The evening after the event, there
00:22:38.720 --> 00:22:44.559
was a drinks reception. So I went out. Now, there
00:22:44.559 --> 00:22:47.880
was a group of us. Half of the group had committed
00:22:47.880 --> 00:22:51.930
all in. Following all in, They're going, they've
00:22:51.930 --> 00:22:54.009
paid for it, and there's space that's still available
00:22:54.009 --> 00:22:57.849
since Skyline went to the Grand Canyon. Half
00:22:57.849 --> 00:22:59.809
the other group stayed up a little bit later
00:22:59.809 --> 00:23:03.589
to drink. That was me. I stayed out of the group.
00:23:04.609 --> 00:23:07.309
My larval didn't go off, and I missed the bus
00:23:07.309 --> 00:23:10.970
at dawn, 4am, to go to the Grand Canyon to Skyline.
00:23:11.710 --> 00:23:16.349
I now have some regret about that. I did the
00:23:16.349 --> 00:23:18.250
morning after because I missed that opportunity.
00:23:18.809 --> 00:23:21.470
Now I have since skydived. There was a report
00:23:21.470 --> 00:23:25.210
of us. No offence if you reported us, but it
00:23:25.210 --> 00:23:27.509
ain't the grand canyon, right? Do you get the
00:23:27.509 --> 00:23:30.450
point? Yes, I do. My intuition was telling me
00:23:30.450 --> 00:23:33.730
go to bed, Myles. This is a once in a lifetime,
00:23:33.910 --> 00:23:37.190
Myles. You've never skydived before, and here's
00:23:37.190 --> 00:23:39.769
your opportunity to do it in an amazing place.
00:23:40.369 --> 00:23:42.190
I missed the opportunity. You're all with me
00:23:42.190 --> 00:23:45.130
so far, isn't it? So here's what you've got to
00:23:45.130 --> 00:23:47.609
do. The next time your intuition tells you to
00:23:47.609 --> 00:23:49.750
do something, you've got to act on it. Now the
00:23:49.750 --> 00:23:53.349
good thing is, when you start to do it more often,
00:23:53.809 --> 00:23:57.049
your intuition grows like a muscle. So I was
00:23:57.049 --> 00:23:59.609
at an event a few years ago, similar to the event
00:23:59.609 --> 00:24:01.549
I spoke about with Coach Chris, but this time
00:24:01.549 --> 00:24:04.910
it's a big event in London, Earl's Court, 2 ,000
00:24:04.910 --> 00:24:07.690
people, called the National Achievers' Congress.
00:24:08.839 --> 00:24:11.980
And the headline speaker was Richard Branson.
00:24:12.740 --> 00:24:15.339
I was really excited, right? Big fan of Richard
00:24:15.339 --> 00:24:18.099
Branson. There was a guy speaking at the end
00:24:18.099 --> 00:24:21.839
of day one. His name was Coach Andy. Coach Andy
00:24:21.839 --> 00:24:23.960
was talking about when you learn how to speak,
00:24:24.059 --> 00:24:26.140
when you learn how to communicate better, you
00:24:26.140 --> 00:24:28.160
can help a lot more people and earn a lot more
00:24:28.160 --> 00:24:30.359
money and a lot less time. I was like, I like
00:24:30.359 --> 00:24:32.740
the sound of that. Here's why that was significant
00:24:32.740 --> 00:24:35.460
for me. Because you know the business I've just
00:24:35.460 --> 00:24:39.839
told you about, £1 ,000 in, £464 ,000 out? That
00:24:39.839 --> 00:24:42.319
business, a sales training business for gyms
00:24:42.319 --> 00:24:44.140
and health clubs, that's my background because
00:24:44.140 --> 00:24:46.759
my mom ran a gym or mentioned that, that business
00:24:46.759 --> 00:24:50.319
required me to travel all over the country three,
00:24:50.420 --> 00:24:53.180
four days a week to earn a day rate of £3 ,000
00:24:53.180 --> 00:24:57.299
a day. Wow, some of you, £3 ,000 a day, sounds
00:24:57.299 --> 00:25:00.119
good. Yeah, it was good financially, but it wasn't
00:25:00.119 --> 00:25:02.230
good from a time point of view. because I have
00:25:02.230 --> 00:25:03.970
to travel all over the country to earn those
00:25:03.970 --> 00:25:06.569
day rates. Are you guys with me? Yes or no? Yes.
00:25:06.589 --> 00:25:09.150
So what that means is, this is why I went so
00:25:09.150 --> 00:25:10.890
hard at the beginning of the day, is you can
00:25:10.890 --> 00:25:12.309
always make more money if you can't make more
00:25:12.309 --> 00:25:14.730
time. So if you think your goal is to make more
00:25:14.730 --> 00:25:16.809
money, you're wrong. Because if you make more
00:25:16.809 --> 00:25:18.529
money, you don't have the time that's irrelevant.
00:25:18.869 --> 00:25:20.690
If you can't spend time with the people you love.
00:25:20.950 --> 00:25:23.210
Are you guys with me? Yes or no? Yes. So Coach
00:25:23.210 --> 00:25:25.349
Andy's talking about this opportunity, and it's
00:25:25.349 --> 00:25:29.849
clearly teaching me how I could speak to more
00:25:29.849 --> 00:25:33.289
people in one go. and do more of what I do with
00:25:33.289 --> 00:25:35.650
my business, but have a lot more time to myself,
00:25:35.809 --> 00:25:37.490
and to my family, and to my wife and my children.
00:25:38.490 --> 00:25:40.309
I had the decision to make that then, because
00:25:40.309 --> 00:25:42.630
Coach Andy, at that National Achievers' Congress,
00:25:43.069 --> 00:25:45.710
obviously, bless you, obviously, there was an
00:25:45.710 --> 00:25:47.750
opportunity to go to the back of the room again,
00:25:47.930 --> 00:25:49.609
free of bed, wasn't naive enough to think there
00:25:49.609 --> 00:25:52.390
wouldn't be, to enroll in Coach Andy's presenting
00:25:52.390 --> 00:25:56.160
training. 3 ,000 pound investment. This time
00:25:56.160 --> 00:25:58.279
I listened to regulation straight away. Went
00:25:58.279 --> 00:26:01.059
to the bank, enrolled in his training. £3 ,000
00:26:01.059 --> 00:26:03.319
investment that day. That's turning to £2 million
00:26:03.319 --> 00:26:06.640
in sales so far. Was that a good investment?
00:26:06.839 --> 00:26:09.299
Was that a good decision? Yes, Murphy? Absolutely.
00:26:09.680 --> 00:26:12.019
That changed my freaking life. Not so much from
00:26:12.019 --> 00:26:14.279
a financial point of view, but more from a time
00:26:14.279 --> 00:26:17.740
point of view. It gave me time back. Here's what
00:26:17.740 --> 00:26:20.000
it also did. That's had a positive knock -on
00:26:20.000 --> 00:26:22.400
effect to my family in a way you can never possibly
00:26:22.400 --> 00:26:25.519
imagine. One of my children, Sage, is six years
00:26:25.519 --> 00:26:28.980
old. And Sage recently was at school, and her
00:26:28.980 --> 00:26:32.839
teacher, Mrs. O 'Kane, said to the class, children,
00:26:33.119 --> 00:26:34.980
I don't know why I'm doing a Victorian accent
00:26:34.980 --> 00:26:39.339
for Mrs. O 'Kane. Leave the acting alone, guys.
00:26:39.539 --> 00:26:41.980
Leave the acting alone. Children, who'd be willing
00:26:41.980 --> 00:26:43.859
to help them in the next part of the presentation?
00:26:44.680 --> 00:26:47.319
Now, I tell myself, Sage, you're up in five seconds,
00:26:47.380 --> 00:26:49.380
because it sounds fair as a story, because I've
00:26:49.380 --> 00:26:51.059
just told you the whole five -second rule thing,
00:26:51.200 --> 00:26:54.579
right? Anyway, Sage gets up, helps Mrs. O 'Kane
00:26:54.579 --> 00:26:57.000
with the presentation, does it, all the other
00:26:57.000 --> 00:26:59.779
kids give her a little, right, Sage sits back
00:26:59.779 --> 00:27:02.619
down, after school I pick her up, we scoot her
00:27:02.619 --> 00:27:05.180
in home, and I said to her, because Mrs. O 'Kane
00:27:05.180 --> 00:27:07.960
had told me what Sage did, Sage, how did you
00:27:07.960 --> 00:27:11.319
have the courage to get up and do that in front
00:27:11.319 --> 00:27:13.720
of the class? Honestly, proper improvisation,
00:27:13.839 --> 00:27:17.180
at last, what are you doing today? So here's
00:27:17.180 --> 00:27:18.599
the thing, if you're not going to fulfil your
00:27:18.599 --> 00:27:21.200
true potential for you, Do it for the people
00:27:21.200 --> 00:27:24.259
that you love. I want to give you a shortcut,
00:27:24.500 --> 00:27:27.259
T. Do you want a shortcut to just figure all
00:27:27.259 --> 00:27:29.380
this stuff out? So just tell me straight, yes
00:27:29.380 --> 00:27:34.319
or no? Yes! Look around this room just for a
00:27:34.319 --> 00:27:36.460
minute. Don't look at anybody too long, they
00:27:36.460 --> 00:27:39.880
can freak him out. Do you know what this room
00:27:39.880 --> 00:27:42.500
is? This room is what I call the judgment freezer.
00:27:43.099 --> 00:27:45.059
Let me explain what I mean. Out there in the
00:27:45.059 --> 00:27:48.009
global world, after Harry Potter... People out
00:27:48.009 --> 00:27:50.569
there may judge you for going for your dream.
00:27:51.130 --> 00:27:53.089
For going big, for dreaming big, for wanting
00:27:53.089 --> 00:27:55.630
to fulfill your true potential. Out there, people
00:27:55.630 --> 00:27:59.950
may judge you. Not in here. Because isn't it
00:27:59.950 --> 00:28:02.049
true, team, that every single one of you in this
00:28:02.049 --> 00:28:04.069
room, although you are independent, different
00:28:04.069 --> 00:28:06.089
and unique, you're all here because you want
00:28:06.089 --> 00:28:08.190
to take your life and all your business to the
00:28:08.190 --> 00:28:11.109
next level. Yes or no, team? Yes! Yes or no,
00:28:11.210 --> 00:28:14.670
team? Yes! So, here's number one. Number one
00:28:14.670 --> 00:28:17.380
is spend more time with people like you. Jim
00:28:17.380 --> 00:28:19.599
Roane has a saying for this, who you spend time
00:28:19.599 --> 00:28:22.980
with is who you become. Spend more time with
00:28:22.980 --> 00:28:26.839
people like you. Spend more time with people
00:28:26.839 --> 00:28:28.819
like you. People at the same level of ambition
00:28:28.819 --> 00:28:31.480
as you. Similar level of drive as you. Similar
00:28:31.480 --> 00:28:34.220
level of passion as you. Similar level of positivity
00:28:34.220 --> 00:28:36.480
as you. Because if you don't, you'll be dragged
00:28:36.480 --> 00:28:39.279
back by the people that don't. Jim Roane said
00:28:39.279 --> 00:28:41.319
it best, who you spend time with is who you become.
00:28:41.680 --> 00:28:43.839
Miles Grant said, if you spend time with five
00:28:43.839 --> 00:28:46.180
successful ambitious people, you'll be the sixth.
00:28:46.480 --> 00:28:48.660
If you spend time with five whiny negative people
00:28:48.660 --> 00:28:54.200
like idiots, you'll be the same. Thank you. Alright?
00:28:54.619 --> 00:28:56.140
So who do you spend time with as you become?
00:28:56.900 --> 00:28:59.779
Second point is you want to spend time with people
00:28:59.779 --> 00:29:02.099
that are more successful than you. Here's why
00:29:02.099 --> 00:29:05.019
this is important. If you're the smartest person
00:29:05.019 --> 00:29:08.819
in the room, you are in the wrong room. If you're
00:29:08.819 --> 00:29:11.279
the fittest person in your group, you're in the
00:29:11.279 --> 00:29:13.539
wrong group. If you've got the most wealth in
00:29:13.539 --> 00:29:16.420
your group, you're in the wrong group. Your ego
00:29:16.420 --> 00:29:19.200
will hate being the dumbest person in the room,
00:29:19.519 --> 00:29:21.980
but your bank balance will love it. Because there's
00:29:21.980 --> 00:29:23.980
no growth if you're the smartest person in the
00:29:23.980 --> 00:29:26.599
room, where the growth is, is by spending time
00:29:26.599 --> 00:29:29.660
with people that are better than you. Case in
00:29:29.660 --> 00:29:31.920
point, you've all heard of Usain Bolt this night,
00:29:32.480 --> 00:29:34.819
the runner, right? Fall into this, I watched
00:29:34.819 --> 00:29:37.420
a documentary on him recently, he's 14 years
00:29:37.420 --> 00:29:40.319
old, it's not that old, he was. And he was the
00:29:40.319 --> 00:29:43.819
fastest 14 -year -old in Jamaica. So he's fast,
00:29:43.819 --> 00:29:46.890
right? And his trainer gets him a lane to go
00:29:46.890 --> 00:29:50.230
to the Olympic stadium in Kingston to race against
00:29:50.230 --> 00:29:53.230
the men that were getting ready for the next
00:29:53.230 --> 00:29:57.589
Olympics. Look to this, little Usain, lane 8,
00:29:57.809 --> 00:30:00.089
and all these drogue men ready for the next Olympics.
00:30:00.490 --> 00:30:02.609
The crowd goes wild. Usain's running as fast
00:30:02.609 --> 00:30:05.349
as he can, runs through the finish line, dead
00:30:05.349 --> 00:30:12.109
last. Gets back on the bus. Gets in the minivan,
00:30:12.450 --> 00:30:15.920
sits in the back of the minivan. Salking. Why's
00:30:15.920 --> 00:30:19.359
he salking, Tim? Because he can't last, because
00:30:19.359 --> 00:30:23.000
he's used to winning. His trainer turns around,
00:30:23.680 --> 00:30:26.779
in the front of the minima, looks at him, and
00:30:26.779 --> 00:30:28.180
I'm not going to use the trainer's accent because
00:30:28.180 --> 00:30:29.740
my grandmother from Jamaica will tell you he's
00:30:29.740 --> 00:30:32.960
great. His trainer turns around and looks at
00:30:32.960 --> 00:30:35.480
him and says, you say, that's why we need to
00:30:35.480 --> 00:30:38.440
start racing against boys now, and start racing
00:30:38.440 --> 00:30:45.279
against men. The rest is history, right? Who
00:30:45.279 --> 00:30:47.559
you spend time with is who you become. Every
00:30:47.559 --> 00:30:49.259
single one of you needs to spend more time with
00:30:49.259 --> 00:30:51.380
people like you, and you need to spend more time
00:30:51.380 --> 00:30:53.420
with people that are more successful than you,
00:30:53.680 --> 00:30:55.259
because that's how you move to the next level.
00:30:55.599 --> 00:30:57.460
You've never been there before. You need people
00:30:57.460 --> 00:31:01.299
to pull you up. It's easier that way. A great
00:31:01.299 --> 00:31:03.519
example of this from me in my life, aside from
00:31:03.519 --> 00:31:05.039
the two examples I've given you, Coach Chris
00:31:05.039 --> 00:31:07.900
and Coach Andy, is Adam Stuck. Raise your hand
00:31:07.900 --> 00:31:09.779
if you've heard of Adam Stuck, by the way. Okay,
00:31:09.819 --> 00:31:12.839
so Adam is the founder of Big Business Entrepreneurs.
00:31:13.279 --> 00:31:16.559
Adam was on Rich House, Paul House. Adam was
00:31:16.559 --> 00:31:18.319
at Nega Run with Richard Branson a few weeks
00:31:18.319 --> 00:31:21.380
ago. Adam shared the stage with Al Pacino, John
00:31:21.380 --> 00:31:25.220
Travolta, Floyd Mayweather, Randy Zuckerberg,
00:31:25.240 --> 00:31:28.160
you made him, right? Incredible entrepreneur.
00:31:28.640 --> 00:31:32.119
After initially being annoyed by the fact that
00:31:32.119 --> 00:31:34.740
Adam's the same age as me and considerably more
00:31:34.740 --> 00:31:38.019
successful, after getting over myself about that,
00:31:38.649 --> 00:31:40.329
I've realised that if I spend more time with
00:31:40.329 --> 00:31:42.109
people like Adam, that's probably going to have
00:31:42.109 --> 00:31:43.789
a positive impact on me. You with me, yes or
00:31:43.789 --> 00:31:48.509
no? Yes. So anyway, it is my duty to shamelessly
00:31:48.509 --> 00:31:51.809
put Adam's book, Millionaire Success Secrets,
00:31:51.990 --> 00:31:54.230
right, which is on Amazon, which you can get
00:31:54.230 --> 00:31:56.250
it, everything that Adam's, you know, Adam's
00:31:56.250 --> 00:31:58.369
brain is in this book. Highly recommend that
00:31:58.369 --> 00:31:59.650
you get it, it's on Amazon, it's really, really
00:31:59.650 --> 00:32:03.480
good. Now. Team, is it alright if I use the F
00:32:03.480 --> 00:32:11.220
word today? Yes. So, I wonder if you can turn
00:32:11.220 --> 00:32:14.559
around and face me at the back of the room. Based
00:32:14.559 --> 00:32:17.079
on everything that I've just said to you about
00:32:17.079 --> 00:32:20.839
judgment, free zone, good action, five second
00:32:20.839 --> 00:32:23.299
rule, follow your intuition when you tell you
00:32:23.299 --> 00:32:26.099
to do something, as I dangle this book out here
00:32:26.099 --> 00:32:28.420
now, what is your intuition telling you to do?
00:32:30.220 --> 00:32:32.140
So why are you not setting us to grub it?
